Description: SANZO'S POV Sanzo went for a walk in his
very own Garden. He finds a tree that should not be
there and decides what to do with it.

I can't believe that he let me out. How long has it
been since I first tried to stop him. Goku and the
others are still locked up. Why did he release me?

Surely he can't care for a person like me. If he
does then I can see why he gave me this garden.

I walk to the center of this quiet garden. No, sounds
of fighting. I walk up and notice a tree sitting
in the middle of my peaceful garden. I know that
he did not plant the tree. What is with this tree?

If he finds it I will be killed along with this
tree. I sit in the shade of that tree. My mind
begins to wander at where this Sakura tree might
come from.

I then hear them the footsteps that will spell
pain for me both physical and emotional. I look
up and see him walking toward me and this tree.
I stand shaking.

I turn to face the tree. How fitting that this
tree will be the last thing I see. I know that
punishment will come first then I will have to
watch as the peace I felt, since before the
revival mission failed, is burned down.

I hug the tree as if my life depended on it. I
wince to brace myself for the whip that I know
is going to strike at me for finding this little
bit of peace.

I feel his hands grab me and I accidently flinch.
Now I did it, he will smack me. How many times has
he said that I am not allowed to flinch from his
touches. He turns me around.

He tells me that I broke one of his rules. I nod
and my eyes fly open. Oh God! I am not to answer
direct statements. His hand slaps my cheek. The
tears start to flow down my cheek faster. He
slaps me again.

I know that I deserve the slaps for breaking the
rules. He kisses my cheek and walks away. Is he
just toying with me? Rude and angry one minute,
sweet and tender the next. I notice something
apart from the two slap I was not whipped. I sit
back down and a noise attracts my attention.

I look up and notice there is a note tied to a low
branch. I stand and take the note.

I read the words.

You may visit your friends in the dungeon. The tree
can stay. I seen your smile and I liked looking at
it. Your friends will never be released but you may
visit them freely. Always remember that you are my
slave.

That is true I surrendered to save Hakkai from any
pain. I am the one who failed but they were still
alive as Gojyo said at the start of our journey. I
have my permission to visit all three of them.

I know that I will sit in the sun and they won't
they are alive. Kougaiji would have killed them had
I not caught his eye.

I walk into the cell where my friends are. Goku wants
to know if I am ready to bust out of this castle. I
shake my head hiding the slave collar that my master
put on me. I know that one of them will notice the
collar.

Hakkai asks me if I am wearing a slave collar. Goku
and Gojyo both look at me. Damn hate me I do.

I said a loud, "YES! The only reason you all are still
alive is that Kougaiji is my master. As long as I stay
by his side and do not attempt to leave, you will be
safe. I maybe able to get you free if you do not try
and attempt an escape. Kougaiji will have me killed. I
know that means little to you three. Please do not make
any trouble for me and I will help you get out of the
dungeons."

I stand to leave.
