Storm backs away, keeping close enough to guard his trainer, but not close enough to get hurt if she should happen to miss with her attack. Alyria’s eyes glow bright blue as her hand begins glowing green, she summons all of her anger and every emotion she’s been holding back before aiming at the snarling Houndour and firing. She hits him in the side, the attack having been a dragon pulse. He falls before managing to stand and drags his claws over a small rock, unleashing a screech. Alyria snarls and stands still, somehow instinctively knowing the attacks she can use and how to summon them under stress. She uses Focus Energy and thinks about whether or not she’d be able to use a focus punch. Deciding to try it, Alyria summons her energy into her hand and takes a stance similar to a reverse punch. She then races at Firecry intent on knocking him out, but he moves out of the way and tackles her to the ground. He laughs, releasing smoke from his jaws, preparing a Fire Fang attack. He turns to Storm and barks a few times. Storm roars at the threat.

            “If you come near me or try anything, I will snap her neck in two. I bested her in battle, and I will claim my reward whether or not you allow it. This whelp may have raised me, but she will never defeat me. I will have her as my mate.”

            The voice is menacing and Storm has no doubt at all that Firecry means business. He growls, and whimpers softly, an apology to Alyria. He remembers the translator collar and speaks to her.

            “Alyria, Firecry intends to mate you. I can’t stop him or he’ll kill you. I’m sorry. I’m so sorry.” Storm whimpers, the legendary dog looking completely defeated as the fire type uses his claws to rip at Alyria’s clothing. The hybrid woman whimpers with tears running down her cheeks as she tries to think of a way out. She remembers how lost the males were when they were finally inside her and tries to think of a way to use it to get away from the now snarling Houndour. Alyria silently prays for help, and hopes she can remember how to use a water attack in time as the Houndour finally breaks through her clothing and begins to position himself to take her. Alyria braces herself and cries out as the Houndour roughly thrusts into her, snarling and growling loudly. Before she thinks, she acts, sending a quick burst of energy into Houndour’s eyes, blinding him. She’s learned how to do Flash, and quickly she gets up and runs, hopping onto Storm’s back, urging him to run before recalling Firecry into his Pokéball, and locking it.

            “Storm, I’m so sorry, I never should have taken him on.” Alyria leans against Storm’s neck and gathers his mane in her fingers, breaking down and crying. The Suicune murrs softly, unable to comfort his trainer, but intent on getting her home as quickly as possible.
