It feels so wrong to laugh at your own stuff, especially when I don't set out to be funny, I just write whatever comes to write. Then you quote them and I'm in bits. I roar with laughter, then stop and go, 'Ermmm, I wrote this' and blush. XD Oh dear...

First of all, BEST QUOTE EVER to end this chapter with. XD As for other quotes I liked:

"Shit, I've got fucking powder on my lense. Oh. I haven't it's just a bit of fluff." Mello stepped back.

Ahahahaaaa! XDDDD I love that. Sounds so real life to me.

Matt shook his head. "It doesn't seem like yesterday when you were adamant that you weren't gay; that this isn't love and that you were only shagging me out of pity. You wouldn't even hold my hand in public, let alone do the dirty in the middle of a carpark with an audience. Oh! How the tide turns."

Exactly what I think every time I reread the early fics in this series.

"So you're not shagging me over the car?"

"No. I'm solving this case."

Ahahahaa! XD I just like that question AND response.

"Of course you can, Matty. But we're going to assume that whoever set this up hasn't got your anally retentive obsession with all things technical; and almost certainly hasn't got your genius backing it up."

Yes! Mello's life is complete. He can win at Mah Jong! Woot! He's also started me on a Mah Jong addiction. I chose the game because I remember receiving a Mah Jong board game when I was about five. I couldn't make head nor tail of it, so it lodged in my head as A Very Hard Game. That's why I shoved it in here, as I figured that Mello would play Very Hard Games. Of course, I then had to find an on-line version to see what it was all about. I've been playing it ever since. :D

Can you imagine trying to think of something to buy Mello for his birthday? The boy's loaded. He could buy anything he wanted for himself. -.-

LOL re the lamp. Yes, I can just hear Mello saying that. *blinks* You like camp Mello, I'd have never guessed. LOL

You should have heard me giggling as I wrote the brownie scene. I could just picture it too well.

You get the gist of the Spanish? Good. Yes, I love Nine Lives, who translated that and just about every other Spanish in this series. Filthy mouth, that Mello... *shakes head in sorrow at ill-mannered youths*

So God picks your clothes too? Maybe I ought to become a Christian. My deities make me choose my own clothes. -.-

The main thing to know about football in Britain is that it's a religion. We get very passionate about our football. :D

Nine Lives:

If Mello wasn't gay, I'd love to write MelloxHal. They would be the most explosive couple ever! At least in my version they would be.

I know! Outsideness! LOL That could well be the only moment in my stories where Mello isn't either wearing the leather motorcycle vest or is naked. No, hold on, there was a bit in ATWH where he had the zip thing on.

Matt not smoking makes me twitch.

Yes, Manchester United and Manchester City are the two big league ones. It is absolutely killing me that I haven't got Mello supporting my own team, but that would be so Mary-Sueish. There is no reason at all that Mello would support my lot. They lose too many matches. ;_;

I can't see Mello joining any teams, but I can see him putting them on to kick his football around the back yard. :D

He checked. The exact boot that he was touching was in his own size. It was a sign from God.
That's exactly how I felt about this shirt I'm wearing right now. XD I picked it up, it was my size, so I bought it. XDDD haha

His pie was nearly gone. "How do you eat so much and still look like a refugee from a concentration camp?"

Matt paused mid-mouthful and scowled. "Fuck off."
XDDDD I love Mello. That's an awfully specific way of saying "and still look so thin". XDDD

"I got you a hot chocolate with a Baileys in it. I came very close to getting you a K�stritzer Schwarzbier, because the blarb said it's a beer that tastes chocolate-y." He smiled, licking his Rizla. "But that would put hairs on your chest and you'd cry, so I got you a girly drink instead."
Mello doesn't do chest hair. XDDDD

Not that I know anything about soccer and stadiums or anything like that sports related at all -failure- but, seeing Mello be cute always makes me smile. x3 Matt and Mello going on dates = the cutest thing ever!! :D

Aaah! Yes now I get it. It did help.
I speak fluent spanish, since it's my native tongue and all that, but I never use it to speak pervertedly, since I only use it to talk with my mom, so that's why that last part was lost on me. So I get it now. Thank you so much for explaining it. ^____^

I can answer that, Saigo ^^
In Spanish we use the verb "correr", that usually means "run" to say "cum", the same way you use "come" in English.
Well, it's usually a reflexive use of thet verb, it'd be "se corri�" (he came) and not only "corri�" (that'd be, indeed, "he ran").

Enjoyed this chapter. Just a quick question. What are you trying to say here.
"Usarte hasta que grites de placer y te corras por toda la fina decoraci�n de este hotel tan elegante.""
It doesn't make sense to me. Mainly the part after 'and', he wants Matt to run away for all the fine decorations of the hotel? Thats how I understood it and it makes no sense to what else had been said.

THIS CHAPTER MADE ME SMILE LOADS!

Matt personally didn't care where they ended up as long as it had WiFi, but five stars lessened the number of things that Mello could find to whinge about.

Sounds like Mello. XD hehe "Maaaaatt, this hotel sucks." "Why?" "...that lamp. It's just so...so tacky."

"Yes please." Mello breathed. Matt glanced back. His husband was radiating camp. His whole stance simpered. "Thank you."

CAMP MELLO! -fangirl happiness- MY FAVORITE! (Like you totally didn't know that. I know. It's shocking.)

Matt stared at him. What he wanted to say was that Mello had been oozing testosterone for weeks. For the rest of the country, football was one of the great bastians of masculinity, yet Mello had put on a football strip and immediately got in touch with his feminine side.

HAHAHAHA! Leave it to Mello. Not that I'm complaining. heehee :D

The blond had devoured most of the brownie, but the end protruded from between his lips and was sucked in the second he saw Matt looking. "You're a fucking pricktease, you are."

Best. Mental. Image. Ever.

He followed Mello into the lift. "You were only in America for a couple of year and you still come out with the odd Americanism. In fact, you still have a slight American accent."

Mello having an American accent makes me smile. XD Since I hear it every day. And this lady at the mall today talked to me in a slight British accent and that made me smile too. XD I just have a lot of UK orientated thoughts since reading this fic. XD And I guess I'm just depressed 'cause I can't imitate any accents at all. D: No fun.

"I could at least take on your random internet German bloke at the Mah Jong. I'm assuming you won the last round."

Of course Mello won. He's a genius!

"You see!" Matt beamed. "Your life isn't a total failure!"

And Matt certainly makes it better. XD You don't suck at online games, Mello! There's always that! hehe

"Matt, tell me that you didn't contact the Spanish government to tell them what happened to you."

Matt rolled his eyes. "I won't dignify that with a response."

hahahahhahaha Oh Matt! The fact Mello even suspects you is silly, but I don't know. I can just see Matt refusing to answer. x3

Matt blinked. "Huh?"

Hal tutted. "Matt, why is it that I always have to resist the urge to speak slowly and loudly with you? Please just give me some ideas. He's a very difficult man to buy for."

For one, MAJOR LOL at slowly and loudly. XD I love Hal. For two, OMG YAYYYYYYY! She wants to buy Mello a birthday gift! Love love love love!!! It makes me super happy! Oh I love Halle! hehe
