Marine Luffy
Luffy gets raised as a marine, being a rubber man and learning the 6 powers has made him very strong, but Luffy wants freedom. He goes to inspect a marine base and meets Zoro. Luffy cannot let Zoro be executed so he turns against the marines.

Chap 1 Caged Bird Wanting Freedom
Garp was furious when he saw Ace had become a pirate, he came for Luffy. He dragged Luffy to a marine base and began his brutal training as a marine. Luffy learned the 6 powers and they advanced his rubber powers. Luffy did this to keep his hat, since Garp threatened to throw it away if he did not stick to training as a marine.
Luffy being who he is tried to see the bright side of things, even though deep down he was miserable. The marine training made him stronger a lot stronger, and using the marine's connections he was able to hear about Ace and his journey. He also got to keep Shank's hat. His grandpa was happy to, and Garp bragged about his marine grandson. Also Luffy was able to crush pirates that hurt innocent people and mocked their dreams. To Luffy these pirates had no right to sail.
All these things however did not ease Luffy's heart ache. He wished to sail the seas as a pirate, to become the king of the pirates, and obtain the ultimate freedom. He gripped the window sill in his bedroom as he looked out to the sea. "I will become a pirate, I will be free…"
A knock came to his door. "Luffy sir may I enter…"
"Hai…" Luffy said in a bored tone. The door opened and a marine entered his room and saluted. "Pardon me sir, I have mission orders for you sir…" Luffy waved at him telling him he didn't need to salute. Luffy's skills had raised him to a high ranking officer the same rank as Smoker. "Luffy sir you are to head to a marine base run by Captain Axe Hand Morgan, and get a report of his current actions, and see through the execution of pirate hunter Roronoa Zoro…"
"What's his crime…?" Luffy asked curious as to why a pirate hunter would be put up for execution. "Um…" The marine panicked and began flipping through the report. "It doesn't say sir…"
Luffy sprang up and put on his marine jacket. It had the word justice on the back of it. He grabbed his straw hat and placed it on his head. He left his room with a back pack like bag and the marine quickly followed. "Luffy sir where are you going…?"
"How far is the island from here, and which direction…?" Luffy asked and the two walked out of the base.
"Oh um it's 46.8 miles North by Northeast…" He said completely confused. "Sir shouldn't we prepare a ship…?"
"Nope I got it…" Luffy said and stood on the edge of the island the marine base was set on. "This direction right…?" Luffy put his sandals in his bag.
"Yes sir but what are you…?" Luffy jumped towards the sea. "Sir you're a devil fruit user…"
"46.8 miles I'll be there in a day…" Luffy said his foot touched the water and he used Shave and started running on water. The marine fell back in shock. "Luffy sir…"
Not all marines knew this but Luffy had gained a unique talent by combining shave and moon walk with his stretching ability. He could run exactly 50 miles on water. Luffy acquired this skill mainly cause he didn't want to sail a marine ship only a pirate ship of his own.
Luffy ran at high speed getting closer to the island, where his destiny would be found.
