GOOD GODDESS! What's next??
Have been following this one for quite some time, and it only gets juicier. Beautifully written; evokes some serious emotion, wonderful images... lovely. Came to really LIKE Mugen and Jin, and how they seemed to fit in their roles this time. I think this could be the most I've liked Mugen thus far! Awaiting updates with seriously baited breath. =D

Ayy, muy bueno! :-D Although I like Jin, I see it fitting for him to die. He's a samurai, therefore it is an honorable thing for him to do AND, since he's in love, it's the ultimate sacrifice that he is willing to pay. Nicely done!

Hmm...well, it's a well-crafted story, but my only complaint is the whole romance aspect. It's rather cliche with its execution - if I'm not being too harsh - since I pretty much was able to guess exactly what was coming next the whole way through. As soon as she fell for Jin and chose Mugen, it was SO obvious that their relationship was doomed. I also didn't particularly like how you depicted Mugen as a deceitful crum bum, even though he's very girl-crazy and crude. His character may be crass, but he IS capable of committment when he's in love - sure, he'll keep up his bad boy facade, but I seriously doubt that he would continue seeing Yatsuha if he truly cared about Fuu as he seemed to in the beginning of the story. That, and I felt that the whole 'bumping Fuu's head against Jin's lip' was a tad out of place since I had to reread it to make sure it was actually there...it was just a tad odd, is all. Jin's whole 'possible death' wasn't too surprising, either since dramatic romances typically have the two lovers finally make love, only to have one of them offed in the near future. Hopefully you won't go completely according to plan and make Fuu commit suicide to join her lover in limbo - far too Romeo and Julietesque for my taste, but I don't think you'll do that. If Jin DOES die, you'll more than likely have Fuu be bitter for years, only to slowly turn back to Mugen. Since the story's close to ending, that doesn't seem like too far off a guess, but meh, hopefully I'm wrong.

Now that I've bashed the hell out of you, I'll now focus on what's good, since that's what true constructive criticism should be. I liked the beginning chapters the most since the tension between the trio was quite wonderful. It was also doubly enjoyable to see how Mugen and Jin began to take notice in Fuu's change into womanhood and began to feel desires that they tried to ignore. It was also very nice how you intertwined actual history in with the story to make it more believable and an all-around well-likeable story. If I were rooting for Fuu/Jin I most definitely would be beyond ecstatic by this point (save for the whole possible death factor, of course), but alas, I am on the side of the underdog (how fitting of a title for my poor Mugen), so all I can truly do is sit on my tush and wait for the most-likely full-blown depressing onslaught of your next update. Please be gentle with me, though, because I don't know how much more angst I can take - we late teens have far enough of that. :-P

I was a Mugen x Fuu fan, a devoted one too. But you converted me! How dare you! Actually, I love this fic so much I just had to thank you for writing it. It's entertained me since I first found it and I'm still excited for the next chapter. But, I swear if Jin's killed off...Ah! Please, no! My heart can't take it! *sob*

I've been thinking, and my negative comments were not merited at all, and for that I apologize. I think I was on crack (as a matter of speaking, of course, considering I've never touched the stuff, let alone seen it ^^) when I wrote that, so yeah - sorry. I'm just well-rooted in my feelings that Fuu is far too immature for Jin, I suppose, even though she's matured since she's actually grown up in your fic. Now that you've written this part, though, I feel that perhaps you had them have sex because he's going to die?? That typically happens...or...that's how I'd do it, hehe. In the book I'm writing it's kind of like that, except there's no other man, so it's an easy choice. :)

Um...well that sucks. ^-^ I noticed that AFF favors Mugen and ff.net favors Jin...I guess because we naughty people over here love the naughty boy and the clean little 'yaaay, they're in loooove!' people love Mr. Clean. :) Hm, Jin's not bald, yet I just called him Mr. Clean...because...he's clean. So what, there's like 2, 3 more chapters?? I'm still trying to get over the fact that little Ms. Fuu just did the dirty deed with Jin. Then if she's taking Fish Face, can I take Shaggy?? ^_^ There's a double entendre with that nickname, btw ... mwuahaha. Although I prefer Fuu with Mugen, I definitely prefer it even MORE with him x moi. :) So yeah, since you made all the ff.net people all gushy, you need to make us gushy again...perhaps in another fic or something?? ^ ^ Because we DO need more fics on here like yours, but make sure this one's happy so I don't feel depressed and want to beat my head against my desk. I actually guessed she'd lay Jin first anyway since I saw your other fics and Jin laid her in those, so yeah...someone's biased. ;-P Just remind me not to have my first time in a dark room with cloth, let alone just after I decided that I didn't want my other boy toy, 'cause that's just cruel and heartless. ~Hits Fuu for being a schwitzlebugger~

Nice, but I think I'm going to go cry and then read some nummy little Fuugen fics for a while. :) 'Cause...well...Mugen's my home boy and he needs some lovin', too, that's NOT from Yatsuha. Gosh, I don't know why she bugs me, but she does - I need a life. :P I'm currently listening to the RENT soundtrack, so heck yeah, I'm super melancholy now! First songs about death, and now this depressing update! By this point I'd be happiest with Fuu picking neither of them - they're both being annoying pricks. Why, you ask?? Well Mugen's is obvious: he cheated on her, which I think you did to effectively make us hate him, but I still love him. ^^ heehee Jin...well...he kept mentioning how he wanted Fuu and blah blah blah, and I'm sorry, but if a woman needs time, she needs TIME!! That, and the last thing she wants is to be forced into choosing so quickly - it's a delicate process. I'm sort of speaking from experience, but Lord, it wasn't THIS complicated. Haha, now I'm listening to "This Is How A Heart Breaks" - how frickin' appropriate. :) -scans over review- Daggone, I was rough - I need to get over myself. OUCH LOL I'M SURPRISED MUGEN TOOK IT SO WELL - MY ONLY COMPLAINT CHARACTER-WISE IS THAT MUGEN REALLY REALLY did SEEM TO CARE A WHOLE LOT FOR FUU IN THE BEGINNING, LIKE TO THE POINT OF 'AWW, HE'S IN LUFF! LOL' BUT THEN ALL OF A SUDDEN IT'S LIKE FUU WAS A STITCH IN HIS SIDE, AND THEN HE CAUGHT FUU AND JIN AND JUST MAKES A CRACK ABOUT IT?? I knew they were gonna screw - jeez, at least pick a better place. -_-' lol I'm sure it was just gorgeous, but I couldn't bring myself to read the lemon cuz I began feeling woozy, as I do when a pairing I don't prefer takes over - I'm such a nerd, hahaha. I like them when they're all "aww" and hugging as in Jin's being Fuu's shoulder to cry on, but otherwise it's really hard to see. You do a good job of it, of course, but yeah...ignore me! I'm just going off on a tangent since things haven't been going my way recently. And is it evil of me to say I don't really care what happens to Jin?? lol >:P

Aawww, poor Mugen...if that mean 'ol Fuu won't love you, I will! -hugs tightly- He doesn't really love Yatsuha...wth's there to love?? o_O lol And if Fuu gets with Jin I'll laugh, because something tells me he'd say "hn" and "ah" in bed, too. XD ROTFL I'll stick to Mr. Rough and Exciting, thank you. ^.^
