Dick frowned at what he was seeing when he got off the ship. The island was in ruins and that was putting it nicely.
"What's up with this?" Rain whispered clinging to her brother's arm.
"No idea." Dick shrugged.
"Girls on the left, boys on the right." Ash called standing in front of the first years. "Single file lines." he watched as the kids obyed. "Now, you should all have one pokemon with you. That pokemon must be outside of it's pokeball at all times." He waited for the few like Sam who didn't have their Pokemon out to let them out. "You are not to carry your pokemon. They are to move on their own."
"But my pokemon is a water pokemon." A girl with orange haired cried.
"Your Pokemon is a Staryu so it can be on dry land." Ash told the girl. He had the feeling she was Misty's daughter he should go and ask her. Speak of the devil. Some of Ash's traveling companions walked up. "Now you'll see the Island is in a bad shape you don't need to worry about that we're working on it. We welcome you all to the new Pokemon Academy. "
He went on to explain the rules to them.
"Now boys follow me and girls follow Misty to your dorms."
Dick gave Rain a hug and sent her on her way he followed the boys whom were following his father. He wondered if he would be sharing a room if his counting was correct there was a even number of boys so he assumed that he would. He hoped that he and Pichu would get along with whomever they were sharing with.
Adults, mostly Pokemon Professors and some officals from the League were around they were going to watch the very first class of the Pokemon Academy and see how they did and if the Academy could stay open.
Dick entered his room to see a rundown bunkbed, and a desk. He found a closet that was sectioned off. His things were on one side and his roommates on the other. He closed the closet and waited to see who would be bunking with him. It turned out to be a boy in big glasses that had a Purrloin with him. Dick decided this boy probably wouldn't last long. As it was now late at night he quickly changed into his pjs, lowered his goggles around his neck and climbed into the top bunk with Pichu. He put his dad's hat on the top bedpost next to the wall.
It's time to repair Pokemon Academy Island.
Through the repair screen you can repair the school, habitats and more everything on the Island.
Things will start at level 1 and slowly level up to 100. At 100 they will be at their best stage or may just turn into something else. Things level up through use. Lets start.
Place this Pond.
Dick touched the pond and put it in the highlighted area.
Don't worry about the water being black it's still safe to use. The more pokemon that use the pond the more exp it gains and the faster it levels up.
Next lets place some flowers.
Dick planted some flowers near the pond.
Planting flowers and buying other decorations make people and pokemon happy. The happier they are the more likely they are to use things and help them level up.
Now lets start construction on the Pokemon Center.
Dick sighed and did as told.
You're really good at this.
Pichu rolled his eyes and Dick smirked at him.
Now it's time to fulfill a need. Fullfilling needs helps people and makes them happier. It can also help Pokemon and make them happier too. You can also get comments to see how you're doing in your efforts to restore the Island. No it's not spying.
Green means good comments.
Yellow is neutral.
and Red is bad.
The green quest markers you can do now, yellow you need to meet a few more conditions and red you can't do at all.
Choose a Fullfillment Quest.
Dick thought this game was being awefully pushy but then again he also assumed he was stuck in some sort Tutorial and wished he wasn't he just wanted to go sleep. He pushed a green "!".
I need a breeding pin for my Bellossoms.
It was a quest from Coal.
Dick was taken through how to make a breeding pin. Then the Tutorial thankfully finished and he was able to fall asleep without anymore hassle.
Dick woke early and found the bathroom. He did his buisness, showered and got dressed then returned to his room so that he could get ready for the day. When he was done he and Pichu went outside and met up with Rain and Sparky. The two females were excited about starting the school day. Dick was too but kept it to himself. He smiled at her when she tapped his hat. He loved his sister more than anything and he was a very over protective big brother just ask anyone. Of course Chase and Coal were too when they were around.
Dick and Rain walked around exploring and trying to find their way to the mess hall. When they finally found it they were annoyed to find out they'd passed it four times. They entered and got their breakfasts and sat down. They were given food for their pokemon as well so all four of them ate.
"Morning!" Ash beamed, leading the boys in Misty was leading the girls. "Morning, Dicky! Morning, Princess! Are you guys ready for today?"
"Can't wait!" Rain said, excitedly.
Dick just shrugged and Ash's smile wilted a bit. Dick was always so distant and cold and he didn't know why. He sighed to himself he was glad that Dicky was wearing his hat though it meant the world to him. Ash went to the staff table to eat all the time wondering why he always had such a hard problem with Dicky when he never had the same problems with Chase, Coal, and Rain. He frowned at his thoughts.
When breakfast was over they were lead to their first class of the day Gym. Dick was not pleased he was not the most athletic person in the world in fact he sometimes had breathing problems if he worked himself too hard. He could not see this class ending well.
