CHAPTER II - The Plan
Shuichi’s POV
I woke up the early in the morning and was surprised to see Eiri sleeping beside me. He looks so tired so I didn’t wake him up. Even if he was not tired, he would still be angry at me for waking him up. What’s the use of trying to please him if he doesn’t pay any attention to me unless he wants my body?
It was still about 6:00 am and I took a shower and then hurriedly went to the studio. I’ve done a lot of thinking about my relationship with Eiri. I know he loves me but… no… I only think that he loves but I realized that I thought wrong. I guess I became confident when I took him back from America after he left me in that amusement park. After that day, I thought that everything would be alright.
I arrived at the studio. I thought no one would be there but to my surprise, I saw Suguru working on our latest and last album… Yes, I’ve been thinking of quitting Bad Luck and leave everything behind. With my current state of relationship with Eiri, I could not go on with my life but I am afraid to commit suicide. I want to be happy again in a way that I don’t need that cold bastard. I want to feel complete…
An hour or two have passed. Hiro and K arrived. They looked at me suspiciously. And I know why. I arrived early in the studio and they know that when I do, something happened between me and Eiri. Thank Kami-sama because they did not ask any questions.
I approached K and asked him, “Do you know if Tohma has arrived?” K looked at me again with full suspicion and nodded. I told everyone to come with me in seeing Tohma because I have something to tell to all of them. They all agreed and accompanied me to Tohma’s office.
“What brings you here Shuichi?” Tohma asked me. I didn’t hesitate to answer him, “ Tohma, I want to quit Bad Luck and also… I have a special favor to ask you.” Hiro grabbed my hand and yelled, “What the hell are you doing!” Tohma stood from his chair and walked towards us. “I see you are all shocked as I am with Shuichi’s decision. But I must ask you Shuichi, what is the special favor you want me to do?”
Before I could answer his question, Mika walks in. Tohma gestured her to leave but I told him she need to hear it too. I took a deep breath and then explained, “I want to quit Bad Luck because I want to find myself again. I want to be happy without Eiri in my life. I want to feel complete again. And I need you to help me fake my own death.” I could feel the shocked at everyone’s mind but no interrupted me so I continue, “And it is the only way for me to leave Eiri without letters, conversations and goodbyes. This is the easiest route that I can find…”
