based fanfiction experiment.

Notes, '06 edition: While
originally written in '03, little has really changed. This fic is something new
for me on two separate planes.  One, it's a
choose-your-own-adventure!  An excellent concept that's hard to master and
we need more. style='mso-spacerun:yes'> So far, I think I've read one I really
enjoyed, and thought, hey, why not give it a go. And with a new fanbase,
to boot!  Secondly, for all the yaoi
fangirls, the one really major possible ending is in fact shounen-ai.  Something that, while I'm somehow comfortable
writing, is just not my forte. I could get all kawaii and crap, like all the cool kids. "LOL I LOVE SHUN-CHAN
ZOMG ^_____^" See? It's easy. style='mso-spacerun:yes'> Man, I am jut strange.

Although, before I get to the
actual fun, I want to say I'm a little disappointed that not a lot of people
have capitalized on such a, to me, great concept.  While Mitsuru/Shinobu
pairings may seem like the obvious choice, what with the blatant butt-sexing,
the Hasukawa/Shun one has its nuances, and, depending on how it's handled, it's
more delightfully mysterious and complicated.  Thus said, I think it's
apparent as to which I favor.

While there are two or three main endings, there will be plenty of smaller
vignette-style conclusions that leave you with that tongue-in-cheek kinda humor
and/or brief and confusing sadness.  So, rules:

01) Read carefully! Take note of the system.

When you see that, follow the
god damn directions.  All chapters will end with two choices because I'm
efficient.  Don't just read it though, you understand?

03) Forty-Two

The Warning: Some progressions
in this story/experiment will lead way to scenes with graphic, sexual content. style='mso-bidi-font-style:normal'>Yes. Score. Seeing as the
characters are who they are, they will most obviously all be dong-chuffers.
Slash. Yaoi. Get it? I decided that
for all intents and purposed, the Iragashi Miya thing didn't play out. Shun's
cuter. I will hug him.

Shun: OW!  My spleen!

Mike: [Nuzzles against him.]
Lookit him squirm! I'm soooo gay. 
Off you people go!

Oh, and I'm going to be
regrettably using some actual Japanese. So gomen
nasai and all that jazz. The simple stuff, of course. "Sorry."
"I'm home." "Ouch! My
butt!" You get it. Because I'm apparently not nerdy enough to use
English words.
