Heartbreaker
Summary: Apparently, Kaidoh has a habit of turning people down. He does it politely and as gently as he can, but what happens when someone won’t take no for an answer?
Disclaimer: I don’t own all these wonderful…underage…pretty boys. I just don’t. The guy who made Prince of tennis does…lucky bastard.
Warning: None for now
Author’s Note: I like Kaidoh. I like Inui. But I’m not going to write them as one just yet…

Kaidoh was on his game. Even in this practice match against Eiji he was doing remarkably well even though his senpai was winning. It was five games to four and he had an advantage. It had been like this all week.
Inui pushed up his glasses and took down more notes on the team, but really more notes about Kaidoh. It appeared that since hooking up with Akutsu he was much different, almost like he was in a good mood all the time even if he did still hiss at people and argue with Momoshiro.
He on the other hand…
Inui had lost most of his matches this week, two to Momoshiro oddly enough. Sure the data was right, but his mind wasn’t focusing like it usually was. He was doing his best to keep it to himself and not upset anyone, but he knew the others were starting to notice.
“Inui-kun?”
“hm?” he looked up and Taka-san approached him, smiling amicably. “Yes, Taka?”
“Are you alright? You’re not watching any of the matches.”
Inui’s eyebrows went up. “I –hn.”
He fell silent and Taka came closer to him. “You know, we’re not the closest friends but you can talk to me you know? We all know you really like Kaidoh.”
“Thank you for…the consideration but…” He put away his pen. “I’m handling it.”
Takashi nodded and retreated to where Fuji and Momo stood watching a match between Oishi and a non-regular.
“What did he say?” Fuji asked without looking away.
“That he’s handling it…” Taka looked over his shoulder. “He’s watching Kaidoh again. He isn’t even writing now. He’s just watching.”
Fuji put his hands in his pocket. “Did he tell you he’s handling it?”
Taka nodded. “He always says that…”
Momo stood between his senpais and crossed his arms. “Maybe we should try and fix him up with someone? Take his mind off Kaidoh?”
“Eiji tried that.” Fuji told him. “It failed because…because Eiji was…overly friendly to the candidate.”
Momo and Taka gave thoughtful “Hms” and continued to watch the match. No one would come right out and say it, but Eiji was over affectionate, to say the least, when it came to other boys. His current target, who seemed to be resisting him pretty well, was Echizen. As far as they knew, the chibi hadn’t gone far enough with the cat, causing Kikumaru to stray frequently.
Momo leaned back and looked at Inui who was now talking with Echizen. “His eyebrows look upset.”
Fuji paused, then smiled. “You’re right.”
“Eh?” Taka turned around and saw what they were talking about.
Inui was talking with Echizen, but still staring at Kaidoh, his eyebrows slanted in worry.
“Inui…”
Echizen knew Inui wasn’t paying attention. “Inui-senpai.”
“Echizen?”
“You’re being rude. Besides, data can change right?”
The tall senior nodded. That’s what he kept telling himself, but Kaidoh seemed in such a good mood. Almost unnaturally so. What could he do if Akutsu was what Kaidoh truly wanted?
“When you can’t beat someone, don’t you go back and train so you can beat them? Train so you can beat Akutsu and win Kaidoh.”
“I…guess. Data on love is hard to gather…”
Echizen walked away, pulling his cap down. “Mada Mada dane senpai…”
Inui gave an absent nod and continued to watch Kaidoh.
“Game! Kikumaru Eiji! Six games to Five!”
Kaidoh stopped his movements and let out a hiss. He’d done well today. The extra training was paying off. He walked to the net and held out his hand.
“Good game Eiji-senpai.”
Eiji gave a good natured smile, then pointed outside of the courts. Kaidoh looked and he saw Inui staring at him. He stopped shaking Eiji’s hand and shouldered his racket.
“I’m sorry Senpai, but that’s not my problem.” He walked off the court, grabbing a towel and his water bottle. He walked past Inui and the by-standers, mostly Momoshiro looking disapproving, and sat on a bench.
Tezuka came around and told everyone practice was over and the mamushi headed to the locker room.
As he showered he decided that if Inui was down it was his own fault. He told the senpai they could still be friends, but that he didn’t feel the same. And now, his teammates were trying to make it out as if he were the culprit. He wasn’t about to have that.
He finished his shower and went to go get dressed, by passing a lot of his teammates on the way and giving small greetings. When he was getting dressed he paused entirely, realizing that Inui was still in the room.
“Senpai, can I help you with something?” he stared at the other boy, nothing given away in those black framed glasses.
“Does…Akutsu put you in such a good mood?”
Kaidoh put on his shirt. “I’m sorry but that isn’t any of your business.” He buttoned it, glancing down to make sure his fly was zipped. “I’m sorry you’re having a hard time Senpai, but I wish you’d stop.”
He then put on his uniform jacket and arranged the class pin. “I don’t care too much…but Jin is getting pissed off.” He took out a bandana, black, and tied it on. He bowed to Inui then.
“So please, stop monitoring me. I don’t mind it for the sake of tennis, but when I’m home, when I go to see him, please stop Senpai.”
Inui gave a nod. “I apologize, I just…you understand?”
“I do. Good evening.” He said, then left.

“The situation is about to get out of hand. As you saw this week, Inui isn’t on his game. I realize it’s important to him, but we can’t have him distracted. It just won’t do. I’ve talked it over with Vice-captain Oishi and we’ve come to a decision. Oishi?”
The calmer half of the Golden Pair stood and cleared his throat before addressing the assembly of Seigaku regulars minus Kaidoh and Inui.
“We’ve put together some candidates who would be good for taking Inui’s mind off Kaidoh or at least to convince him that he needs to get back on track.” He passed out several pictures. “We’ve already talked with his friend Yanagi and I think the people we have here will be excellent.”
Eiji raised his hand and Tezuka acknowledged him. “How come I didn’t get any pictures?”
Echizen pulled down his hat. “Because they don’t want you to sleep with anyone…”
“Hey!” the cat squeaked, indignantly. “I wouldn’t!”
Fuji looked down the list. “Hiyoshi of Hyotei…Niou of Rikkaidai…Yagyuu of Rikkaidai…” The boy put down the list and smiled, blushing a little. “They’re all very handsome.”
“Nya? Lemme see!” Eiji leaned over and whistled, Taka shaking his head and going through the pictures.
“Why do we have to have these Bucho?” the burning player asked.
Tezuka coughed into his hand. “So you know what the targets look like. It’s your job to convince one of them or all of them to go out with Inui. I’m sure Yanagi is already working with his teammates.”
Momoshiro stared at the photos, leaning over to look at the one Taka-san had on top. “That Yagyuu guy looks like Inui’s type, hm?”
Taka shook his head. “I’m…not sure.”
The bucho stood. “Well, this meeting is adjourned. I expect you to help as well Echizen.”
“Wiess…” he muttered, getting up.

Kaidoh didn’t mind that this was his usual route, he’d gotten used to it quickly even though it was far from his neighborhood. He stopped his run by a tree and wiped some sweat off his face.
“You’re late.” A voice grouched.
“I’m on time!” the mamushi hissed. “I’m always on time!”
“Shut up.” Akutsu came from behind a tree, tapping his sneakers on the ground. “You didn’t even bring a water bottle again, did you?”
“Shut up! I know what I’m doing!”
“I told you –”
Kaidoh nearly threw down his towel. “You don’t tell me what to do!” He snapped.
“Hn. Let’s go stupid mamushi…”
Kaidoh got ready to run again, his blood up. “Akuma yarou…”
So the two began running, trying to beat each other at first, but then falling into a smooth run that took them around the surrounding neighborhood and through the parks near Akutsu’s house. The ash haired brunette stopped suddenly, announcing a rest near some trees.
Kaidoh stopped running but he didn’t follow Akutsu to the trees, he instead took his time and wiped the sweat off his face. The was a small breeze blowing and he tried to enjoy it but Jin wasn’t having it.
“I said we’re resting Mamushi!”
“Fuck you Akuma!” he shouted, moving over there anyway. He sat down next to Jin, cross legged, his palms on his knees. “So what did you want?”
“We’re going by the shop.”
“Hn.” Kaidoh didn’t give it much more reaction than that. Akutsu wasn’t big on advertising that his parents owned a shop, not that he cared. He knew Jin had plans to introduce him to his parents, but they both weren’t into fancy things. He’d already told the Akuma that there was no way he was meeting his family, but Jin didn’t care about Kaidoh’s family.
“You’ll be polite.”
“Who said I was going?” he took the towel from around his neck and leaned into it when Akutsu kissed him there, the mamushi straddling his lap and leaning his head down to rest on the boy’s shoulder.
“Hn…what the fuck is wrong with you?” Jin asked softly, his hands already making their way up Kaidoh’s shirt.
“Forget it…” he hissed, lifting his head to work his tongue into the other boy’s mouth.
Jin stopped him and they looked at each other. “Hn?”
“I told him to quit following us…”
“That’s good.” He kissed Kaidoh then, rubbing his hardness into the other boy. “We can take the back way up and go to my room…”
“I don’t want to do that again…makes me nervous.” Kaidoh sat back, leaning back on his hands. Akutsu just looked at him. “This park makes me nervous.”
“I ain’t fuckin’ rich like Atobe Keigo. What do you want? A private cottage?”
Kaidoh stared the boy down. “I don’t want shit from you. Akuma yarou!” he spat, getting up. He snatched up his towel.
“I’m leaving you’re in a bad mood again!”
Akutsu sat there in his white shorts and old green Yamabuki tennis shirt. “Fuck off then.”
Kaidoh shook his head and jogged off, Akutsu just sitting there against the tree.

Momoshiro slid Takashi a covered box. “This is thanks for helping me with English. I got a good grade on the last test and my mom made these sweets for me.”
“Oh?” Takashi took the lid off the box and smiled. “Oh, chocolates!”
“Yeah! I thought I’d share them with you. I know if this showed up while Eiji was around, they’d disappear!”
Taka laughed. “Like when food appears in front of you?”
Momo nodded and both boys dug in. After a while, Taka spoke up.
“So now that you’re good at English, you won’t be coming over anymore?”
“Hm?” the boy’s mouth was filled with strawberry mochi. “Eh?” He swallowed. “Not at all. I like hanging out with you Taka-san! I was just thinking that we could go get something to eat or go somewhere instead of studying all the time!”
Taka nodded, blushing a bit. “That’s nice to hear.”
Momo nodded again and ate another pastry. “I mean, that’s only natural right Taka-san? I mean, you really like me don’t you?”
The future sushi chef turned crimson and gave a nervous laugh. “I…do.”
The tall junior wiped his mouth. “And I like you too!”
“Ari-arigatou…”
“Why else would I come over here to study for English, even though I’m making an A in that subject?”
Taka’s eyes grew wide. “But –Fuji said –you lied to me!?”
“I wanted to come over with a good reason Senpai!” he chuckled and pushed the box closer to Takashi. “Finish them?”
The brunette’s head ducked in a shy bow and he reached for the box, taking out a steam bun filled with custard. Momoshiro watched his senpai eat, a pleased smile on his face.
“Are you going to help with Inui senpai?”
Taka nodded and Momo grinned.
“Good, because it wouldn’t do for you to fall for one of those other guys either.”

Kaidoh was almost home when he heard feet pounding the pavement behind him and turned around. Akutsu stopped running and walked up to him, his hands shoved in his pockets.
“I didn’t say you could leave…” he shoved a small bag at Kaidoh and the boy stared at it, opening it.
Kaidoh took out the folded square of cloth inside and snorted. It was a light green bandana with diamond patterns.
“Your gift is stupid Jin.” He put it back in the bag and walked towards his house, Akutsu following. He went to the door and went inside, his brother greeting him.
“Onii-chan! Mother and Father are out for the night and I’m staying with a friend. I was waiting for you to show up! Where did you go running?”
“Across town nearYamabuki.”
“Wow, you sure can run for along time Onii-chan.” He noticed Akutsu and gave a bow. “Dozo Yoroshiku.”
Akutsu grunted and Kaidoh spoke for him. “This is Akutsu Jin. He ran with me today. Have you eaten?”
“I will eat later.” Hazue picked up his bag and bowed again to Akutsu and his brother. “I am leaving!”
Kaidoh watched him go, a smile on his face. He closed the door and headed up to his room, Akutsu following wordlessly.
When he got there, he tossed the bag on the bed and threw the used towel in the hamper. He got out some clothes and looked at Jin.
“Are you taking a shower?”
“I don’t like Inui. I’m going to kick his ass.”
“I don’t want to be with you if that happens.” Kaidoh got out a towel and some boxers. “Get out then.”
Akutsu cursed and began looking around the room. “I’ll take a shower as well.”
“Wait till I’m done.”
“I’ll go with you.” Jin said staring out the window.
Kaidoh turned a deep shade of red and faltered as he opened a clothes drawer. “I think it’s better to wait…”
“I won’t. Kaoru.”
Kaidoh just nodded to himself and got out another towel.

Inui sipped tea and couldn’t look up at his friend. “Why?”
“Everyone is worried about you. You know Niou-kun. It’ll be fine.”
The data tennis player shook his head, unsure of this fixed up meeting. “I don’t like the percentages on this. I think I should just go home…”
“Yanagi-kun, Niou couldn’t make it, so I came.”
Inui and Yanagi looked up to see Yagyuu there looking polite in his school uniform. Inui stood up and bowed, Yanagi offering him a seat beside him.
They all sat down and for a while, no one spoke.
Inui bowed over the table. “Sumimasen Renji, Yagyuu-kun. This wasn’t my idea, I’m sorry –”
Yagyuu shook his head. “No, it’s fine. Your friends only want to help you, though I was accosted a few times today by your team mates. They made you sound…pathetic.”
Inui’s eyebrow twitched and he made a quick note in his book concerning a new batch of Inui juice. “Well, I apologize for them as well –Renji?!”
The narrow eyed boy got up, smiling. “Well…I’ll leave you to it!” He left then, paying the woman at the counter for anything the two might eat or drink then left.
The data tennis player pushed up his glasses, suddenly very nervous. “I –”
“Your glasses are very interesting. Do you have them made so no one can see in them?”
This gave the boy pause. “Do you?”
“No, I find that I always seem to be in a place that allows for maximum glare…though it doesn’t impair me any.”
“Hm.”
“You’re too shy. This guy you like chose someone else because that person was more forward correct? Just go for it.”
Inui nodded and Yagyuu leaned across the table. “Like this…”
He kissed Inui on the mouth and withdrew. “Let him know how you feel.”
“Hn…interesting.” Inui got out his notebook and began to write, only to have it taken away by Yagyuu.
“That’s the first thing to go.”

Kaidoh approached the shower nervously, Akutsu leaning against the bathroom wall in a towel, looking cross.
“You want to take a shower right, get in!”
Kaidoh nodded, murmuring “Hai” before he discarded his towel and got in. He let the spray run through his hands and stood under it, wondering if Akutsu was really going to get in. It wasn’t as if he was shy –no, scratch that, he was shy. This was a different situation and he had no idea how to react.
After a while, he got used to the idea, though Akutsu hadn’t joined him in the shower. He began to scrub his body, beginning to wonder.
“Jin?” he said loudly.
“What?” came the irritated voice.
“Oh…” Kaidoh began to wash his hair and cursed when some soap slipped in his eyes. He opened the curtain a little and reached for a towel, muttering thanks when one was pressed into his hand.
He got the soap out and opened his eyes, he turned around to reach for the soap bottle again when he came face to face with Akutsu, standing in the shower, very much naked.
“Move it, you’re taking too long.”
Kaidoh’s face was crimson but he nodded and stepped aside, grabbing up the shampoo and washing his hair again. He was still blushing as he peaked over his shoulder at Akutsu’s ass. He tried to stop the grin that spread over his face, but hentai thoughts were running through his mind and he couldn’t stop them.
He was done lathering and nudged Akutsu to get in front of the spray. He was let by and the boy washed his hair, making sure the soap was all out before he smoothed his hair back and splashed water on his face.
“Fwssshh…” he said, relieved. He stood there under the spray for a bit, a grunt letting him know that Akutsu still needed to wash. He stepped out of the way and watched the boy’s back.
“Jin…” he said to softly.
He isn’t even trying to get at me or anything…
“Hey, yarou…” he spoke up.
Akutsu turned and Kaidoh leaned up and kissed him. “Hurry up, you’re using up my hot water.”
With that, Kaidoh left the shower and dried himself, going back to his room and slipping on the boxers he’d laid out. Not ten minutes after, Akutsu came in, his hair down and wet. He sat down next to Kaidoh and snatched a cigarette from his discarded pants, lighting up.
They sat next to each other, Akutsu smoking. They stared at the far wall, a few tennis posters and some traditional wall scrolls here and there with a calendar and a low table.
“Oy, Kaoru.”
Kaidoh didn’t have time to respond before he was kissed, Akutsu leaning to put his cigarette out on Kaidoh’s dresser.
“What the fuck –”
“Nn, I’ll fix it later…” he leaned Kaidoh down into the bed, kissing him. “I’ve got to go home…”
“Hn…” Kaidoh wove his fingers through wet hair, noticing how brown it got when it was like this. “Curfew?”
“No, I told my mother I’d do something.” Akutsu slid his fingers under the top of Kaidoh’s boxers, kissing him. “Hey…let’s do something before I leave…”
“hn.” He responded, gasping as Akutsu took a hold of his man hood.
Kaidoh tried not to hold back. He’d learned the first few times they’d done this, five times the first day he’d gone over to Jin’s, that the Akuma didn’t like him to hold back. However, his upbringing was in direct challenge to that.
He gave a whine, panting and lying back. “Jin…” he growled.
Akutsu latched himself onto Kaidoh’s nipples, plucking them between his teeth and moving his lips down, marking him. Red welts erupted and Kaidoh shifted, spreading his legs. He was starting to push into the boy’s hand now, wanting him.
“More…” he whispered. “A little more…”
“Eh? Mamushi?”
Kaidoh sat up a little, grunting. His breath was coming out to fast, too shallow. He felt his chest get tight and cried out, falling back. When he came down, Akutsu was in his mouth, his tongue running all over, tasting him.
He wanted this from him, why couldn’t Inui see that. His breath hitched and he stared into Jin’s eyes.
Why am I thinking about him now?
“What? Mamushi?” Akutsu whispered it, which was rare.
“I…are you going to be gone all night?”
Thought came into amber eyes. “I don’t know…” Akutsu sat up and grabbed his jeans again. It was nearly six thirty.
“You made me late.” Akutsu got up and snatched the towel from his head, drying his hair.
“Give me a brush.”
Kaidoh got up and gave him one, handing him his clothes so he could get dressed quicker. The mamushi watched Akutsu get dressed and toss the cigarette butt out of the window.
“I’m leaving.”
And then Akutsu left. Kaidoh shook his head and took up the brush himself, beginning to move back down over his eyes. Maybe he could order something good tonight if he had enough allowance.
The door came open and Kaidoh was pulled into a hard hug. Lips came down on his neck, sucking, a tongue licking heedlessly.
“Akutsu, leave.”
“Shut up…” came the dangerous murmur.
Kaidoh turned in his arms and kissed his mouth, secretly happy the boy had come back briefly. Akutsu latched onto his neck again and Kaidoh stood there in a state of bliss.
Would you do this for me senpai…I wonder…
“I’m leaving.”
Kaidoh nodded and followed him down, still in boxers.
“Go back upstairs!”
“Fuck you Jin! Get out!”
And they were against the wall in the foyer, grinding against each other, Kaidoh making happy pants into Jin’s mouth.
“What are you doing Kaoru!” the other boy grunted, groping his thigh. “Let go!”
But Kaidoh didn’t want to. He wanted Jin’s mouth.
They kissed feverishly for a bit before Akutsu backed off, wiping saliva from their mouths. Kaidoh let him leave after that, sliding down the wall, hissing in pleasure.
