Wish Upon a
Star
By Jay Kamiya
(AKA Yami Jay)
Note: This is my long shot St Seiya fic. I’m
introducing my OC, Aurore. It’s an after Hades fic. Don’t worry; you’ll see
what’s going on with this. I just hope that my idea will not go nuts. I will
also use the descriptions of the Saints from the anime. And I’m also including
some couples… Some yaoi, some het. The rating might go up a little later. Also,
I’m sorry about being cruel with Aurore. The twist had to be done.
Also:
// …// = Telepatic talking
Now, for the fans:
Annabelle:
Glad you like it so far ^^ You'll see next chapter
very soon.
Chirella:
Of course he feels awful. And I know I've been cruel
with my little Aurore ^^;
Disclaimer: I do not own St Seiya or the characters.
They are own by Masami Kurumada or/and Okada. I only
own Aurore and all of the characters from the University and the five knights
are also mine.
Chapter
4: Closure
He
felt comfortable and yet, something was bothering him. He tried to remember
what happened. A sudden rush of images and words were popping-up in his mind. He
let a frustrating groan out of his throat and turned on his side. The last few
hours had been bad. He sensed someone sitting on the side of the bed. Shaka
looked and saw Mu beside him. The Virgo just sighed and sat.
Mu: Are you okay?
Shaka: I wished it was that simple…
Mu: They have told you about Aurore,
haven’t they?
Shaka: Yes… Mu, I feel responsible for
what happened. If I had been awake…
Mu: Shaka, stop right there! You couldn’t
predict that something would have happen! It’s not your fault!
Shaka: If I didn’t got distracted during
the fight, she would have been okay! She wouldn’t have been rapped!
Shaka
immediately stopped; he knew he shouldn't have told this to Mu. He couldn’t go
back to what he said. Mu was shocked; he wasn’t expecting such a reaction and
the answer he was wondering since they came back. What surprised him was that
Shaka had lost his calm.
Shaka
just pulled his knees to his chest and put his face on his arms. He just felt
bad about what happened. Mu sat beside him and tried to comfort him.
Mu: Shaka…
Shaka: I’m sorry Mu… I’m just so confused
right now.
Mu: It’s alright… But right now, we have
something more to worry about.
Shaka: What do you mean?
Mu: They are moving… Athena and Pope Shion
decided that the Gold Saints have to guard their Temples as the first line of defenses... The
six Bronze Saints, Kanon and Aurore will be with Athena.
Shaka: Aurore? She’s…
Mu: Not fighting. It’s been agree she
would be moved to the highest temple for her protection. But knowing her…
Shaka: She won’t listen.
Mu: Exactly.
Aiolia: But it would be fun if she
rethinks her position.
Shaka
and Mu looked at Aiolia, who was standing near the door. He was already wearing
his cloth and ready to fight. Shaka paled; he was scared that the Leo Saint had
heard the discussion they had. Mu noticed it and calmed him down by sending a
small message to tell him he wasn’t there.
Aiolia
shook his head; he never thought he would ever see Shaka like this. The Virgo
Saint was exhausted and somehow distressed and confused.
Mu: For that Aiolia, I don’t think she
will… She refused to be a Saint and I don’t think she will go back on her
decision…
Aiolia: I see… By the way, you two better
be ready. They are moving quickly.
Mu: We will…
Aiolia
nodded and left the two of them. Shaka sighed. He wasn’t sure that he was going
to be ready for this battle. Mu stayed a little longer until he finally left
for his temple.
*
Upstairs, The Grand Pope
Temple *
Aurore
was in a room, alone and pretty much an emotional wreck. Camus had told her she
had to stay in this temple, safe. Also, he had left her some of her stuff with
her, including something she didn’t want to see again. She was holding it in
her hands; it was a silver mask decorated with two triangles on each side of
it. It was her Saint mask.
Aurore: Why can’t I forget…
She
just sighed and put the mask on her pillow. She got up and went by the window,
looking outside. She could see the guards preparing for battle. She shook her
head. This was no use; some of the older Saints knew about her past. Even some
of them asked if she was finally taking the Cloth and be in the order. The
answer was the same; there was no way she will ever take the cloth that she had
been training for. She heard the door opened. She turned and saw Hyoga enter
the room. She sighed and decided to go back to bed, making sure that he wasn't
going to see her mask. She hided it under the pillow.
Hyoga
turned and saw Aurore sitting on her bed, zoning out. He sat on the side of her
bed and waited. He noticed that she had her hair loose. He reached to put some
locks away from her face. She looked at him and sighed. She could feel he was
worried.
Aurore: I’m okay Hyoga…
Hyoga: But still. They not are allowing
you to fight.
Aurore: I know… But you know me by now,
the first sign I have of them being in trouble, I’m out of this room and
downstairs.
Hyoga: That’s the problem… The Gold Saint
told us about that.
Aurore: Don't tell. They asked you to stop
me.
Hyoga: More likely they post Retsu at your
door…
She
sighed again and looked at the window; she could damn her brother for his
over-protectiveness but yet, she knew it was just the way he was. Also, the
others had agreed to it made her wonder; did Shaka also agreed?
Aurore: Hyoga… Did Shaka agreed also?
Hyoga: He wasn’t there when they planned
the defense… He was at his temple.
Aurore: I see…
Hyoga: Listen, I’ll go join the others.
Just take it easy.
Aurore: Fine…
He
gave her a small hug and left the room. She was alone again. She got her mask
out of it's hiding place and sighed again; she wanted to break it in pieces.
She putted it away and rest in the bed. She closed her eyes and felt in an
uneasy slumber.
*
Flashback *
A
group of girls were training outside. One of them was looking at the others
being beat up by a green haired girl, while the trainer was watching. Finally,
the one who was observing got annoyed and started to walk away. The only girl
standing noticed it.
Shaina: What the heck are you doing?
Scared to fight?
Aurore: I’m not scared… I have better
things to do.
Geist: More likely annoy others!
Shaina: So, the rumors are true…
Marine: Would you two knock that off! She
has the permission to go see her older brother!
Shaina: Oh yea… The Aquarius Saint…
Marine: Knock that…
Aurore: It’s okay Marine… No need to say
it. I’m use to it. And Shaina, you are annoying me with your attitude.
Shaina: Why you…
Aurore
just walked away and started to wonder around until she found herself somewhere
she shouldn’t have been; Aioros’ grave. Aioros had been buried out of the usual
graveyard. She suddenly heard footsteps and she hided. She saw the Grand Pope
coming and standing in front of the tombstone. He putted off his helmet and she
saw his true identity of the Grand Pope. She gasped and he heard. He had caught
her; she knew now.
*
End of flashback *
She
woke up and looked around; she could hear the guards yelling outside. She
looked by the window; the clock tower had been light. The battle had begun.
*
Virgo Temple *
Shaka
had left his room a little after Mu did. He was now wearing his cloth, but he
was still not feeling like fighting. His thoughts were all directed to the
young Aquarius girl. He did feel guilty about what happened. He decided to
concentrate his thoughts to follow the battle; so far Mu had stopped one of
them, Aldebaran couldn’t. Saga and DeathMask had stopped each one opponent.
Aiolia had the unfortunate luck to let one of the last two past. Shaka was
ready to receive the last intruder. One teenager entered the temple and looked
around.
Shaka
felt something was familiar about the young man, but he didn’t know what. He
decided to make his appearance.
Shaka: You have entered the sixth temple
of the Zodiac. You are not welcome here, warrior of Anubis.
Salem: I see... But I have to past you Gold Saint and I will!
Salem tried to past, but
hit a psychic wall. Shaka was behind it, eyes closed and calm as ever. The
young Anubis soldier was slightly surprised. He backed off a little.
Salem: I never thought that one of the prisoners was a Gold Saint. I supposed
that the girl is also one?
Shaka: That is not of your business.
Salem: Oh really? I did have a good time with her.
Shaka
shot his eyes while opened. He knew what this young man applied. That enraged
him beyond anger.
*
Libra Temple *
Dohko
felt the ground shaking and Shaka’s cosmos go higher than before. The Libra
Saint left something else coming from the young Saint; anger and… Hate. Dohko
was now very worried.
// Dohko: Shion, let me go downstairs. I’m
worried about Shaka. //
// Shion: You aren’t the only one who’s
asking me this… They all felt it. //
// Dohko: Shion? //
// Shion: I’m sorry, but I can’t let
anyone leave their temples… But someone is getting down to calm him. //
// Dohko: Really? //
// Shion: Yes… //
Dohko
cut the communication and kept vigilant eyes on the sixth temple. Shaka was
beyond anger and hate wasn't a good thing.
*
Virgo Temple *
Shaka
didn’t care anymore. This man in front of him had cause pain and more to an
innocent lady. He had attack him senseless, injuring him badly. But it's
opponent was still standing, smirking to annoy him.
Salem: Angry I touched her? Angry because you wanted her to be yours?
Shaka: Do not search something that is not
there!
Salem: Oh really? I thought she was your girlfriend or your precious person…
Shaka: SHUT UP!!!
Shaka
attacked him again, blind by rage. Salem
blocked him and threw him on the floor, holding him on the ground. He was
enjoying this; seeing one of Athena's greatest warrior in a pitiful position.
Salem: The way you act… I think you care about her.
Shaka: You…
Salem: I can see it through your acts Gold Saint, you like her.
Shaka: She was my responsibility during
our mission!
Salem: Bullshit! You can’t fool anyone!
Shaka: Shut up!
Shaka
managed to get out of the Soldier’s grip and get up. He was glaring at him;
Shaka had the feeling that the Soldier wanted to confuse him. Neither of them
had heard footsteps coming down and faith breathing.
Salem: Gold Saint, you can’t fool me, you obviously love the girl.
Shaka: Stop it…
Salem: You wish you could...
Shaka: SHUT UP!
The
Soldier was about to strike when he heard someone clear his throat. He looked
and almost gasped.
Salem: You…
Aurore: I never thought you would be one
of them…
Salem: You think you can fight?
Aurore: I was born a fighter.
She
held her silvery object in front of her; it was her Saint mask. Both of the
warriors were shocked; Salem,
because he wasn’t expecting it and Shaka, because she was suppose to be
upstairs. Also, the fact she had a mask meant she was a Saint. He had heard
about this fact, but he always thought it had been a rumor. She putted it back
in her small bag and glared at the Anubis Warrior.
Salem: You’re a Saint?
Aurore: I was supposed to be one, but I
left due to some circumstances. But that doesn’t mean I can’t fight you.
Salem: Without and armor? I doubt it!
Aurore: The cloth doesn’t make the Saint.
Salem: You…
She
passed beside Shaka, but was stopped by the Virgo Saint. She looked at him and
frowned; he obviously was angry, but worried about her.
Shaka: You don’t have to fight; it’s my
duty to protect this temple.
Aurore: I know, but you can’t when your
emotions aren’t in check.
That
left Shaka speechless, which made Aurore stepped forward to Salem. He wondered did he lose control of his
own emotions? Did he let his opponent get the better of him? He was just
confused.
Aurore
was now in front of her opponent and glared at him; she was going to make him
suffer for what he had done. On the other side, Salem was surprised that the girl was up and
walking. He just smirked; it was going to be easy, she didn't have a cloth.
Salem: Geez… Am I supposed to be scared?
Aurore: You should.
He
just smirked and decided to launch an attack. Aurore just concentrated her
cosmos to create her ice barrier, stopping him. He was surprised; the aura
around her was very cold, almost freezing. He didn’t let that stop him and
continue to punch and kick, but nothing past; he was still hitting an ice wall.
On
the sidelines, Shaka was surprised by Aurore's control over ice; she was
almost, if not, at the same level than Camus. He felt someone trying to contact
him.
// Shaka: What? //
// Mu: Is everything alright? //
// Shaka: I wish... Mu, I'm so confused...
//
// Mu: About? //
// Shaka How could I have lost control?
And why they send Aurore to fight? //
// Mu: They what?!!! //
// Shaka: Err… //
// Mu: Nevermind… Are you calmed enough to
resume? //
// Shaka: Yes, but Aurore is still at it.
//
// Mu: Alright. Tell me if you need
anything. //
// Shaka: Sure… Either that or send Aiolia
up. //
They
cutted the communication and Shaka looked at the fight; Salem had gotten closer to Aurore, who was
still maintaining her ice barrier. She was also in a defensive position. One
kick past through the barrier and she blocked it with her arm. Salem smirked and tried to pass more attacks;
Aurore was reduced to block with her arms.
Salem: Not bad…
Aurore: You haven’t seen nothing yet!
She
changed position and punched him on the chest, throwing him on the wall. Part
of his armored chest had been frost. He was surprised; what kind of power this
girl had?
Salem: My armor…
Aurore: Give up before I have to freeze
you or put you in an ice coffin.
Salem: You’re not strong enough!
Aurore: Do not underestimate me! I…
Shaka: I will handle the rest Aurore.
Aurore
looked at the Virgo Saint; he was calm as ever and had his eyes closed again. She
could see that he was ready to resume his fight with the enemy. Aurore just
pouted and let her place to Shaka. She went on the sidelines and watched the
fight.
Salem was annoyed; he
wanted to finish his fight with the girl. He had an idea, but he had to wait
before applying it. He positioned himself to battle against the Gold Saint
again.
*
Athena’s Temple
*
Shion
was sitting on his throne, beside Athena. He was keeping a close watch on the
battles; Mu had managed to stop and free his opponent, the same went for Saga,
Death mask had eliminated his and Aiolia had knocked out his opponent. Only
Shaka was still battling his opponent and something was worrying him; something
wrong might happen.
The
Bronze Saints and Kanon were keeping their guards up. Suddenly, they felt a
great cosmos falling. Shion got up, shocked.
Shion: No…
*
Virgo Temple *
Aurore
was shocked; not a minute ago, the Anubis Warrior had launched a lightning
attack… At her. She hadn’t expected it and now she didn’t know what to do;
Shaka had taken the attack for her. He was still standing, but his cloth was
shatter and he was going to fall soon.
Aurore: Why? Why did you take the hit?
Shaka: I don’t know… I… I think it was
guilt maybe.
Aurore: Guilt? Guilt for what?
Shaka: Guilt for not have protected you
before…
He
felt back and Aurore caught him right before he touched the ground. She could
see the blood on him.
Aurore: Why protect me? I thought…
Shaka: I was… I thought you were annoying,
but I found out that you weren’t… I got to know you better…
Aurore: Shaka… You…
Shaka: You’re not so bad after all…
Shaka
closed his eyes and felt unconscious. She felt silent; Shaka had thought better
about her. She could feel her tears falling from her eyes. She hugged him and
let her tears fall harder.
Aurore: SHAKA!!!!!
Note: Why do I love to torture them like
that? I don’t know… I would like to thank you guys for your patience… I had to
rewrite a part of the story and it took me sometime to decide which version was
better. So, see ya next chapter!!!
