Lending a Hand to Others
Lending a Hand to Others
Mousse woke up slowly trying to remember previous events and why he was now sleeping in a foreign bed. He rubbed his eyes, but he still couldn\'t see, just a bunch of blurry lines and colored shapes floating around him. He could hear a few voices in another room, but the words were just muffled sounds and nothing could be made out. He rose with caution while feeling around for his glasses. He started looking around for the color purple while whispering, “Shampoo...! Where are you? Are you ok?” His response was a hand on his shoulder and the words of a girl. “Here. Put these on.”
Mousse felt her hand and recognizes his glasses immediately. He put them on fast and took a look around his surroundings. There was a table with tea on it, pictures on the walls, and a few couches in front of a T.V. He looked over to the red head girl and asked. “Where am I? Where’s Shampoo!? Is she all right!?”
The mystery girl shook her head with a smile. “Hey, hey, hey. Calm down there big guy. Every one’s all right. You guys just got scared half to death, that’s all. We are in the Tendo dojo and Shampoo is in the other room with Cologne. Want some tea or some thing?”
Mousse didn’t know what else to say, but “Uhhh, sure.” Ranma helped him up and lead him into the tearoom, where Shampoo, Cologne and Kasumi greeted them. Mousse rushed over to Shampoo in a heartbeat. “Are you ok Shampoo!? He didn’t hurt you did he!?”
Shampoo smacked his hand away from her. “Shampoo fine! You one who wet himself big coward! Ranma never hurt Shampoo any way!”
Mousse seemed to loose a couple of pegs in his self esteem at that moment when he realized that he was wearing different pants. He took his tea from Kasumi and with a hooded look of shame over his eyes he made his way out into the living room to sit on the couch. Ranma took hers as well and shot Shampoo a look. “He’s just concerned about you ya know? You don’t have to treat him like that.”
Shampoo crossed her arms and stuck her nose in the air. “Yes, Shampoo does!”
Ranma shook her head and went to go join Mousse as Shampoo and Cologne continued their conversation. “So, tell me more about your husband child… What else have you seen him do?”
Ranma walked into the tearoom and sat on the couch across from Mousse. “So, how are you feeling?”
Mousse took a deep breath and bowed his head. “Horrible… I just wanted to… Oh, never mind. You probably don’t care…”
Ranma reached her foot across and kicked Mousse’s. “Hey! I came in here to cheer you up, so I’ll listen. What’s on your mind?”
Mousse sipped his tea a little and took in another deep breath, but couldn’t find any words to say to this stranger. Ranma decided to provoke him. “Let me guess. Is it about Shampoo?”
Mousse nodded but decided to stay silent some more. “I saw how you fought for her you know? You must really like her…”
Mousse was now on a conversation that he knew how to handle. “Yeah… I’ve been in love with her since we were young, but…”
Mousse’s voice trailed off a bit so Ranma finished for him. “But she doesn’t seem to feel the same about you?”
Mousse nodded his head a bit and took another sip. “Have you ever thought that you’ve been trying too hard?”
Mousse almost spat out tea and looked hard at the girl. “How can you say that!? There’s nothing I wouldn’t do for Shampoo! I love her!”
Ranma smiled and nodded her head. “I noticed. But maybe you should give her a little space. She probably doesn’t like you rushing in to solve all her problems at once. I know my friend Akane doesn’t like me to do that for her, so I just stay out of the way, until I’m needed.”
Mousse shook his head. “I don’t think you understand… I’m in love with her, its almost impossible for me to NOT do any thing.”
“Actually I do understand. I’m in love with Akane, but I know when to butt out.”
“Isn’t ‘Akane’ a girls name?”
“Yup.”
“Oh…”
Mousse sat in silence for a bit and eventually found words. “Maybe I am trying too hard…?”
Ranma nodded her head and looked Mousse in the eye with a devious smile. “Well, she IS a pretty girl. If I wasn’t committed, I’d probably be chasing after her, but I guess you got first dips, so I’ll stay out of the way.”
Mousse scratched his head nervously while playing a few fantasies through his head. “Well, errr… Shampoo’s not like that… She’s seen those kind of relations back at the village, and it always seemed to gross her out…”
Ranma snapped her fingers. “Well its not like I’m losing any thing. I’ll always have Akane and she’s all I’ll ever need. Just remember to give Shampoo a bit of space, ok? You may be rushing her too fast. Just prove to her that you’re a loyal friend and she should start warming up to you.”
Mousse nodded with a smile. “Thanks. You really did cheer me up.”
Ranma got up off the couch and started making her way to the stairs. “Its nothing. Think of it as my way of saying I’m sorry.”
Mousse raised an eyebrow and looked at her. “Huh? Sorry for what? Who are you by the way?”
Ranma extended her hand out for a shake. “Ranma Soatome. Pleased to meet you.” It wasn’t so much a handshake that Ranma got in return, but a shocked look and burst of hot tea in the face.
Ranma stood in silence as the tea dripped off his face. Mousse stared in shock as he looked at the now male Ranma. Ranma’s left eye twitched a little, but he kept his cool. “Well, if that’s the standard Amazon greeting, then who am I to ding some one else’s culture?” He took some tea into his mouth and sprayed Mousse. “I’m going to have a bath now. I’m afraid the Amazon greeting grossed me out a little, and I feel a little dirty from it.” Ranma made his way up stairs and into the bathroom with a somewhat pissed look on his face. Mousse had other things on his mind.
“AARRRGGGHHHH!!!”
“What is it Mousse? Can’t you see that Shampoo and I are having a conversation?”
Mousse pointed wildly up towards the stairs. “Hesashesa! She, he! Ranma is a heshe! ARGH! Ranma turned into a girl! And then into a guy! What the heck!?”
Cologne shook her head. “Mousse sit down and listen. Ranma has a Josenkyo curse, and changes into a girl. You’ve seen these types of things before. Secondly, before you go on a demon slaying quest to conquer Ranma, he’s actually a great illusionist. Every thing he did was an illusion to scare you. Thirdly…” Mousse was suddenly hit in the face with a towel. “You are covered in tea, and you smell bad from the long journey, so go wash up.”
“B-but Ranma’s using it right now…”
WACK!
“It’s nothing you haven’t seen before. Now get up there and leave us in peace.”
Mousse bowed his head in defeat yet again and started making his way up to the bathroom. Once in front of the door he gave a knock. “Err… I kinda need a bath too… Mind if I join?”
There was an extremely long pause and Mousse was about to give up hope and go back downstairs until he heard Ranma’s voice. “My god! You’re the first person to ever knock on that door! I’ve never had the choice before… I guess it’s alright… Lord knows every one else has come in here…”
Mousse didn’t know how to interpret that so he went into the first room where he took off his cloths. A splash distracted him for a second but he shrugged it off. Soon the sound of running water could be heard and Mousse walked in with his glasses and a towel. He started wishing he had left the glasses…
Ranma was standing in front of the mirror in female form fondling her breasts. Mousse froze and went beat red. Ranma looked to her left and saw Mousse standing there. “Ahh! Perfect timing! I need a second opinion. Here, put your hand here and tell me if you feel a lump.”
“AHHH!! No! Put those away! You don’t have any lumps! God, put a shirt on or some thing!”
“What? The doctor said that it was important that I check for lumps every so often, but I don’t know what I’m looking for here.” Ranma was holding her breasts and looking down with a curious and confused look in her eyes.
Mousse shielded his eyes and pointed to Ranma. “No lumps! Change back into a guy and learn some modesty!”
Ranma pouted and kept looking down and examining. “Geez, you’d think another guy wouldn’t mind helping me out here. Not a single guy in this house is willing I tell ya! And I don’t want one of the girls to do it, and Akane never has the time!”
“CHANGE.BACK.INTO.A.GUY.NOW!!!”
Ranma threw her arms in the air. “FINE!” and she dunked herself into the bath. “There! Are you happy!?”
“YES!”
Mousse and Ranma sat in the bath in silence for a while until Ranma broke the silence. “You know…”
Mousse had his arms crossed with an angry expression on his face. “What!?”
“If I get breast cancer, I’m holding you responsible…”
“What kind of weirdo are you anyways!? Is this how you make a first impression with some one!?”
Ranma raised and eyebrow and looked away. “You’re one to talk. I don’t remember attacking YOU blindly with out an explanation. That and you stabbed me you vicious bastard. On top of that I thought we had a good talk downstairs, we got to bond. You’re the one that’s the weirdo.”
“But you stole Shampoo from me! I had to fight! And I didn’t know who you were when we were talking!”
“See? Now you’re going to toss every thing I said to you out the window. Even the apology I gave you. I’m just telling you now. Don’t expect another one from me. Play with fire and you get burned. Rules of life, man. You attacked me and I beat you and humiliated you, so you get to deal with it.”
Mousse’s fist was in a ball and his teeth were gritting. “You made a fool out of me!”
Ranma looked at him with an unimpressed look. “No. YOU made a fool out of yourself. And you’re doing it again right now. So stop it!”
Mousse started yelling in Ranma’s face. “DON’T TELL ME WHAT TO DO! HYAA!!” A sword shot out of the water in the tub and nearly took off Ranma’s arm.
“What the hell are you doing to damn lunatic!? Put that thing away!”
“When I beat you, Shampoo will marry me!” He lunged again with the sword and both the boys jumped out of the tub. Some how the two had managed to fashion some bubble underwear on their way out, which Ranma noted. Mousse wasn’t about to let up though; he came in close for an upward slash. Ranma took the opportunity and dodges. While Mousse’s arm was high in the air, Ranma gave a quick jab to Mousse’s elbow and with a short scream from Mousse, the joint popped out of place. The sword flew wild into the air, but was caught by Ranma as Mousse fell over. Ranma put a foot on his chest and pointed the sword at his nose.
“Look Mousse. I hate to be the one to tell you here, but I’ve got you out classed, so stop fighting me this instant.”
Mousse held his arm and glared at Ranma. “You just want Shampoo you damn enslaver!”
Ranma shook his head with no real expression. “You weren’t listening before were you? I only want Akane. This whole marriage thing happened by accident and I’m busy looking for a way out of it. After that she’s yours for the taking, but YOU have to win her heart and stop looking at her as some prize. That’s probably why she’s pissed at you all the time. You treat her like a thing more then a person.”
“What would you know!?”
Ranma leaned in close to Mousse’s face. “I’ll let you in on a secret. When we got engaged by mistake, she’s been putting on a false front. She’s constantly trying to be some one she isn’t. She cries at night, you know? She doesn’t want this. And I’m pretty sure she never wanted to be some prize either. Which is exactly how you see her.”
Mousse got in close to Ranma’s face as well. “I love her! She isn’t a prize! She’s some one that deserves more then just some loser like you.”
Ranma smiled. “That’s good and all, but it doesn’t change the fact that you treat her like that. Think back and start remembering all those times you fought for her and what you said. I wasn’t there, but I have a good idea.”
Mousse’s eyes started shifting and his thoughts were going wild. The two stared at each other for 3 long mins. Until Mousse’s face started to change into some thing of realization. He took his eyes away from Ranma started looking down and off to the side in deep thought. He started bringing his eyes up towards Ranma and looked at him hard. “…I….Errr…. Do I really treat her like that…?”
Ranma shrugged his shoulders. “I don’t know. But all I’ve heard from you today is Shampoo this, and Shampoo that. It just seems like to me that you’re chasing her around trying to stick a flag in her, and stake a claim.”
Mousse laid in silence and in thought. “Let me up… I’m not going to fight any more…”
Ranma looked at him with a hard glare. “Promise? I just want a relaxing bath. How about you?”
Mousse nodded his head slowly and started getting up in pain. “Ahh…! I think you broke my arm.”
“Well, lets fix that then.” Ranma grabbed the mangled joint roughly and started muttering a few words, which blew by Mousse as the pain rushed through him.
“ARGH! WHAT ARE YOU DOING!? THAT HURTS!”
Ranma gave a sly look. “In the words of my doctor: Oh, really? Where?”
“RIGHT HER- Oh…. Uhhh, how did you do that?”
“Just a little bit of magic, nothing major.”
The two sunk back into the tub and relaxed a little. “Magic huh? The old ghoul said that you were an illusionist.”
Ranma tilted his head in thought. “Really? She said that? Hmmm… I guess so. I’m many things, but I never really put illusionist down as one of my majors.”
“What about that trick you pulled on me down the street? That was quite the light show.”
Ranma snapped his fingers. “Oh, that! No there was nothing having to do with illusions in that one. You actually ran me through with that blade.”
Mousse gasped, “But how come it didn’t kill you!?”
“That healing I just performed on your arm was one of my lowest forms of healing. Believe me I know quite a bit of it. No matter how many times you stab me and run me through, I can always heal myself. But it’s not full proof. No form of magic is.”
Mousse laughed, “You’re telling me you’re some sort of magician? The only certain magic I’ve seen from you is your curse. I think you were just casting an illusion. Nothing but a light show. I know all about them myself.”
Ranma smiled until it became a grin. “You want a real illusion? Try this.” Ranma dunked his head fast into the water and arose quickly, but he had changed a bit. Well more like a lot. He came out of the water a she, but not just any she. It was a woman about 2 feet tall, with long gray hair, and a rather revealing swimsuit. Mousse screamed at the sight of Cologne in a swimsuit and almost fainted. She smiled evilly at him and dunked her head to arise as Ranma once again. “How was that?”
Mousse had a hand over his chest and was breathing heavily. “DON’T EVER DO THAT AGAIN! ESPECIALLY IN THE BATH TUB!”
Ranma laughed a bit. “Ok, ok. Just showing you my talents. You said you know all about lightshows. Explain that one.”
Mousse wiped the tears from his eyes and started. “Well it’s mainly what my art form revolves around. Simple parlor tricks are used to confuse the enemy and distract them while I use hidden weapons. At all times I have at least 12 on me.”
“Right now even?”
Mousse nodded. “Yes, as the areas are undisclosed I take much pride in my form. Not only is it a form but a way of…. What the hell are you doing?”
“Shaving my legs. Is there a problem with this?”
“err… I guess not…. You know. I think I’m all done soaking, so I’ll leave you to it…”
“Ok, but I want to hear more later. I think we can work together on some thing.”
Mousse looked a little shifty eyed as he made his way to the door. “Err… Yeah, some other time. Uhhh, see ya…”
As Mousse walked out of the bathroom with out a shirt on he adjusted his glasses and thought to himself. ‘Is Ranma a guy, or a girl? What a weirdo…”
Once Ranma was done shaving his legs he went into thought. ‘Good, I thought he’d never leave. Oooooo…. And my legs are silky smooth.’ He checked the clock up on the wall and sunk into the bath some more. ‘Looks like its about time Ryouga’s in math class. Time to go to work.’ Ranma closed his eyes and started with a few words. His mind shot out of his body and traveled towards Furikan high. Ranma was in his astral body searching the classrooms completely unnoticed as he looked for Ryouga. ‘Class C-7… C-7….. Damnit! I’m on the wrong side! …….Ah-ha! I see you Ryouga…. Time to see what’s going on in your mind, oh, and it looks like you’re doing a test no less.’
Ranma shrunk his body and connected himself with Ryouga’s mind. Once inside he stared looking around. There were sparks flying everywhere and thoughts rushing by him at alarming speeds. ‘hmmm… He’s thinking hard. Let’s see where his tree of knowledge is.’ Ranma caught onto a thought and went for a ride across the brain for a quick inspection.
After wandering around for a bit Ranma started noticing Ryouga’s big problem. ‘No wonder the guy gets lost so much. He’s so busy sorting out his thoughts that he can’t pay attention to what he needs too.’ Ranma started rubbing his astral chin and started thinking up solutions. ‘What this guy needs is a proper filing system… All these thoughts and memories are just running wild…’ Ranma pulled out a book from his own memory and started flipping through to find a diagram of the brain and its functions.
‘Lets see… Reading and writing go over here… Basic motor skills over there… Learning and new information input starts up there…. Memory storage on that side… Ok. I think I can organize this a little bit.” Ranma rolled up his imaginary sleeves and started working. He started drawing imaginary roads, and sculpting turning points. He directed all the information towards the center of the brain where it would be sent off to its proper locations with the use of astral signs and various road maps. The process took about an hour for Ranma, but he could feel Ryouga’s mind clearing up and the thoughts started wizzing by him going to all their proper areas. Ranma was wearing a hard hat at this point and scratching his butt while looking over some blue prints.
‘hmmm… yup….that’s in place…got the main highway finished….the filing system should be easy enough to figure out….. Perfect! Well… perfects a bit of a stretch, but its defiantly much better off then it used to be. Now lets go over to the eyes and see how that test is going.’
Ranma peered out to see Ryouga working on a problem, but instead of the confused feel he was getting before he could sense Ryouga following those signs and highways for all the answers and solutions. Ranma nodded and smiled to himself. ‘Lets see, what else is there to do…. Oh yeah! The internal compass!” Ranma reached out a hand and caught a ride on a wisp going in that direction. He let go, as he was about to pass by and landed in front of a dark building. ‘This must be it. Time to see what’s going on in there.’
Ranma stepped inside and what he was expecting was a giant compass, but that thought was shatter as he saw a representation of Ryouga himself sitting on the ground and spinning a bottle. When the bottle stopped the boy got up and shouted. “HA! Today THIS is north!” Ranma didn’t know what to do or say, so he just closed the door slowly and didn’t look back. ‘Maybe its for the best that I don’t fix it. Ryouga just wouldn’t be Ryouga if he had a sense of direction…’
Ranma was about to disconnect when some thing caught the corner of his eye. In a big flashing neon sign there was written, (PEOPLE I KNOW AND LOVE INTERESTS keep out.) Ranma shook his head and accepted the invitation. He stepped through the gates and started looking around. ‘Wow this guy knows a lot of people. I wonder where I fit in?’ Ranma started poking around in the cabinet where the thoughts stored themselves. He came across friends and found a few people there. Not a whole lot actually, but to his surprise he was at the top of the list. ‘Awww… That’s just making me feel all warm and gooey inside… Oh, I know I shouldn’t….. But I wonder who he likes?’ Ranma started poking around again, but this time he was shocked. ‘HOLY CRAP! I’M AT THE TOP OF THE LIST AGAIN! AND AKANE IS SECOND! I don’t know how to feel right now… I’m honored and all, but damn! Better get out of here before I start looking into the erotic fantasy section….’
A few moments later….
‘I wonder if Akane can really bend like that? I’m making it look like a cinch myself... Oh, for the love of god! Foreplay you animal! Foreplay! Want some popcorn man?’ Ryouga’s compass guy nodded his head. “You know it!”
‘Shouldn’t you be working?’
“It really doesn’t matter.”
‘Yeah, you’re right.’
“I say we pop in Akane and this Akira chick into the equation.”
‘Yeah man. I’m all for it!’
Much Much Later
‘Well, time to get out of here and back into my own body.’ Ranma checked Ryouga’s internal clock. ‘Oh crap! I’ve been in here for over an hour watching porno! And I’m still in the tub! SHIT!’ Ranma waved his hand and came out of Ryouga’s head in record time. His surroundings were different this time. He was in a hospital and on a bed was his body surrounded by the Tendo family and some others. ‘Uh, oh…. This could be bad. I wonder how I’ll explain this?’
He looked down to see Ryouga and Akane hugging each other while she cried. ‘Hmm, I’m starting to see where that Ryouga becomes Dr. Fellatio, fantasy came from…’
Akane let go of Ryouga and sat beside Ranma’s sleeping body and she started shaking him. “Ranma! Wake up! Ranma!” The sound echoed into his head and it hurt.
Soun put a hand on her shoulder. “Akane dear… The doctor said that he’s in a coma. Shaking him won’t help.” Akane didn’t listen and kept shaking him.
“RANMA! WAKE UP!” The sound really hit Ranma hard this time and his head started throbbing in pain. ‘DAMNIT! Fine!’
Ranma sped down into his body and started waking up slowly. It became a lot faster when he got another eardrum exploder. “RANMA!!!”
Ranma shot awake with a pissed look on his face and quickly grabbed Akane’s shoulders and looked her square in the eyes and yelled. “STOP.SCREAMING.IN.MY.EAR!”
There was a dead silence in the room as every one stared at him. Shampoo went pale, as did Mousse. Cologne’s eyes were as wide as soup bowls and a loud thud was heard as Soun hit the ground with tears in his eyes. Nabiki sat in her chair not knowing what to think, while Kasumi just stood there with a smile on her face. “Oh, my! He’s up. I told you was just a little bit tired father.”
Akane just kept staring into Ranma’s eyes as he calmed down and looked back into hers. She started vibrating a bit and tears started swelling up in her eyes. Ranma was about to say some thing when he was suddenly taken into a tight hug. She settled her head on his shoulder and cried like her father always did. Ranma smiled in silence and put an arm around her for comfort and started rubbing her back.
Ryouga stepped up to the bed and made no effort to hold back a few tears. “You gave us all a scare buddy. What happened? Shampoo and Mousse found you unconscious in the bath tub.” Ranma scratched his head a bit with a smile.
“Can’t say I know really. Lets not worry about it, ok?”
Ryouga gave him a cold look. “Don’t play Mr. Tough-guy. None of us want any thing bad happening to you, especially me. I’m not letting my best competition escape me that easily.”
Ranma just gave him his usual look. “Now, look who’s playing Mr. Tough-guy? I need out of this
bed.”
Soun leapt from the ground and too Ranma’s side, sending Ryouga flying. “No! You must stay here and rest my boy! I don’t want any relapses happening to you. I’m responsible for your well-being, so please listen.”
Ranma shook his head. “Don’t think I don’t appreciate it, because I do, but I don’t want Akane spending the night in a place like this again.”
Soun’s tears broke into twin waterfalls. “Such a brave boy! Always thinking of my little Akane first… WAHHHH!!!” The water fountain outside the room was turning green with envy.
After much provoking, Ranma was home but was immediately sent to bed. He complied, putting up one of his fronts and crawled into bed. ‘Need to catch up with my reading anyways…’ Ranma opened up one of the books he hadn’t managed to look at yet, but due to recent events he now had an interest. ‘3000 years of Amazon Secret Arts. This could be interesting. Seems to be all about ki control and techniques.’
Ranma was reading for about 2 solid hours until he felt some one in the room. “Yes? How can I help you Ghoul?” There was a quiet laugh in response.
“Quite good son-in-law. Not too many people can sense me coming.”
“Yeah, yeah. I’m freakin’ amazing. Now what do you want?”
Cologne coughed and collected herself from Ranma’s bluntness. “Mine your manners boy. I’ve only come to ask you a question.”
“No.”
“No, what?”
“No, I wasn’t in a coma. I was in the middle of a mind dive and got set back a little.”
Cologne laughed louder this time. “You! A mind dive!? Ha! Don’t lie to me boy! Not even the supreme elders can attempt such ancient techniques.
Ranma closed his book and put it away under the covers. “That’s because you morons probably misinterpret all the books written about it and tried to use some mutant form of Greek to translate it. All the books were written in code you know?”
Cologne raised and eyebrow, “How would you know that, child? Elders throughout the generations have been trying to decode it from its original form. That and there is only one copy in the entire world, which I’m proud to say that my tribe has a firm hold of.”
Ranma stretched and yawned. “Can’t be that firm. When was the last time you guys even read it? Must have been more then three months ago.”
“I last saw that book before I left for here a week ago. It’s a national treasure to us.”
Ranma shook his head. “I didn’t ask the last time you looked at it. I asked you when was the last time you read it?”
“…..what are you telling me boy?”
“I’m telling you that I went through your village around three months ago and switched the pages with some thing else.”
Colognes eyes went wide again and her face contorted with anger. “You lie! No one has ever been near that book but an elder!”
“And the 2 female guards you position in front of the book room.”
Cologne went silent and began thinking. “What did you replace our books with…?”
Ranma put a hand on his chin and started thinking. “Lets see… I’m pretty sure it was a Michel Bolton Autobiography and a few key pages from the Karma Sutra.”
Cologne bowed her head and went pale. “You……. You replaced my peoples national treasures with an autobiography about Michel Bolton….?”
“And a few key pages from the Karma Sutra.”
Cologne lunged at Ranma in a screaming fit.
The Tendo family heard the ruckus up stairs and went in for an investigation. Akane was the first through the door to see Ranma and Cologne finish fighting. Cologne had her staff out and buried in Ranma’s chest. ‘Ahhh. Crap! She got my cat tongue pressure point…”
WACK!
“Show some ignorance!”
“Sorry.”
Cologne went to the window ready for her escape. “If you want the cure, then marry my granddaughter and return the books!”
Ranma threw a desk at her. “Get out of here ya old bat! You aren’t getting your damn books back!”
Cologne escaped and made her way to the area she rented out.
Akane came in and started checking Ranma all over. “Are you ok? She didn’t do any thing did she?” Ranma shook his head and let an annoyed look slide on his face quickly.
“Nahh, nothing really. She just got my cat tongue pressure point. I won’t be able to stand hot water, so I’m just going to get this over with.” Ranma picked up a random glass of water and dumped it on himself. “There, now I’m pretty much stuck as a girl until I can figure out what the cure is.”
Akane let out a sigh of relief, but also gave her an odd look. “Aren’t you kind of worried that you’ll be stuck like that forever?”
Ranma shrugged her shoulders. “I’ve been through worse, and there is always a cure of some sort in the world.”
“I’d take this a little bit more seriously Ranma… Lately you’ve been getting deathly sick and falling into comas. I’m just waiting for your arms to fall off for no real reason other then to fall off for the sake of falling off…”
Ranma raised her head into the air a bit and gave that a thought. “Ya know? I never really thought about it, but its quite possible.”
Akane shook her head slowly. “Please don’t say that…”
Ranma gave a look towards the door and noticed that every one had left due to a lack of a show. The only ones that stayed behind were Ryouga and Akane. Ranma sat on the bed and started thinking. “You know what guys. I think I’m going to have to fill you in on a few things, that I’ve neglected to tell you two. Every one seems to know lately and I don’t feel like keeping you guys in the dark.”
Akane looked at her with soft eyes. “Did something else, bad happen to you?”
“Not really bad… In fact, it’s more like a great thing happened to me. This involves you too Ryouga. You’re the reason I was in a coma today.”
Ryouga started panicking thinking about when he beat up Ranma, and all those morning training sessions before school. “Err… Uhhh… ha ha….” Ryouga seemed to lose his voice to respond properly and started waiting for his punishment.
Ranma looked at his stupor and raised an eyebrow. “Yo! Ryouga! Snap out of it! I need you functioning right now!” She snapped her fingers in front of his face and he came back to reality, expecting to be hit.
Ranma pointed a thumb towards Ryouga and looked at Akane. “What’s his problem?” Akane could only shrug her shoulders.
Ranma sat down with the two in front of her and began to tell about her magic…
