I love this. I swear I've read it somewhere before...but every time I read it, it punches me in the gut. You have really captured the angst of a forbidden relationship and drawn the reader in. I'm really impressed. I look forward to reading more.

This was a very well written piece that managed to keep me in doubt as to what Aya's choice would be until the very last sentence. That tight, queasy feeling in my stomach where I actually worry if it is going to turn out all right is a sign that you have engaged me as a reader and made me care about the characters and even care about the situation. Thanks for such a nice gift. Please leave it right where it is. It's just perfect!
