Whoa. I was incredibly surprised with how this story progressed; the depth was quite unexpected. Actually, normally I can't stand when authors distinguish between Light and Kira because I'm strongly of the opinion that Light already possessed all of Kira's attributes before finding the Death Note, but just didn't have the opportunities open to him that the Death Note opened up to him, but this is just too good and strongly portrays Light's inner struggle. I really do love the various dreams, the Kira/L situation, and the final "showdown" between Light and Kira. Bookmarked for future re-reading.

This is... I'm not sure about the right word, I'll just settle for AMAZING, although it is not nearly enough to describe it... My favorite scene is the one bewtween Light and Kira, but everything was so bautifully-written, so intense, and very in-character. Excellent, really!
