~~**Forever Caged**~
Riki, still slightly disoriented from the stupid dart, stopped and leaned discretely against the wall just out of sight of the main busy lobby of Eos. His temper on an all time high from the snobby pets and Elites he’d passed.
Piss-ass mother fuckers rubbed Riki the wrong way by how some of them tried to pretend he wasn’t walking pass them, but at the same time altering their courses to come closer to him. Yelling at those bitches did nothing, and it seemed to excited those perverted pets and Elites rather than chasing them away.
Any other day the hypocritical attitudes from the residents of Eos would make Riki laugh. However, today wasn’t one of those fucking days. His head was killing him. His body felt like led, making walking a thousand times harder, and having Iason- with an amused look on his frighteningly beautiful perfect face- ask if he wanted him to carry Riki back up to the apartment when they stopped in front of the ice palace of Eos, only pissed Riki off all the more.
“Reached your limit, have you?”
Riki growled. “Kiss my ass,” Riki hissed to Iason, who came to stand in front of him.
“With pleasure, however, I’d prefer to do so in the privacy of our home,” Iason replied with a smile.
“Your fucking enjoying yourself, aren’t you?” Riki said, glaring at Iason. The person Riki’s mood was in the shits. Riki remembered closing his eyes in the limo. His body stretched out on the seat, and his head on Iason’s lap. But when Riki woke up from his little forced nap from the stupid drugs in the dart, he’d been laying fully in Iason’s lap. His arms around his Blondie’s neck. Iason told him he’d been purring, and nuzzling his chest. Making soft meowing noises every so often.
Lies.
All of it were fucking lies!
Riki wouldn’t put it pass that fucking sadistic bastard to mess with his head by pulling his sleeping ass into his lap, then stage it so it looked like he was snuggling up against him. And he didn’t fucking purr. Iason fucking purred when they had sex, or when he wanted to get laid, not him.
“It is not every day you show me such open affection, in such a loving tame and gentle way,” Iason said. His eyes bright with laughter.
“Yea, yea,” Riki sneered. “Laugh it up asshole. We’ll see who’ll be the one chuckling it up when I smother you with a fucking pillow while your sleeping.”
Riki stiffened when Iason leaned close, his breath tickling his ear with his hot breath.
“That is where you are mistaken,” Iason said softly. “Isn’t it you who smothers his cries in a pillow?”
Riki jerked his head away. “Not,” Riki said through clenched teeth, “What I was fucking talking about.” Riki jabbed his finger on Iason’s chest. “Don’t think for a second you can piss me off so I won’t ask what kind of trouble you got yourself into today. Because there is know way you just let me go into Midas. You and I both know that bet we made, you already knew my boys would go wild and case a scandal which would make me a winner.”
Iason smiled. “Mongrels are unpredictable creatures. There was a fifty percent chance I would have won.”
Riki snorted. “Yea, sure. And I’m a fucking virgin-“
“Your Excellency.”
Riki snapped his head around. His vision turning red at the sight of the Onyx Elite, Jerico. “What the fuck do you want,” Riki all but growled.
“Forgive us for interrupting-“
“No, you’re not forgiven,” Riki said curtly. “Piss off.” Riki smiled darkly at the Onyx when the Elite looked at him murderously. His smile widening when Iason said nothing about his disrespectful words towards his fellow Elite.
“Short tempered as always I see.”
Riki slid a glance to the Blondie stepping in front of Jerico. “What? No new sex doll to flaunt around today Jared?” Riki said. “I think this is the first time I haven’t seen some pre-teen groveling at your feet.”
The Blondie chuckled. “Today is all about business Riki.”
“Bet you a ten thousand bucks you were praying your ass off Iason chained my ass in the apartment,” Riki said, eyeing the good looking green haired man next to the Blondie, and frowning slightly as he studied the guy. Do I know this guy? Riki wondered.
The dude looked to be in his mid thirties… but at the same time he didn’t. He resembled the green haired guy he’d seen on the street earlier, the man who’d warned him the mongrel brat got caught by the cops… Yet, that guy had been younger…
“And if you lose? How will you pay?” the Blondie asked Riki.
“Don’t got money,” Riki said, then grinned. “How about I arm wrestle Jerico? Unless your fist still hurts?” Riki snidely said, referring to the time he’d caught the fist Jerico threw at him when the Elite thought to take Jade at the party.
“How would you know Jerico harmed his fist?” Iason said softly, making Riki cringe ever so slightly.
“Riki noticed bruising on my hand at the party I attended briefly,” Jerico replied stiffly.
“Did he…” Iason said, staring at Riki.
“Is this party an even only for Elites? Or for everyone?”
Riki stared hard at the man. He knew that voice! “Who the hell are you?”
The man pulled out a silver case from his breast pocket. Opened it, he withdrew, and held out a card to Riki. “My name is Riadson. I’m here to discuss my company’s future with Sir Jared Kyl.”
Taking the card, Riki read out loud, “Mark Riadson. CEO of Regius Ichneutic Octonocular, Inc.”
“Quite a mouthful, isn’t it?” The man said. “I always introduce my company as “RIO”. Sounds better, and much easer for a potential client to remember.”
“RIO. Inc, huh?” Riki said, tapping the card on his thigh. “I think I’ve heard of you guys.”
“Well, we are very well known,” The man said proudly. “I’ve even heard rumor from my competitors that if you’re bad person- When you die and go to hell you’ll most defiantly see RIO there as well.”
“I’m sure they do,” Riki said dryly.
“We offer many services, and my employees are nothing but the best. I make sure to have only professionals on my staff. There is nothing we can’t do, no job we can’t finish, so if you’re ever interested, please give me a call.” The man grinned at Riki.
Riki felt like strangling Rio – and it was Rio, Riki was looking at. He didn’t know how the hell the punk ass kid made himself look so old. Rio didn’t look like he was wearing make-up. The pink eyes didn’t surprise Riki since he knew Rio could change the color of his eyes at will.
“You must make nice little bundle of cash, if you’re as good as you say you are,” Riki said.
“What can I say,” Rio said grinning. “We’re killers in our trade.”
Reckless son of a bitch! Riki spent enough time with the damn mercenary to know how careless the punk could be. After all, the guy befriended Riki and the boys. But to blatantly be saying who he actually was in front of three Elites. The dumb ass even named the planet Riki met Rio on. Gilesse or Hell as they’d nick named the planet. The world Rio and his kind turned into a training grounds to perfect their skills in war and killing.
Riki pocketed the card Rio gave him. The first opportunity he found himself alone, Riki planned on calling the phone number on the card to demand what Rio was doing on Amoi. Considering what Rio did for a living, the naturally blonde haired assassin, could be on a ‘job’. The question is, who hired Rio, and who was Rio’s target.
“You seem to have taken a shine to Riadson, Riki,” Iason said softly, making Riki cringe.
F-ahhh-k! Even though Riki bashed Rio silently about his stupidity of what he sneakily said in front of the Elites. Riki somehow forgot about Iason, who – after questioning Jerico about how Riki knew the Onyx’s hand was injured- said not one word after.
“What?” Riki growled defensively. “Just because I haven’t told the guy to fuck off, you think I like him?” Riki tensed, his hands curling into fists at his sides when Iason smiled in that secretive “Know-it-all” way of his.
So caught up in the shock of seeing Rio, Riki never thought of how quiet Iason stood beside him. Iason was just as dangerous silent as he was speaking. For all Riki knew Iason probably already pieced together who Rio was, and maybe even knew from where Riki met Rio.
“You are not exactly sociable Riki,” Jared said, his forest green eyes narrowed in suspicion. Looking back and forth from Riki to Rio.
“Well, it’s either I talk to him or one of you two,” Riki said to Jared, and sneering at Jerico. “This guy seemed to be the better choice to “engage in pleasantries” .”
“How long will you be here visiting us on Amoi, Riadson?” Iason asked, stepping closer to Riki and placing his hand on Riki’s shoulder. Giving Riki a slight squeeze in warning to remain quiet.
“I’m here on business. Depending on how everything goes, I should only be on the planet for a week. Maybe two if there are any serious complications,” Rio said.
“It would please me if you’d extend your stay,” Iason said. “I’d very much like to speak to you after you’ve conducted your dealings with Jared.”
Riki let out a soft- short- bark of laughter. “It would please me if you’d extend your stay” in Iason talk meant, “You’re going nowhere until I say so”. Whatever game Rio was playing, he picked the wrong world, and the wrong opponents to play mind games with. Fucking Elites were the kings of that shit.
“Of course,” Rio said, smiling. “And please, if you need anything Sir Jared Kyl knows where I am staying.”
Riki’s grit his teeth in pain as Iason’s hand tightened painfully on his shoulder when Rio looked at him, as he said Jared knew where to find him if Iason needed him for anything. The fucking amount to glances Rio shot over to him, while the assassin spoke to Iason, was enough for Riki to know Iason was going to be on his ass the moment they got back up to the apartment.
“If you’ll excuse me,” Jerico suddenly said, bowing to Iason before spinning on his heel and striding away.
Riki frowned as he watched the Onyx. Where’s he going in a hurry?
“We will also be taking our leave. I still have may things to show Mr. Riadson before escorting him back to his hotel in Tanagura,” Jared said, extending his arm towards the main lobby. “If you’ll follow me.”
Riki glared at Rio when the bastard gave him an innocent smile, and wave good bye as he followed the Blondie away from them.
“There is a lot of things you failed to tell me of your ‘vacation’, isn’t there?” Iason said.
Looks like Iason wasn’t going to wait until they went upstairs, Riki ‘tsked’ to himself. “And there’s a lot of things you’ve failed to tell me too,” Riki replied. “But you don’t see me nagging you about it, do you?”
“Nagging?” Iason said, arching a pale brow.
“Yeah. Nagging,” Riki said, but his attention wasn’t on the trouble he was in with Iason, but on Jerico. Where did that fucker go in such a hurry? From where Riki stood, he couldn’t see the lobby, but Jerico- being slightly out of the little group Rio, Jared, Iason and he’s been in- could.
“I believe this is a conversation best held at home,” Iason said, pulling Riki back.
“Yea… Sure. Just wait a sec,” Riki mumbled, shrugging Iason’s hand off his shoulder. “I wanna check something out real quick…” Riki- still a little wobbly from the strange drug in the dart- started forward, back out into the lobby, following after Jerico.
oOoOoOo
Jade, after lying to Gideon’s kind Furniture, Evan, that he wanted to go to the saloon to play, hesitated for a second before ringing the doorbell of Sir Mikhale Tain’s apartment.
He didn’t have to lie to Evan of where he wanted to go, but considering the Furniture would more than likely tell Gideon he’d gone to visit Lilly, Jade didn’t want to tell Gideon why he went to Sir Mikhale’s apartment, and what he’d spoken to Lilly about.
Stepping quickly back as the door opened, Jade smiled when Jussal, another kind Furniture, appeared. “Hello Jussal. Um… Is Lilly accepting visitors?” Jade hadn’t had the chance to speak to Lilly at the party, so he didn’t know if his friend’s situation with his Blondie master could be. If Lilly’s relationship with Sir Mikhale became better, or worse…
Jade’s concern faded when Jussal gave him a kind, and happy, smile. “Sir Lilly has gone to escort Master Mikhale to the front doors. It has become routine of Sir Lilly to do so every morning and afternoon when Master Mikhale comes home for lunch. I do believe Sir Lilly will stay downstairs for a few hours longer if you’d like to go see him.”
“O-oh!” Jade said, surprised. “That’s wonderful.” Jade grinned widely at the news that Lilly and his master weren’t fighting.
“Yes,” said Jussal. “I’d had my worries of what would happen once Sir Lilly came back from his… outing. However, it seems time apart is all they needed.”
Jade nodded slowly, refraining from stating that Lilly didn’t have an outing like Jussal kindly put it, but ran away. “It looks like it was.” Jade bowed to Jussal. “Then I’ll go and see if I can find him. Thank you Jussal!” Jade waved, and started off to the elevators.
In the elevator Jade frowned, feeling as if he were forgetting something. The feeling stayed with Jade as he arrived at his designated floor. Stepping out, Jade nervously looked around. Pets looked him up and down, and while Jade’s attire was completely different than what he use to be forced to wear with Sir Jerico – covered instead of walking practically nude- Jade felt uncomfortable, and fidgeted under the other pets judging eyes.
Taking a few hesitant steps forward, Jade tried to find the Lilly in the lightly crowed lobby, and sighed in relief when he spotted his lovely friend walking towards him, waving at him in greeting.
Jade’s returned, welcoming smile back to Lilly faded as his friend skidded to a stop. Lilly’s eyes widening at something to his left, before rushing forward. Jade turned his head just as a large shadow fell upon him. Long wisps of black hair against garments only an Elite could wear, Jade didn’t need to look up to see who blocked his path.
“Jade…”
Shivering in terror at the deep voice of Sir Jerico, Jade stood frozen in his spot. Too scared to run due to the quiet rage which rang in his former master’s voice. His eyes locked on the black shine of Sir Jerico’s boots, Jade whimpered as the Onyx grabbed his arm- panicking- as he was pulled backwards the short distance back to the elevators.
“Sir Jerico!”
Jade turned hopeful, pleading eyes to Lilly who finally made it to his side. “L-Lilly…” Jade whispered, reaching out and grabbing Lilly’s arm. Holding on for dear life.
“Remove yourself from his side,” Jerico hissed at Lilly.
“Sir, please think of your actions,” Lilly whispered, glancing to the curious Elite’s and pets walking by at a distance. “Jade is no longer your pet. If you take him away you will be causing a scene, and bring trouble to yourself.”
Jade bit hard into his lip as the Onyx’s grip around his arm tightened painfully.
“Let go of him Jade,” Sir Jerico ordered.
Shaking his head, Jade held onto Lilly. “It i-is as he says,” whispered Jade. “I-I belong to Sir Gideon now, a-and if I go with you… If I go with you…”
“You’ll get your ass kicked.”
“Thank goodness,” Lilly breathed, and Jade had to agree when glittering black eyes met his.
“You seriously don’t take the hint, do you Jerico,” Riki said to the stiffened back of the Onyx’s. “You’re not wanted. Hell, it’s fucking scandalous the way you keep sniffing around my son.”
Regardless of the pain of Sir Jerico’s hand gripping his arm, Jade shyly beamed with happiness at how Riki claimed him. Riki’s words didn’t go pass their group, but just hearing the black haired mongrel say them made Jade glad.
“Son?”
Jade lifted his chin, meeting the astonished eyes of Sir Jerico.
“Yea. Son.” Riki snickered, taking the few steps and standing between Jerico, Lilly and Jade. “And I’d be oh so peachy if you’d take your hands off my kid.” Riki smiled darkly as he placed his hand over the Elite’s, which imprisoned Jade, and forcefully removed Jerico’s hold.
Jade stumbled back a safe distance, rubbing his throbbing bicep. Lilly, at his side, curiously held his wrist to his face, and as Jade inhaled the fragrant scent coming of Lilly’s skin, the pain lessened and relaxed him. As Lilly wrapped his ‘magic’ around him, Jade continued to watch Riki face Jerico. His concern heightening as he saw Sir Iason- ever so slowly- make his way to their side.
“Does it disgust you knowing Jade is of my blood?” Riki taunted. “To think that all this time you had a mongrel under your roof, while you were spitting at my feet and sneering at Iason for taking in “a bit of trash” for his play thing.”
“Riki-“ Jade started to say- wanting to warn him of the way his Excellency watched them, but stopped when Lilly shushed him.
“Don’t interrupted him Jade,” Lilly whispered. “Sir Jerico can’t hurt Riki, not while Sir Mink is here.”
Jade knew better. It didn’t matter if Sir Iason was here with them. The reason why Sir Jerico wasn’t retaliating is because Riki had the power to stop the Elite, and had demonstrated his superior strength to Sir Jerico when Riki saved Jade from him at the party.
His concern for Riki was how the majestic Blondie, Sir Iason Mink, just stood back, allowing Riki to disrespect an Elite before his eyes. Watching as Riki forced Sir Jerico to retreat with cold interest shining in those icy blue eyes.
There was also the fact his identity as Riki’s son were to be kept secret. “Riki, stop,” Jade franticly whispered. Not too far away Jade saw another Blondie watched with mild curiosity, but the man next to the Elite with green hair… Jade frowned. Do I know that man? Jade blinked in surprise as the strange- yet familiar- man winked at him.
“You will not be around to protect him forever Riki,” Jerico said as he straightened the ends of his coat.
“That wouldn’t be a threat, would it Jerico?” Iason softly inquired as he finally joined Jade’s group. “It needs not be said of how unwise it would be for you if it were.”
“Most certainly not your Excellency,” Jerico replied, bowing at the waist. “My ex-pet and I still have unresolved issues which need to be dealt with. However, the young Riki has seen fit to constantly… involve himself in my personal affairs.”
Jade backed up when Jerico- as he bowed- met his eyes. The Elite look of rage shimmering in the Onyx’s light brown gaze.
“Bitch you just don’t get it do you.” Riki laughed. “Jade aint yours anymore. You’ve been kicked to the curb, and been replaced with a better model.”
“That is enough Riki,” Iason softly warned. “Take Jade upstairs. I will join you shortly.”
“Yea, yea. It’s not like your talking to anyone interesting for me to stick around.” Riki snickered, waving Jade and Lilly to the elevators.
Trembling, Jade did as Riki silently ordered. Not wanting to look at Sir Jerico, Jade turned his eyes one last time to the familiar man next to Sir Jared, and gasped at the deadly smile that flashed on the man’s face as he stared at his ex-master.
“Riki…” Jade whispered, nodding as inconspicuously at the man.
“Fucker’s got a serious death wish.” Jade heard Riki mumble as his mongrel father pushed him into the elevator.
Not knowing how to respond to Riki’s comment, and not asking for an explanation just incase the Elites were listening, Jade held in his questions until the metal doors closed. But once they did, did Jade remember Gideon’s order, and the horrifying realization that he’d disobeyed his Blondie.
