Hey Mikki! Thanks for the review :D So I'm assuming that Omaki and Heiku is from Kira's Taming Riki right? sorry to say i haven't read very much of her work. I'm a broke ass and couldn't afford to read it :< so I'm not familiar with them. No i kinda ripped off the thought of the arm from Edward "Ed" on Full Metal Alchemist...only with skin...maybe hehehehe. Thanks Chicky! and i hope every one likes this chapter!

Katze tried to relax as he sipped his flavored drink. Being the center of attention was not something he was use to. �Tell me again why the hell I�m here with you?�
�For the hundredth time were here to look for that pet.�
�Ahh yes the pet that can magically command anyone to do anything he wants them to do but you right?�
�Can the sarcasm or would you rather go home and wait on your cushy pillow for your Blondie to come home?�
�Shut up Riki.� Katze sighed. He could feel the eyes of all the pets in the saloon on them. When he was a Furniture he had been trained to be unseen and that training had worked to his advantage in the Black Market. He couldn�t understand how Riki could take it. Being watched all the time it was diving him nuts and he�d only been here twice.

�Why do I have to meet this pet?�
�Because I need your skills in helping me convince him to do what I want. You also won�t believe me unless you see for yourself what the kid can do.�
�Why do I feel like there is more to it then that?�
Riki grinned at Katze. �Ya well maybe I also want to see if the kid�s voodoo works on you.�
�You�re such an ass Riki.�
�Talking about asses how is yours? I didn�t know you had it in you old boy, swimming in forbidden waters.�
�I wouldn�t talk. Look at you.� Katze said pointing to the hickeys high up on Riki�s neck just below his ear above his pet collar.
�What these? Bah, they pale in comparison to the ones I have on the rest of my body.� Riki said with a wink.
�Looks like someone tried to eat you.�
�Maybe because I was �eaten�. Besides I�m old news and your not so spill.�
�There is nothing to tell. It won�t last.�
�How so?�
Katze turned fully towards Riki. �Whatever Raoul was thinking last night was probably just plain curiosity, a whim, it won�t happen again.�
�Reeeaaalllyy? So his working you over this morning was also just another whim of his?�
Katze blinked at Riki. �How the hell do you know that? The only one that- Niko!� Katze hissed.
�I�m amazed it took you that long to figure it out. You really are off your game. That Blondie of yours is messing up your brain.�
�Shut up Riki.�
�You�ve been saying that a lot too. But seriously Katze if you think that Raoul doing you was out of mere curiosity then you�re sadly mistaken. One thing I do know about Blonde�s is that they don�t do things like we do. Everything they do is for a reason, it�s thought out, planned. Hell even if Raoul did loose is mind for a split second which resulted in him banging you but don�t think for a second that it�s over between the both of you. Form where I sit the party is just getting started.� Riki gave Katze a leveled look. �You should know this shit Katze. You�ve been under Iason�s thumb for what? Fifteen years?�
�If Jupiter finds out-�
�So what? Iason, which you already know, has been doing it to me for five years and Jupiter hasn�t done a thing to him or me.�
Why didn�t Jupiter do anything? Katze thought. It was foolish to think that she didn�t know what kind of relationship Iason had with his pet especially when Iason didn�t try to hide it. What made Riki so special that she would over look the biggest taboo an Elite could break? Maybe that�s what Iason was trying to find out and why he wanted him to look into Riki�s med files? He was at a stand still in finding new information that�s why he had recruited Alex. But maybe�
�Hey Riki�?�
�Umm?�
�Your doctor visits-�
�Hi Riki.�
Katze was interrupted as a soft voice spoke. A pretty light haired pet stood in front of them clad in normal pet attire that pretty much covered only his groin and nothing else.
�Fucking finally kid. You know how long I�ve been waiting for you?�
Katze watched as the pet blushed prettily then grunted as Riki smacked him in the gut with the back of his hand.
�This is Jade and Jade this is-�
�Katze, yes I heard all about you from my master�s Furniture.�
�Did you now?� Katze said coolly.
�Sit down kid.� Riki said moving over so the pet could sit between him and Katze.
The pet looked behind him before sitting down. Katze followed his glaze to see another pet, a very lovely pet, sitting across the room looking back at them. �Who is that?�
�That�s my friend.�
Katze noted that out of all the pets in the saloon that pet had to be the only one modestly, besides Riki and himself, dressed out of them all, unusual for a pet to be dressed like that. �Why didn�t he come over with you?�
�He�s shy that�s all.�
Riki made a mover as if to get up. �Why don�t I go get him? Maybe he�ll get over it once he meets us?�
�Please don�t!� Jade grabbed Riki�s arm.
Riki narrowed his eyes and Jade. �Is there a problem with me going to get him?�
�I lied�Lilly isn�t shy��
�Then what? He doesn�t want his perfect image to be tainted by being seen with me?� Riki said in a low dangerous tone.
�No! Lilly�s not like that, I swear!�
Katze saw that it seemed like the pet across the room was restraining himself from coming over. �Is there a reason why he can�t come over to speak with us Jade?� Katze said calmly.
�Yes�please Riki don�t go over to him��
Riki looked over to Katze who shook his head slightly. Flopping himself back down on the sofa he pinned the pet with an angry look but refrained from saying anything when Katze shook his head at him again.
�Why can�t he come over here Jade?� Katze said smoothing his tone, making his words as unthreatening as possible. Maybe it was a good thing he came. Riki could have gotten the answers from the pet from with ease but his way would have had the pet crying in terror and fleeing for safety and also killed any chase Riki had of using the pet.
�He really likes and admires you Riki and would love to talk to you��
�It�s hard to hold a conversation when he�s all the way across the room Jade.� Riki said irritated.
�I know and he knows that as well��
�But?� Katze said gently.
�But Lilly has a very strict master. If he behaves inappropriately in any way then he�ll get punished. Even his association with a lowly pet like me could get him in trouble.�
Riki sighed. �Is his master a Blondie?�
Jade nodded.
�Surely the kid can relax a little in the saloon?�
�Umm�His master is a very traditional Blondie and he tends to know everything that he does. Because I�m a no body and everyone doesn�t want to say my name or let anyone else know they know my name word doesn�t seem to get back to his master about our friendship.�
�But if he were to be seen with Riki.� Katze said.
�Yes�Lilly is very beautiful and everyone wants to be with him, everyone is always watching him so if he were seen next Riki�s beauty the whirl wind it would cause his master would hear about it in a heartbeat.�
�Beautiful? I�m not ugly but I�m in no way beautiful.� Riki said.
Katze didn�t bother to comment. Riki didn�t see what others saw. He didn�t see how his hair color alone, with its almost unnatural shine, made him standout. How his bronze skin made others want to touch it to see if it was as soft as they thought even daring to do so just so they could feel the sharpness of his fangs.
�Who is your master Jade?� Katze asked just to change the subject.
�Please don�t tell me your master is a Jade. But it would surprise me if it was, it would be just like them to name a pet after themselves.� Riki said relaxing, forgetting all about the anger he felt to the pet across the room.
Laughing Jade shook his head. �No my master is an Onyx. He�s a government official so this past week he took me with him off world to visit the neighboring planets. I got my name because of my eyes.�
�So I told Katze all about your gift in making people do anything you want.�
Katze stopped the pet from bolting, grabbing him by the wrist. Riki never was one to beat around the bush. �Calm down Jade.�
�Let go of me.�
Katze shivered as the voice the pet used changed, it was smooth, silky and feminine even, the way the words rolled off his tongue. The pitch changed completely from what it was before it was even a little husky too, seductive, an it felt like someone was licking down his spine. It felt good.
�I said let me go now.�
Katze shuddered and tightened his hold on the pet. �Stop talking and sit back down.�
�I take it; it didn�t work on you Katze?� Riki said grinning. �You might as well sit down kid.�
Jade gingerly sat back down, there really wasn�t a choice not to since Katze had a firm grip on him preventing him from escaping.
�You said you wouldn�t tell anyone.�
Riki looked at him apologetically. �Sorry about that kid. Don�t worry I didn�t tell anyone else and Katze didn�t say anything, right Katze?�
�It was too stupid to repeat.�
Riki rolled his eyes. �Thanks Katze.�
�What do you want from me?� Jade softly ask thankfully in his normal voice.
Riki scouted close and leaned in even closer. �I want you to get some information for me from the outside, Ceres to be exact.�
Jade stared into those black depthless eyes. �How could I do something like that? I�m not allowed outside, not by myself and never anywhere near Ceres.�
Katze could see where Riki was talking this. �But you can get someone to go to Ceres can't you? From what I hear Riki say you can command anyone to do anything you want.�
�N-no.�
�I need your help Jade,� Riki said with a somber expression. �I have a friend out in Ceres that I need to find. He�s in a lot of trouble and I need to find him. He�s in danger all because of me and I can�t just sit back in this gilded cage while he�s being hunted down like a dog. So I�m asking you Jade for your help.�
Katze looked at Riki, who was avoiding his glaze and continued to stare at the pet. He wondered why Riki wanted him here. Why he told him about the pet and what he could do and also his plans on finding Guy. He knew he was looking for him as well for Iason. That any information he got he would have to report it. Riki didn�t need him to convince the pet to do what he wanted which meant Riki needed him for a specific reason.
�I can�t.�
�Yes you can Jade, you can but your just scared.� Riki leaned in closer and whispered. �Think about it Jade but think quickly I want an answer before I leave here.�
Katze sighed; maybe the kid really did bring him to help convince the pet. �Jade there must be something you want in exchange.�
�Something I want?�
�You do something for us and we�ll do something for you. Every one has something they want so help us and we�ll help you get what ever it is you want.�
�If I did help you what do you want me to do?�
�Do your thing on some poor sap and have him find Guy or anything about a one armed Mongrel, anything that would be useful in locating him.�
�Can I talk to my friend please?�
�Let him go Katze. And Jade, don�t try to run. I will come after you.�
The pet nodded. �I won�t run I promise.�
Katze watched the pet walk away from them. �You think he�ll help you?�
�Ya I do. He wants something from me that�s the only reason why he showed me what he could do. Once he saw that his gift didn�t work on me he had to rethink his game plan.�
�And where do I come in to this?�
Riki grinned at Katze. �You�re my go too guy Katze. I don�t have a good hand in this game, nothing to offer him. Whatever he wants I can�t give it to him, not in here. That�s where you come in.�
�I�m happy I could be of service.� Katze said dryly.
Riki slapped Katze on the knee. �Thanks Katze.�

Jade sat next to the only friend he had, taking a perfect hand in his he held onto him tightly and looked into pale light brown, beige, almond shaped eyes. �It went just like you said it would. If I help them they�ll do something for me.�
�What do they want?�
�They want me to shade someone and get them to go over to Area 9 to find information on someone.� Jade whispered. Shade or shading was what Lilly and he called his gift because what he did was accentually shrouding his target with his will, shading from their own thoughts them and taking command of their actions for a while. But he needed to be careful because not everyone he used it on would fall under his spell and some reacted in a different way that�s how he met Lilly.
He had tried to shade a guard and almost got raped that�s why he had to be very careful; he didn�t know how the other would react. Lilly had gotten him off of him before he could succeed and got them away. He was the first person that he gift didn�t work on either and also the first person Lilly confessed to having a gift of his own as well. They were the best of friends.
�That�s going to be a little difficult.�
�Yes�I will need your help. I�ve already picked my target but what I need to do I don�t think I can do it on my own.�
Lilly squeezed Jade�s hand. �I�ll try my best to help. What is the plan? Who�s the target?�
�The server is the target.�
�Good that guy is always an asshole to you.�
�That�s the reason why I picked him.� Jade laughed. �What I want to do is tricky which is why I will need your help. I can�t have him remembering anything that I�m doing to him and I can�t keep coming back to order him to keep looking for information like Riki wants. When I do this I want to do it so that after a certain time he�ll just go do it and not remember anything. We have done it before.�
�But only for a day. How long will we have to shade him for?�
�I don�t know�How about we try for a week? We can some back the day after tomorrow and see if he�s still under and if need be to reinforce the command.�
�The day after tomorrow should be fine. There is an event that my Master is taking me to that night so we would have to come early in the afternoon. You will be coming won�t you?�
�Yes. All are to attend so my Master and I will be there.�
�Then go and tell Riki you�ll do it and get his word first that he�ll do what you want and the word from the Black Market boss.�

�They�ve been talking for a long time.�
�Let them talk as long as he says yes I don�t care how long they take.�
Katze looked at Riki and the deceivingly relaxed pose he was in. If the pet made any sudden moves to leave Riki would be off to drag him back.
�Riki about Guy��
�I know Katze.�
�If you know then why did you bring me in? You know I�m helping Iason try and track him down. That any information I get I�ll have to report it to him.�
�As I said this kid wants something and what ever it is I want to be sure I can give it to him, that�s why I�ll need your help. I hate to use you like this but I want to get to Guy before Iason.�
�Riki��
�I need to try and save him Katze.�
With the stubborn determined look on Riki�s face Katze didn�t bother trying to talk Riki out of it. Guy couldn�t be saved no matter what Riki did. The only reason Iason didn�t have his hands on the Mongrel already was because there were no maps of Ceres, not even old ones.
Jupiter had every piece of information of Ceres (Area 9) destroyed after the great rebellion. Given a map of Tanagura you�d see Ceres blacked out or not there at all. So tracking the mutt if he were deep in the slums was near impossible. His informants were coming up with nothing. It was like he dropped off the face of the planet.
�I�m not asking you to lie to Iason just�just keep the pet�s involvement out of it. I just need a head start Katze.�
�Riki-�
�He�s coming back.�
Didn�t matter what Katze said. When Riki�s mind was set there was no one, not even Iason, could change it.
�So how about it Jade? What�s your answer?�
�I�ll do it.�
�But?�
�But I want your word as well as Katze�s word that when my time comes to be retired you will help me that you�ll save me from being dismembered and used for parts or sold to a whore house.�
Katze gave Riki a side ways look. He never thought the pet would ask for this and from the look Riki returned neither did he.
�That won�t be a problem kid. In fact that�ll be a piece of cake. When the time comes I�ll just make sure to buy you the moment your time here comes to a close.� Katze said.
�And I want a job as something that doesn�t have me lying on my back or on all fours or with my-�
�We get the picture Jade.� Riki said holding his hand out. �We got ourselves a deal.� Riki held onto Jade�s hand a few seconds longer before letting him go so Katze could seal the deal with a hand shake of his own.
�Why don�t you use your voice on your Master so he doesn�t retire you?� Katze asked.
�And if it doesn�t work on him like it doesn�t work on the two of you? I don�t want to end up on a steel table being dissected by elite scientists or worse kept alive and experimented on for the rest of my life.�
�You don�t have to say any more Jade. I wouldn�t want that either.�
�Then I�ll get started if you�ll excuse me.�
Katze watched as Jade walked away again, his mind turning back to what the pet just said. �Hey Riki, tonight can you tell Iason that I need to talk to him.�
�About the job your doing for him?�
�Yes.� He should have a message from Alex on any additional information he found back at the apartment already.
�Ya I�ll tell him.� Riki leaned forward. �Why the hell is he following him?�
Katze turned his head to see what Riki was talking about. Jade�s friend was walking next to Jade and stopped with him, Katze narrowed his eyes. �He�s talking to the waiter.�
Riki shook his head. �No it looks like he�s repeating everything Jade is saying to the guy.�
�Why?�
�Don�t know and at the moment I don�t care. As long as he gets me what I need I don�t care.�
