Disclaimer: This story is set ten years after the defeat of MaloMyotismon, and also, I do not own Digimon, Also if Lemon Fanfics offend you or you don’t like the couple Daiora, leave now. Otherwise enjoy the fic.
Sora the digidestined of love had just received a phone call from her boyfriend Matt, which told her to meet him in Odaiba central park, "sure" ,she told him.
She figured seeing that it is their anniversary; he had planned something romantic, like an evening picnic, or something. But when she got there she was surprised at the words that came out of his mouth. "Sora, I’m sorry."
"I don’t understand," she replied.
"I’m in love with someone else," he continued.
Tears started to form in her eyes as she said, "Who?"
"Yolei," he answered, "Again I’m sorry," he said as he began to walk away.
Sora then proceeded to sit on a nearby bench and cry heavily.
*****************************************************************************Meanwhile, Davis Motomiya and his best friend Ken Ichijochi were walking through that same park, when Ken says, "Thanks again Davis for hooking me up with Kari."
"No problem pal, I rather just be friends with her anyways," He replies, "Besides I want to try to get with Sora, the problem is that she’s with Matt."
Its then that Ken notices the nearby bench that Sora is sitting on, crying.
"Davis, look," Ken says.
"What," Davis responds.
"Its Sora, and she’s crying about something, why don’t you go talk to her."
"Okay, you wait here."
He begins to walk over to her, the sat down next to her and asks, "Hey Sora, What’s the matter?"
"Oh nothing," she says trying to calm herself.
"Oh, come on something’s the matter, but you don’t have to tell me if you don’t want to," he says to her.
She looked up at him, he did look concerned,and he is her friend. "All right, I’ll tell you," she says to him, "Matt broke up with me, and what’s worse, is it’s our One-Year Anniversary."
Inside Davis’s head he was thinking two things, 1) boy I’d love to kill that guy and 2) Sora needs a friend now more than ever. After a moment, he looked at her and said, "Sora I’m sorry Matt did this to you, but you look like you could really use a friend right now, if you ever need a shoulder to cry on or someone to talk to, you know where I live."
He proceeded to get up and leave, when she got up and said, "Davis wait," he looked at her, she proceeded to hug him and say, "Thank you."Meanwhile, a few hours later Davis sat in his room thinking about what Matt had done and how he could remedy the situation, ( For Sora, at least. ) when DemiVeemon walked into the room and asked “What’s wrong, Davish?”
"Oh nothing, DemiVeemon," Davis responded solemnly.
“Oh come on, something’s wrong, now what’s wrong?” He asks again.
"All right, I’ll tell you," he said as he began to explain the situation at hand. After a while Davis stated, "And you see I like her and I don’t know what to do to make her feel better."
DemiVeemon looked deep in thought then said, "Why don’t you write her secret love letters."
Davis’s face light up like a Christmas tree, then he exclaimed, "D.V. you’re a genius!"
Lucky for Davis it was Friday cause he had a long weekend ahead of him. So he began to think of a love letter to write to Sora, and after six hours and four cups of coffee, he had written something truly exceptional.
*****************************************************************************Early Monday morning Davis bought a single rose and pinned it to the envelope that held her love letter. When she got to school that morning she found the envelope taped to her locker door. At first when she saw it she thought it might be an apology from Matt letter explaining his actions, then she thought it might be from Tai. Well, she thought I could stand here all day and deliberate about who the letter is from or I could open it and find out she decided the latter would be a better choice, so she proceeded to open the envelope and read the letter the letter stated,
Dear Sora, as I watch you from afar, I watch you with longing, longing to hold you in my arms and call you my own. He was fool to let you go. He knows nothing about 'Friendship' and he sure doesn’t have the 'Courage' to be loyal to & love someone as elegant as you, but I most certainly do. Love, Anonymous.
Sora stared at the letter in disbelief with tears welling up in her eyes thinking, who could be in love with me? Could it be Tai? No, he’s going out with Jun. Wait, she stated, Courage... Friendship... could it be...Davis? I wonder... she then thought, if it is him I hope he tells me soon,he is kind of cute after all.
A/N: So what did everybody think? I’ve got to throw a dedication Robster80 and Ben Myatt’s way, your guy’s Fanfiction is a great influence. This is chapter one of six. Also, I know it seemed Sora is the main character for the storyline but she’s not her and Davis both are. Please read & review, thanks – Gabriel769
