A/N: Okay, I know I should be working on other stuff and not starting a new story, but I just now got to watching the Hades Arc, and it made me feel overly inspired, therefore I now bring to you my new fic. I have decided to play with pairings in here, mostly because crack pairings are fun, and quite frankly I’m in the mood to fool around. Anyway, Enjoy.

                Five years, five long years had gone by since the end of the last holy war. Shun looked down at his mug of tea and sighed. Getting up and stretching he wandered out into the main area of the Virgo temple. After the last Holy War, the then Andromeda Saint had been chosen, along with the other five bronze saints to become new gold saints, each to the constellation that was their birthright.

                Shun shook his head a little bit as he drained the last of the tea from his mug and got up, after setting it in the sink, as he heard footsteps. “Oi! Shun!” He walked to the entrance of his temple which faced the empty Scorpio temple and a slight frown formed on his soft lips, before it broke into a smile as he saw Hyoga running towards him.

                “Hyoga, to what do I owe the pleasure?” He laughed softly as he looked at his long time friend. “If you had let me know you were coming I could have held breakfast and we could have eaten together.” Shun teased, he knew the Aquarius knight probably would have already eaten anyway.

                “That’s very kind of you Shun.” He laughed softly giving the other a gentle hug before looking at him. “I actually was worrying about Ikki, he mentioned not feeling too well, and with Ikki if he says that… well normally its serious.”

                Shun glared at Hyoga and sighed shaking his head. “Why didn’t you tell me sooner?” He didn’t seem too happy about this, Shun sighed running his fingers through wild green locks before raising an eyebrow at Hyoga. “Well?”

                “I just found out. I’ve been trying to contact him but no such luck. You always seem to forget Ikki and I are connected.” Shun nodded smiling again, but that smile masked sadness and worry, it had always masked the former ever since Ikki and Hyoga had become a couple shortly after they had returned from the Holy War. Shun had always imagined that he would be the one spending his life with Hyoga; Ikki had never seemed the type to dedicate himself. However a lot of things seemed to change after the Holy War.

                “Anyway, we should go check on him.” Shun said softly as they both took off at a run once more. “If he’s not answering you this can only be bad.” He added as they rushed towards the fifth house together. (I looked up Ikki’s birthday, and its August the 15^th which is Leo)

                “Ikki!” Hyoga called out as they ran in, he could barely feel the throb of his partner’s cosmos and ran towards it. A look of horror crossed both of their faces as they saw it; Ikki was on the floor of the main temple area, unconscious. “Shun, go get the others and see if Athena will or can do anything to help him, we may have to get him to a hospital.” Hyoga was carrying Ikki back towards his bedroom and tucked the elder Saint in. “Please Ikki, don’t leave me alone… I can’t lose you and neither can Shun.” Hyoga whispered as he got a cold rag and began to wipe his lover’s face, a look of desperation in his eyes.

                Shun began his sprint through the temples. At least he only had to get to the Libra temple, and have Shiryu alert Seiya that he was coming, that at least would save him some time. Shun ran straight into the Libra Temple. “Shiryu!” The former Dragon saint came out quickly seeming surprised.

                “Shun? What’s going on?” He looked at Shun with a look of confusion now, and glanced back as a still sleepy Seiya wandered out of Shiryu’s living area. “I mean, it’s not that I’m not glad to see you, but… not everyone gets up at 9 in the morning.” He chuckled softly gazing affectionately back at Seiya.

                “Ikki’s really sick. He collapsed, Hyoga’s taking care of him, but I need to get to Athena. I don’t know if she’ll help him, or even be able to but I can’t lose Ikki… He’s all I have.” Shun looked up at them, blinking furiously. He was trying to hold back his tears, he’d gotten much better about his habit of crying easily, but this was just too much. Hadn’t fate dealt him enough trouble already?

                “I’m sure she’ll be able to help him Shun…” Seiya said softly as he touched the smaller man’s back gently. “Come on, I’ll even go with you.” He looked at Shiryu. “Go help Hyoga; you might be able to do something.” Seiya waved his hand before taking off along with Shun, cutting through the empty temples of Scorpio, Capricorn, and Pisces, and passing through Seiya’s and Hyoga’s with no trouble at all.

                “Saori-san!” Saori looked up surprised to see two of her Saints so early in the morning. “There’s trouble.” Seiya was breathing heavy from the sprint up the temples, Shun followed shortly behind him.

                “It’s Ikki, Athena-sama.” He fell to one knee looking up at her. Saori smiled a little bit, Shun always had acted with so much respect towards her. “He’s very sick right now, and collapsed… We don’t know what’s wrong…”

                “We didn’t know what else to do…” Seiya said softly and looked at Shun who rose to his feet. “We were hoping that maybe you could help him… I don’t think its normal… I mean this is Ikki we’re talking about, the man got crushed by an avalanche and killed by Hades and was completely fine.” He pointed out right as Saori was about to say something. It was obvious from her expression, that it had not occurred to her.

                “This must be some illness.” She replied before walking over and picking her staff up and walking back to the two saints before slamming it on the ground. A yelp came from Seiya as they were suddenly in the Leo temple and he lost balance sending him tumbling into a chair. “I’ll go see what I can do.” Shiryu and Hyoga came out shortly after and sat down.

                “I’ll make some tea.” Shun said softly before looking at the others. Hyoga gave a small nod, and Shiryu wrapped his arm around Hyoga comfortingly.

                “It’s going to be okay, with Athena’s help and Ikki’s own strength; he’ll be good as new in no time.” Shiryu said softly and Shun nodded as he listened to them talking, trying to make themselves believe that he would get better.

                ‘He won’t be getting better’ A voice echoed in his mind, and it wasn’t his own. Shun jumped, dropping the mug that was in his hand. It fell to the floor shattering, his hands shaking now. He knew that voice, it was Hades voice, that voice he’d heard so clear and so many times as he’d fought for control of his body.

                “Shun, you okay?” Seiya poked his head in and frowned seeing Shun like this. “Ikki will be okay. Shun, listen to me, Ikki may be the Leo saint, but under the gold cloth, he’s still the immortal Phoenix.”

                “No… Ikki’s mortal, just like the rest of us.” Shun replied as he bent down and began to gather the shattered mug. “ow.” He grumbled as his finger jerked to his lips. “Damn cup.”

                “Go get a band-aid. I’ll clean this up. Also I doubt if Ikki has tea, so you may want to grab some from your temple, since you’re Mr. Tea Drinker.” Seiya smiled patting Shun’s back as the smaller Virgo saint nodded and headed back up to his temple. On his way out however he saw something he probably shouldn’t have been able too, walking down the steps from his temple was Thantos, the God of Death himself.

                “T-Thantos!” Shun looked around, none of the others were around to hear him speak, in case he was seeing things. No, he decided, the moment the silver haired God turned to Stare him down; he most definitely wasn’t seeing things. “W-what are you? Oh no… Goddess no!” His hand flew to his mouth to cover it, Thantos was here to collect Ikki’s soul and bring it for judgment. Tears threaten to spill over, and this time Shun did nothing to stop them. He had to do something; he just had to, for Ikki’s sake, and Hyoga’s.

A/N: Cliff Hanger! I’d like some reviews and opinions. The only decided pairings for the specters are RhadamanthysxKanon, RunexMu, and MinosxAphrodite. So suggestions for pairings are open, and the only reason I’m pairing Rune/Lune/Rene (I get the Rune and Lune, but where the hell did Rene come from?) and Mu is because I saw some awesome fan art of them as a pair and I wanted to write it into a story.
