One Simple Wish

Wish Upon a Star

By Jay Kamiya (AKA Yami Jay)

Note: This is my long shot St Seiya fic. I’m introducing my OC, Aurore. It’s an after Hades fic. Don’t worry, you’ll see what’s going on with this. I just hope that my idea will not go nuts. I will also use the descriptions of the Saints from the anime. And I’m also including some couples… Some yaoi, some het.

Also:
// …// = Telepatic talking

Disclaimer: I do not own St Seiya or the characters. They are own by Masami Kurumada. I only own Aurore.

Prologue

A young girl was watching the stars from her small house’s window. It’s been a few months since she felt some of her friends energy died. She knew they were dead, fighting for their Goddess.

She untied her aquamarine hair with strawberry blond stripes. Her now untied hair reached her small waist. She looked at the starry sky and sighed. She saw a shooting start.

Aurore: A shooting star… I make a wish on a shooting star; please make my big brother and his friends come back to life. I miss them so much.

She finally stopped looking and went to bed, not knowing that someone had heard her wish.

Chapter 1: One Simple Wish

It had been a long day for the 18 years old French girl. Ever since she had moved back to Paris, her parents had begged her to stop her martial art classes and put their daughter in a private college, so that she could learn something appropriate for a change. She was wearing her school uniform; a black skirt with a white blouse and a red tie. She had a blue coat over her white blouse and she was wearing black knee length socks.

Aurore was not in a good mood after the first day at her school; she had arrived on time but it seems that many of her classmates disliked her. In lunchtime, one of the guys tried to make a move on her. That really made her wanting to freeze the guy to death, but she just gave him a death glare and an icy cold warning. So now, she was mostly the unpopular girl and the one to fear. Good, she didn’t need them.

She was in front of the house she shared with her parents. She knew that her parents were going to have a long talk about her attitude at her new school. She sighed this time; it was time like these she wished she was in Siberia or at Sanctuary with her big brother and her true friends.

She entered the house and putted her shoes near the entrance. She decided that putting her school bag before seeing her parents. She hated them; they always thought that her big brother was an idiot, which was a lie in her eyes. She got to her room to only see a small letter her bed. She looked at it; she would recognize the small scribbles that belonged to Hyoga, her big brother’s pupil. She quickly opened it and read it; he was doing fine and he wished she could visit him in Japan. She sighed; her parents would never allow her that. She putted her bag next to her desk and the letter in a drawer. It was time to go see her parents, as much as she hated it.

She got down stairs and went to see her parents. They were in the leaving room, chatting about some current events. As soon as she stepped in the room, her mother looked at her with a disapproving glare. Her beautiful red hair made her flaming blue eyes more noticeable. Her mother was a beautiful woman, but she was rotten in the inside, never shown any respect to her children or anyone to that matter.

Alice: Young lady, I’ve received some words of your behavior at school. I am very disappointed by the way you acted toward some of your follow students.
Aurore: Like you care anyway.
Henri: Aurore! You better show some respect to your mother!

Henri, her father, was very much like her wife; beautiful, but severe. He had shoulder length dark blue hair with aquamarine eyes. He looked like an aristocrat, even if she knew that he was nothing like the nobles in history. He glared at his daughter, but she didn’t even flitch. She just glared back.

Henri: Like your mother, I am very disappointed by your lack of discipline.
Aurore: More likely because I don’t act like you; snob and telling a bunch of lies.
Alice: AURORE!
Aurore: What?
Alice: You little… You are so much like your older brother; an idiot that doesn’t respect authorities!
Aurore: DON’T YOU DARE SPEAK OF BIG BROTHER LIKE THAT!!!!!
Alice: I will speak of him the way I want. He died for nothing…
Aurore: HE DIED TO PROTECT THIS WORLD!!!! YOU DON’T UNDERSTAND WHAT THIS MEANS!!!
Henri: He…
Camus: He what father?

The argument between the three members of the family stopped when they heard the voice they never thought they would hear again; Camus was standing near the living room entrance, glaring at his parents. He was wearing a pair of black pants with a white button shirt that had the two first buttons unbutton, which you could see a small chain with a silver cross around his neck. He was wearing black shoes. He had tied his long aquamarine hair in a low ponytail.

Aurore couldn’t believe it; her big brother was right there, next to her and alive. She looked at him; she could feel that tears were coming.

Aurore: Big brother? Is that really you?
Camus: Yes… I came back to see you.

Tears were now falling and Aurore couldn’t restrain herself anymore; she hugged her brother and she cried. Camus had a small, gentle smile and hugged her back. He glared at his parents; he despised them as much as Aurore was; they never understood the siblings.

Alice: I thought you were dead for that cause of yours.
Camus: Oh I was! Let’s just say that someone gave me and my fellow Saints a second chance.
Alice: How…Reassuring.
Henri: And why aren’t you back to that place of yours?
Camus: Because I came to get Aurore back with me, since you obviously don’t care much for her. She’s better off with me.
Alice: There is no way she is coming back with you to that fliffy place you call home! She will receive the best education to become a diplomat!
Camus: Too bad, I’ve already managed, with the help of Saori Kido, to get her out of here. *at Aurore* Get your things, we are leaving.

Aurore just nodded and got to her room. She took her travel bag and putted it on the bed; she put her training cloths, some books, her sketchbook, some pencils, her walkman and her tapes. She also got her brush, toothbrush and what she needed to take care of herself. She quickly looked around if she needed anything; she took with her some casual clothes that she like and putted it in the travel bag. She was set, she opened her drawer and took all the letters she had; some were from Milo and others from Hyoga. She gave one last look to her bedroom before heading down stairs; she could hear her parents yelling. She got back and saw her father yelling to an indifferent Camus. She could see that her brother was using his training very well.

Henri: You are a fool if you think I’ll let you my only heir!
Camus: You don’t have a choice in this matter father. Everything has been already arranged that Aurore is coming with me. She will live it me at Sanctuary, but will have the possibility to go to a school in Athens. You don’t have a say in this.
Henri: You think you…
Camus: I already got away with this.
Aurore: Good thing too. I’m ready to leave big brother.
Camus: Good. * to his parents* Good bye.

Both of the siblings left the house, leaving their parents very angry. A few minutes later, they were now near a park where they used to go when they were very young. Camus looked around and Aurore noticed.

Aurore: Camus, who are you searching for?
Camus: A friend of mine… He is the one who’s giving us our ride to Sanctuary…
Mu: You are searching for me?

Camus and Aurore turned and saw the young Tibetan looking at them; Aurore recognized Mu also immediately. He looked as calm as she remembered, but this time, he was wearing more casual clothes; a pair of light brown pants with a long sleeve white shirt and brown shoes. He had his hair tied the usual way he had.

Camus: Sorry it took so long Mu…
Mu: It’s okay. I imagine that the little family gathering didn’t go well.
Aurore: I’m sure you can guess what happen.
Mu: Yes… And I’m glad to see you Aurore. It’s been quite a while since the last time I saw you.
Aurore: The same goes to you. Shall we go now?
Mu: Yes. Now, I want both of you to hold on to me, I will teleport us back to Sanctuary.
Aurore: Alright… I just hope that I won’t have the same accident then last time…
Camus: What accident?
Aurore: Nevermind…
Mu: Let’s go.

The three young people teleported from Paris to Sanctuary.

* Sanctuary *

The Bronze Saints were with Milo and Aiolia, waiting for Camus and Mu to come back with the new resident of Sanctuary. The young Saints were asking to them who it was, but none of them were going to give up the information. Milo only mention that Hyoga would recognize the person immediately. Now, they were waiting.

Seiya: I really wonder who this person is and why Saori allow him to stay here!
Aiolia: You’ll see Seiya, but I’m warning you; don’t provoke this person.
Seiya: He’s strong?
Milo: * smirk* We could say that…
Aiolia: Depends on his mood…
Shiryu: Mood swings?
Milo: * tries not to laugh* Again, I wonder if he has mood swings.
Aiolia: Milo, shut up.
Shun: This person must be close to the Gold Saints if it took almost all of you to convince Saori to let him stay here.
Milo: Oh that… Let’s just say we had good arguments for that.
Aiolia: Mostly Mu and Shaka did that part.
Milo: And Camus. The guy was desperate to get that person here.
Hyoga: Don’t tell me it’s…

He couldn’t finish his phrase when they saw the trio arrived; they could see that one of them was not happy and the other two were trying not to look and the latter person. Milo couldn’t help himself to laugh at the sight. Aurore was covered in dust and mud.

Milo: What happen to you?
Aurore: Oh shut up Milo! Just the same thing that happen last time I teleport somewhere else! * glares at Mu* Why do you always seems to do that when it’s me?!
Mu: Sorry… But at least you aren’t hurt.
Camus: No, just her pride.
Hyoga: Aurore-nee-san!!!!!

Aurore turned and looked at Hyoga; she smiled at him, forgetting completely her misadventure with the teleportation trip.

Aurore: Good to see you Hyoga, but I thought you were in Japan.
Hyoga: Well… Saori was coming here so…
Aurore: Okay. * looks at herself* I swear, next time I teleport, I’ll make sure I’m not in my school uniform.
Camus: And I thought you didn’t like the uniform…
Aurore: And you imagine it’s fun to fall in a puddle of mud with a damn skirt?!
Milo: * pulls the back of the skirt up* I know why… * smirk*

It didn’t take a few seconds; Aurore squeak and turned around to hit Milo on the face. She looked very pissed at him. She did had drop her back at the same time.

Aurore: Pervert! Next time, you are in an ice coffin!
Milo: Ouch!
Aiolia: Idiot…
Camus: And I wonder why he’s my friend sometimes…
Mu: We all wonder that…

The Bronze Saints were looking at this conversation with shock looks; this seemed like a normal situation for the Gold Saints, althought the skirt incident seemed not really normal. Hyoga just shook his head, this was so embarrassing.

A few seconds later, some of the other Gold Saints came down to see a very pissed off Aurore yelling at Milo. Some of them were just as surprised as the Bronze Saints and some of them just trying to hide a smile.

DeathMask: What happen to make Aurore want to put Milo in an ice coffin?
Hyoga: He looked under the skirt… And don’t ask why he did, ‘cause I won’t answer!
Shura: Idiot…
Seiya: You can say that again…
Shura: Milo has a death wish; he never should provoke her unless he wants to be an ice statue.

It took Camus and Mu to calm down Aurore because she almost made an attack at Milo. Milo was hiding behind Aiolia, who seemed to dislike the idea to be used as a human shield. The argument was now over, even if Aurore seemed not too happy. She was still giving Milo some death glares while Camus was pushing her away from his friend. Camus had took her bag and decided it was time to go upstairs. The others waited a little while before going.

* Later *

Camus was in his temple, guarding it as usual. His sister had disappeared in the small quarters of the temple, saying she was going to clean herself, change and settle her things. He knew she was also trying to calm herself down at the same time. The other Gold Saints had heard that the young lady was here and the incident with Milo. The Scorpio Saint was avoiding the Aquarius temple, for fear she would make her threats real.

A few minutes later, Aurore came up to join her older brother. She was wearing a baby blue t-shirt that was a little longer than usual with dark blue borders around the neck and sleeves. She had a long dark blue scarf tied around her waist, two black bracelets and five silver bracelets on each of her upper arms. She was wearing black pants and dark brown boots. She had her hair tied down in a low ponytail.

Camus: So, you settle your things down?
Aurore: Yes, but I really don’t want to see Milo right now…
Camus: * smiles* That’s why he’s avoiding my temple for today.
Aurore: You seem happy about it…
Camus: No, but it was amusing to see how scared he was of you.
Aurore: Bah! He deserved it… It was like that guy at school…
Camus: Did I miss anything?
Aurore: Not really… He was just trying to make a move on me.
Camus: Is that why they yelled at you?
Aurore: That and the fact I was the new kid and no one really liked me.
Camus: I can imagine the disaster you could have made.
Aurore: That would have been more than just a few ice coffins… But anyway, you never told me how you manage to convince Saori to let me live here.

Camus looked at her sister and was about to say something when Aiolia and Mu came in the temple, seeming very worried. Camus and Aurore exchange a glare and knew it wasn’t good.

Aiolia: Have you two see Milo?
Camus: No… He’s been avoiding my temple since the incident. Why?
Mu: We want to warn him that Saga and Aioros are searching for him and they aren’t happy.
Aurore: Don’t tell me he pissed them off…
Aiolia: He did. And I really don’t know how he did this.
Aurore: Milo has the tendency to get in trouble?
Mu: Yes.

Suddenly, they heard someone running to the Temple and go directly to Camus’ quarters. Camus just shook his head. It was really predictable for the Scorpio Saint. It didn’t take long before the two older Saints to show up, obviously not very happy. They were followed by Kanon, who obviously found the situation amusing.

Saga: Where is Milo?
Kanon: Really Saga, you have to let him alone. It was an accident.
Aioros: And you want us to believe that?
Aurore: What happen anyway?

The two Gold Saints looked at each other, wondering if they should even mention what happen, which made Kanon even more amused. Saga glared at his twin brother, meaning that he should not open his mouth about it. That made the young Saints and Aurore more curious about this.

Aurore: If you don’t want to tell us, I might just go find Milo and…
Saga: Don’t you dare do that!!!!!
Aurore: Why not?
Milo: ‘Cause it would really embarrassed them?

The group turned and saw Milo standing next to the door that lead to Camus’ quarters, which he was ready to run back in there if he had any problems. Saga was really not happy and gave a death glare that couldn’t be rival with anyone and Aioros was really annoyed. The others were looking between the three of them, wondering what was going on.

Aiolia: Okay… Can someone fill us in because right now, you guys are acting weird.
Milo: Depends on your older brother Aiolia.
Aioros: Milo! Don’t you even dare!
Aurore: It’s not like you two are dating or anything,,,

At this, Kanon started to laugh so much that he needed something to stand and Milo couldn’t help to smirk. Saga and Aioros immediately paled and looked away.

Aurore: Okay… Nevermind what I said…
Aiolia: You can say that again. * looks Aioros* You guys are dating right?
Aioros: Well…
Kanon: Come on! It’s so obvious! It’s almost like Shion and Dohko being a couple!
Mu: Nice comparison Kanon… But you didn’t need to say that.
Kanon: Just stating a fact.
Saga: Shut up Kanon.
Aurore: So, it is true.

Saga glared at a innocent looking Aurore. It didn’t take long before Saga calms down a little and sighs; he was defeated.

Saga: I really hate you Milo…
Milo: You should have lock your room then.
Aioros: Milo…
Milo: What? I’m just saying…
Aioros: Will you drop the subject? I think you gave too much information already.
Milo: If I say no, what would you do?
Aioros: Blackmail… You wouldn’t want them to know about something…
Milo: Okay! Got the message! Geez…
Aiolia: Aioros, you are hanging out way too much with the Geminis!
Milo: Duh! One is his lover.
Saga: MILO!!!!

Milo just disappeared in Camus’ quarters, not to be caught by the Gemini Saint. Aioros and Kanon were holding an enrage Saga. Aurore, just look at them; nothing was surprising her anymore. She looked at Mu and he pointed to her brother’s quarters. She nodded and both of them head out there. When they arrived, they saw a very nervous Scorpio Saint, pacing in the small living room.

Aurore: You’re okay?
Milo: No… I know Aioros might just have said something… I should have shut up for once…
Mu: Calm down Milo. Panicking only make things worst. Beside, the worst that could happen is that Aioros found out about your secret crush and decided to say it to the said person.
Milo: That’s what I’m afraid of…

Both Mu and Aurore looked at each other; that was one good reason to Milo to be scared of. For both of them, it was obvious who it was and why Milo was so scared.

Aurore: Milo, just calm down. Right now, Aioros won’t say a thing. Especially if they are a little too many people in one room. He wouldn’t dare say it infront of…
Milo: I know, but what if…
Mu: It won’t happen. Just calm down. Aioros is not that stupid.

A few minutes later, Camus and Aiolia came down from the temple, obviously a little tired of the abnormal situation that had happen a few minutes later. Aiolia seemed amused and Camus was indifferent with all of this, but deep down inside, he was annoyed.

Aiolia: You know Milo, that little accident will be one of the best moment of the year.
Milo: Geez! Like we didn’t know that one.
Aiolia: Milo, it was a rumor… Until today. Now, they won’t have a choice to confirm it.
Camus: And you are happy about it?
Aiolia: Well… Yes. That way, it will stop the rumors that those two hate each other.
Mu: Beside that, they deserve each other.
Shaka: Who deserve each other?

The group turned around to see the Virgo Gold Saint coming downstairs, wearing his usual robes. The other Gold Saints were trying to figure out what to say to him and Aurore was trying to make something out; tell the truth or let the boys handle it. She didn’t remember much about the new comer except that he was very powerful and pretty much indifferent sometimes arrogant, but could have a kind heart when need it. She also remembered that he had been pretty distant toward her.

Aurore: Nothing really important… Probably not a subject that interest you…
Milo: Very low Aurore…
Aurore: What? It’s not like Shaka is interested in someone’s else love affair.
Shaka: I see that you haven’t change since the last time we met Aurore.
Aurore: I would say the same to you. *to Milo * And Milo, don’t you start it again.
Milo: Don’t worry… I really don’t want to be in an ice coffin…

Aurore give him a good mean glare to Milo and he gave one back, starting a glare contest between the Scorpio Saint and the young woman, which annoyed the Aquarius Saint highly. After a while, Milo just smirked. That totally puzzled Aurore. Suddenly, a bell was heard all around the Sanctuary. The five Gold Saints summoned their Cloths and in a few seconds, they were wearing their Gold. They were leaving, but at the last minute Mu turned around and looked at Aurore.

Aurore: What?
Mu: You’re coming?
Aurore: Mu, I thought that civilians weren’t allowed to go.
Mu: Sion just told me that you are allowed to come.
Aurore: Okay…

She followed the Gold Saints to the Grand Pope’s temple. They finally reached it, but before they could enter, the guards blocked the entry to Aurore. She was really not happy.

Aurore: What the?
Guard #1: You aren’t allowed here kid, so scram!
Aurore: But…
Dohko: She got permission from the Grand Pope to get in.

The guards turned around to see the Libra Saint; he was not the Old Master anymore, but a 19 years old Chinese man. They let Aurore pass; she smirked at them and nodded thanks to Dohko, who smiled. When she joined the group, all the Gold Saints, and the rest of the Saints (which means Marin, Shaina and all the Bronze Saints) were there and some of them were surprised to see that a civilian was allowed in here.

Shaina: What the heck is she doing here?! Civilians are not allowed here!!!
Sion: I allowed her to come in since we might need her help with the new problem.

That surprised most, if not all, of the Saints present. It also surprised Aurore and yet, it didn’t. She just looked at Camus, but he didn’t knew either what was going on. Sion sat on his throne, beside Athena’s, and everyone looked back at them. Aurore was as curious as the others.

Sion: It has come to our attention that a negative aura is coming from Egypt. We don’t know yet if it’s a threat to the Sanctuary, but we feel that we need to investigate. It seems that this energy have been developing over the months that we were here and maybe a little more. * to Aurore* I’ve heard that you did go to Egypt in your traveling.

Some of the Gold Saints looked at Aurore, who seemed indifferent. It was not doubt there that she had learned this trick from Camus.

Aurore: You are correct, but it was a year ago. Last time, everything seemed okay… Until I’ve heard from other students in archeology that one of the university’s research sites had discovered something.
Sion: Which is?
Aurore: I’m not sure… I didn’t hear the rest of the discussion due to some unwanted events.
Sion: I see…
Aurore: I may add; it seems that some of the archeology students who were back from the say site acted weirdly when they came back… Especially around me.
Dohko: What do you mean?
Aurore: How can I say… They looked at me as if they knew that I was able to fight. As if they knew who I was really. Not only that, I usually had headaches when they were watching me… Like if they tried to read my mind.

That got Sion’s attention and Mu’s worried; Aurore did reveal a lot of information, but also new information about herself: she could feel psychic attacks. Mu looked at Sion and he nodded. Most of the Saints were trying to figure one thing; who was going to investigate the case.

Sion: I see… It is more serious than we first thought. But what worries me more is that the enemy might be a lot stronger…
Saori: This means we have to send a Gold Saint for this investigation.
Sion: Exactly… Virgo Saint Shaka, you will have this investigation. You will have to find the source of this negative energy and find if it’s a new enemy. Someone will accompany you on this journey and it’s…
Milo: May I suggest Aurore for this job?

Aurore glared at Milo, wanting to strangle the Scorpio Saint right on the spot. He had the occasion to have his little revenge and he didn’t miss it. It’s not that she didn’t want to go, but it’s was Shaka the problem. Beside, she wanted to stay with her brother. On the other side, Shaka was not happy either with Milo’s suggestion. He didn’t know much about the young woman, only that she was Camus’ sister and she had an attitude. Their usual encounters were always when the other Saints were there and none of them were really nice; she always had that cocky attitude.

Sion: An excellent idea Milo.
Aurore: WHAT?
Shaka: With all due respect, I don’t think bringing a civilian with me would be a good idea.
Aurore: And I suppose you think that you won’t get noticed with that Cloth of yours?

That got Shaka to open his eyes and glared at the second Aquarius. She glared back at him; both of them didn’t notice they were increasing their cosmos. If it wasn’t for Camus and Dohko to bring them back to order, who knows what would have happen. They kept glaring at each other.

Sion: The idea is not to get noticed Shaka, I thought you would have figured it out. Also, bringing Aurore with you will have its advantages. She does know where the site is and you won’t get too much noticed with a civilian.
Shaka: …
Sion: Now, since it’s settle… You two will leave tomorrow. This reunion is over. You can leave now.

All the Saints left the room. Aurore past beside Milo and punch/ice his left shoulder. Milo let out a little yell and glared at the young Aquarius. She was already gone downstairs.

* Aquarius Temple *

Aurore was far from being happy; she was leaving the next day and with the Virgo Saint. All because of Milo’s sick way to get revenge on her. She was packing her stuff again, but this time taking her cloths, a map and some things she might need during her trip; which include her walkman and tapes. After a while, she had finish packing a small bag and sat on the couch. Camus came back at this time and looked at his sister; she was not happy. He sat beside her and waited until she spoke.

Aurore: He got me good this time…
Camus: That, I agree. But why are you mad with Shaka? It’s not like he did something wrong to you…
Aurore: Well… He always acts distant with me and he acts like a jerk toward me. You heard what he said? He thinks little of me with that!
Camus: He was pointing out that bringing a civilian was risky…
Aurore: But I’m not ordinary civilian…
Camus: Amen to that. He was more pointing out that you weren’t a Saint.
Aurore: Correction, refused to be one. But, that doesn’t stop the fact he thinks little of me.

They both felt silent until they heard footsteps coming in the stairs; Mu, Aiolia and Milo were joining them in the small living room. Aurore gave an icy death glare at Milo, which made him smirk.

Milo: So… Happy to go in Egypt with Shaka?
Aurore: Milo, if you weren’t my brother’s best friend, you would have been dead by now.
Milo: I’m hurt! I thought I was a friend too. (faker…)
Aurore: * sighs* Just shut up for once…
Aiolia: *pats Aurore on the head* Poor kid…

She just let that one past; Aiolia was one of the rare persons that she allowed to touch her like that. She sighed again and closed her eyes. She just wanted to relax before a long journey. Suddenly, she heard someone voice in her head. She was really surprised.

// Aurore: Uh? //
// Mu: Sorry to surprise you Aurore, but I was checking how strong were your psychic powers. //
// Aurore: Okay… But why checking it like this? //
// Mu: To see if you had also started to make a barrier around your mind. Which you have not... //
// Aurore: Obviously. But can we come back talking normally? I think we are freaking the others. //
// Mu: Right. //

Aurore just open one eye and looked at the others; Camus was looking at her, worried, Aiolia and Milo were wondering what was going on. She just closed her eye back and pretend nothing happen, which made Mu smiled. She was really getting tired that she felt asleep.

Note: First chapter of a long story… I really worked on this story before, but none of the versions I’ve made so far made me happy.

EDIT: I had to reload the chapter due to the fact that one part was missing.
