Luna skips toward the kitchen, intent on making a snack for herself and Judge, knowing that she inherited a love for the sweet Pecha berries and Miltank cream from her mother. She remembers Judge usually enjoys the Cheri berries mixed with Rawst and Razz. Luna grabs two bowls and goes outside to the mini orchard she planted with her mother and picks some of the berries for her and her mate. Her tails wave in the breeze and as she’s picking the berries, she can smell something getting closer. Her fur bristles, and her face contorts into a menacing snarl, but she has no idea why she suddenly feels so hostile towards this unknown entity. Suddenly, a Suicune leaps into the orchard with menacing ruby eyes. This being is delicate and feminine, with superiority to her aura demanding she be paid respect like royalty. The Suicune glares at the hybrid before snarling the word “Freak” at her. Luna glares and snarls a challenge back to her and the two stand, one on two legs, the other on four, ready to do battle. A blaze of fire in the shape of a fire blast attack forces the two North Winds apart. From the same direction as the Suicune emerged, an Entei male, graying muzzle indicating an elder male, emerges with molten eyes, enraged.

“You are not worthy to challenge a legendary dog, child. You walk a fence between human and Pokémon, a freak. We came here in search of our son; his scent covers you as if you two are mated.” The Entei snarls at Luna, and suddenly her eyes flash with a vision of Judge’s parents.

“You must be the Suicune and Entei who mated to produce my mate, Judge. My mother and father found him when you both abandoned him to flee with your other pups after torturing him for his entire puppyhood. Legendary Dogs indeed. You two are a pair of sadistic bullies. You would do well to remain clear of my mate and my home. The legendaries and other Pokémon here will gladly tear you to shreds if you decide to continue.” Luna snarls, her fangs bared as she picks up the bowls of berries and walks inside, her tails waving. The Entei male snarls in irritation, but signals to his mate to leave.

Luna prepares the berries, but in slicing one of the Pecha berries, accidentally cuts her hand, causing her to swear loudly and slam the blade into the cutting board hard enough to split the board and break the knife. Faero walks up behind the Suicune hybrid and gently massages her shoulders.

“Is something wrong, Luna? You seem to be in a bad mood.” Faero asks, his tail curling into a question mark as he continues rubbing Luna’s shoulders.

“Yes, actually. Judge’s parents just decided to stop by. His mother challenged me, because she wanted to see her son, and his father told me I’m a freak and unworthy for them to even speak to. Then he insulted his son for picking me as a mate. His parents are nightmarish monsters. When he was a pup his mother killed his friends because they were common Pokémon. His father fled when Alyria was hunting for new Pokémon, and they basically sacrificed Judge so they could get away. Now they claim they want to see him. I don’t buy it.” Luna snarls, causing Faero to jump slightly. The old Mewtwo looks at Luna with disbelief before a pointed glare makes him change his expression.

“You should probably tell your mother that they were here. We don’t need any unannounced intruders around with breeding season approaching. Especially since Morgana is fast approaching her first heat, you two will likely enter your seasons at the same time, and once she’s mated, she’ll evolve into her hybrid form.” Faero comments, deciding not to provoke the hybrid any further. Luna nods, walking toward her mother’s room.

“Mama, I have a problem. Judge doesn’t know yet, but his parents are looking for him and they tried to attack me. I was out in the orchard picking berries and a Suicune bitch decided to challenge me because I smelled like her son and then an Entei called me a freak, said I was unworthy, we exchanged a few insults and I ran back inside.” Luna relays to her mother, speaking far more quickly than normal and causing the Lucario hybrid to shake her head.

“Whoa, Luna, honey, slow down. The two of the three Hoenn Legendary Dogs are looking for their son, and they challenged you? I was afraid of this. Go find your father, Thunder, and your mate. We need to deal with this quickly.” Alyria replies, looking a little worried. Luna picks up on this and places her paw like hand on her mother’s.

“Don’t worry Mom. I’m sure they won’t try anything.” Luna comments, her voice soothing and breathy, a sharp contrast to her piercing red gaze. Alyria nods and runs off to find Storm, leaving Luna to hunt down her mate and Thunder alone.

Luna locates the Raikou easily enough; Thunder hasn’t moved from the sofa in front of the television since they gained the mansion, preferring to spend her days without fighting watching programs on the legendaries. Luna growls as she sees the lazy electric dog snoring away with the TV blaring.

“Thunder, you lazy dog, wake up, I need your help.” Luna hisses as she force palms Thunder onto the ground, causing the Legendary to rise in a snarling flash of crackling electric shocks. Luna glares at the Pokémon and she silences her snarls.

“So, what’s wrong?” Thunder asks, yawning to show enormous fangs. She sits down and scratches her ear in typical canine fashion causing Luna to roll her eyes before explaining the situation.

“Awesome, I have been meaning to teach that Suicune bitch a lesson for what she did to me the last time we met. We go back years. Alyria found Judge with Storm, but she sent me after the big ones to try and catch them. That Suicune froze my feet so I couldn’t chase and her mate burned me. I need to settle the score between us.” Thunder smirks wickedly as she comments to Luna, giving the hybrid the impression that the Raikou intends to seriously injure at least one of the legendaries before the thought of mercy even enters her mind.
