I Believe in Happy Endings

I don’t remember anything for a while, but my next memory was me lying on Yuki’s bed—our bed. I was wearing some loose, cotton pajamas; the shirt was completely unbuttoned. Yuki had a chair pulled up to the bedside, and he was lightly running his fingers over my bruised ribs. I looked up at his frowning face.

“…Yuki…”

“Does it hurt badly?”

I grabbed his hand with mine, the one I wore my ring on. He squeezed my fingers to his heart. With his free hand he touched my side again. “Who…who did this?”

“Suguru”

He touched my temple. His voice shaking with anger, he asked, “And this?”

“..My father”

He took me in his arms, then sobbing on my shoulder. “Oh, Shuichi! I’m so sorry! This is my entire fault. If I hadn’t….”

“No, Yuki; don’t say that. You’ve made me so happy. I can’t live without you.”

We clung to each other, crying. I wanted to kiss him, I wanted to feel his kiss, but after that little episode in the bathroom a little while ago, I wasn’t sure how to proceed. I really didn’t feel that way about Tatsuha, not while I had Yuki. I hoped Tatsuha didn’t….What the hell am I thinking? This is Yuki--- my Yuki. I’ll just ask him how he feels.

“Yuki,” I started. “Yuki, back there--- in the bathroom, I mean….I….”

“Don’t worry about it, my shu-chan” I guess I’m not the only possessive person in our relationship.

“I just wanted you to know…”

“Tatsuha told me what happened. It’s all right.”

“…What exactly did he say?” No one can blame me for being to careful.

“That he kissed you. That you really weren’t yourself. My God, Shuichi, you passed out in the water the moment I walked through the door!”

“I…Yes, I guess that’s what happened.” I sniffed a little, wiping at my eyes.

“I thought things must have gone well at home…You were gone for such a long time.”

I covered my face with my hands. “It was hell. I waited two whole weeks before I told them what has happened between us, and up until then all I wanted to do was run back home to you.” I put my hands on his shoulders. “I missed you.”

He leaned his head to the side, resting it on my hand. “I was going a little nuts here, myself.” He leaned his face down to mine, rubbing his nose against my nose and giving it a little kiss. He pressed his forehead to mine, took a deep breath, and swallowed. His eyes were closed and he was breathing a little quickly.

“Yuki….why won’t you kiss me?”

His lovely lips curled into their usual pretty smile. I’d missed that so much…. “I don’t want to hurt you. Your lip’s swollen badly. Did Suguru…”

“No; that was my father, too.” I ran my tongue over my sore mouth, and then arched my neck, begging for his sweet kisses. His lips lightly brushed mine, barely touching.

I turned away in mock disgust. “Can’t you do better than that?!” I said, pretending to be angry. Then I grabbed him by his slender waist and pulled him right out of his chair.

I was holding him tight, but he struggled to get off of me. “Shuichi! Please, don’t…I don’t want to hurt you!”

“Do I look hurt to you?” I tickled him; I knew he hated that, but I had to convince him. Actually, every movement was knocking the wind out of me, but as long as he held me and kissed me, I knew I’d be fine. Even sex would wait, if it must.

I rolled over on top of him, pinning him to the mattress. “Kiss me like this!” I ordered, attacking him. I eagerly tasted his mouth, then I bit his neck. I was playing a bit rough, but that’s okay. Yuki never complained. “Now do you believe me?”

He didn’t answer. His eyes were closed. He was completely lost. I didn’t have to touch him to know he’d grown hard during out little game. Oh well. Guess sex couldn’t wait.

I crawled down the bed, sliding his pants off him, and then tossing his shirt off the bed. I knew he knew I loved him; we were doing this to satisfy the lust that had built up over the past two weeks of celibacy. I bent my head over his stomach, running my tongue in a trail from his belly-button down. He gasped as I kissed the tender skin between his legs. His hands flew to my head, his fingers grasped in my hair. He said my name.

Funny, how the sound of one’s own name on a lover’s lips can impassion you beyond your wildest expectations.

Soon my own clothes were lost in the pile of clothes. I found myself pinned under Yuki as he assaulted me with lustful kisses. His hands roamed up to shoulder and down to my belly. I bet you tomorrow morning my neck will have thousands of kiss marks, made by none other then, Yuki. Somehow I found myself arching my back the next second. Yuki was pinching my nipples, turning them into hard stubs. My fingers dug into his soft flesh, as I moaned Yuki’s name, begging him to stop torturing me. One of his hands let go of my nipple, but only to quickly replaced by his tongue. I held him tighter against me, giving him squeezed in between, urging him to go on. His free hand slowly led down to my hard member. My eyes flew open and a gasp escaped from my mouth as he wrapped his hand around my member, giving shallow pumps. His head was over top of mine all of a sudden, giving me aggressive kisses. His hand left my manhood, and slowly went to my entrance, tracing the outline of it.

“…nnhh…Yuki don’t tease…..please” I whimpered.

I think he smiled, but I had my eyes closed so I wasn’t sure. He finally slipped one of his fingers into me. What surprised me the most was how the hell did he get it lubed?! I don’t remember see or feeling a bottle of lube, but then again I was drowned in a sea of pleasure. He thrusted his second finger into me, making me cries out. Another couple of minutes went by, and now three fingers were already inside me. I bucked my hips, matching with his speed as he finger-fucked me. Out of no where, his fingers were removed from me. I let out small protest, but quickly remained quiet knowing what was to come.

“Yuki…..give it to me now….please” I whispered to him.

“I don’t know Shuichi. Maybe I should make you wait. After all, you are hurt.” He teased.

“Yuki!!! Don’t do this to me. I want you now!!”

“Well then, tell me what you want me to do.”

“Yuki….”

“No Shuichi, tell me what you want right now.”

“I…want you…..you to….fuck me….right now” I could feel a blush settle upon my face right now.

“Good boy. What Shuichi wants, Shuichi gets.” He pushed himself into my entrance, making my back arch. I wanted to moan out, but my lips caught his lips. He let out a possessive growl as he began to pump into me, harder and deeper by the second. I was in pleasure heaven, and could already come any second. His hand was already on my member, thrusting it according to his thrust. I felt myself come hard, letting out a scream of pure ecstasy. I heard Yuki give out growl as his completion came. I moaned at the feeling of his come shoot into myself.

We felt into a heap on the bed. Both of us panting, trying to regain out normal breathing. I felt him kiss my neck, chin, eyes, forehead, and finally my lips. We shared a sweet simple kiss before falling asleep in each others arms.

We spent most of the next day in bed, just lying in each other’s arms and talking. I was, unfortunately, in too much pain to do much anything else. Besides, I had to kill time until my meeting with Hiro, what better way could I wait? Not just my side, but my lip was still hurting as well. I still couldn’t believe my father had done that, but… I tried to think how I would react in his position. No matter how many times I replayed the scenario, I never once thought of violence as the answer.

Yuki put some ice in a cloth and held it to my temple. Several times an ice cube would slip. At first we found this somewhat annoying. But once one of the cubes hit my chest and I squealed…his face lit up as a brilliant idea struck him. I won’t go into detail; it should suffice to say… I squealed for another hour.

“Yuki,” I said, after a while, “you never did tell me what the strawberries were for.”

He looked at me blankly for a moment, and then grinned widely at the distant memory. “Wait here!” he said, springing out of the bed. He wrapped a sheet (that had….heh-heh…somehow had ended up on the floor…) around his slender waist and left the room. It was an eternity before he returned. He was carrying a large bowl of strawberries, and a knife.

“I’m back!” he said through a mouthful of fruit. He unloaded his supplies and holding a strawberry half-way in his mouth, leaned over my face. I took the cue and bit the other half of it off, our lips meeting in a truly delicious kiss. “Stuff like that,” he said after he swallowed it. “They’re eve more fun in the bathtub, but….well, when you’re feeling better.”

“I’m all right!”

“Wait a week! I’m not letting you out of this bed!”

“Okay! Fine with me!” I smiled contentedly.

He used a remote to flip on the stereo, turning the music down to low. He pulled the fruit bowl into the bed with us and began to feed me them to me, and ate some himself. I had expected something more, but I was sore and I think he knew that. “Yuki…how many people have you been with?”

He looked into my eyes, brushing my hair off my forehead and kissing my face. “None like this.”

“Yuki, please. Please tell me, how many?”

He laid his head on my chest, his arms holding me tightly around the waist. “I told you about…about Tohma. That was my first relationship. After that….Shuichi, I don’t want to hurt you…”

I held him to me. “Yuki, you’ve done nothing but heal my pain since I met you. Please…I have to know everything about you.”

“And you have to tell me everything about you.”

“There’s nothing to tell. You are my first, my only love. Before you, there was nothing. Only an empty place in my soul. You are all that I need, all I want. I will say it again, before you, there was nothing.”

I could feel the moisture of his tears on my skin.

“I love you, Shuichi.”

“And I love you, Yuki.”

“I feel like such a jerk.”

“What? Why, Yuki?”

“You’ve abandoned everything for me.” His shoulders shook as he sobbed. “And what have I done for you? Nothing! I’ve done nothing to prove to you how much I care for you.”

I couldn’t believe what I was hearing. “Yuki…Where are we now? What are we doing? We’re together --- in our bed. What more would I ever need to ask of you?”

“But your brother, your father…. They won’t even acknowledge you as family. It’s my fault…”

“No! No, Yuki. If they won’t love me for whom I am, then they don’t really love me at all. Mother and Hiro didn’t behave that way…Don’t feel so badly. It isn’t your fault. Please don’t be upset--- I can’t bear it!”

He kissed my chest. “You…you’re such an angel, Shuichi.”

He wiped his eyes, then rested his head on my shoulder, his arm wrapped around my waist. “I’m sorry. You wanted to know if there were….others.” He took a deep, shaky breath. “I was afraid to fall in love after Tohma. You must be confused as to what I ever saw in him to being with. He really is an ass, but I didn’t see that then. I was too young for that kind of serious relationship. I was stupid. After we…split up, I was really depressed. I’d never been treated that way by anyone before. I went through several relationships, but they were empty; I never loved any of those people.”
“There were a lot?” I asked cautiously. “Did you…sleep with any of them?”

I felt him swallow. “I—I slept with all of them.”

“Yuki…were there many of them? Were they all men?”

“Five, and…they were all women. I was afraid my one serious relationship had been destined to fail because we’re both guys.”

“Do you still think that way?”

“No.” He snuggled his face against my throat, cuddling up to me even closer. “Please don’t be hurt. It was before we met, remember?”

“I know.”

“They meant nothing to me. It was just sex. It wasn’t love; it wasn’t like this.”

“But, Tohma — that was love?”

He swallowed again. “You’re not making this easy for me…yes; at that time I believed it was love. But Shuichi, I’ve never felt like this way before in all my life. Just thinking about you makes my heart flutter…the sound of your voice, the look in you eyes…the mere sight of you…How can I explain it? Being with you is so much more than sex. Now I know what ‘Love making’ means. Tohma took from me, and took me…but I never got anything back. There was no love. It’s you who made me see that. That’s why I have to have you all to myself, forever. I never want to be without you. I love you so much!”

I held him tightly, reassuring him I felt that same. I’d seen from my brother’s experiences how difficult love could be, but Yuki and I had no serious problems. It was almost too perfect. I figured that losing my family was a small price to pay for the love I had now.

We’d never hidden our feelings form each other, but we’d never been so explicit before, either. It was getting too solemn; I had to make some kind of joke to break the awkward silence. “So…we’re not missing out on anything? With women, I mean.”

He actually laughed, his soft breath tickling my throat. “Nope.”
