Choices

Hearing the door to the room shut, Zero slowly raised himself off of the floor. Wincing slightly, he walked carefully to Kuran’s bathroom and looked at himself in the mirror. He could still hear those words, ‘You really are a beast, Kiryu. To think you would enjoy being fucked by a vampire.’ He knew that it was a sad truth, he could not deny it. He really had wanted it, needed it, practically begged for it. ‘How can I ever look Kuran in the face again? He won. How could I have let that damned vampire win? Yukki, oh god, Yukki, what have I done? Enough. He may have won, but he will not break me.’ Zero shook his head and turned on the water. Cupping his hands in the water, he splashed his face. Looking in the mirror again, he stated in a dead pan voice, “Two can play this game, Kuran.” He walked out of the bathroom and spotted his pants on the floor. Picking them up, he happened to glance out the window. He could not say that he was looking for Kuran, hell he was just looking out to try to calm his soul really. Zero eyes widened with shock when his eyes feel on Kuran gently helping Yukki off the ground. ‘How dare he touch her? How could he act as if nothing had just happened? How could he be so gentle with her, when he had been so rough with me?’ Zero shook his head, trying to stop the thoughts that were flowing into his head. ‘Monster, beast in human form. You may be able to fool Yukki, Kuran, but I know your real form.’ Kuran suddenly glanced back at the dorms. Zero jumped back from the window slightly. He could have sworn that Kuran was looking right at him. ‘I can’t stay here. I must leave,’ Zero thought. Quickly slipping his pants and shirt on, Zero rushed out of the room. He ran down the stairs not even stopping to make sure that the doors were closed to the dorms.
Without remembering how he got there, Zero found himself in the stables. Lily was in her stall. The large white horse greeted Zero with a friendly wicker and looked him in the eye. Walking into the stall, Zero gently ran his hand down her neck. “Don’t look at me like that,” he said. Lily nudged her head against his shoulder. Zero sat down tiredly on the straw and closed his eyes.

Kuran walked out the Moon Dorm’s door, the other vampires following in his wake. They noticed the slight smile on their President’s face, but were careful not to ask where it had come from. They were a little uneasy; they knew something had happened, but no one was stupid enough to ask what. If the President wanted them to know, he would tell them. Kuran watched with a slight smile as Yukki tried in vain to push the Day Class back. He suppressed a snarl as he watched her be pushed to the ground. Walking up to her, he calmly extended his hand to help her up. Glancing shyly at Kaname, she asked the question that had been on her mind all day.
“Kaname-sempi, have you seen Zero?”

Zero awoke a short time later to the feel of something chewing on his hair. “Lily, stop it,” he said pushing the horse’s nose away from his head. “Are you upset that I didn’t rub you down today? Sorry, I’ll do it twice as long tomorrow to make up for it, okay?” Lily tossed her head as if she was agreeing and nickered. “Spoiled brat,” Zero said with affection. Standing up, he looked out the stable doors. It was already dark. ‘Yukki should be on her rounds,’ he thought. ‘I’d better go make sure she doesn’t get into any trouble.’ Zero scratched Lily between the ears one last time before making his way out the door.

As she started her rounds, her mind was full of questions, and there were so few answers. It was starting to give her a headache. Zero still had not shown up and it seemed that the Day Class would not be causing any major problems for once. As Yukki moved though the slightly wooded area toward the gate, she never noticed the shadow that had been quietly following her since the moon had risen.

Zero walked quietly behind Yukki, watching as she turned to glance over her shoulder. He watched in wonder as she shrugged her shoulders and started walking again. ‘She is just too trusting’ Zero thought. He heard her sigh and could not help but want to know what she was thinking about. He watched as she started to walk to the dorms. He was surprised when she turned suddenly on her heel and walked toward the Chairman’s building. Curious at what she was doing, Zero quietly followed.

Upon entering, Yukki quickly walked up to the large tub and turned on the water and, using her wrist, she checked the temperature. Letting her tired body slip into the hot water, she sighed softly. She leaned her head against the side of the tub and closed her eyes. As the hot water worked its magic on her tired and sore muscles, she let her mind wander back to thoughts of Kaname and Zero.

Zero walked down the hall in the Chairman’s building. He had waited until Yukki was all the way in the building before entering. He noticed that the light was on in the bathroom and that the door was cracked. Fearing the worst, he hurried to the door. The site he saw before him made him come to a sudden stop. He knew it was wrong to watch, but he could not tear his eyes way from the exotic scene before him.

Her thoughts took a more sensual turn when her fingers ghosted over her nipple. She let out a soft sigh as she softly squeezed her breast. Yukki gasped and moaned. Oh, God this was heaven. “What’s the hurry, Kiryu?”
“Nothing that concerns you,” Zero muttered low under his breath.

Kuran walked beside Zero, bumping against his shoulder roughly. “You know Kiryu; it is not nice to peep.”
