First off I’d like to say I am so happy I could stumble upon this fan fiction. Very rarely do I find something of this quality at AFF.

When I started ‘My, My, Imai!’ I had not expected to find I would fall in love with this beautifully told love story. For me the whole situation was a stretch since I was a big fan of the manga and have been for the most part caught up with the story up in to the most recent chapters. So for me for the roster to be someone other than Kureno and Akito to be an older brother was going the take a lot of convincing. The writhing style wasn’t something I was used to either and I thought I could never get in to it. But once I started read I was hooked and you had no trouble making me believe all of these things were possible. Each and every one of the Sohma seem so human and so real you feel as though you are struggling with them as they struggle through each boring confined day. The pace of the story is perfect. I don’t feel I’m being rushed through the plot and you’ve created such wonderful suspense in a subtle way, I was at the edge of my seat and did even notice until I changed chapters.

Original character stories are always my favorite but recently I have found that people are starting to care lees about a good character and more about creating Mary-sue type characters with little substance but with this story that is not the case. Imai is a really amazing character with many flaws that make her so endearing. You feel bed for her situation and realize that she has little control in her day to day life she is a beautiful caged bird in a golden cage never aloud to fulfill her potential. I like that she take chance but isn’t bold, she’s shy and lonely hoping she can just make through the day just to see Hatori. Watching her change little by little has been amazing.

I guess what I’ve been trying to tell you is I love ‘My, My, Imai!’ and I hoped you’ve posted it all over so others may enjoy it. Though I took a blind leap of faith for me to star reading I found one I did I couldn’t stop and by the last chapter I was biting my nails and getting butterflies myself just like Imai and Hatori. It was a great experience and even I for some unbelievable reason you wouldn’t get another review I hope mine brightens your day just a little.

    Keep Up the Creativity,
