Shuichi the (timid) demon slayer

A/N : This fic I got inspired from a manga in a Malaysian megazine called Gempak By C2V. His work is so funny y’know and I love reading his manga’s. Cola Dracula is one of the episodes. This fic has a bit similar to the opening in C2V’s Cola Dracula but the rest of the story is my own ideas.

A/N : the cast will off course be OOC because I never watch the anime before except the OVA and I only read the manga that I had downloaded until vol. 6 or 7. I only know some basic knowledge about the character’s personality, response and attitude. Most of my knowledge about the cast mainly Eiri and Shuichi are from the Gravi fanfics I read over the past several months.

Warning : { AU } this fic contain shounan ai stuffs meaning boy love boy stuffs. If that not what you’re comfortable with then what the hell are you doing here in a Gravi fanfic site??

Warning II : numerous grammar errors and wrong spellings. Don’t harshly flame me over it because I’ve had enough of it in my previous fics.


Shuichi Christabella Shindou, the (timid) demon slayer.

Glossary : In the late 1940’s, The Shindou family was well known for their powerful excorcising power against the dark forces. Every member could take down the head of
any demon clan within minutes. But unknown to the citizens, the next –only- heir of the Shindou family, is Shindou Chritabella Shuichi, a timid – scaredy cat – easily frightened – zero courage – just a slight tease will bawl buckets, demon slayer. One night when he
was (forced) to finish a mission : take down the vampire master Count Yuki Eiri who killed 3 ¼ of the villages’ cows. Instead of excorcising the vampire, the timid slayer instead made the biggest mistake of his life, he made the master vampire master fell in
love him (actually the vamp fell in love over his blood).

“ if we’re both humans, I can accept you and maybe return your feelings but since you’re a vampire, forget it. “

Eiri’s face was expressionless for a few moments then he spoke up “ you hate vampires right? “

“ yes, I hate you and your other vampire relatives. It’s because of your people that our ancestors suffer… my dear friend Reina-chan might have finish her college this year if she didn’t get murdered by your people 5 years ago! I hate you… you heartless foolish creatures for being so cruel!! How could you gang up on her and raped her and not only that after you murdered her you guys threw her shattered corpse into the lake, can you imagine how her parent react at that time?? “ Shuichi screamed with tears about to drop from his eyes.

Eiri didn’t said anything because he’s angry at himself too. He’s the Master of all Vampires for god’s sake! He should have taken a more efficient plan to take care of his people’s ‘wildness’ towards the humans.

Before Eiri didn’t mind all these because since the dead have no meaning to him, he didn’t take any action. Plus he was still green and immature at that time. Now he have learned a lot but he didn’t knew the dead’s relative… one of them was Shuichi.

He hates seeing the boy with tears on his face. He ache to hold him in his arms and let the boy cry on his chest but he knew that’s a foolish action because right at the moment they are an enemy that they should be at each other’s throat if they want to live longer.

Shuichi felt a finger wiping his tears away and he look up. He saw the vampire lick the salty tear at his finger and smiled sadly. He turn around and slowly walk away.

“ about your friend… …. I know no matter what I do, I could never erase your hatred towards me and my people but I will always by your side if you –ever- needed me. Shoo me away or scream at me if you want, hate me with all your heart if you wish but remember I’ll always love you and assist you in any way I could. Sorry to waste you time Shu--- Shindou. “ Eiri said in a small voice and with a snap of his fingers, he disappeared into thin air.

Shuichi fell to his knees and felt confused. He didn’t know why but his heart felt it’s being knot and the knot tightens when he listened to the master vampire’s sad words.

Shuichi remembered the sad smile the blonde vampire gave and he felt his heart ache again. Shuichi shook his head vigorously, why is he feeling these?! He should be feeling angry and hurt because he just met the master vampire who killed most of his close relatives and ancestor.

Shuichi stand up and walk the path to his house, all the way his mind kept remembering the vampire blonde’s deep rich voice, stunning lustful eyes, his naïve innocent stupid antics, his leacherous dirty words, how he treated the boy when Shuichi was in his bedroom.

As much as Shuichi hated it, he felt cold and lonely.

“ Shuichi? Shu-chan? Shu-chan~~ wakey wakey! “ Chibi Eiri genkily snap his finger in front of the daze Shuichi.

“ huh?! what?? “ Shuichi snap from his day dream..

“ what’s the matter? You look kinda pale, have you been sleeping well? Have you eaten your dinner? “ Eiri ask in a concern look.

That dream I had two nights ago… it seem so real again… come to think of it few of my dreams came true these past few weeks… but… but why do I feel like `this dream` will come true in the near future? maybe it’s because I’m spending to much time with that pervet vampire my mind began haywire.

“ yeah I’ve been eating well but I don’t seem to get some good night sleep because… “

“ because? “ Eiri repeat as he comb Shuichi’s soft pink hair lovingly.

“ because you keep coming to my bedroom window everynight, demanding to enter so that you could rape me with those S&M apparatus you brought!! “ Shuichi yell and using both his hand he hold a big hammer to squash the vamp but Eiri easily dodge it.

“ But Shu-chan I can’t help it. And besides I didn’t bring my `stuffs` every night y’know. “

Shuichi take out a samurai sword and tried to slash the vampire but Eiri with a playful grin fight back with his fencing sword “ everybody will get the shock of their life if they find a black figure sitting on their bed staring at how they sleep!! “

“ But Shu-chan~ I love to stare when you’re sleeping, you look so cute with that little drool at the corner of your lips. “

With a big shring sound, Shuichi’s katana flew and fell to the floor a bit far from them. Eiri elegantly put away his fencing sword and grin. Shuichi shiver in anger and walk away.

“ that made me win 8 times and lost 2 times. “

“ why do I even bother?? “ Shuichi huff and take out a map.

It was an old map showing the path to this old run down shrine. This morning his mom ordered him to go to this shrine and terminate the ogre women currently living there whose causing an uproar at the nearby village.

“ oh I know that place. “ Eiri perk up as he stare at the map. His chin rest on Shuichi’s pink head and his arms around Shuichi’s waist. “ that’s where my uncle use to live when he was still alive but ever since Mari-san move in… many people move away. “

“ why? “ Shuichi ask, tired of slapping Eiri’s hand from his waist and let him be.

“ Mari-san’s old temple in the mountains was too old and small so she move and found a new temple at the outskirts of Tokyo town. Mari-san is a rude never follows the rules pain in the neck ogre. She loves a good fight and always finish her problems by having a rough battle. “

“ battle? “

“ uh huh, mahjong. “

“ mahjong?? That’s not rough you moron. “

“ oh yes it is my dear, once she defeat you in the mahjong game, you and her will have a wrestling fight and I assure you not even a sumo wrestler could beat her easily. “

“ (gulp) is… is she that… huge? “ Shuichi starts to sweat.

“ hm… she’s around the size of half of my 6 km mansion. “ Eiri replied and brush his cheek with Shuichi’s soft hair.

“ …………………….. “

“ Shu? “

“ and my mission have to persuade her to leave the temple? By winning a mahjong game and wrestle with her after that? “

“ oh no no, you’ll only wrestle with her if you lose the mahjong 2 times. “

“ oh great, I just the burden on my shoulder have been lifted. “ Shuichi said sarcasticly.

“ don’t worry Shu-chan, I’ll be with you to the end. “

“ gee thanks… “ Shuichi said in a weak voice.

“ what I mean I’ll perform an intensive training for you in these 4 days, I’ll teach you all my knowledge of playing mahjong and wrestling. “

Shuichi turn around and Eiri’s arm still lock around the boy’s waist but now move up to Shuichi’s shoulder blades and Eiri rest his forehead on Shuichi’s.

Shuichi stare at him, his face obviously showing he doesn’t believe him.

“ oh come on, is that how you show you face to someone whose helping you? “

“ You? a pervet vampire? Teach me how to play mahjong?? “

“ uh huh. “

“ what’s the world got into? “ dark atmosphere cloud around Shuichi, “ here I am facing a vampire who knows how to wrestle and play Chinese mahjong. “

“ hey, is that an insult? “ Eiri pout cutely.

Shuichi turn around and sigh heavily. “ find, let’s give it a try since you’re my only option to help me finishing this mission but let’s start the training at my house. God know what will happen to me if we start the training at ‘your room’. “

Eiri brightened up with puppy ears on his head and gave the younger boy a bear hug, “ I love you Shu-chan! “

“ Get off me Eiri!! “

“ Oh koi-chan, you call my first name!! I feel loved! “

“ Baka… “ Shuichi mutured but the vampire missed the faint smile on the kid’s face as he walk to the path of his house.

day 2


“ damn it Yuki that’s enough!!! “

“ come on, koi. You’re almost there. “

“ but I’m tired… “

“ I promise I’ll let you rest and leave you alone after you finish this. “

“ hmph… just for 13 minutes. “

“ Why you… “

“ huh? Eiri stop!! Ah ha ha that tickles--- what am I saying?! Getofmeyoupervo!! “

“ Shuichi, don’t you get tired of saying that line? “

” aaah!! Yuki not so rough—nnnghh… “

and theres more sounds of someone being kick and slap and other fighting sounds.

“ Just… go with it… “

“ dang it Yuki not there! “

“ hee hee. “

“ and stop laughing like a maniac idiot. “

And Hiro and Ryu sweat drop. They’ve been eavesdropping for the past 15 minutes at Shuichi’s bedroom door. Yesterday they saw Shuichi bringing a box of mahjong and a small table up to his room and the whole night they hear him and with someone else playing mahjong with curses and… uh… leacherous words from an unfamiliar voice.

They even heard lines like, ‘ ne Shu honey, if you lose to me again I’ll punish you with a strip game. ‘

‘ in your dreams dummy. ‘

‘ aww… I’m longing to see that smooth chest and slender body of yours. ‘

‘ come any closer and I’ll stuck these two to your nose. ‘

“ ne Takashi, “ Ryu spoke up after they walk away from the door.

“ it’s Hiroshi Sakuma-san. “ Hiro said after a sigh.

“ what do you think Shu-chan’s doing in there. “

“ boxing I guess. “

“ why? “

“ we’re out of meat. “

“ oh… but I thought Shu-chan don’t like boxing. “

“ don’t ask me. “

on the fourth day

A chibi Eiri in a cheerleader suit root for his Shu-chan as Shuichi in a pink robe enters the temple’s gate where Mari the ogre lives.

“ I can feel my legs shivering. “ Shuichi said in a timid voice.

“ aw c’mon Shu-chan, you already came this far. “

“ but… “

Eiri kiss Shuichi’s forehead, “ don’t worry, I’ll be here for you. “

And Shuichi almost made his blush look obvious.

“ now who do we have here? “ a women’s voice broke the romantic scene. Shuichi thank go the interruption or he have to face Eiri’s intense stare of lust on him.

“ address yourself and state your business because I don’t have all the time in this world.“

They turn around and saw a huge women wearing a thorn yukata drinking a big bottle of Sake sitting on the roof of the temple.

Shuichi’s eyes almost bulge out of its socket. He knew ogres are big and all but he didn’t expect this Mari the ogre is that huge. Shuichi’s height only reach her tummy.

“ what? Cat got your tongue? Speak up pretty boy or I just ignore you and continue my relaxation in the hotspring nearby.”

So that’s why this ogre wearing a yukata Eiri thought because not all ogre wear a yukata for their everyday routine.

Eiri sense the death aura around the shorter male next to him. When he turn he almost feel hell went frozen as he saw the death glare Shuichi’s giving the female ogre.

“ uh oh… “ was the only thing Eiri could say.

“ i… hate… it… when… people call me pretty boy… “ Shuichi growl.
