Books and things

It's the last day of April in Magnolia and the weather is at it's best. It's sunny and warm, but not too hot. I'm currently sitting in the new Fairy Tail guild hall at the bar with my best friend Lucy Heartfilia. We are discussing her latest chapter of her novel, I'm giving her notes and editing it for her. 
    Maybe I should introduce myself, my name is Levy McGarden. I am a solid script mage, part of the Fairy Tail Guild. I am easily the smallest woman in Fairy Tail. I'm 5'0" with shoulder length blue hair that I keep tied back with a bandana.  I'm part of team Shadowgear with two of my best friends Jet and Droy. 
    "Alright, girl I gotta get a job. Rent is due soon, " I told Lucy handing her novel back to her. She nodded to me not really paying attention to what I was saying, but to the notes I left for her novel. I rolled my eyes and walk to the request board to see if anything would work out for me. I have to do this job solo. Jet got sick, who in turn got Droy sick. I stayed away in order to not get sick. But that also means that I have to work by myself.
    As I'm browsing the board a shadow falls over me and i turn around to see what, or who it is. 
    It's Gajeel Redfox. "Whats up, Gajeel," I ask him.
    "Your friends are sick so I was gonna see if you needed help on your next job."
    "That would be great! Do you and Lily want to help me pick out a mission," I ask excited that I'm not going to be alone.
    "Lily is busy the next few days so it'll just be us. How about this one?" He grabs one that needs someone to translate some anceint texts for them for 350,000 jewel in Clover Town. 
    "That would be great for me, but it'll probably get boring for you. I doubt you'll get to hit anything," I giggle at him.
    He smirks at me, "Don't worry I'll make sure I stay occupied. How long do you think this job will take?"
    "It'll take one full day by train to get there another 3-4 for me to finish all the translations then another day on the train to get back. So I would say a week. That gives us one day to get situated before I start."
    At just the mention of a train Gajeel turns green. This is going to be fun. " Meet me at the train station tomorrow morning." I walk over to Mira and show her the flyer for the job.
    She gives me a knowing look, "So you and Gajeel are going on a job together, huh. Alone."
    I roll my eyes at her. Sometimes Mira can be impossible. She's always trying to play match maker with the people of the guild. So far her match making skills have only worked on one couple. Lucy and Natsu. They haven't been together long but they are perfect together. Although, if I'm going to be honest I wish Gajeel would look at me the way Natsu looks at Lucy.  
     I head to my apartment in Fairy Hills to get packed for my upcoming mission. While I'm packing I let my mond wander to what could happen during this mission. With it being just me and Gajeel, I want to tell him how I feel. Sometimes I think he feels the same way, other times I can't really tell. Either way I'll never know until I say something. I lay down on my bed with a book and next thing I know I'm waking up and it's 7am.
    I grab my stuff and head to the train station to meet up with Gajeel. I get there and he's not there yet, so I sit down with a book and wait. A few minutes later I feel a tug on my hair and look up to see Gajeel looking down at me.
