Another peaceful day at the Hitana house. Everyone is relaxing on the beach except for Keitaro, who is nowhere to be found. Kaola Su, Naru, and Motoko are all trying to find him, with no avail. Most of the house members are wondering why Naru is trying to find him. Keitaro and Naru have never been the best of friends because of Keitaro’s perverted ways and Naru’s anger. However, even though they do not get along, they both deeply care for each other. They just do not like to show their affection for each other.
Naru: Where is he? ?.?
Motoko: Why do you care? I thought you hated him. Is there something we do not know about?
Motoko stands there with a smirk on her face as she sees the look of nervousness on Naru’s face. Naru shouts at Motoko for saying something so stupid.
Naru: You cannot be serious Motoko…I am just wondering where he is because I wanted to talk to him.
Motoko: I think he should be on the roof where huallually is. So why don’t you hurry up to the roof to “talk to him.”
‘I really wish I could tell Keitaro how I feel, but it would raise controversy in the house,’ Naru thought to herself. ‘No. I have to tell him no matter what the cost. If I don’t, it will just keep torturing me forever.’
Naru slowly walks up to the roof, contemplating on what she would say to Keitaro without him thinking she is drunk. Once she reaches the roof, she sees Keitaro leaning against the pillar, the soft breeze blowing through his hair.
Naru: Keitaro?
Keitaro: Oh…hi Naru. What’s up?
Naru: I was looking for you. I wanted to talk to you about something.
Keitaro: What is wrong Naru?
Naru: Keitaro, before I say anything, I want you to know that I am not drunk.
Keitaro: …ok…
Naru: Keitaro, ever since I moved here I have always been fond of you, but I didn’t want to say anything because I was afraid. All I want you to know is that I have fallen in love with you. Your kindness to all of us has shown me that you are not as bad as I first thought. You are a sweet man and you have matured greatly since we first met.
Keitaro: Naru…I do not know what to say. I really did not expect this, but I have also been hiding my feelings from you too. I have been afraid of you hurting my dignity if I said something so I kept it bottled inside me.
Naru sits next to Keitaro, hugs his waist, and rests her head on his shoulder. Keitaro jumps a bit and startles Naru.
Naru: Keitaro, just enjoy the moment. It does not matter if anyone sees us. Who cares what they think?
The breeze blows silently and lifts Naru’s hair. Keitaro decides to put her hair in a ponytail with the rubber band that he had in his pocket.
Naru: Thanks for all you have done for me Keitaro.
Naru leans in to kiss Keitaro when Keitaro notices that Kaola Su is playing with a flamethrower.
Keitaro: Oh my God! Su! Put that down before you burn down the—
Su accidentally aims the fire at the house, setting it ablaze. The fire quickly spreads through the house, burning everything in its path.
Keitaro: Oh No! We have no way to get down!
Suddenly the roof collapses and they both fall into the abyss of flames.
Naru: Keitaro! Help me! I am stuck under this board.
Keitaro quickly rushes to his new love’s side, removing the board from over her. Unexpectedly though, a flaming board lands on Naru, knocking her unconscious and setting her clothes ablaze.
Keitaro: ‘Oh man! I have to get her out of these clothes or she will burn to death,’ Keitaro quickly thought.
Keitaro strips Naru’s clothes off, ignoring her naked body for now. With his adrenaline rising, he decides that he has no choice to carry Naru and jump the burning stairs. He lands catlike, strangely enough and runs out the front door to meet the others.
Motoko: Whew! Are you ok Keitaro? What happened to Naru?
Keitaro: Answers in this order—yes basically, and she is just unconscious.
Naru: …uhnn…what happened…why am I naked!
Keitaro asks the others to leave as he picks up Naru and explains everything.
Naru: You did all that for me?
Naru glomps Keitaro, for which he is unexpecting, and he falls back onto the sand of the beach. Naru leans in to give Keitaro a kiss and he returns it, deep and delicious.
Ok this is the end of the fic! What did you think? Any problems? Leave a review and I will fix it!
