Alone time Chapter 2

(AN: Yes I know I am a dork for deleting it, but this gives me the chance to revise some things and make it better! So here we go and hope it is better!)

LATER THAT EVENING:

Akane was just about to finish her math homework for tomorrow when she hears a tap on her window. Pulling back the curtains she sees and exhausted Ranma. She shakes her head before opening the window. He comes in and closes it right away then jumps down and hides behind Akane.

“What are you doing?”

"Just shhhh and let me know when the coast is clear." Said Ranma

"I think you are safe now I just saw her pass over the neighbor’s roof heading towards the east." Said Akane

Ranma gets up from behind Akane and looks around before locking eyes with Akane. Both Blush and look away before Ranma clears his voice.

"Akane, um, look, I’m sorry about earlier. I know I shouldn’t have said those things and I am sorry." Said Ranma as he scratches the back of his head.

"um apology accepted I guess. Um, Kasumi left you some food in the kitchen. Dad wants to have a family meeting once everyone gets back so let’s go downstairs and find out what is going on." Said Akane

So they went downstairs to find everyone watching the TV and no one noticed them walking into the room. Once Akane cleared her throat and they saw Ranma, they turned off the TV. Ranma and Akane took a seat next to each other.

"Now that everyone is back, we can talk. Ranma, and Akane, Today while you were at school, Kasumi won a trip to stay at log cabins at the mountains for a week." Said Soun

" Congrats Kasumi! This is a perfect chance for me to practice." Said Ranma excitedly

"Hold on boy, there’s more to this" Said Genma

"Quiet right Satome. You see the rules of the contest say that only 5 people can go." Said Soun

"Only 5! why?" Asks Akane

"As dad says, that was one of the rules." Said Kasumi

"So while we were waiting on you to return Ranma, we picked who is going. I’m sorry Ranma and Akane, but you two have been voted to stay here and keep an eye on the Dojo." Said Soun

"WHAT! ARE YOU CRAZY!" Yelled both Ranma and Akane

"No but we just thought it would be a chance for you two to get your studying done. You two have loads of Homework to do right?" Asks Genma

"Well...Yea we do..but!" Said Akane

"You expect me to be cool with the fact that you are leaving me here with this uncute tomboy for a week!!" Yelled Ranma

"Who are you calling an Uncute tomboy Ranma!!" Yelled Akane as she slams her hands on the table.

“What I mean is.." Said Ranma as he slowly backs away.

"Uh huh...well I will be in my room" Said Akane as she left in a huff.

Everyone waited till they heard Akane slam her door shut before sighing and turning back to Ranma

"Now look what you did my boy" Said Genma

"But how can I stay home with her! Who the hell is all going?" Asks ranma

"Well it is me, Satome, Kasumi, Nabiki, and Happosai" Said Soun

"Now that is no fair! Why does the old man get to go?" Yelled Ranma

"Would you much rather have him stay here with Akane? I mean think about it boy" Said Genma

happosai running around the dojo with Akane and other women underwear and having the girls come in and ruin the house just to kill him.

"You got a point. Fine, I will stay behind, but don’t expect me to like it!! " said Ranma.

"Good. Now go and do homework." Said Genma

Ranma gets up and heads upstairs to his room to do homework. He stops when he reaches Akanes door. He is about to knock when he hears Akane sighing. He lowers his hands and shakes his head before heading to his room to study.

AKANES ROOM:

'Damn you Ranma! How dare you call me and uncute tomboy when you apologized to me just 10 minutes before for doing that at school! Why must it be this way?' Akane thinks as she lays on her bed holding her pillow and just starts to cry.

After 5 minutess of crying, she gets up and decided to work on her homework. But it is kind of hard when she is thinking about Ranma the whole time. She throws her pen against the wall and looks outside at the full moon and sighs again.

'I guess this couldn’t have been helped. Maybe something good will come of this. I mean, Ranma and I will be alone and we will get to talk and get to spend time together. I guess it is fate dealing its cards towards us. Maybe something good will happen and I won’t have to send him into orbit at all'

Akane digs for another pen in her desk drawer and gets back to work on her homework.

RANMAS ROOM:

'man! why did i have to go and call her and uncute tomboy again? I am sooo stupid! Man...I want to go say sorry to her, but i am afraid she will hit me and then Shampoo would find me again. Hey, I will say sorry to her when we are alone! Then we could talk and I can finally tell her how I feel. But what if the others find out! Man that would suck! But I want to talk with Akane so just to have a nice weekend, I’m not telling anyone what is going on. Now where is my homework?' Thought Ranma as he looks for his homework and starts to work on it.

DOWNSTAIRS GENMA AND SOUN:

"Do you think we did the right think? I mean Ranma and Akane weren’t happy when they found out." Said Genma

"I hope so. Don’t forget, they are engaged and they need some time alone. Who knows! Maybe something good may come out of this." Said Soun

"I hope the house doesn’t get ruined while we are gone, especially when Kuno-baby and Ranma’s fiancés could find out and come over." Said Nabiki

"I’m sure that Ranma and Akane will not say a word and they will be safe for a couple of days alone. That goes for you to Nabiki, no trying to make money." Said Kasumi

“Of course not Kasumi! What kind of sister do you take me for?”

“A sneaky sister is what I take you for. Now promise that you will not say a work to Kuno or the others! Not even for yen!” Said Kasumi

“Fine! I promise. Not a word” Said a defeated Nabiki

“Good now let’s hope nothing happens while we are gone for the week”

"Check mate! Yes let’s hope." Said Genma

"NO Fair! Let’s play again!" Yelled Soun
