In the Shadow - Chapter One

Katsushiro has experienced his first, second, and now third kiss. The first from before he became a samurai given to him by a village girl he had a crush on. His first crush. The second was stolen from Kirara. But in truth he was the thief. He loved her, but she did not reciprocate his feelings. And now, his third has been taken from him. He isn’t the thief this time nor does he know if he truly wants this – its all unexpected. Something he never would have imagined to happen when he had approached his/the most admirable person.
Kyuzo-dono. He was leaning above his face, his lips pressed tightly against his own, his hands pressing just as tightly against his shoulders, holding him in place. So even if he found this to be what he didn’t want (which he did … he thinks) he wouldn’t be able to run. Not with that much strength pressed down on his limbs. And when his lips were suddenly empty and a breathless gasp came through them, he wasn’t sure he could muster the strength to move.
“Ah … Kyuzo-dono, why?” The question was the only thing in the air besides the thinning intensity between their bodies. He wanted an answer – he needed it. In order to go any further, he needed to know what was inside the red samurai’s mind. But would Kyuzo answer him?
The building intensity between their bodies quickly dissipated, and so did Kyuzo’s presence. The red clothed samurai gave a short huff and walked away.
“Kyuzo-dono?” Katsushiro blushed at the whimpering tone of his voice. He reached out, hoping to grab his thief, but only caught the after image of the experienced samurai.
