Preface/Authors Note:
Hi All. Just so that it's out there, I am a total begginer at erotic stories, with this being my first ever attempt. I have been writing since i was a teenager, but no one but me has ever read any of my other work, so not only is this my first attempt at erotic, but also the first peice of my writtings that I'm putting out in public (granted, this is not the first place i've put this short story, i actually wrote it in response to a request on a forum whoes name i can't remember back in 2011)
So yes, this short story is based on the late events of the anime, but only because the anime is the translated medium that progresses the furthest into the TB story line. (even if for the most part the anime is a ridiculously simplified version of the otherwise fascinating and intuige filled story. I've read all the translated novels, up to RAM 4 & ROM 3, and check mangafox oncer or twice a month for a new chapter. To be honest, i can't actually bring myself to watch the anime anymore, i get three or four eps in (to about where Geneon really starts to shit on the story) and just get so annoyed with the inaccuracy that i start doing a runing comentary to myself about how it was supposed to be... i do beleive i have digressed, apologies, getting back on track). The point i was trying to get to was that this is not primarily based of the anime, it is primarily based off the novels, than the manga adaptation, and then finally resorting to the anime for where my knowledge of the original version is lacking.
Please rate/comment if the mood strikes you. I'm not planning on adding to this, but my noobie pride needs to be stroked and my noobie fears of rejection allayed. Or you can tell e how much i suck at writing, fair's fair.
Enjoy!
Asthe noticed Abel had fallen asleep, and tucked herself in even tighter against him. They were huddled toghether for warmth, the ruins that had fallen down around them, leaving them trapped, were near freezing cold.
She sighed as she pondered how Count Memphis could ever reach them in time, and played out the events that lead up to this in her mind once more. She was lammenting her actions that had lead to this, and searching for some small glimmer of hope, that this was not the end.
Asthe had been outside the Empire for some time now. After meeting with Cardinal Sforza alone, as Count of Memphis Ion had left when word reached them of her Tovarish's suposed demise, she reported back to her majesty the Empress, likewise alone. Asthe had then requested to leave the Empire and once again don her Terran style clothes to move through the Outer World, so that she may also take up the mission of Count Memphis, and her Tovarish who had not died after all. As she traveled the Terran world, searching for the hands of the Contra Mundi, or any other band of thugs devoted to smearing her proud races name, time had gotten away from her. Had she been away for weeks, months... years?
And then, two weeks ago, she got word that a tall young man with long silver hair who wore preist robes, accompanied by a teenage boy with a blond bob and skilled with a sword, had freed a town that was under occupation by "vampires." While Asthe didn't care much for the further mockery of her people, or the despicable acts of the feral Methuselah who seemed to thrive on hate, she knew that the two must be her Tovarish Abel and Count Memphis Ion.
She had devoted all her efforts to tracking them, and when she finally cought up with them, it couldn't have been at a worse possible time.
She found the two just as they emerged from a condemned building, a small skyscraper dateing back to the pre-armaggedon era. They had only just finnished exchanging surprised greetings and breifly filling each other in about what they had managed to do, when a group of at least fourty Auto Jaggers, the Orden's favourite grunts, ambushed them.
Asthe and Ion had stood their ground and fought, facing the enemies that surrounded them head on, while Abel ran back into the condemned building the two had been investigating before Asthe met up with them.
Asthe had thought she knew her Tovarish well, that he was a brave man who would never simply run and desert his comrads. But Ion did not seem suprised by this, on the contrary, he paid no mind at all.
Then Asthe realised that Abel had fired off two shots, and was waveing his arms and calling out as he ran. Maybe thirty of the fourty Jaggers chased after Abel, he was trying to lead them away from the two, puting himself in mortal danger and almost certain death to give them a better chance. That was the Tovarish she knew.
She went to assist him, but Ion insisted she stay and help him until their own enemies where fewer. As soon as only three were left standing, she ran at full speed to Abel's side. Only, when she got there, every last one of the thrity Jagger's had been destroyed. Some had bullet holes in their heads close to the building's entrance, but most lay scattered in the foyer, all dismembered in varrying ways.
Abel stood at the centre of the mascre, covered in blood, the back of his robe torn to shreds, but otherwise not a scratch on him. Asthe was just about to ask him what had happened when she heard the explosions.
The buliding began to shake, Asthe heard crashing sounds comming from above them, and a low rumble from below. Abel had tackled her to the side just as the ceiling above her gave way, but the two plummeted into a chasm that had opened in the floor.
The building had a three level basement, three stories for them to fall. During the fall, Asthe knocked her head as they crashed through the first levels floor and blacked out. Her and Abel had separated as they fell, and when she came too, her and Abel where alive. They had been lucky enough for the large chunks of ruble to have fallen in a way that didn't crush them, but rather created a small air bubble where they where trapped.
Asthe shook her head to herself. Only around this guy would I find myself in such a predicerment. He is a magnet for bad luck. Maybe that is why, I find myself fond of him.
She tilted her head to study his sleeping face, although tense from pain and covered in a thin layer of cold sweat, he still manged to be handsome. His shallow breaths were beggining to concern her, once Asthe had righted herself after they fell, she had had to dig him out from under a pile of debris. He had been pinned face down to the ground by a large crumbling peice of ancient concrete, the weight and impact of it had completly crushed his left shoulder.
He would probably die from that wound if they were not found soon, she gave him maybe another eight or nine hours at best. Even only just after the fall, the entire left side of his chest was already turning black, he was probably bleeding out internally while they just sat here.
But if he died, than Asthe would never get the chance to tell him. She had once told Count Memphis to tell the Terran Esther how he felt, even though she herself could not follow her own advice.
But no more, she decided. If he was going to die down here, and she was likely to follow soon after, then she would have no regrets.
She tenderly rested her hand on his uninjurd shoulder and shook him lightly, something so gentle was very out of character for her. "Abel. Wake up."
"Uh?" Abel grogilly opened his eyes, he rubbed them for some time then straightened his glasses. "What is it, Asthe? Is someone comming?" He looked around becoming more alert, on the lookout for an enemy in the small space.
She shook her head. "No, no one's comming. Not in time to save us, anyway."
Abel looked upon her kindly. "You musn't lose hope. I'm sure Count Memphis is doing all he can to locate us. Just give him a little more time, you'll see." He tilted his head to the side with his goofy optimistick smile spread across his face.
Asthe realised now for the first time, why he closed his eyes when he smiled like that. It was because his eyes could never carry the optimism his face pretended was there.
"All the same father, with injuries like yours, no Terran could last another day. The sun is about to rise, Count Memphis will be forced to seek shelter... and there are things that I have to say to you before it's too late." Her voice almost faltered, the thought of loseing her Tovarish a second time scarred her to death. Only, she would know for sure it was real this time, his corpse would be right in front of her as proof.
Abel cocked his head to the other side. "What are you talking about? I'm not that seriously injured. I'll be alive as long as you."
Asthe couldn't understand why the brave act, or why he seemed to not be taking this situation seriously. A skyscraper from before Armaggeddon had colapsed ontop of them, burrying them three storys undergound in the buildings lowest basement. Even if a fully outfitted rescue crew knew exactly where to start digging, it would take them at least a week to reach them, proably just in time to remove their bodies before they became seriously decayed.
Asthe got up and moved over to his injured side, about to pull his robe back. "Look Abel, this wound is very seri..." Asthe trailed of and stared at his chest doumbfounded.
There wasn't a mark on him. Only his beatifully sculpted muscles met her eyes, even if his skin was a little pale for a Terran, and covered in the same shean of cold sweat that his face was. "I don't understand, I saw it with my own eyes. Every bone was crushed, and every muscle was nothing but pulp..." She trailed off, unable to remove her eyes from his gorgeous body.
Abel, oblivious to the reason of her stareing, shook his head. "Maybe you dreamed it. As you can see, I'm perfectly fine, just a little sore all over from the fall."
Maybe... maybe she had imagined it. Maybe it was just a dream, but she was sure she hadn't slept in the hours that they had been trapped.
A gleam entered her eye. He wasn't hurt, which means he should have no problem. "There are still things that I must tell you, Abel. Neither of us will probably ever see the sky again, I am resigned to that, but I don't want to have any regrets."
"What are you talking about, Asthe?"
She threw one of her legs over him and sat on his thighs, holdeing herself close to him as he tried to retreat into the wall of debris. "Asthe...?"
"I am grateful to you, my Tovarish. You were the only one who showed me kindness on the outside, even though you knew I was a Methuselah. You, a man of the Vatican, who have made us their sworn enemys. I'll admit, you annoyed me at first, but as I came to see how truly compashionate and noble you were, I've been lost to all other men." She leaned in even closer, holding her face not an inch from him as she grinned.
"Asthe? What are you saying? I-I'm a priest! Th-this isn't allowed!"
She purred in his ear. "I know you feel for me too. I know you want me as badly as I want you."
Her hand snaked into his pants, finding his penis was a little aroused, enough for her to know her own words had been true.
"Asthe! No, please stop!"
"I will, but only if I think you really want me to."
She wrapped her fingers around him, and began to run her thumb up and down him in the confined space. He half closed his eyes and moaned a little in pleasure, but he was still trying to deny that he wanted this. She put her lips to his and kissed him deeply, his resitance lasting only a single breath.
He evetually found the will to push her away, removing her hand from his pants, though leaving behind quite a buldge. "No. No, I can't do this, I don't have the right."
She grined like a cat and placed her hands on his shoulders. "The only person who can give you this right is me, and you clearly have it."
She used her superior strength and pushed him the the gound, she stradled him and sat on his stomach, holding him in place as he vainly tried to get up. She looked at his tattered cassock, the back was strangly torn out befor the fall, but now the sleaves and chest had large tears.
She ran her fingers over the flesh exposed by a large hole, then hooked her finger into a corner of it and tore away the rest of the tatterd cloth, all that remained of the upper part of his robes were the sleaves and collar.
"No Asthe, please don't." His pleas were becomeing more and more feeble, they now seemed to be only a reflex. He could no longer pretend that he meant them.
She admired his sculpted chest, all the well defined muscles may have been flat, but they were firm with tone and strength. She spread her hands out over his chest, feeling his heart beat for a time, then moved down to toy with his nipples useing her mouth.
He moand a little more, his eyes closeing and head lolling back. She felt him subconciously move his hips slowy behind her, his hands came up around the back of her head to hold her gently. She deftly moved her own hands to the fastenings of her corsette like body peice, and threw it to the side.
She pressed her breasts against him, slowly kissing her way up his chest. She leaned over him, her breasts dangling in his face.
There was only the smallest light of reservation still in his eyes. She grabbed one of his hands, tore the glove from it with a single flick of her finger, and placed it on her breast, making him squeeze it a few times to feel its softness. And when she let him go, his hand stayed, and he slowly began to squeeze it on his own. She grabbed his other hand and placed it on her other breast, but this time she didn't need to coax him, he began to fondle her by his own will, becomeing less and less hesitant with each second.
Abel's hands were quickly arousing her. As she moved her own hands to take off her shoes, she felt Abel bring his mouth to her breasts, and she began to moan softly in pleasure.
Abel continued to play with her breasts as she removed her shoes and pants. Now the only thing she wore was her leather coat, drapped across the two of them.
One of Abels hands began to creep its way down her body, comeing to rest as it firmly cupped her crotch, but did no more. She placed her hand on top of his, and pushed one of his fingers between her soaking wet lips. He started to probe slowly, eliciting small gasps from Asthe every time he touched her clit. Eventually two of his fingers found their way the rim of her vagina, and hesitated for only a moment before they began to explore inside her as well.
Asthe let her head loll back as she purred in enjoymeant, and wondered what he was thinking now that he knew she was no virgin.
She slowly sat up, and Abel reluctantly let her go. She scooted further down him, sitting on his thighs again, she tore open the lower part of his tatterd robes, and began to unbuckle his pants.
Abel seemed to regain some of his reservstion, and made one more plea, even though he knew she would not stop. "Please Asthe, don't take this any further. You deserve better than me, I am unworthy."
Asthe finished removing his pants and grinned like a cat once more. "I disagree, you are the only man I deem worthy."She grabbed his peins and began stroking him, causeing him to maon louadly. He was rock hard, as ready as she was.
She raised herself up and positioned his dick under her, then slid onto him just as he drew in breath to make what he had intended to be his final plea. He closed his eyes and his face went a little blank as Asthe began to move up and down, slowly rocking back and forth.
She lay down on him as she moved her hips, and felt him begin to move his in time with her. Abel wrapped his arms around her, bringing her as close to him as he could, all but loseing himself to this moment.
Asthe was surprised when Abel suddenly roled them over and started doing the work. She grinned as moans began to escape her lips, if he wanted to be on top, that was fine with her. She wrapped her legs around him as she looked into his eyes. They were firce and possessive, a fire burned behind their frozen blue surface, fire and ice had become one within him.
Abel began thrusting harder and faster, his own breathing deep and filled with low moans. He held his face just above Asthe's, she could taste his breath and smell his skin.
The fire in his eyes was becoming more intense, Asthe imagined that she could even see the slightest red of a flame glowing within them.
She closed her own golden eyes and focused on enjoing herself, on this moment. She focused only on the proximity of their bodies, of the feel of his chest pressed against her breasts, of their hips meeting, of his long shaft being burried inside her over and over...
Ah!" She snapped hers eyes open as pain began to dig into her shoulder. Abel was holding her shoulder tightly, but no Terran should have a grip like that.
"Abel, you're hurting me." Asthe said looking back to his face, but froze as she beheld his eyes. They weren't blue anymore, the red light she thought she had imagined had turned them crimson. Abel wasn't behind those eyes, they were cold and crazed.
"A-Abel...? Ah!" The pain in her shoulder became sharp as her skin was peirced, and she felt little warm trickles of her blood run down her back. Abels hands had become clawed, they looked deadlier than the talons of any Methuselah. This time when she looked back to his face, his long silver hair was floating above his head, and black wings had sprung from his back to encircled them.
What in the world was he becomeing?
"Abel, stop! Let me go!" Asthe shouted at him, but the creature ignored her pleas and continued to fuck her.
The wings that had sprung from its back fanned out as much as they could, they only just fit inside the small bubble. In fact, they moulded to its shape perfectly, almost as though it were made for them... or by them. Abel cocked his head to the side, his useually innocent action was now sinister. A voice that was inhuman sneered. "We are not yet satisfied. You will give us all we desire before we are through with you."
Asthe was shocked. She was used to seeing fangs on people, as was every Methuselah. But seeing the fangs inside Abels mouth as the other voice spoke surprised her most of all. He had to be some kind of Methuselah as well, there was no way he was a Terran. Asthe tried to calm down a little. "Who is "we"? And where is Abel?"
The creature that had been Able slowed in its thrusting, apparently intruiged by her lack of fear. "We Crusnik are in control. Abel is ours for now."
Crusnik? Where had Asthe heard that word before? ...Of course, it was Abel's code name in the AX, he was agent Crusnik.
The creature began to move faster, and eventually arched it's back as it came. It turned it's glowing red eyes back down upon Asthe, it's clawed hand still sunk into her shoulder, and grinned wide showing its fangs. "We are hungry."
No sooner had the realisation crossed her mind then the thing sank its fangs into Asthe's neck, and began to gulp down her blood.
She called out, hopeing that Abel would be able to hear her. "No, Abel! Stop this thing! Please, make this monster go away! My Tovarish, Abel!"
The mouth working aginst her throat froze. Slowly it relaesed both her shoulder and neck, drawing back. A line of her blood ran from its lips, where fangs were still present, the wings, though shrinking visibly, still surrounded them, and its hands were still claws. And even though its eyes still glowed red, they were no longer crazed, but full of shock and self disgust.
"Asthe... Oh God, what have I done."
The voice sounded more like Abel's, but was still distorted. Asthe was still scarred, but not nearly as much as she had been moments ago. She knew that even though he still looked like that creature, it was again Abel that lay ontop of her.
His wings were gone entirley as he stumbled backwards away from her as fast as he could, shaking his head in disbeleif of what he had just done. He starred at his clawed hands, ones fingers stained red with her blood, then covered his face with them.
Asthe slowly sat up, so thrown of balance by the last minute to even know how to begin. "Abel...? What just happend?"
His blue eyes looked up from his hands that were no longer clawed, he looked like the Terran Abel once more. He slowly took in her body, in a chaste search to see how greivously she was harmed. "Are you all right, Asthe? I didn't hurt you too badly, or... take too much of your blood?"
Asthe went still. He had drunk her blood, he had drunk the blood of a Methuselah. He had been strong enough to hold her down with ease, with only one hand at times. She was sure his shoulder had been destroyed, but he had completly healed within a few hours from a wound that would have taken her days...
What was he?
Asthe tried to collect her thoughts. "I, I'll be fine. But, what happened to you? Why did you... become that way?"
He looked away into space, staying silent and in shame.
Asthe started to become annoyed. Still practically naked, she stood up and snapped at him. "You owe me an answer, Tovarish."
His blue eyes shot back to her face, astounded. "You still, you still consider me your partner? You still trust me?"
She sighed in an effort to reign in her irrritation. "Only if you are going to explain exactly what just happened. Amd this had better be good."
He wouldn't meet her eyes, but he answered her questions. "The Crusnik inside me took over. You were right, I was wounded in the collapse, and it wasn't just the shoulder injury that you saw, a normal human would have died before you dug me out. It left me so weak that when I let my gaurd down, it gave them the chance to take control, so they could seek to repair the damage."
Asthe continued to stare at him, even though he never looked back at her. "And they were going to do that how, no, why? They would still be trapped along with us."
Guilt washed over his face again. "When they take over, it's all about what they want; strength, domination and destruction. If they restored my body by... sigh, I'm perfectly fit now, and if I change back into that form, I could probably dig us out of here."
Asthe was surprised with how forthcomming he was being, and how confident he was in his strength to go so far as saying he could free them. Yet he still said little about what she most desperatly wanted to know.
"But... how is any of this possible. Tell me what you really are. You can't be a normal Terran, not inside at least. But you cannot be a methuselah, I have seen you walk in the suns light with my own eyes, and have also seen you wounded with silver, but not been poisend. And then there's..."
She subconciously raised her hand the the marks he'd left on her throat. They were already shrinking, and would be gone within the hour, but everything she knew of the world told her they never should have existed in the first place.
A sad smile played across Abel's face, the kind that Asthe had only ever caught half second glimpses of before. "Where should I begin... I am a Crusnik, a vampire amoung vampire's...
The End... Or is it?
I don't plan on adding anything to this, but if any of the four or five people who read this in the next ten years want to add to it, go for it. (noooo, of course i don't have insecurity issues :-} )
Please rate/comment. As mentioned at the top, this is my noobie pride and fears at stake here, very serious indeed.
Hope you enjoyed it.
