Pickachu was worried. Following broken branches and twigs Pikachu had found Ash's pokeballs sitting loose underneath the the gradually thickening scrub. Looking back and knowing he had to get to Ash Pikachu counted them to make sure he'd found them all then hid them inside a tree hollow before moving on. Ash and Chikorita had been moving fast and hiding the pokeballs had given them a good head start. When he found the branch leading to the cave mouth he didn't even question it knowing his friend must have come this way. Inside the cave his night vision allowed him to find what the others had missed. A glowing about two feet high in the shape of a shamrock embedded into the wall. It glowed faintly as Pikachu approached it and he sniffed it cautiously. It smelt of sapphires and daffodils but nothing frightening. Giving it a quizzical look he continued on letting out an exclamation of 'Pika' when he found ash's shoes and socks. Stopping by the shoes he sniffed again to learn how long ago they'd been left and suddenly noticed he'd started glowing.
"Pika?" He questioned then looked back in the direction of the stone... "Pee-ka!" He said with frustration, and began to grow....

When Pikachu stood up next he no longer recognized himself. For starters he could stand, no longer overbalanced and forced onto all fours. Looking himself over He realised he looked mostly human now. Roughly 5 foot 4 he was mostly flesh coloured but had yellow and black stipes across parts of his body including longer fur atop his head. Walking back down the cave a little having been disoriented by the change he caught a brief glimpse of himself in the reflective shamrock stone. Seeing the dishevelled fur he immediately found himself fussing over his looks. It took several moments but before long he was happy. Finally finding the cave Pikachu looked around the edge created by the cavern walls and saw a sight to behold. At his eyes adjusted to the change in light he saw not the surroundings as Ash had seen but the two figures in the centre of the cavern. There was his best friend, lying prone on the ground with his eyes closed in both pain and pleasure. Above him, a girl.. Or not.. Thinking of the changes he had gone through and seeing the leaf on her head wave in the air he realised he looked at a pokemon, though surely not the pokemon he had known.

When discussed later nobody could quite agree what had happened. From Chikorita's perception Pikachu had barged in claiming that Chikorita was a bad pokemon and that they had to leave. When she and Pikachu talked about he'd insisted that he wanted her to leave with them because the place was bad... Both agree that when Pikachu grabbed Ash by the arm he pushed Pikachu to the ground, whispered something incomprehensible and began making out with Pikachu just and passionately as he had Chikorita a moment before.
From Ash's perception things were much more chaotic. Unable to understand the chatter the two pokemon were throwing back and forth Ash tried to calm them down, making calming gestures and trying to pull his pants back up. Next thing he knew the Pikachu had angrily grabbed his arm in mid motion and pulled on it. Stumbling forward, his feet tangled in his pants, Ash pulled Pikachu towards himself but gravity inevitably took hold and they fell into a heap on the ground with Ash on top.
"Are you Ok?" Ash muttered as he tried to get up again, his eyes locking on Pikachu's and their lower bodies pressed together. Thought the boy between them, and the three lay together until their strength returned.
