I tried to answer but there were too many conflicting thoughts and languages running through my mind. I shook my head and looked at you helplessly.

You kissed me and said "Your name is Alfred and with my help you'll be a great nation."

I smiled and took your hand trusting you when I should have run away.

Suddenly someone is there in the window.

So many of them tried to warn me, but you just told me they were jealous of what we had. I believed you when I saw the way you and Francis fought so visciously. I thought we were in love, but you just wanted what I could give you.

I broke away from you with Francis's help. I tried to take Matthew with me but you had whispered to him things that weren't true and he flinched from my hand.

I turned away from him with a heavy heart and comforted Marcus when you turned your sights on Yao. I thought for sure he'd know you for what you are but perhaps he was too tired to play the game and you soon had him under your control. Control he fought with every ounce of himself. Marcus used that time to plan his escape and I helped him without an ounce of guilt.

War broke out amongst all of us and I wanted nothing more than to see you fall, but you didn't get where you are today without learning a few tricks. I joined when Russia turned his back on you. I hated you but I couldn't let eveyrone else fall because of you.

When war broke out again I wanted to leave you to it, thinking that maybe this time you'd get your comeuppance, But then Kiku attacked me thinking I was on your side and I retaliated, forced once more to your side by fate. I put an end to everything with as much finality as I could, but I'll always regret the scars Kiku now has, scars I put there.
