a quiet night

A/N: This is in response to the M/F challenge hopefully this Fanfic will spark off more M/F to be made in the one piece section

It was a quiet night like any other for the Straw Hat Crew, a celebration for no reason, a lot of drinking and entertainment provided by Luffy, Usopp and Chopper. Zoro watched and drank along with Nami as Sanji stared at Nami dreamily as Robin sat back and laughed with everyone else while trying to read her book. Life on the Going Merry was always a party to Robin ever since she joined the Straw Hats everyday to her was an adventure with this crew of such diverse people with different dreams all having one goal in common and a bond that would last forever.
Soon the festivities were over sadly Luffy was no where to be found after it ended and everyone went off to catch some sleep, some however passed out from drinking to much. Robin on the other hand went up to the crow’s nest with a cup of hot coffee and a blanket to keep herself from getting cold and began star gazing at the endless sea of stars her mind began to drift slowly back to her past where all the people she’s ever cared about died all because of her, she then began to think about her new family the Straw Hat crew and what might happen to them if she stays with them. Their luck seemed endless after all the battles they fought together and all the danger they avoided, but luck wouldn’t last forever an eventually the marines would catch up with the Straw Hats all because of her “So this is what it’s like to be loved and to love” she thought to herself as she came to the acknowledgment that if that should ever happen she’d give her life to defend all of them; Sanji, Nami, Zoro, Chopper, Usopp and Luffy. “Luffy” she thought as her mind went off on it’s on subject about him, the childish, hyperactive, optimist, captain and the man with a bounty on his head. If it had not been for him Robin would not of been with the Straw Hats rather she’d be lying in a sand crypt all the way back in Alabasta. He saved her from herself when she had given up hope and he renewed her dreams to find the lost history. After that incident she slowly began to develop a crush on Luffy because of his personality, his innocent, but yet wise personality (wither or not he showed it). She never could ever repay him for everything he had done for her. A tear slowly rolled down her face though as she imagined what would happen once the World Government knew she was with Luffy and the crew “They will all be killed without mercy because of you.” She thought as she soon wiped away the tear.
“Oi where is everyone!” shouted a voice as he came out from the cabin “it’s Luffy” she said quietly as she looked over the crow’s nest to see Luffy looking for everyone. Luffy saw Robin up at the crow’s nest and waved to her “where is everyone Robin?” “sleeping” she responded. Luffy then took a second to admire Robin in the night sky “She’s really pretty” he thought to himself as he admired her, her face, eyes and not to forget her goddess like body. “Luffy you want to keep me company?” asked Robin as Luffy nodded and tried to climb up to the crow’s nest. Robin chuckled as she saw him struggling and then extended her arms out to pick him up “thank you Robin” replied Luffy as he dusted off his pants “Wow it’s really pretty up here.” Said Luffy as he looked up at the stars along with Robin “Yes it is, it’s really quiet that’s why I like it up here” she said as she began to enjoy Luffy’s company “maybe I can learn alittle more about Luffy while he’s up here.” Thought Robin deviously “So Luffy.” She said grinning as she put her hand on his shoulder “yes robin?” asked Luffy a little nervous at Robin touching him “Come on Luffy not the best time to be getting those thoughts again of Robin” he said to himself as Robin looked at him “have you ever kissed a girl before?” Luffy looked in shock then looked down in the floor “No not really..” he said. Robin laughed as she then summoned up the courage to ask “Why don’t I be your first?” Luffy turned bright red as Robin moved in on him and closed her eyes as she puckered up her lips and kissed Luffy slowly and softly. Luffy soon got into it and let his thoughts go out the window and wrapped his arms around Robin to bring her closer as he soon closed his eyes and kissed back with more passion. Robin then snapped back into reality realizing what she had just asked and what she had just done “Oh god.” She said as she backed away from Luffy covering her mouth with her hands in shock “what have I done?” Luffy then noticed the warmth from Robin was gone and opened his eyes to see Robin on the other side of the Crow’s nest “Robin?” asked Luffy innocently “I’m so sorry Luffy, I don’t know what I was doing.” She said as she soon quickly went down the crow’s nest and back into the women’s sleeping quarters “that was weird..” thought Luffy to himself as he scratched his head “But I liked it though” he said smiling as he soon went back to star gazing.
