Yes! It's been awhile since I've found a good lemon. Mmmmmm.... peppermint oil. *snicker* Oh, that was good. Gotta have my daily dose of citrus. <3

You know, I read this story months ago over at ff.net, and I've never forgotten it. There's just a very special *feeling* to this that has found a permanent place in my heart. It's very warm, and yet at the same time refreshingly free of anything that I would label as sap or fluff. It just simply feels so *real*. It also plays out very well, with each scene blending into the next, carrying along with it that sense of sadness over impending seperation. The unopened letter hangs over our heads the whole way through, and even the end is touching without being overdone. Maybe that's it... there is no fancy melodrama here, just life lived as it is. And I must say, your Sanzo and Goku are wonderful in this story, just being themselves. Thank you, and long live 393!
