Chapter 4
Several hours later found him at a campsite outside of town, watching Patricia bathing in a nearby stream. 'So beautiful,' he thought to himself, scratching the back of his head. She had finally started coming out of her Taming Shock about an hour or so ago, but was constantly rubbing against him suggestively, especially after her battle. 'I really need to see if Viridian sells some Stamina potions...' he added silently, grinning. Taking off his shirt, he wadded into the stream next to her. “Feeling better, Patricia?” he asked her, running his fingers through her long yellow hair. “You did very well against that Eva today.” Leaning down, he panted a kiss on the red spot on her cheek, getting a slight tingling sensation running through his lips.
Patricia looked down shyly, having never gotten a compliment before that day. She looked back up and quickly kissed him on his lips, thrusting her tongue into his mouth. He moaned in surprise, falling backwards into the shallow water. She giggled, jumping into his lap. “Maybe you can show me how happy you are with me?” she asked, licking his cheek. She wiggled her bottom against him, grinning at him happily.
“Maybe not in the water, eh?” Simkin said, winking at her. Picking her up, he led her back to the camp, and more importantly the sleeping bag...
A couple hours later, Simkin was laying contentedly in his sleeping bag, Patricia cuddled up to his side sleeping. Starring up at the sky, he thought to himself, 'I could really get used to this whole Tamer thing.' Turning his head, he watched Patricia sleeping peacefully, her ears twitching in some far-away dream. 'I wonder what she dreams about when she sleeps...' Making a mental note to ask her in the morning, he turned himself onto his side to sleep...
...And found himself looking into the eyes of a Doggirl. Laying very still to not surprise it, he watched it, hoping it wouldn't attack. However, giving them a few sniffs, it apparently dismissed them, turning over to his backpack where he had a few snacks stuffed away for a special occasion. Picking up the backpack must have made a bit more noise than it had hoped for, however, because Patricia suddenly jumped up and Tackled the 'girl, pinning her to the ground.
“You leave Master's things alone!!” she yelled, slapping it in the face. The Doggirl just looked at her, her eyes going wide with some tears falling down the side. Patricia suddenly relaxed her muscles, instead just sitting down on the Feral. Pulling out his PokeDex, Simkin pointed it at the Doggirl, wondering what was going on.
“Doggirl – The All-Purpose Loyal PokeGirl,” the machine said, connecting to the PokeDex Mainframe located...somewhere in the world. “Commonly found in the wild in packs, they are fiercely loyal to whomever they deem worthy.” Scrolling down the list to it's attacks, the PokeDex found the move being used and said, “Puppy Dog Eyes – a move common to all canine-type PokeGirls, this attack allows the PokeGirl to bring about a feeling of pity and sympathy from it's opponent(s). When the opponent(s) stops attacking, it usually follows up with a fierce attack, commonly a Bite. Tamers should use caution, as their jaw is extremely strong, often able to leave teeth marks on steel.” Nodding, he looked back up at the two PokeGirls, just in time to see Patricia jumping up to avoid the warned-about bite. Shaking her head to get rid of the effects of the Puppy Dog Eyes, she jumped back up a couple more steps then rushed in, becoming little more than a yellow blur. Using her speed to her advantage, Patricia closed in on the Doggirl before she could move, tackling her back down to the ground before delivering a Thundershock directly to the Doggirl's body.
It worked just as well against this PokeGirl as it did against the Eva, leaving the poor 'Girl twitching on the ground, fur standing on end. Calling Patricia back to his side, he told her, “Very good, Patricia, you did that very well.” Walking over to the fallen Feral, he sat down on his knees next to her, wanting to make sure that no lasting harm was done to her. As she stopped twitching on the ground, he saw that she was merely unconscious, her body lax on the ground. Smiling, happy that she would be okay, he reached over for his backpack and pulled out his only empty PokeBall, given to his mother before he left with Patricia.
“I want you to use this to capture the next PokeGirl you get, okay?” she said, placing the PokeBall in his hands. “Before I went through Threshold, I was going to take the test to become a Tamer myself, so my father gave this to me. However, things changed, but I always kept this with me, as a reminder of my previous life.”
Simkin just looked at her, never knowing this about his otherwise mild mother. “I...I'm honored, Mom,” he said, giving her a big hug. “I promise you, Mom, I'll make sure you'll be proud of me.”
Coming back to the present, he gripped his mom's gift tighter in his hand before throwing it at the fainted Doggirl. A flash of red light and a soft 'DING' later, and he had his second PokeGirl in his Harem. Promising himself to learn more about Dina, as he decided to call her, he and Patricia went back to the sleeping bag...though Patricia had something a bit more than sleeping on her mind.
