A/N: Greetings, readers! Sorry about the long wait for this story - I started it in August or September, and planned to have it finished before the end of last year. Unfortunately, life had other plans, regrettably delaying the completion of this story. I plan to release a new chapter each week on Saturdays until all chapters are posted, and each chapter will have specific warnings.
As always, I welcome feedback - ratings, reviews, or PMs on the forum!

Chapter 1: White Wedding
Kokoa fidgeted in her seat and grumbled under her breath. Trapped in this constricting ankle-length mint-green dress and these incredibly uncomfortable high heels, she folded her arms in a huff and counted the places she’d prefer to be right now. She’d reached 2,004 when she noticed that loser Tsukune, clad in a surprisingly classy white tuxedo, walk to the front of the grand chamber they occupied alongside a middle-aged man wearing a white robe and a funny hat.
Wait… what the hell’s going on here? she wondered as she took a good look around.
A small crowd, mostly students from Yokai Academy, sat in the ordered rows dictated by long, wooden benches. A path, covered in thin, white cloth, divided these benches into two distinct blocks. At the front stood the aforementioned human loser and oddly-dressed man, not far from a woman sitting in front of an organ. The chamber itself had a high, vaulted ceiling and windows of multi-colored glass arranged in abstract patterns. Other than that worthless Tsukune, no one in the chamber had any distinguishing features, but all wore formal clothing.
A shiver passed up the vampire’s spine. Something’s not right about this…
Kokoa’s thoughts were interrupted by the organist beginning to play a series of chords which sounded vaguely familiar, even if the vampire couldn’t quite place the tune. Within moments, the lame girls from the Newspaper Club walked down the aisle, clad in scarlet short-sleeved dresses that fell about the knees; each carried a carefully-wrapped red rose. One by one, they took positions in a line across from the human boy. Their faces bore fresh tear tracks, and their expressions struck her as utterly heartbroken.
The tune coming from the organ shifted, and everyone in the room stood. Kokoa stood as well. She spotted Tsukune looking down the aisle; his face – his dopey, dorky face – erupted into an enormous grin.
From the corner of her eye, Kokoa noticed these latest entrants ascend the dais to join the cluster of weaklings. One, clad in his finest suit – a nouveau-retro Victorian gentleman’s suit, replete with top hat, white gloves, and cane – she recognized as her father. The other, in a strapless, floor-length white gown with train and full-length opera gloves, Kokoa couldn’t quite see…
… until Father put the white-gloved hand into the human’s and stepped back. Those crimson eyes… that silver-white hair, even piled atop her head like that… it’s… it’s…
“Big Sis?” Kokoa whimpered, her eyes as big as saucers.
Kokoa’s mind whirled as she attempted to process what she saw. Moka – the real one, not the useless pink-haired version with the rosary – wore her signature smirk, and she gazed lovingly into the human’s eyes. The gown struggled to contain her generous bust, which seemed on the cusp of breaking free at any given moment. In her free hand, the elder sister held a bouquet of white roses.
No! she screamed inwardly. This can’t be happening! My amazing Big Sis can’t be… be… getting married to that worthless panty-waist! What the hell?
The strangely-dressed man opened a large book. “Marriage,” he intoned, “is what brings us together today. Marriage, that blessed arrangement, that dream within a dream…”
Don’t do this, Big Sis! Kokoa pleaded silently. She moved to speak, but Father silenced her with a glance.
“Love,” continued the strangely-accoutered man, “true love, will follow you forever.”
Can you really love him? wondered the younger vampire.
“So treasure your love,” urged the clergyman.
A tear rolled down Kokoa’s cheek. Big Sis… I don’t believe this… how could you betray our vampire kindred like this? With such a wuss of a human?
Kokoa tuned out as the officiant continued to drone on about the bliss that the soon-to-be-wedded pair would enjoy. That wimp’s gonna be my brother-in-law? Blech. He doesn’t deserve to breathe the same air as my glorious Big Sis, much less join our family.
She spotted the loser human’s loser human family across the aisle – his dopey-looking parents and kinda-cute female cousin. The vampire barely suppressed a sneer at the parents’ weepy faces and the cousin’s too-young-for-her-age fashion sense. Great – look who’s coming to dinner, Kokoa groused.
With an evil grin, she thought, Maybe I’ll drain them dry. That’ll be my revenge and my silver lining for this fiasco.
“Have you the ring?” the priest asked Tsukune. Kokoa begrudged the human credit for pulling the ring from his suit pocket without fumbling. Moka slid her left glove off for Tsukune to put the ring onto her finger.
A wave of disgust washed over the younger vampire. Ugh! What the hell does she see in that milksop?
She blanched. Oh, shit – this means they’re gonna have kids at some point… little peons that I’ll have to babysit! Kokoa fought the urge to retch, especially at the thought of Tsukune and her sister engaging in the process of “making babies.”
Finally, the priest uttered the words Kokoa had most dreaded since this ceremony began: “… man and wife.”
Kokoa gritted her teeth as tears once more rolled down her cheeks. So that’s it, then – Big Sis married the human dork. Now we’re stuck with the loser until he dies, and then Big Sis will grieve for him for a long, long time. Why did you set yourself up for such heartbreak?
Moka looked happy, though – happier than Kokoa could remember ever seeing her. A pang of jealousy shot through the younger vampire. Why can’t I have someone who wants me? she wondered.
Moka’s eyes flicked over towards her sister, her smile remaining in place but shifting almost imperceptibly into smug superiority. “You had your chance,” she chided. “You turned Tsukune down.”
Kokoa blinked. The chamber stood suddenly empty except for the two vampires and Tsukune. “What the hell?” the younger vampire muttered.
“You told me you didn’t want to be part of my ‘stupid harem,’ remember?” Tsukune reminded her, his voice sad but bereft of malice.
“Of course I don’t!” shouted Kokoa, folding her arms. “I don’t like you at all – not for me, and not for my Big Sis!”
“My, my, but you’re cross,” teased Moka, “even for someone who doesn’t like her new brother-in-law.”
“I hate him!” sniffed the younger sister.
“I think you like him,” replied the older sister, “and you’re jealous, and angry at yourself for pushing Tsukune away.”
The younger vampire felt her face heat up until its red matched her hair. “D-Don’t be ridiculous, Big Sis!” she protested. “Why would I want that kind of loser? I still can’t figure out why you do, either.”
Moka’s crimson eyes bored into Kokoa’s green ones. “I know you’ve watched us, Kokoa. Did you think I wouldn’t sense your monster energy, even while making love to Tsukune?”
While Kokoa gaped in surprise, her sister’s smile turned downright predatory. “So I know you know how good he makes me feel; he’s a talented lover, my Tsukune.” The young man had the good sense to blush at his wife’s bragging.
Kokoa turned her head away, only a little ashamed she’d been caught. She decided sarcasm would provide her best defense in this situation: “Right, Big Sis. Watching you spread your legs for the first boy you met made me want to do the same.”
“Was it so tough to admit it?” the older vampire needled.
Kokoa growled, “You just don’t get it.”
Moka glared. “You don’t get it. If you keep treating boys the way you treated Tsukune, you’ll end up alone, and unloved, forever.” When the younger girl didn’t respond, Moka shrugged and walked away with her freshly-minted husband. “Suit yourself,” she called over her shoulder. “Enjoy your eternal solitude. I intend to enjoy consummating my marriage tonight – and every night from now on.”
Kokoa gritted her teeth, the imagined sounds of her sister’s moans echoing through her mind’s ear.
~~~~~
Kokoa bolted upright into a sitting position. A panicked look around confirmed, via her vampire night-vision, that she was in her room at Yokai Academy in the middle of the night. “What the hell?” she muttered as she rubbed the sleep from her eyes.
Gradually the cobwebs of lingering sleep cleared, and the redheaded vampire remembered where and when she truly was. She’d just returned from the land of the ice-demons, where she’d followed the upperclassmen on their ski trip. While there, Kokoa had been caught in an avalanche; she’d taken the opportunity while trapped in that cave with him to give the dumbass a piece of her mind. Unfortunately, she’d said some things in the process she didn’t mean, like not wanting to be part of his “stupid harem.”
What I’d wanted to say, Kokoa realized, is that I want him to leave my Big Sis alone, so I could take her place in the harem. Her face fell into her hands. That’ll never happen now, will it?
“Dammit!” she blurted.
The vampire lay back down and stared at the ceiling. What do I do now? she wondered. I still hate the idea of Big Sis with that lily-livered wuss of a human.
An idea struck, catapulting Kokoa back into a sitting position. That idiot still prefers the good-for-nothing pink-haired Moka, right? If I could just separate her from my real Big Sis, Tsukune would focus on Pinkie from now on and wouldn’t want Big Sis anymore. Or those other lame girls, for that matter. An evil grin spread across her face.
“Wake up, Kou-buddy!” she barked at her familiar. “We have research to do!” To herself, she vowed, Big Sis, I’ll get you back for good, I swear it!
