Alyria glares angrily at Razor, prepared to kill him if he touches her or her pup again. Razor flees, his silver fur shining in the light of the cave. Alyria has no intention of allowing him to leave unscathed however, and snarls deep and low. The Arcanine pauses; a bad move on his part for at that moment Storm enters the cavern and blocks his escape. The enraged Lucario hybrid, now protecting her entire family lunges at the shiny male, fastening her half-formed muzzle around his throat and tearing it open. The scream echoes from Razor’s jaws as blood pours from his wound. Luna looks away, but cannot silence the pleased growl as her mother protects her. Storm snarls and leaps upon Razor’s back, using an Ice Fang attack to sever his spine, killing him. The family walks out of the cave, covered in blood to the remaining teammates. Judge is shocked at the condition of his mate and immediately walks up to her, licking her wounds. Alyria suppresses a snarl and nods at Judge, finally seeing how much he loves Luna. Shadow walks up to her, sniffing her belly and making sure the pups are alright. Alyria nuzzles him happily.
Months pass by as Luna recovers slowly, her mate constantly at her side. As she reaches her second birthday, she is shocked when the light commonly associated with evolution envelops her. Suicune do not evolve, so she is shocked and worried about the light. However, as it clears, she is revealed once more as a woman with black hair, the Suicune crest, and gorgeous white tails. Rei comes back to check on the family, and is shocked to see his granddaughter looking more humanoid than his adopted daughter, whom he finds lying in the nest in labor. He remains close by as Shadow guards her, the Mightyena and human male watching from out of biting range as the hybrid brings her second litter into the world.
She has two pups, both female, both Poochyena, but the smaller of the two, a blue tint to her fur seems smaller than her sister and the wheezing coming from her lungs worries Rei. He picks her up, avoiding his adopted daughter’s fangs and rushes her to the Pokémon Center on Sevira’s back. When he returns, he is alone, the look on his face telling the couple the fate of their daughter long before he lays a small bundle in front of them, their pup, wrapped lifelessly in a blanket. Shadow howls in pain, but it is nothing compared to the sound Alyria makes as she tilts back her muzzle and lets out a strangled wailing cry.
Alyria buries her daughter, Aria, near her mother’s remains the following week. Shadow and Alyria take care of the remaining pup, a midnight female they named Morgana. Their surviving pup spends her first few weeks of life whimpering inconsolably, Shadow telling his mate that she’s crying for her lost sister. Morgana grows out of the whimpering slowly, and as she gains levels and strength, Alyria is moved by the ferocity of her pup. Morgana takes to snarling and attacking things she passes, every once in a while, latching on to her half sister’s tails as Luna dances around in her new form. Judge on the other hand, allows Morgana to attack him and playfully rolls onto his back as she runs over his body.
