Chapter 1: Meila's Story
It was a gloomy day at Auschwitz as usual. It is also the Fall of 1942, and a Jewish girl named Meila and her brother, Amir, have just arrived via cattle cars on a train. "Here we are, Meila", Amir sighs, as they were lead into the camp, along with all the other Jews on board. She asks Amir, "What will happen to us, big brother?" He replies, "Don't worry, Meila, nothing will happen to us, if we do as they say.", as his sister nodded. The two, along with all the other Jews were assigned their numbers, told to strip down and surrender all their belongings. Meila was seperated from her brother, as she and the other women the Nazis spared went to their assigned barracks. She remarks, "I feel embarrassed about having to be naked. To add insult to injury, Amir's been separated."
She was suddenly struck with a whip, as an SS soldier spat, "Get moving to the barracks, you whelp." She cried in pain, she walked into the barracks for the night with her backside covered in red welts. That, because she got on a cot, which only has a small, torn blanket barely big enough for her, along with a pillowcase with nothing in it. Later that night, Meila received a vision in her dreams. She finds herself in what appears to be space. She sees a large spiral galaxy, and asks herself, "What is this?" A mysterious voice replies, "Do not be alarmed, my child." Then, the area zoomed in further, until she is in front of Celestia Alpha and Solaris, the parent stars of the Exemplar Unus System.
"Do my eyes deceive me, or am I being visited by talking stars?", asks Meila, as Solaris replies, "It is the latter, child. I am Solaris, one of the parent stars of the Exemplar Unus System alongside Celestia Alpha, or at least I would be, of Planet Hylia, which merged with the Pokemon World, and Earth. Now called BioStar, you are in the future, in your dreams, but you are still in the past, in the physical realm. You are in the Dream World version of the Universe, several centuries later than your time. Anyways, we are here to give you guidance and support, until the time is right." She asks, "For what, may I wonder?", to which Celestia Alpha replies, "For your rescue from this terrible place, and to start a new life in a new time period; one where you'll never have to worry about another Nazi ever again."
Meila nodded as Celestia Alpha says, "Time has grown short, and it's almost dawn in your world, and you won't remember this, as so to not arouse suspicion. Good luck, and your rescue will be in two years around this time. Farewell." Meila was suddenly woken up, as they were told to get up by an SS guard. She, along with the other females in the barracks got up, as harshly instructed by the guard. They went out of the barracks, and were flogged and cattle prodded to the center of the camp. She was now covered in red welts and burnt areas on her back and rear, as they stood face to face with one of the lead SS troops, who explained the rules for the camp. After that, the women were sent to work on the fence, which had been damaged from an escape attempt.
Meila went with the other women and started working on the fence with no equipment and no safety measures. Meila tried working on getting the wire back up, but not fast enough, as an overseer struck her with his bull whip, causing her to cry out as the man snarled, "Faster, Jew, get moving! Or you will get more strikes, and go without food." The man strikes her more, as she cried even more as she worked. She was suffering terribly, and it was only one day, and after hours of working, she had to go without food for a week, due to her slow work. About a little more than a year, and by now, it is now January of 1944. Today was cold and harsh, and Meila and other women were to go to the medical area to be experimented on. They were pushed into the medical room, with Meila being first to be experimented on, by Dr. Carl Clauberg, who inject liquid acid into her reproductive system, gluing it shut.
Meila cried out in pain from this, which left a blackened bruise on her abdomen while her vagina bled. She was taken outside for more work. Months went by, and she has lost a lot more weight from starvation, things got worse for her as more of her family are killed, and now, it is September. That day will soon turn out the worst of all. That morning, she was taken to do harsh labor, which is in the gravel pit. She had to move the gravel by hand, with nothing to help with. She tried to move them, but was too slow, as the overseer relentlessly struck her with a whip hard, multiple times as he snarled, "Move faster now, you whelp!" Meila screamed even more, as he beat her more, as an SS soldier came and started kicking and beating her. She begged them to stop, but they wouldn't. She was now bleeding from her wounds, and felt her ribs cracked and coughed up blood. She was thrown to the ground, and they dragged her to witness the execution of her only remaining family member left, Amir. She was tied down, as she watched them shoot her brother dead, as he fell down lifeless. Meila was put in the barracks without any food. That night, she got up, weak, still bleeding, and heartbroken. She went behind a wall outside, curled up, and cried, silently praying to get out of this place. It was not until a blue green light flashed nearby, revealing a green fairy-like creature known as Celebi, the Time Travel Pokemon. The small pokemon asks Meila, "Why are you crying?"
She replied tearfully, "I witnessed the execution of my brother, and I fear that I may be selected to die tomorrow.", as she silently wept. Celebi floats over to Meila, and nuzzled her reassuringly, which she found endearing, and asked, "Would you like me to take you away from this terrible place?" "Yes, please! Anywhere but here!", Meila pleaded desperately, as she tightly held to Celebi who says, "Don't worry, I will get you out of here. I am going to take you to the future! Hang on, it's time to travel." Celebi then glowed as she and Meila were engulfed in a blue and green light as they were sent through time to the future, and soon reappeared on the snowy landscape of a mountain in the Sinnoh region, called Mt. Coronet.
