~ Chapter 8- Hard Decisions ~

~ Normal POV~

Syaoran immediately went over to the door and open it, and there stood the angel he had fallen for, looking rather upset. Her cheeks were tear-stained and her eyes were red and puffy.

“Kami-sama! What happened...?” asked Syaoran worrily as sheew hew her arms around him.

“Syaoran... Why didn’t you tell me...?” she asked, her voice shaking with fear.

Then it strike Syaoran. ‘She found out? Probably the good work of the Cardcaptor...’ he thought angrily.

“I... I didn’t know how to tell you...” he stuttered, stroking her silky amber hair, “I thought if I told you, you will think I’m some kind of freak... and then you’ll leave me, and I would have just died...”

“Demo... why did you kill my father 5 years ago?”

Guilt hit Syaoran when he had remembered what he had done quite a few years ago. He had taken the life of his angel’s father, and laughed at it. He felt so wrong that he wanted to die...

“I love you so much, but...”

Sakura looked up as a single drop of tear dropped onto her hair. She gently stroke the tear away from Syaoran’s face and hugged him tighter.

“Onegai...ase ase don’t cry, I feel so bad when you do...” she said.

“I love you so much, but I don’t deserve you... All the things I’ve done since 300 years ago... My cherry-blossom, you only deserve the best... but me... But I can’t imagine life without you... It’ll be dark and... empty...”

“I never said I wanted to leave you... Also Cardcaptor Meilin said...”

Thenoiceoice in Syaoran’s head scrowled. ‘So it was that fucking bitch!’ He thought angrily.

“... she told me that the only way I can be with you is if I become one of your kind...”

Syaoran head shot up. “No you mustn’t...” he said, “You have no idea about the pain and suffering... The guilty feeling after each of you’re kill... Everyone thinks you’re a freak and you have lots of enemy...” He sighed. “I... I don’t want you to go through what I have been through, my love...”

Sakura leaned forward on tippy toe and placed a feverish kiss on his lip. Syaoran opened his eyes to see her emerald eyes sparkling at him.

“Whatever it is, I would do anything to be with you...” said Sakura, giving him a gentle smile.

Syaoran put his hands on her waist and sighed. “Look... you don’t know what you are talking about... You have to at least give it some time to think about...”

Sakura nodded. “Hai, I’ll come back a few days later and tell you my answer...”

Syaoran smiled slyly as she lean forward to place another kiss on his soft lips.

She fall back onto the couch with him over her, and their kissing resume. (A/n: This is dedicated to all you people that wanted me to write another lemon in this fic... aghh!)

Syaoran slowly reached over to unbutton Sakura’s shirt as she let his dressing gown fall to the floor.

He quickly removed the opened shirt out of the way and kissed her nipples gently, making her moan.

Seeing the goosebumps on Sakura legs told him that she was cold. With one arm, he encircled her entire body and carried her to his bed.

He dropped her softly on his silky blankets, making her shiver as she felt those sheets again.

Syaoran slowly pulled off her skirt attached to her undies.

He took another good long look at his angel, naked in front of him...

“Kami-sama, you are so beautiful...’

Sakura smiled, and saw exactly how hard he was...

She slowly removed his boxers, leaving him entirely naked, with his body over her’s...

“Now... onegai...” she begged as she felt herself getting a bit wet.

Syaoran slowly entered her slowly, making her moan softly. They started off with a slow rhythm, which was torturedly unhurried, driving Sakura insane...

“Onegai... Syaoran...” she pleaded him with her eyes.

He did exactly what she wanted him to do, speeding up... her whimpers turn into moans... And very soon after, they became frantic cries, as she was about to come.

Syaoran didn’t care about going slow any more, all he cared about was reaching his peak, and bringing her with him.

Sakura held onto his waist and bucked her hips into his, meeting his thrusts with her own.

There was something just out of reach, but as Syaoran slid in her again, she was there.

She grabbed onto his back, her nails digging into him. When everything was calm, the two lovers sighed as they separated.

Sakura sighed as she looked at her watch. “I have work tonight so I got to go...” she panted as she slowly slipped on her clothing.
oranoran watched sadly as he watched Sakura left the small apartment. ‘I want her to be with me forever, but I don’t want her to go through the pain and suffering...’ he thought.

‘I really wish I knew what to do...’ he thought.

A voice in his head spoke and said, ‘Do what you think is right...’ It was Meilin.

Actually, the truth as it is revealed, 400 years ago, Syaoran faced the same decision as the one that Sakura has now...

~ Flashback story ~

Meilin was engaged to Syaoran by family arrangement, but Syaoran just never seem to feel the same way about Meilin.

So one day, he took a stroll in the nearby park and there he saw, a beautiful girl with long silky brown hair, beautiful sapphire eyes and the sweetestle. le.

He immediately fall for that mistress...

Everyday, he would go there at the exact same time to secretly meet the girl, and one-day, it turned out, she seduced him so much that he couldn’t resist her beauty anymore. There in the small house, they made love.

From that day on, Syaoran’s mind was only filled with her... and nothing else; he got so carried away that sometime he even doesn’t come home...

Then one day, she told him the truth... she was a vampire...

She had also told him that the only way that they could be together was if he became one too.

Because Syaoran was deeply in love with her, he didn’t see the consequences.

That night, he told her his decision... He would join her if she promised to be by his life for the rest of his damned life. She promised...

There, that night, she bit him...

Syaoran was not very keen in killing innocents for blood, and the more and more he killed, he felt even sicker. But he tried to be an optimist, always thinking, ‘Hey, now I can be immortal and be with my love forever...’

But he was wrong...

One day, she left, without notice...

All this time, that beautiful mistress had a partner in crime... Her duty was to get other’s to be sucked in into becoming one of their kind, because the vampire population was greatly falling... In fact, they were the remaining 3 left...

Syaoran ran home and told Meilin that he had had a affair with another women... He told her everything, even the part about their passionate night together and how he is a vampire now...

Meilin was extremely angry, she told him to get out of her site and that one day, and he’ll pay... Him and he kind...

She was able to do something when she discovered the Clow cards sealed in the attic of her huge mansion...

There, she became the Card’s mistress...

Syaoran was angry with her... That beautiful girl that took his soul for granted. He could make out her face, laughing and teasing his pain to be a freak for the rest of his fucking life.

There, he swore, he would never take pity n anyone again, he will trust no one and will laugh at people’s pain.

‘I should let people know how much I suffered...’ he thought evilly...

For some reason, over the past few months, Syaoran kept on seeing the figure of the other 2 vampire


‘Meilin...’ he thought, remembe tha that she said she’ll get him and his kind back.

‘I will never forgive you...’ a voice whispered in his head, ‘I will never forgive you...’

~ End of flashback ~


Syaoran’s flashbwas was interrupted when a figure flew in through one of his open window.

“What the fu...” he cursed, “Meilin? What are you doing here? Do you want to start shit again, cause I’m not in the mood...”

“Syaoran, I have a pretty good idea what is going to happen. My cards have predicted that Sakura will...” she said, with her arms folded.

“Choose... to be with me?” he asked anxiously.

“You have to found out yourself, but I did say I would make you pay...”

Syaoran gasp. What was she going to do? Just because she was the reincarnation of the original Meilin, she was still capable of killing Sakura or him with her magic, and she could change the future...

“S... so what are you going to do?” he asked, with slight fear in his voice.

Meilin got up. “I did say I’ll make you pay, but I’m not that cold-hearted for you to have another chance to be with the girl you love... So, I’m letting you off the hook this time... You better treat her nicely, or I’ll be back, very SOON...”

Then she jumped out.

‘She came to make peace?’ he thought, ‘That is very unlikely of Meilin...’
