Fourteen Days
Fourteen Days
The pages were crumpled and full of creases. Sloppy writing littered the page in various colors of pen and pencil marks. Every so often a picture could be seen glued to a page. It looked a bit like a scarp book thrown together by a five year old, but following the dates back, it probably was.
October 3rd:
Last night Akane and I had a talk… I’m screwed up. I talked her into committing me. Lord knows I can’t do it myself. It’s impossible for me to trap myself. I need time to get my thoughts straight. I need time away from confusion and anger. So now I’m here. Glass walls and no windows. All I see is that institutional green around me. It’s said to calm you down, but my thoughts are too busy whirling around. I wonder what the doctors will tell me? I won’t know until tomorrow I guess, but what the hell. It’s not like I’ll be listening to them. I know where my problem is. I know what my problem is. Funny thing though. I don’t really care right now. I feel a lot of meditating coming my way…
October 4th:
Sexually confused. Gender confused. Delusional. Depressed. Boarder line schizophrenia. Bipolar. Violent Mood swings. Outbursts of rage. Self hate. Multiple Personality, Possible case of extreme mental trauma. Possible case of self-mutilation. Suggested that all sessions be done through intercom until mental situation becomes stabilized. Meds may make situation worse. I wonder what gave it all away? Mind you the doctor seems to think he knows all about every thing. You can’t understand someone in a 3 hour session. This moron thinks I can’t stand hot water at the moment because of some thing that happened in my childhood. It goes with out saying that he doesn’t believe that I’m cursed with magic. Not that I blame him, but I’m still going to have to prove him wrong, but I think I’m going to play with this guy for a while and then knock him down a few pegs with some cold hard truth. This guy is a serious quack a complete joke, I’m glad Dr. Tofu is going to be coming here from time to time. It’ll give me a chance to speak with some one with a working brain. Hmmm. I wonder what the he’s is thinking right now? I think I’ll go check…
October 6th:
Yesterday and today were really tiring. Akane and Ryouga came in for a visit. I told them not to worry about me, but I guess when you have friends as good as that, it\'s impossible for them to listen. Then again I don’t blame them. I haven’t made any progress with my thoughts lately though. Mind you I’m getting time to clear my head. These damn doctors just keep annoying me with stupid questions. I asked Ryouga to get the Phoenix pill from the old bat for me. I tried a bunch of other pressure points to counter the cat tongue thing but the old woman was thorough. I guess I’d be pissed too if some one stole all my treasures, but it’s a hobby. Speaking of which, I saw the good doctors mind the other night. What an ass hole. If any one should be in one of these cages it’s him. He seriously thinks he helps people. I guess that’s understandable though. Lord knows doodling on your note pad while some one confesses their nightmares and sins too you, must be pretty hard work. I wonder how long until they start putting me on meds as a final solution? That’s the standard hopeless mans cure. If you can’t reason with them, then give them a bottle of pills while they drool in self-pity. I’ll reject them of coarse, I know I don’t need them, but I can’t help but think they’ll pin me down and inject it into my ass or something. Maybe this wasn’t the best spot to clear my head…
October 7th:
I had a dream last night. I was with a beautiful girl. Swimming in an ocean of bliss. The warm water surrounded us as we swam. And if you’d believe it a man floated up from the deep darkness and joined us. When I woke up I thought it was a nightmare at first, until I realized some thing. I’m in love with them both. I told the doctor this and he asked me some questions again. I’ve never been asked if I was a lesbian before. I said, ‘no, but I might be gay.’ That made him look at me funny. It was kind of new to me, but onto other things. Ryouga got the pill for me today so tomorrow should be interesting. I can practically taste the morphine. I should really wait this out, but as usual I just can’t wait. I’ve really got to learn how to put my foot in my mouth. It seems it’ll be the end of me one of these days.
October 8th:
Now last night I did have a nightmare. It happens every so often to every one, but this one was new. It felt like a reoccurring one, but this was the first time I’ve had it. I was back in China surrounded by weird people. I knew these people were bad and I knew they needed to be stopped. However I was powerless. I hate that feeling. Actually I don’t think any one likes that feeling. I bet the doctor felt pretty powerless when he came to my cell and saw a guy inside. There was bit of confusion that I found pretty funny. They didn’t know if they should keep me at the women’s institute or send me to a men’s institute. I swear Dr. Lowe is looking at me as some sort of science experiment now. I guess he’s actually paying attention now. It’s weird though. I’m starting to feel a bit odd lately. I bet they’re slipping some thing into my food. Hell I don’t care any more. The more time I have to myself in my own head, the more I can figure things out. Every thing is still hazy though. But lord help him if he has something planned for me. No, I can’t think like that. Revenge is a terrible thing. An eye for and eye makes the world go blind.
October 13th:
I woke up and cried this morning. I was on a table with needles jammed all over me. I was naked and a woman. I was wet as well. They’d forgotten about me and started focusing on my body. I guess they forgot to drug me to keep me asleep. I didn’t want to wake up like this ever. I felt hot water hit me and I was a guy again. I opened my eyes a little to see a bunch of old men writing on note pads. I snapped and wasn’t myself for a bit. I broke the bonds holding me and started pulling the needles out. A nurse came in and tried to stop me. I broke that bitch’s arm. A bunch of guys came in and tried to wrestle me down. I hope they’re in beds right now. I tore the place up and found Dr. Lowe. I dislocated a few joints and started going through his notes. The bastard had sold me to science. I stapled his hands to his desk with a couple of pens. Unlucky for every one, I have had some time to think in my absence. I’m not sure why, but I have to go back to where all my trouble started. I’m going back to China. There’s a gathering, and I need to go…
October 16th:
Dear Akane and Ryouga. I’m lost. Every thing is moving. I can’t help it. My nightmares are tormenting me. I haven’t slept in 4 days. I have to go back to China. I ask that nobody follow me. My existence is coming to an end. I’ve been assigned a mission that I might not come back from. I have to stop it. I have to end the cycle. I know you will follow despite my warning. I have left you clues to find me. The old woman knows. I have erased your memory, so I can stay ahead. Be careful when you find me. I’m not myself. I’m losing it. It might be the drugs but the effects are lasting too long. I’m losing myself. My sins are eating me alive. I can barely think straight. I can’t die. Lord knows I’ve tried…
“I don’t get it…”
“Get what Akane?”
“These journal entries. Some thing isn’t right about them.”
Ryouga crossed his arms and looked closely at the pages. “I’ll say. It sounds like he’s gone off the deep end.”
Akane stared blankly half in thought, and half somewhere else in her head. “No. That’s not what I mean. I know Ranma isn’t the most colorful of all writers, but some thing isn’t right. Every thing written in here sounds so forced, like he was trying to write it like that. It feels fake…”
Ryouga scratched his chin. “What do you make of it then?”
“I’m not sure… But I think we should go check a few things out.”
“Like the institute?”
“Exactly. What time is it?”
Ryouga looked over to the nightstand. “It’s almost four. We won’t be able to get in for a while. I say we go see if Nabiki has any thing yet.”
Akane nodded and they both made their way to Nabiki’s room.
“Got any thing sis?”
Nabiki blinked a few times and turned her head to Akane. “A few things so far. I’m just running through them quickly, but you might want to take a look at a few things.”
“Like?”
“Yourself.”
“Huh?”
Nabiki popped out a tape and put in another. It was dated October 8th. “This is you coming home from school with Shampoo and Mousse. Sorry I don’t have any audio, I think Ranma did something to my system.”
Akane came into the black and white picture followed by the other two teens. Akane didn’t have any real expression on her face. Shampoo seemed to be saying some thing, but Akane wasn’t paying any attention. Mousse gave a nod and seemed to agree with what ever she was saying. Akane put a hand on the door when suddenly Shampoo grabbed her arm and swiftly reached into Akane’s handbag. Akane suddenly sprang to life and grabbed what ever Shampoo had and smacked her hard enough to send her staggering back. They were getting ready to launch at each other when Mousse stepped in and stopped them. Nabiki stopped the tape and switched the VCR to another line. The screen showed Akane inside a few moments later up against the front door crying. She opened up a bottle of pills and took a few. A few moments later she started banging her head on the door. Kasumi came running into the picture and grabbed her. The tape was stopped and the line was switched again. Akane was in the living room with Ryouga and holding onto him. He seemed to be holding her gently, not in a loving way, but in a captive manner. Not letting her out of his sights. Akane looked hard at the picture and then at Ryouga. “What’s wrong with me? Why am I acting so weird?”
Nabiki grabbed her attention again. “Ever since the earlier tape, the day Ranma left, you started getting depressed. That’s what I’m guessing anyways. By the amount of time you spent at home and the delays between school times, I’m also guessing that you weren’t seeing him in the institute either.”
“I wonder why…? Hey, how did you know about the institute?”
Nabiki raised an eyebrow. “Would you like to see the tape from October 2nd? Late at night? That one is in full color and it has audio.”
Akane went bright red. “Let’s stay away from that one… I’d rather not want any one to see that… Especially Ryouga…”
Ryouga went red this time. “Kinda too late…”
Cologne awoke from her deep thought and asked. “What happened that night?”
Akane bowed her head. “It’s not important… Ranma and I just had a talk… He wanted me to commit him to an institute…”
“From looks of it, you commit Ranma. Why he want to go there?”
Akane looked at Shampoo and tried to think of a way to explain it. “He… He wasn’t thinking straight. He had a lot on his mind and probably still does. He’s always confused with himself. I didn’t want him to go, but he talked me into it… He said he needed time to think…” Akane’s voice started dying down and trailing off as she remembered the conversation.
“It still doesn’t explain where he is now though.” Cologne huffed and thought.
Akane waved a hand. “Oh, that’s easy. He’s going back to China.”
Cologne eyed her up for a few seconds. “How do you know?”
“He left us a note in his journal. He also said he’s leaving us clues to find him. Here. Read it. You might be able to figure some thing out.” Akane tossed the book Cologne’s way and the old woman started reading.
Nabiki waved every one’s attention back to the screen. “By the way guys. Do any of you know this person? This guy started coming around a lot after October 9th.”
Every one looked into the screen to see a hansom man with a cross look on his face. Nabiki started fast-forwarding the conversation. After a while the boy stomped off and left. “Never seen him before. Have you Ryouga?”
Ryouga shook his head. “Not one of my friends.”
Nabiki got a lazy look in her eyes. “That’s too bad… He starts coming around a lot and he has a lot of conversations with dad and Akane. I had one with him too, and Kasumi had three. He always leaves looking a bit disappointed or really sad. I wish we had a name to go off of here, some thing tells me Ranma didn’t erase his memory.”
Shampoo got a thoughtful look on her face. “Maybe he come around again. We just wait?”
Ryouga was thinking now. “I guess we can do that… What the hell is Ranma up too…?” Ryouga scratched his head and tried thinking it out, but failed. “Errr! I say we call your guys\' shop. Maybe they found some thing…”
Cologne pulled herself from the book and looked at Ryouga. “You read my thoughts boy.” She pulled off a lose piece of paper and quickly wrote down the phone number.
*Ring*
{Hello?}
{Hey, Mousse, it’s Ryouga. Found any thing yet?}
{Not really. I’ve made a checklist, but every thing seems to be here. The only thing we can’t seem to find is Shampoo’s passport.}
Ryouga gave a pause and started thinking again. {Does it look like it was stolen?}
Mousse gave some consideration himself. {Well… No. We kept all of our travel gear in our rooms. Ranma trashed the herbs and spices cabinet, as well as most of the kitchen. I’m pretty sure he was looking for the old woman’s magical stuff.}
Suddenly the little men inside Ryouga’s head started working over time, and he started thinking in a style that was more out side the box. {Thanks Mousse… I’ll get back to you in a bit. Call here if you find out any thing new.}
{We’re actually coming back over right now. We’ll be there in ten mins.}
{Ok. I’ll fill in the other of what you found.}
{….We haven’t found any thing though….}
{I’ll explain later. Just get back over here.}
{Ok. See ya.}

Ryouga started pacing in the hallway with his head bowed and hand on his chin. The cogs in his head slowly turning yet picking up speed. He made his way back to Nabiki’s room and stood over her shoulder. “Hey. Can you do me a favor?”
Nabiki was about to ask for a fee, but decided it wasn’t that kind of time. “What is it?”
“Show us the tape of when Ranma left.”
Nabiki shrugged and popped in the tape containing Ranma’s departure. He watched as Ranma turned and walked away with the two men. “There! Pause it!”
Nabiki did so and backtracked in slow motion. “What do you see?”
Ryouga closed one eye and looked at the screen. He grabbed the diary from Cologne and held it beside the screen. “Ranma wrote that he was going to leave us clues to figure out where to find him.” Ryouga stayed focused on the screen with the journal beside it. “Ah ha! You were right Akane!”
Akane blinked and looked at the screen. “Huh? Right about what?”
“You said this journal didn’t feel right. Mousse told me a few things and it got me thinking. We all know how Ranma acts, and how he thinks… Sort of… You guys don’t know this, but Ranma does. I’m color blind in one eye, and these video’s are telling me some thing.” Ryouga pointed to the book in Ranma’s hands. “The book he’s holding here is actually red, or a deep purple of some kind.” He held up the journal. “This one is black. Nabiki? Did he know about your surveillance system?”
Nabiki looked at him like he was stupid. “What didn’t Ranma know about this place? When he first got here he waved at every single one of my cameras. It creped me out at first, but later on he stopped doing it and started looking oblivious.”
There was the sound of footsteps coming up the stairs and soon every one was in Nabiki’s room again. Shampoo looked up at Mousse and asked. “What you find?”
“Eh? Oh, nothing really. We just can’t seem to find your passport, other then that ever thing is accounted for in the store.”
Nabiki had a thought as well, but waited to hear more. Ryouga spoke up. “Yeah. My guess is that he took it. He wants to cross boarders with out giving away his identity. I guess he can look like Shampoo, but he’s going to need to-“
“No he won’t.” He stopped and looked at Nabiki and raised a questioning eye. “Ranma can shape shift. He uses magic remember? I’ve seen him do it before. He can look like any one he’s ever met.”
Soun looked at them. “But why would that boy want to cross the boarder as this young lady?”
Mousse questioned as well. “And why would he trash our place if he was looking for Shampoo’s passport. I told you that the things in our bedrooms weren’t touched.”
Nabiki was starting to see what Ryouga was as well. “It was a diversion…”
Ryouga pointed to her and smiled. “Yup.”
Akane started thinking about how Ranma did his deeds. “I guess that sounds right.”
Mousse adjusted his glasses and looked down. “I don’t get it…”
Nabiki looked at him with a smug smile. “Ranma is an out standing thief. He can be perfectly silent. He can lift things from you that you think you have your hand on. He’s amazing that way. He wouldn’t have made noise in you shop unless he had a reason to.”
Shampoo pointed to the journal. “But husband go wacko. It say in book. Maybe he not so smart no more.”
Cologne had her mind thinking as well. “No dear. They are right. This book is a fake. It was planted here for us to find.”
Nabiki got up on the high horse. “Yes. These are his first clues. He meant to wake you guys up. He meant for us to be here. He’s made a plan and we’re following it. I also got a theory on the passport too. I’m betting some serious yen that he’s not going directly to China. He’s doing some thing else as well, and he wants us to follow him. And with Shampoo’s passport, he’ll be doing things on the way there. It’ll just seem like some sweet country girl is making her way home. It’s easier to go home then some where far away…”
Akane started pacing around the room mumbling to her self, but only pieces could be heard. “What’s he planning…? Why is he doing this…?”
There was a silence in the room as every one took in the information given to them, until Kasumi broke it by saying. “Ukyo.”
A few heads turned to her with confused looks while Nabiki caught where Kasumi was looking. “You know this guy on the tape?”
Kasumi shook her head. “No, but that’s what I just called him.”
Soun put a finger in his ear and jived it around. “My hearing must be going, I can’t hear a thing.”
Nabiki raised an eyebrow at Kasumi and stated. “I didn’t know you could read lips?”
Kasumi blushed and looked down for a few seconds. “Well, I spend a lot of time in the kitchen and some times I can’t hear what people are saying to me. I picked it up I guess.”
Nabiki smiled. “Which means we can figure out a few things now. Sis we got work to do.”
“Oh, my! But I have chores to do today. It’s almost time for breakfast.”
Every one had a giant sweat drop over their heads, until Soun came to the rescue. “Don’t worry about it dear. I can make it. Please help your sister, we have quite a day ahead of us…”
Every one decided to take a break and try out some of dad’s home made cooking. It was rancid and didn’t help the mood at all. Every one was quiet and thinking, but Akane was the only out spoken one. “This is annoying! We know where he’s going, why don’t we go after him!?”
Nabiki looked over to her father and asked. “Think we can afford a trip to China dad?”
Soun sipped his tea and slowly shook his head. “It’s tough to support a large family on such a budget as mine.”
Nabiki looked back to Akane. “I’m open for suggestions, if you have any that is. I guess we could do what Ranma did and swim across the ocean to China, but I don’t think some of us could do that. Ryouga could if he didn’t have a curse, but I don’t think any one else. How about you guys?” Nabiki pointed her eyes over to the Amazons and Mousse answered.
“Err… We spent most of our travel money coming here. We have some, but we haven’t been in business long enough to make enough money for a return trip. I think we were planning on staying for a while.”
Ryouga tilted his head back in thought. “We could walk it, but we wouldn’t make good time at all. I got a feeling Ranma’s got some thing in mind for traveling. Flying seems a bit too rich, so I’m guessing he’s boating it.”
Shampoo thought for a second. “How many people come to China? Are all going?”
There was another silence around the table and Soun started off. “I know one of my girls is going for sure, and I can’t let her go alone.”
Ryouga crossed his arms coolly. “Don’t think I’m staying behind. I’ve chased him down before and I’m more then willing to do it again.”
Nabiki shifted in her seat and got that sly look in her eye. “As much as I’d like to stay out of this, I can’t help but know I’m going to be needed some how. Besides, I’ve always wanted to visit China.”
Cologne looked up from her served rice goo. “I think it goes with out saying that we are going. We are obligated to protect our village from danger.” Shampoo and Mousse both nodded in agreement.
Akane looked over to Kasumi. “Are you staying behind?”
“Oh, heavens no! I wouldn’t know what to do with myself here all by myself.”
Soun cried a little at that, but every thing was said. Nabiki almost stood up. “Now all we have to do is figure out how to get there. By the way, this may be a long shot, but does any one know anything about hand signals?”
Cologne looked up at her. “I’m fluent in many languages. Even some that are not spoken.”
Nabiki smiled. “Good. I’m starting to understand Ranma now.”
Cologne raised an old eyebrow and looked at her. “What is it child?”
Nabiki was smiling again. “He said that he’s leaving us clues to find him. It’s a game to him I guess, but I think, he’s thought every thing out. I found last nights tape and neither Kasumi nor I knew what Ranma was doing in front of one of my cameras. I just realized that it might be sign language.”
Cologne thought. “Hmmm. Show me then.”
Every one left the table and made up to Nabiki’s room again. Soun noticed that he was the only one that ate his food. He twitched a little.
“And that?”
“He said ‘Voodoo priest.’”
Akane rested her head in her hands “None of this is making sense. He’s just saying phrases, but nothing complete.”
Cologne tapped her on the head. “Patients daughter-in-law. He’s giving us hints. He’s trying to by time by playing these games.”
Nabiki pointed. “This is the only sign language I know. He just said millionaire right there.”
Cologne focused back on the screen. “Old friend with Spatula. Mother. Will help. Find. MUSK!?”
Ryouga got a weird look on his face. “Musk? He smelt some thing bad?”
Mousse cleared it up. “You could say that... The Musk is a dynasty in China. It’s close to our village.”
Shampoo looked angry. “They sworn enemy of Amazon tribe! What Ranma want with them!?”
“Phoenix… Dragon… forest… Master… Grave… Spring….”
Nabiki stopped the video. “And that’s it. After that he’s gone. What do you guys make of it?”
“What were the words again?”
Cologne let the words out with no emotion. “Book. Doll. Voodoo priest. Millionaire. Old friend with Spatula. Mother. Will help. Find. Musk. Phoenix. Dragon. Forest. Master. Grave. Spring.”
Ryouga thought hard for a few seconds. “Think he wants us to find some one, or some thing?”
Nabiki thought as well. “I think he wants us to find both. Any one here that knows of a millionaire, or a voodoo priest?”
Every one shook their heads. Nabiki got that sly, smug smile on her face. “Wrong. We do. Kuno is rich and you should know the voodoo guy Akane.”
“…Wait… You mean that pervert that chases me around with a camera every so often? Why would Ranma want us to find HIM? He’s such a little creep.”
“Because he knows some thing about magic. He can help us. And I think Ranma just gave us our financing through Kuno.”
Mousse spoke up. “What about the old friend? Could that be you Ryouga?”
He shrugged his shoulders. “I wouldn’t be hard to find. I’m right here. Maybe he’s talking about some one else?”
Kasumi added he thought. “Oh! What about Ukyo? He has a real interest in Ranma. Ranma is all he ever talks about when he’s over here.”
Shampoo looked confused. “That creepy. It like wife, but worse.”
“I DIDN’T AGREE TO MARRY YOU, YOU KNOW!?”
Kasumi gave that a though. “Now that you mention it, he did seem that way towards Ranma. What do you think Ryouga?”
“Huh? Err… I don’t know. Why are you asking me?”
“Oh, my… I just thought… Well… You know… Oh, I’ve never been one for words…”
“H-HEY! WHAT ARE YOU ACCUSING ME OF!?”
“Oh, well nothing I guess… I just thought that you and Ranma were an item, so to speak.”
Ryouga grabbed his hair and ran out of the room screaming. The shower could be heard and the amount of steam that followed told that it was a very hot shower.
“Oh, I guess not.”
Akane looked at Kasumi funny. “What gave you that idea anyways?”
Nabiki cut in. “I think she was referring to the October 14th tape…”
Akane got a scared tone in her voice. “What happened October 14th…?”
“I don’t think you want to know…”
“Oh, I don’t see why not. She consented to it. Ranma asked her first and Akane agreed. I told you that remember?”
“I was too busy recovering from the shock. I didn’t think he had it in him.”
“What did Ranma do!?”
“What else did Akane say?”
“I couldn’t read it all, but she said some thing about a ‘3-way’ what ever that is.”
Soun started crying, while Akane tried to defend herself. “What did ‘I’ do!?”
“I guess I should have been paying attention. It was a pretty hot scene though. Ryouga had such a cute nervous look on his face.”
Kasumi blushed a little. “Well… I guess so.”
“WHAT DID ‘WE’ DO!?”
Meanwhile Ryouga was out of the shower, bright red from the heat and mentally prepared. He started making his way back to the room when he heard raised voices. No one saw Shampoo putting in a tape.
“Oh, this is it. Watch Ryouga’s face.”
“AHH! WHO PUT THAT IN!?”
“Oh, my. I didn’t notice how sultry Ranma’s face was. He does that very well.”
“Thank god he’s a she in this.”
“YOU STAY OUT OF THIS MOUSSE! AND TURN THAT OFF! I DON’T WANT TO KNOW WHAT I DID LATER ON!”
Ryouga’s eyes caught the screen just as he watched himself smile and start playing tonsil tennis with his best friend, turned female. He froze and Soun started wailing. “YOU SEDUCED RANMA AWAY FROM MY DAUGHTER! NOW SHE’LL NEVER MARRY!”
“Wow great confidence dad. I’m glad you’re not a marriage councilor. Personally, I think it’s sweet. These two are really enjoying themselves right here. See Ryouga’s going for a feel.”
“Oh, my!”
“Nice move slick. Very subtle.”
“I TOLD YOU TO STAY OUT OF THIS MOUSSE!”
“What are you doing to my son-in-law, child?”
“WHAT ‘ARE’ YOU DOING TO MY SON-IN-LAW, BOY!?”
“OH GOD! I JUST WALKED IN! TURN IT OFF! TURN IT OFF!”
“C’mon sis. Nothing happens. Just a lot of kissing and what not. Watch this. Ryouga gets shocked and he forgets that his hand is on Ranma’s breast.”
“It no look like Ranma mind though...”
There was a loud thump of a broken man as Ryouga hit the floor, wide-eyed and with a nose bleed. He vibrated and twitched a few times, but otherwise passed out. The room watched him in silence until he shot up suddenly with his eyes still bulging out. “WHERE AM I!?”
Nabiki leaned down to him. “About 7 seconds from where you were exactly before. And yes, you and Ranma were making out in the video.”
“Oh.”
Ryouga stood up, brushed himself off calmly, and shot off screaming towards the bathroom again, where a billow of steam came out, but thicker this time. Kasumi looked down the hall. “Oh, my… I don’t think he’s using any cold water this time…”
“CAN WE PLEASE TURN THIS OFF NOW!?”
“Ok, ok… Jeez, just as it’s about to get to the juicy bit too…”
“OFF! NOW!”
“Wow. Husband is weirdo. He like being girl?”
“Looks like it. All you need now is for Ryouga to jump into the spring of drowned girl and you got three wives.”
Shampoo went wide-eyed at Mousse’s comment and punched him hard in the face. She shot up and immediately went towards the bathroom where she latched onto a naked Ryouga. “SHAMPOO NO WANT MORE WIFES! SHAMPOO NOT WIERDO LIKE OTHER WIFES! NO CHANGE INTO GIRL! STAY AS MAN! STAY AS MAN!”
There was a pause of silence and then a small squeak could be heard as Ryouga fell unconscious along with a loud painful thump as he hit the tub. “AHHH! ONLY HUSBAND LEFT DYING! WAKE UP! WAKE UP!” Loud smacking sounds could be heard as Shampoo tried to revive the unconscious Ryouga.
About 2 hours later Ryouga woke up with a large bump on his head. He was in a soft warm bed with daylight trying to make its way into his eyes. “ugh…”
“Oh, I think he’s waking up.”
‘Kasumi…’
“Good. I still have husband.”
‘Shampoo…’
“Are you feeling ok Ryouga?”
‘Akane…’ “Ugh…”
“C’mon! Get up sugar. You can’t be sleeping all day.”
‘Ukyo… Ukyo…? UKYO!?’ “Ukyo!”
Ryouga got up in an instant and looked at the four girls. “Oh, my! That was sudden.”
Ukyo bent down towards him and looked into his eyes. “Hey there. You remember me or some thing?”
Ryouga shook his head a little, and started staring at Ukyo. “What is it sugar? I got some thing on my face?”
Ryouga grabbed the boy’s shirt and ripped it open, revealing a couple of bound breast. This was followed by a four-way punch with three girls shouting “PERVERT!” and the silent, yet hardest punch was coming from Kasumi. Ryouga slithered down and realigned his jaw. He worked his way up and looked at the four angry girls. His mouth dropped a few times and he started looking like a fish in a bowl, until he knew what to say. “I… I remember every thing!”
Another punch came from Ukyo’s direction. “You didn’t have to rip my best shirt though!”
“Err… Sorry. It’s just kind of weird to have two weeks of memories flood back into your head. But at least I know why I was making out with Ranma…”
Ukyo pulled out an enlarged spatula and asked. “Excuse me?”
Ryouga stared wide-eyed for a second and pointed. “Oh, yeah… You’re his fiancé too...”
“Oh, my…”
“WHAT!?”
Shampoo cried a little. “Shampoo no want more wives…”
*Ring*
{Hello?}
{Hey, Mousse, it’s Ryouga. Found any thing yet?}
{Not really. I’ve made a checklist, but every thing seems to be here. The only thing we can’t seem to find is Shampoo’s passport.}
Ryouga gave a pause and started thinking again. {Does it look like it was stolen?}
Mousse gave some consideration himself. {Well… No. We kept all of our travel gear in our rooms. Ranma trashed the herbs and spices cabinet, as well as most of the kitchen. I’m pretty sure he was looking for the old woman’s magical stuff.}
Suddenly the little men inside Ryouga’s head started working over time, and he started thinking in a style that was more out side the box. {Thanks Mousse… I’ll get back to you in a bit. Call here if you find out any thing new.}
{We’re actually coming back over right now. We’ll be there in ten mins.}
{Ok. I’ll fill in the other of what you found.}
{….We haven’t found any thing though….}
{I’ll explain later. Just get back over here.}
{Ok. See ya.}
*Click*
