Epsilon

#01 – Motion ::
In battle, Alucard is nothing more then a blur of red and dark grey, of insane grins and maniacal laughter; and Abel has never before seen anything more beautiful, or more terrifying.

#02 – Cool ::
There are times when Abel actually does something that makes Alucard believe that maybe the younger male isn't a hopeless case; but it will take a lot of work before Abel ever accepts himself.

#03 – Young ::
Of them both, Abel is by far the younger one in years; but he makes up for that with his strong insight that never fails to make Alucard feel both uncomfortable and hateful, but also eternally grateful that someone sees him for more then what he's always believed he is.

#04 – Last ::
In simple terms, Cain was a complete asshole; that, and he was pretty much guaranteed a slow and painful death for touching something that wasn't his to lay claim to – Alucard would make sure that Cain would regret touching Abel until his dying breath, and beyond.

#05 – Wrong ::
“This is wrong,” Abel murmured against the vampire's lips; but even so, he couldn't find the willpower to stop himself, much less the stronger vampire who had him pinned up against the wall.

#06 – Gentle ::
There are moments that are few and far between where Alucard does something that's almost completely out of character that surprises Abel; those few soft touches and caresses that he leaves when he's either not thinking or he doesn't think that the priest will notice.

#07 – One ::
It's the one thing that Alucard swore that he'd never say, to anyone, and yet, the priest always seems to be able to pull his strings and make him confess to anything really; even getting him to say that one little phrase that carried so much meaning:

“I love you.”

#08 – Thousand ::
A thousand years could pass Alucard by, and he wouldn't make note of them; he'd seen too many nights and days pass by for him to make note of the passing of a thousand years, but now he finds it a bit difficult to image another thousand without Abel at his side – the Crusnik has become a fixture in his existence, and he doesn't know how to cut him out anymore.

#09 – King ::
Vampires don't believe in royalty, at least, Abel thought that they didn't; but apparently Alucard is still a king among his kind, and that leaves Abel in a very awkward position.

#10 – Learn ::
Apparently, Abel has a lot to learn if he ever wants to catch up with Alucard in terms of carnal knowledge, but Alucard is a very skilled teacher, and Abel is a very quick study, but he doesn't openly admit that he enjoys those lessons.

#11 – Blur ::
In battle, everything blends together, and Alucard sometimes has a problem of distinguishing friend from foe once the madness of battle takes him, but he's able to trust that himself enough to know that even in his insanity, he could never strike out at Abel because there's no way that the priest could ever blend in with the background.

#12 – Wait ::
Patience is a virtue that Alucard surprisingly does possess in great quantities; except when it comes to things that he wants, then Alucard becomes like a hunting dog, patience forgotten and all he cares about is grasping at and possessing what he desires.

#13 – Change ::
If Integra had still been around, then she would have noticed the subtle changes in her obedient dog – but she's not – so instead it's Caterina who notices that Abel is slowly changing from the goofy and withdrawn person he used to be; he's still secretive, but it's almost nice to see him slowly changing and just maybe accepting himself.

#14 – Command ::
Caterina hates how Alucard is outside of her control, but as long as she remains in command of Abel, then she knows that she has some sway over Alucard as well, it's not much, and she knows that the only who truly could be considered in control of the vampire is the very priest who serves under her; it's infuriating at times.

#15 – Hold ::
Waking up in the middle of the day, Abel would have shot up in a panicked state if it wasn't for the fact that he was secured very tightly by a pair of cool arms that held him firmly against a still, unmoving chest; and at that moment, he knows that he doesn't have to worry about his brother.

#16 – Need ::
They need each other, they balance each other out and are the other's only reason to cling to their sanity and existence; they need each other, and that's all that matters.

#17 – Vision ::
The moment that the blindfold is tied securely over his eyes, Abel knows that he's in for a long night of Alucard's own special brand of torment that he reserves just for him.

#18 – Attention ::
It's usually never a good thing to be the sole recipient of Alucard's undivided attention, and Abel's all too familiar with the too sweet torture that is the vampire's sexual appetite.

#19 – Soul ::
Placing his hand on Alucard's chest over where his heart is – a heart that no longer beats, that hasn't beat in many centuries – Abel still knows that buried somewhere deep down in there is a soul, and he's hoping to one day be able to see it.

#20 – Picture ::
“Here,” Abel pressed the simple, black framed photo into Alucard's hands; watching as the vampire's face took in the stern-looking woman captured in the image, and watching as his face fell into one of a sort of almost wistful sorrow; and then, he knew that he'd down the right thing because the vampire later said to him:

“Thank you.”

#21 – Fool ::
“You're an idiot,” Alucard smacked the other man upside the head, to which his only response was a sheepish grin and a muttered apology; and that only earned more exasperation on the vampire's part.

#22 – Mad ::
Alucard got angry fast, was possessive, and made easily jealous despite how he was the one who 'popped' the younger man's 'cherry'.

#23 – Child ::b
In some ways, Alucard is like a child; horribly selfish and possessive, someone who doesn't care if his words hurt people because what he's saying is the truth – but oddly enough, Abel finds that to be one of his most pleasing qualities.

#24 – Now ::
The moment is all that matters right then, and Alucard's learned that he has to seize them now before it's too late and something comes along to blow up what he has in his face, because nothing has ever turned out happily in the end for him.

#25 – Shadow ::
Abel knows that Alucard is following him – even when the vampire shouldn't – because Alucard is like his shadow; always following him because he can sometimes be horribly overprotective of him, especially whenever the Rosenkruez Orden is involved.

#26 – Goodbye ::
The gravestone is old and worn, the name on it is barely legible, but Alucard can make out the name on it still, 'Sir Integra Fairbrook Wingates Hellsing', and he lets out a deep breath, and cast a brief glance over his shoulder at Abel, “Goodbye master, it seems you won't be the only person to take possession of me so thoroughly.”

#27 – Hide ::
No matter how hard he tries, Abel knows that there's nowhere to hide from Alucard; the vampire knows him too well, and there's that feeling of, well, ownership of his very being when it comes to his feelings about the ancient vampire.

#28 – Fortune ::
Somewhere down the line, Alucard's certain that something is going to waltz in and destroy the fragile balance of his existence – fortune has never been kind to him – but he's content to bask in what he has.

#29 – Safe ::
Looking at the broken form of his lover on the bed, Alucard silently swore to himself that he wouldn't let anything near the younger man again; he would keep him safe no matter what the cost to himself and no matter how many people or threats he had to mow his way through to achieve that.

#30 – Ghost ::
The manor is ancient and decrepit – most of the walls have collapsed into the building, and the roof has caved in in most places – but Alucard can still feel the ghosts of his past haunting the halls, he can close his eyes and see Integra standing at the window of her office, outlined by the light of the moon, he can see Seras and Walter arguing over something in the basement, and he can remember being freed and attacking those Auto-Jδggers who tried to kill what soon became his.

#31 – Book ::
Sometimes, it surprises Abel just how domesticated he and Alucard seem; like the times where it's just the two of them and they're out in one of the more isolated areas of the Vatican complex where he's trying to read a book, and Alucard is using his lap as a pillow that all of it seems so... simple; so perfect.

#32 – Eye ::
When he reached to turn off the water, Abel could feel burning eyes on him, and he knew that he wasn't going to be leaving the shower any time soon.

#33 – Never ::
“There's no way in hell I'm going to let you go, ever.”

#34 – Sing ::
As Abel's breathing comes out in heavy pants, he can feel the vampire press closer, his hands playing an erotic tune on his body that he can't deny; and then the ancient one's lips are at his ear speaking words that make him come completely undone: “Sing for me, priest.”

#35 – Sudden ::
Pushing Abel up against the wall, Alucard growled, his fangs ran down the length of Abel's pale neck – the sudden act of controlled violence causing him to become almost painfully aroused – drawing blood from the superficial wounds and then the world stopped existing.

#36 – Stop ::
“St-sto –”

“If you tell me to stop one more time priest, I'll gag you.”

#37 – Time ::
To the both of them, time had really lost its poignant meaning; they have all of the time that the world can give them, and possibly more, but the one thing that makes the thought of that easier for Alucard to bear is the fact that he won't have to spend that 'eternity' by himself any longer – he has someone at his side who makes the long nights and days seem so much brighter.

#38 – Wash ::
Abel blushed when he saw the huge claw-footed bathtub in the bathroom of the hotel; he didn't notice when Alucard followed him in, but he did notice when the vampire wrapped an arm around his waist and nipped playfully at his ear, “That's a fine idea you have there.”

#39 – Torn ::
Even when the bullet tore a burning hole through his chest, the pain wasn't nearly as great as seeing the look of horror and self-loathing that Abel could see in the ancient vampire's eyes when he pulled the trigger.

#40 – History ::
Alucard's got a long history, and there's a lot of it that he doesn't care about because it was pointless and stupid to care about; but Abel seemed to find it interesting, even the boring and the crueller parts; he never said that he had a happy one either.

#41 – Power ::
At times, Alucard's power is nearly intoxicating, and Abel can't bring himself to look away – whether it's in the heat of battle or in the midst of another heated session of sex of theirs where the vampire presses him against the nearest solid surface.

#42 – Bother ::
The only thing about Abel that ever really and truly pissed Alucard off, was how he continued to bother with his stupid idiot persona that annoyed the vampire to no end.

#43 – God :: (con.'t from #05)
“If you haven't noticed, priest, God rarely ever steps in when something's wrong; immorality is something that's defined by humans, which is something that neither you or I am.”

#44 – Wall ::
“The last time we used a wall, I wound up with bruises and you left a fair sized dent in it; not to mention that the lady next door heard us the entire time.”

“But you liked it. A lot.”

#45 – Naked ::
Pushing Abel down into the bed, Alucard took his time and explored the planes of Abel's chest, finding the outlines of muscles fascinating as he traced them with his lips, tongue, and fangs, loving the noises that the other man made in response.

#46 – Drive ::
Alucard's sex drive is unbelievable sometimes in how insatiable it can be, and Abel can attest to that.

#47 – Harm ::
“I wouldn't hurt you, ever,” Alucard murmured, finally, his lips soft against Abel's brow as he let those words slip; it was the most sickeningly sweet thing he'd ever said – and it was the truth, which made it all the more scary for him to admit it.

#48 – Precious ::
For Alucard, he didn't hold many people in high esteem – it wasn't so much that he considered people below him, it was just that few people were worthy of his respect at all – but the few people that he actually cared about, who he considered important, were what made his long existence bearable; and Abel is one of those people.

#49 – Hunger ::
Few people had ever offered up their blood willingly to slate Alucard's thirst – he could count on one hand the people who had fed him over the countless centuries he'd lived – but none of them had ever elicited the same feelings in him that Abel did, and that sets the Crusnik apart from everyone else.

#50 – Believe ::
For the first time in well over a millennia, Alucard finds himself praying to a god that he no longer believes in – that he's long since renounced – to not take away one more person who he's come to love.

I'm working on a much longer, more coherent fic for this pairing mostly because there's pretty much nothing for it and because I'm seriously hooked. Secondly, I got Mia hooked on it when I sent her a fic, and now we're shamelessly wanting more, and I decided to provide.

Twilight.
