I was all over your stuff for a while, but then I fell off for a bit. I have to say, coming back and reading the rest of your stuff was fucking refreshing. You, my dear, are officially one of my favorite MxM writers. I went back and re-read My Own Way after finishing this one and the way in which they've grown (For example: Mello going from FUCK YOU I'M NOT GAY to pretty much renouncing the church for Matt was a huge step) and have come to recognize each other so deeply that when one is about to fall off, the other one pretty much catches on right away.

It's fangirlish to say, but I'm sad to read that you're not planning a sequel to this. I guess you could say "But how long could it possibly go on for?"

Pfft, forever.

Also, I just grabbed the album you have linked in My Own Way and Furious Angels is indeed a beautiful song. Nice choice. :) Can't wait to read more from you, whenever you decide to write.

So.... I read your stories a couple of months ago, and I finally got around to making an account on this site just today... a few minutes ago, and figured that I should probably come here and kiss the ground you walk on. *smooches ground* You. Are. Amazing.

If it weren't for you, I would have been BORED TO TEARS with my leg injury. Second degree burns, go figure. I have actually completely and utterly confused your stories with canon before with my other DN fans and got smacked for it - it was worth it. They got really pissed off at me the time I tried to convince them that I knew the other kids in the Wammy house and started describing them in detail.

I have actually never been inclined to read a Mello/Matt story before (I'm more for Matt/Mello or Mello/Near or L/Light etc.), but your stories have converted me. You have made me a believer in Mello/Matt, and trust me, it's not an easy thing to do.

I can't wait for whatever you decide to write next and will constantly check up on your stories to see what you've updated. Thank you SO much for what you've already written and I look forward to the future.

Yes, this is now the end of the 4000 hits ty (5 part -.-) one-shot.

I'm glad that you liked this whole arc. I thought I was going to get lynched over Lamond LOL.

There are still no plans for a sequel, but I'm catching up on a load of one-shots. There's also a 'How to Read...' type thing coming out. Me and some of the others are working on it at the moment. It's looking very sexy. *grins* There's a potential prequel, in that someone's asked me to do a Wammy's House era romance between Mello and Matt. However, it wouldn't be a true sequel, because my Mello was too freaked out by his religion to really do anything about fancying Matt before their reunion post-Wammy's.

Hnm: I'm sorry that this chapter disappointed you. I had it planned for much earlier, as part of The Mello Code proper, hence I think it's really hit people hard coming in the middle of all that fluff. I'd dropped hints early on, for example, Hal telling Mello that Lamond's really ill, then never ran with it. I thought it would make an already complicated story even more so. I can assure you, though, that the chapter wasn't intentionally written to make Mello look bad. He knew when he went there that he was probably too late. That might be clarified more in the 4000 hits TY story.

As for early stories, I agree with you that Mello was an ass. I hadn't got a handle on him at all in 'It Matters', while 'My Own Way' had to take us to the place where 'It Matters' began. He's therefore a little more violent than I now think he is in canon. (I hadn't sussed at the time that he never actually kills anyone with his own hands in the canon.) However, he is 20/21 and I think we can be/were a little immature at that age. He is so in canon, particularly pre-scar, though I like to think that I have him maturing a little by the time we get to the Wataris and The Mello Code.

I usually love everything you write (I must have read It Matters two dozen times) even if sometimes I feel like you make Mello out to be more of an ass than he needs to be. This time I was a little disappointed. It seemed like you killed Lamond just to prove that every time Mello acts like a human being it just backfires in his face. I was so happy with how he spoke to her and helped her see that she needed to recover, I think that you had both their motivations for their actions right on, but I feel like it would have been more powerful to leave it at that. Again, I mean no disrespect and I think you're an amazing author. Maybe I'm just taking this all to heart and maybe I'm completely wrong. Feel free to flame me all you want I just wanted to express my opinion.

I think it was directed at both of us, though more you. LOL It was sad that they didn't allow photographs. :( Nope, Mello was struggling on the uke thing, which is strange, because Matt told him that one ages ago. Matt must read more internet yaoi. I'm glad that you enjoyed it. :D

2000 hits one: yay! That is so funny about the coat!

3000 hits one: {{{{hugs}}}} This one should have come much earlier on. I'm glad that it's finally out there, but yes, I know it was a bit shocking. The circumstances in which you read it though make me glad that I posted it and kept the ending. It might not be you, but it might be someone reading. Anorexia is not glamorous. I'm looking forward to seeing your doodle. :D

This is such a surprising chapter. Right before I came down to the computer, I checked myself on the scale, which I rarely do in all honestly, but noticed I gained quite a bit of weight. I had a good couple minutes of some inner self-loathing, then went to check my MangaBullet and saw this was updated. I was excited to learn it was about Lamond, since I've always had a soft spot for her, and ironically her problem of anorexia.

The whole chapter was so heart felt and in some ways quite amusing to me. I promised myself I was gonna draw a doodle of Mello and Lamond gossiping and putting on make up. xD And then I read the end, which honestly shocked the hell out of me, biggest shock the whole entire fanfic in fact. I actually cried a bit.

Great chapter, though I feel so depressed now! haha Rest in Peace, Lamond.

Honestly, as big as I'm into innuendo, at first I totally didn't get this. -failure- xDDD I was like, "Matt likes nu... oh I get it. -.-" xDDDDD I love Mello!

"Coat!" Matt grinned, pointing to a garment that seemed very familiar to Mello. It was similar to that worn by Neo in the Matrix films. Mello stared from it to him. Matt held up a sleeve. "Sleeves."

I HAD to laugh at this part because ironically enough, about a month ago, my grandma forced my sister and I to get new winter coats. Jenn got a red one since it reminded her of Mello, and I got this long black one just because it was something I'd like. xD When I started wearing it, Jenn said I looked like Neo. -.- She wanted us to take cosplay pics that way, pretending to dodge bullets in a Matrix style. So it makes me LOL that this came up in this fic. xDDDD Now I feel like doing it and posting pictures. (Though mine is real leather, Mello will be happy to know. :P)

First of all, 'Have a fucking cat.' I love you Matt! xDDDD And I laughed so hard. And you can tell Phil that his real name is much to hard for me to pronounce. Just blame it on me being American. So I'm going to continue to call him Phil. And tell Mello to come take it up the arse soon, because I'm expecting to see it now. :D And I laughed quite a bit. xDDDDDD Matt and Mello are the funniest, I swear. hehe

If I'm not wrong, Matt knew the meaning of "uke" but Mello didn't? ROFL

Also, Near was boring >.< But of course I don't know why I was expecting anything more from the little weirdo... as if he'd ever been any fun.
