Heartbreaker
Summary: Apparently, Kaidoh has a habit of turning people down. He does it politely and as gently as he can, but what happens when someone won’t take no for an answer?
Disclaimer: I don’t own all these wonderful…underage…pretty boys. I just don’t. The guy who made Prince of tennis does…lucky bastard.
Warning:
Author’s Note:Hi again. There’ll be a brief recap due to the fact that last time I cut off in a place I didn’t want to. ^w^
Won’t Give Up
"You and Akutsu made up then?"
"We did."
They walked a bit more and the data player confessed. "I'm obsessed with two things."
Kaidoh listened.
"Data collection and Kaidoh Kaoru. Yagyuu said these things to me and I realize they're true." Inui pushed up his glasses. "I realize them even more in the face of what happened a few days ago...and the fact that Fuji pointed out that I have five notebooks on you when in fact I have seven. Also, note that I took care to correct this fact even though neither you or Fuji care to quibble over numbers. I do. Those notebooks contain the love of two things and I take great care to one: hide them away from prying eyes and two: make sure they're in good condition. I also have a while folder dedicated to you on my computer containing sic sub-folders."
Kaidoh couldn't help but smile. "Peach juice."
"Hai...peach juice." Inui pushed up his glasses again then continued. “I don’t know everything about you but I want to. I need to. There’s some data I can’t get by observing. Does that sound odd to you?”
Kaidoh watched the sun for a moment then shook his head. “I’ve known you for sometime Senpai. You aren’t odd to me. Just different from me.”
They walked in silence and Inui stopped, Kaidoh turning to regard him. “Senpai?”
“Yagyuu will break up with me if I cannot stop these two things.”
Kaidoh stared.
“I have to stop Data and Kaidoh Kaoru. And I’m not ready to do either of those things.”
A breeze blew and Inui adjusted his tennis bag. “Do you understand?”
“Hai. Wakarimasu.”
“Will you come with me then?”
“Akutsu is waiting.”
Inui didn’t sigh or let his eyebrows fall. “I understand.”
Kaidoh bowed and walked off to where the white clad Yamabuki senior stood near the bottom of a foot bridge. Inui turned the other way and made his way home.
Akutsu Jin...what do you have that I don’t...I must begin to collect data on him...

Eiji sulked in the corner of the room while Echizen glared at the tv. Oishi was no where to be found and the boys where simply sitting, waiting really, until they were let out of the vice-captain’s odd punishment.
“You two are going to learn to get along if I have to leave you in here all night! I’ll sleep on the couch!”
The brunette scribbled weakly on his paper and whined. “Oishi! I”m being good let me out!”
But no response came from the other side of the locked door. Eiji knew there’d be no response. His boyfriend had probably gone downstairs to watch tv or something. He sighed and closed his book, falling back on the floor.
“This is all your fault O Chibi. Oishi is my boyfriend first! Not yours!”
“If you weren’t such a little kid then there wouldn’t be a problem -”
“You’re a little kid, yarou!” he snapped, sitting up and staring into his textbook. “Oishi loves me the way I am! I should have never agreed to this!”
Echizen leaned back on the bed, looking bored. “Mada mada dane...”
“Oh fuck you...” Eiji whispered, growing frustrated. He got up and went to the window, looking out. With his skills he could easily hop to the tree and shimmy down and go home. He was sick of trying to compromise and make deals with someone who obviously didn’t like him. Who was Echizen anyway? Thinking he was all bad just because he could play all those games against Fujiko-chan or make Tezuka like him? Who was this brat to take away his boyfriend?
Tears burned his eyes and he opened the window. Oishi wouldn’t care if he left. He liked Echizen better anyway.
“Hey brat,” he began uncharacteristically. “Tell Oishi that I’m -”
“That you’re what?” the vice-captain came in, closing the door. “I brought you guys some things. Thought you could use a break.” He set the food down on the table, glancing at Eiji’s homework.
“Eiji? Doko ni ikimasu ka?”
“I’ll leave you alone with Echizen! I’ll come get my crap later!” he got down frm the window and went for the door, trying to jerk his wrist away when Oishi caught it.
“Koi? What’s wrong? I just want you and him to get along better -”
“Well it’s not happening!” he glared at his boyfriend. “You think I’m just some kid! You want O Chibi over there with his fake cool, his ‘mada mada dane’! Well I’m not like that! I thought you liked me for me -.”
Oishi kissed him, but Eiji tensed and pulled away. “You even smell like him.”
Oishi rolled his eyes. “Then go if you want to, but I never said those things.”
“Nya, whatever.” Eiji pulled away and left, closing the door hard.
The vice-captain turned his eyes on Echizen. “If he breaks up with me I won’t be pleased.”
“Eiji-senpai is too emotional. It’s not my fault.”
“You’re the kid here! Stop antagonizing him!” Oishi came over to the bed and flopped down. “I should have never fucked you, Eiji’s mad.”
The boy leaned over him, kissing his mouth upside down, desire surging. “Mada mada...”

Fuji sipped his tea and looked at Atobe across from him. The boy looked furious.
“How can you say this Syuuske? What are you saying?”
The boy put his cup down and gave a smile. “I don’t like Kabaji around. I don’t like the way you treat him and I don’t like the way he watches. I asked you to do something, you said you would...but you haven’t. I told you yesterday to make a decision and you haven’t.” He pointed to he side where Kabaji was.
“Why does he have to be here all the time, hm?” Fuji stood up and pushed in his chair. “I’m going.”
“Fuji!” the purple haired tennis prince stood up, enraged. “You leave and you can never come back! No one leaves Atobe Keigo!”
Fuji waved good-bye to Kabaji and the staff and kept going.
“You’re not getting a ride home either!” the boy called after him.
Outside, Fuji slipped into the passenger side of his sister’s car, perpetual smile trembling.
“Otouto?”
Fuji shook his head and bid his sister to continue driving. When he got home he went up to his room, sitting in the darkness. The phone lit up and he leaned to see who it was.
It was Atobe.
Fuji smiled. I thought so...
He picked up and waited before he spoke. “Fuji.”
“You bitch. You think you’re it don’t you? Well your not! Think you were doing something by not giving me sex? Well I’ve got news for you ‘tensei’ you’re about as dense as they come ...”
Fuji listened patiently while Atobe outlined all the people he’d been with while they were together. His hands trembled as he held the phone while Atobe cursed at him and called him names. He heard the boy stop to take a breath and his mouth curved into a smile.
“Are you finished?”
“I won’t be finished till I destroy you!”
“Well, I don’t have enough time for that right now. Perhaps later.” He hung up then, tears running down the trembling corners of his upturned lips. He wiped them away and let out a small chuckle.
Destroy me hn? You don’t know who you’re playing with...
His eyes opened and he dialed a number.
“Hello...Fuji Syuuske...yes, were you sleeping Jiroh-kun?”
