Wonderful! It was a traditional premise, but the build-up and character reactions were absolutely splendid to read! They all felt so natural considering the situation they were thrown into. I especially loved Gojyos side commentary as it felt absolutely in brand for him. Also Hakkais suffering throughout all of this was a stunningly entertaining read and seeing him at points simply wish for death over doing anything against Sanzos wishes was so in character to him. Thank you so much for this fan fiction! It was something I never knew I needed.

Very good story. Kind of sad too. I think you have good feel for their characters. Sanzo is such a hard case & you portray him well here.

You know, I really enjoyed this fic, you might want to consider making a sequel. Maybe they wouldn't mind doing it again without the help of a potion. *winks*
