Chapter 2

Haku walked out of the bathroom as soon as he reassured himself that he was going to be okay. What a freaky dream that was, and it ended so abruptly. A quick smile made its way to the young man’s face. Even though the dream bothered him so, it still gave him peace of mind when in slumber. It seems that every time he sees that woman, she causes his heart to tingle a little. Haku felt this feeling before, but it was long ago when the little brunette first arrive in the world of spirits ten years ago. She was beautiful in her own special way, even though she held her childish features strongly. He can still spot the woman in her. He wondered what she looked like now. He quickly pushed those thoughts in the back of his head and walked straight towards the tall mirror standing in the far corner of his room. It was still late in the afternoon, and the spirits won’t be up for another couple of hours. So Haku took this time to enjoy himself while he waited for night to plaster the spirit world with its darkening clouds.
He looked at himself very carefully in the mirror. His body has changed a lot since Chihiro left. Instead of having a small, gaunt body of a twelve year old, he had the body of a body builder. He had nice size abs that any girl would die for just to touch, and broad shoulders. His hair grew over the years, and now held the place above his butt locks when it was down. He always held his hair in a tight ponytail so it wouldn’t get in the way. His emerald eyes grew darker as well as the black lines lining up his eyes. He began to wonder again what Chihiro would have thought if she was here to see him in all his glory.
But she won’t be able to because they live in two different worlds. He was a spirit and she was a human. A couple like that didn’t match. Did it? He intended on keeping his promise, but after trying everything he could to get to the human world, he thought it wasn’t meant to be. Yes, fate can be so cruel can it? He loved her with all his heart, but sometimes you have to move on no matter how much it hurts. He finally found someone to mend his broken heart. A beautiful woman named Taisha, arrive at the bathhouse almost three years ago. She came to work at the bathhouse to prove to her parents that she was not scared to do anything below her level, or so she says. She arrived at the bathhouse one night, demanding for a job. Yubaba didn’t agree of Taisha working in the bathhouse at first, disliking the attitude Taisha carried, thinking that this type of attitude will scare her customers away. But soon gave up when she threatened the witch to turn the bathhouse into a brothel. Taisha was after all, one of the richest families in the spirit world, and she could do anything she wanted. She had long blonde hair past her shoulders, and a nice curve body that any man couldn’t resist to touch. She had baby blue eyes and small pink lips to match.
When Haku was called to show her around the bathhouse and get her situated, he couldn’t help but to stare at her beautiful features. He didn’t notice he was staring until she spoke up. “Like what you see?” She soothed in her most seductive voice she could muster. Haku was taken back a little by the tone in her voice. He promptly looked away, muttering an apology for being so rude. What really surprised him next was when Taisha chuckled. “Don’t be sorry. I love it when men look at me like that. It just tells me how beautiful I am. I’m Taisha by the way.” She rushed a quick smile on her face. Haku quickly nodded at her response. “I’m Haku, and very nice to meet you Taisha.” Haku replied. “Oh the pleasure is mine.” Taisha said. Haku nodded in approval and quickly took her to go see Lin. She was to be Lin’s new assistant since Lin was still complaining about too much work to be done by one person.
Hake remembered that day very well when Lin first met Taisha. Oh, did Lin hate her guts. As soon as the two was introduced, Taisha started commenting on the way Lin talked, acted, and dressed. She really wanted to drill a hole in the blonde’s head.
Flashback
“Lin, I would like you to meet Taisha. She will be your new assistant from now on.” Haku replied blankly. Lin looked Taisha up and down before plastering a smile on her face and holding out her hand. “It’s very nice to meet you Taisha, I’m Lin.” Taisha just stared at Lin for what seemed like several minutes before replying. “No duh, I already know what your name is! Didn’t you hear Haku just say your name to me a second ago? Or is it that you’re death?” Taisha replied with a bored tone in her voice. “Or is it that you’re just as stupid as you look right now?” Taisha added.
Lin held a surprised face and Haku was dumbfounded. She quickly changed her interior to an angry face. “WHAT THE HELL IS YOUR PROBLEM!? I INTRODUCE MYSELF NICELY AND YOU INSULT ME IN RETURN!?” Lin yelled so loudly that everyone looked in her direction to see what the commotion was about. Taisha just huffed and flipped her hair back with an attitude. “You don’t have to be so loud bitch, we can hear you from all the way across the room. You don’t want to wear out that raspy voice of yours, and while you’re at it, find better clothes. You seriously need fashion in your life.” Taisha beamed.
Without a second thought, Lin launched at the girl, but was quickly held back by Haku. “Let me go Haku! I will seriously kick this bitch’s ass!” Lin roared. “No, Yubaba’s orders were strictly that you are to work with Taisha. Now you two will have to get along somehow or face the consequences.” Haku replied. Still struggling, Lin spoke up. “Dealing with the consequences will be worth the ass whooping I’m about to give this bitch!” Taisha just chuckled. “Go ahead Haku, let her go, because if she touches me, she will be severely punished.” Everyone in the bathhouse looked on curiously for what the brunette was about to do next after that comment.
Lin stopped struggling and drooped her shoulders down low. She will be severely punished if she was to touch a new worker on their first day. Taisha has won this time, but there’ll be other days to get her back.
End of Flashback
Hake laughed at the memory. He began to look out the window wondering about his lost love with a million questions running through his head. Did she find someone else? Did she forget about him? Or do she just don’t care? He tried to avoid questions like these, but they just kept popping back into his head more rapidly than the last. He just didn’t know what to do.
