Ah! I thought I remembered seeing this a few pages back on AFF. I came to the conclusion a few days ago that ResterxNear would be adorable and seems more likely to me than MelloxNear, and then had an aha! moment where I recalled your summary. This was a very cute oneshot! Er. Well, it was. The bit where Rester had first touched Near and looked to him and you had Near just looking aside and playing with his hair-- so classically Near. Also the end, with the "Well done."-- that made me grin... and how awkward but enthusiastic Rester was written. So. Kudos!

Thank you for sharing your 'guilty pleasure' I've never seen a fic for these two, but if you ever write more I wouldn't hesitate to read it.
