Lavi X Kanda Yu

Author’s Note:- This is based off a Role Play me and my Lavi did AKA Laura did so thank you for the Idea for this Fan-Fiction I hope I pulled this off ok.

Yu Kanda had just arrived back from a mission, Leaving his report with Koumi Lee he made his way to his room wanting to wash the grime and Akuma Blood from his hair and body.
Lavi was nervous and was pacing along the upper corridor near his room. He had a training with Bookman that day and with his last lot of logs had been too short and messy due to him rushing them and he knew that his punishment was coming tonight and would be harsh, given his warnings of messing up again.
He suddenly ran into a tall hard body of the young Japanese Exorcist and fell back landing hard on his ass.
“Che… Rabbits should keep there eyes open.” Kanda said coldly as he straightened himself out looking down on Lavi.
Lavi stood hastily and rubbed his sore rear “Sorry Yu, I was distracted and didn’t see you.” he said placing on the masked smile and his 49th persona.
“Don’t call me Yu how many times do you have to be told.” Kanda snapped out glaring at Lavi taking note of the fake smile and thinking ‘He always has that damned fake smile on.’ he sighed and made to walk around the Red headed Exorcist who was still smiling up at him.
Lavi stepped in front of Kanda blocking his path and rubbed the back of his head “Where you running off to Yu only just started talking.”
“I am going to shower to get clean” nods down to his dirty uniform “And you started talk not me, Besides aren’t you normally training with the Bookman this time of night, Unless it’s changed.” he replied calmly looking at Lavi curiously as a flash of fear passed through his visible eye and a shudder went down his back before it was effectively masked again.
“Yeah didn’t realize the time, Old Panda hates it when I’m late…Bye Yu.” Lavi said before running down the corridor.
“Don’t call me that.” Kanda yell after him before walking to his room stripping and climbing into his shower thinking over the conversation he just had.

Lavi ran down to the lower floor where normally most of Koumi’s experiments were and to Bookman’s office he paused taking a few deep breaths pulling his persona firmly in place he knocked and entered the office “Hey Panda here for training.” Lavi stated in his usual voice masking the fear he was actually feeling.
“You are late Lavi.” Bookman said coldly dropping the logs Lavi had done previously on the desk “such sloppy work I thought I’d taught you better Lavi.” he stood and pulled a chair away from the desk behind his
Lavi swallowed hard and moved to his small desk sitting down. “Sorry Panda things were hectic and I may of rushed them a little but all the details are correct.”
“Shut up… You left information out bout the exorcists you talk with. Now start writing fresh logs in the ones in front of you and don’t fail me again I’d really hate to resort to old methods.” bookman said harshly and double locked his door silently.
Lavi got to work immediately writing in neat formal handwriting the Bookman prefers, He had only been writing for a few moments when he felt Bookman behind him reading over his shoulder.
“It’s a warm night tonight Lavi, As not to be distracted by the heat remove your Coat. I’ll hang it up for you.”
Lavi knew refusing the man would be pointless so he stood and removed his coat handing it over. Bookman took the chance and reached to Lavi’s thigh removing the Innocence Hammer he uses.
“Why did you take my hammer Panda” Lavi said and couldn’t stop the panic rising to his voice.
“In this office you are my apprentice to train to be a Bookman. Not an Exorcist so get back to work.” He watched Lavi return to work before turning and placing the Hammer and jacket in a draw Locking it. He went into another draw and pulled out his Medical Acupuncture needles.

Bookman remained by the desk watching Lavi work seeing his back and neck tensed with fear “Your tense Lavi Maybe I should ease though muscles.” Lavi froze at those words and barely felt the touch on his neck before he slumped forward onto the desk as Bookman tapped a needle into a pressure point.
He moved Lavi to lay on the small couch in a smaller back room to his office, before he picked up a knife cutting away the rest of Lavi’s clothes leaving him naked.
He retrieved a tray with more needles on and placed it by Lavi he straddled the younger boy removing the needle from his neck not giving him the chance to move or fight back he Tapped 2 needles in each arm causing not only Pain but rendering his arms immobile.
Lavi screamed out and bucked trying to get away but Bookman merely tapped needles into his thighs causing the red head to scream out again tears rolling down his cheeks.
“This method is affective don’t you think Lavi, Your immobile so listening, You can’t pass out and I can cause Pain without leaving lasting damage so you can return to work when I finished training you.”
Lavi nodded and closed his eye as Bookman ran his hand down Lavi’s chest, “Such a young body Lavi, I’m trying to help you and you repay me by lying, and leaving sloppy work.”
Lavi cringed at that knowing Bookman often enjoy taking him cause he said paying for lay was not something Bookman should do

*Mean while Upstairs*

Kanda had finished showering and changed and walked down to Koumi lee’s office entering without knocking merely glancing who was in the room before looking at Koumi “What do you know of Lavi’s past and training.”
Koumi Lee raised his eye and sat back in his seat “Lavi was found on the street at a young age, Bookman found him and took him in. In return for saving his life Lavi was trained to take over as a bookman after well Bookman passes.”
Kanda processed the information and continued his cold stare as he continued with his questioning “Was he Abused in any way or form.”
Pausing surprised by the form of questioning from the normally cold and rude Kanda he answered honestly
“When he arrived a medical was given, he had bruises and old injuries however when questioned he replied they were from accidents as he was rather clumsy and ran into things a lot.”
Kanda went from a cold stare to outright glaring at his supervisor “And you believed that… Where does Bookman train Lavi”
“No we didn’t but we can’t force people to talk You of all people should know that and why do you need to know.” Koumi asked looking around at some other people in the room who were listening but pretending to work far enough away from the irate Japanese man.
“Because when I reminded Lavi he had training with the Bookman he was scared and shivered in fear. Most would not do that when going for training unless seriously abused by the said person training them” Kanda reeled out his face showing no emotion.

Koumi looked at him and sighed “Fine but I’ll come with you and we’ll go together ok.”
“Che…” Kanda turned and walked to door waiting for Koumi to show him the way.

*Back In Bookman’s Office*

Lavi screamed and panted as Bookman had added 4 more needles leaving the 8 in and pulling back climbing off him he moved by Lavi’s head removing the headband he wore and eye patch, Lavi kept his right eye closed
“I wish you wouldn’t make me do these things Lavi but you have to learn somehow.” He stroked the boys tears away before looking up as the Golem he used fluttered by the door meaning someone was coming down the corridor… “Guess we’re taking a break. Be good.” He slapped Lavi and adjusted himself annoyed at the interruption before going to the main office closing the door to the back room checking his office he unlocked his door and sat picking up the logs Lavi had started earlier.

Kanda followed Koumi down to lower floor remembering the way as they came to Bookman’s door Koumi knocked and waited hearing a “Come in” From Bookman
They entered and Kanda immediately paced around the office slowly taking everything in
“What can I do for you Koumi Lee-San.” Bookman said eyeing up Kanda as he was the only exorcist they barely had information on.
“We came to check up on a few things and Kanda wished to come.” Koumi Lee said staying by the door
“Where’s Lavi for starters” Kanda said glaring at the old Bookman
Bookman stared back not fazed by the glare “He is not here as you can clearly see.”
Kanda grabbed Bookman by his shirt and slammed him hard into the bookcase “Don’t think I don’t see through the façade you and Lavi put on… He is exorcist so when an exorcist shows fear we’ll look into it”
Bookman struggled but Kanda was a lot stronger Koumi moved further into the room but didn’t move to stop him

Lavi had heard to crash and looked to the door keeping his right eye closed out of habit. ‘What’s going on out there.’ He tried to move but couldn’t the pain was intense.

“Where is Lavi, I know he came down here tonight. He trains with you most nights same time.” Kanda said slamming him back against the bookcase again
grunting Bookman looked to Kanda ‘He observes Lavi and he takes in all details… He’d make great Bookman with those skills’ … “I told you he isn’t here now”
Kanda punched the man dropping him to the floor and walked to the desk “These are half written and smudged something happened as he wrote these.” He withdrew Mugen and pointed it at Bookman’s chest as he tried to stand. “Don’t mess with me.”

Lavi perked up at the voices he heard. ‘Bookman will surely kill me for this’ … he took a deep breath “Yu…” He coughed as he throat was dry from the screaming
Bookman scowled as Lavi shouted and watched and Kanda turned he picked Bookman up shoving him hard to Koumi and the waiting security…
As the team secured Bookman, Kanda felt along the wall finding the almost hidden door entering the back room he saw Lavi naked on the old sofa and knelt by his side… “Che… I’ll have to remove needles before can cover you”
Lavi nodded glad to see Yu there, he whimpered as Kanda removed the needles slowly before standing and removing his own jacket and helping him into it.
Koumi stood by the door trying to give privacy as Kanda covered Lavi. “Lavi what happened and where are your things.”
Lavi sighed “I can’t tell you and I don’t know my trousers and T-Shirt are cut up he removed my jacket and innocence in main room.”
Kanda was rubbing his arms and legs alternatively as he tried to help getting feeling back into them he was looking down and spotting the blindfold he picked it up
“This yours…” he held it out Lavi took it but had trouble replacing it over his eye so Kanda did it for him
“Thanks Yu…” Lavi said trying to stop the tear that were forming in his eyes.
“Che its fine rabbit… stay here” Kanda left the back room, Koumi was having trouble finding the key to the desk.
Kanda pushed him aside and attacked the desk and once in pieces lifted Lavi coat and hammer “I’m taking him to rest get Bookman out here before I finish or I’ll give him our side or not” Kanda replied

Going back to Lavi laying his coat and Hammer over his legs before picking him up bridal style carrying up the stairs ignoring the looks from finders and other exorcist… Kanda paused not remembering which was Lavi’s room so carrying him to his, He looked down seeing Lavi had passed out.
He laid him gently on his bed and pulled out some clean boxers dressing him and removing his coat and using antiseptic wash over each needle entry mark before covering him over Allowing him to sleep… he sat on floor and waited watching the small hourglass on a shelf.

Lavi awoke as the sunlight hit his face, He sat upright looking around the room panicked he weren’t sure where he was.
He tried to remember what happened after he went into Bookman’s office ‘Yu, I heard his voice I called to him.’
Lavi looked around the room it was empty compared to most bedrooms only had a Bed, Dresser and small desk in…and a shelf holding only an hourglass with a flower.. A lotus flower in. Continuing looking around he saw a sword ‘Mugen… that’s Yu’s’ he looked at foot of the bed and noticed Kanda sitting on the floor his head was down against his chest hair curtaining his face, One knee bent and an arm on it supporting his upper body other leg straight on the floor.
Lavi moved closer slowly and reached a hand out laying it on Kanda’s shoulder and whispered almost “Yu…”
Kanda jumped and grabbed the wrist instinctively lifting his head looking to Lavi who froze “It’s just me Yu.” he said defensively.
Kanda seemed to take a minute before releasing his wrist. “Sorry… I don’t wake well especially if touched.” He stood and stretched a few bone creaking and popping into place from the awkward position he had slept in.
“I’ll keep that in mind Yu.” he said a smile on his face from his persona
“Don’t call me Yu you damned Rabbit” Kanda said growling “And knock that smile off I hate fake smiles.”
Lavi paused at that and looked to him sighing “Thanks Yu Kanda for saving me… What happened to him?”
“I don’t know after I heard you call out I handed him to Koumi Lee and the security team they would of stripped him and gave him prisoner wear and drugged him into telling the truth, I brought you up here and forgot your room so cleaned you up dressed you in my shorts and left you to sleep.” Kanda said sitting on the small desk
Lavi nodded and looked to him “Why didn’t you sleep on the bed I mean we’re both slim build”
“Because I was raised to share bed with lover or … Che does it matter it’s morning now.” He walked to his drawer and threw a shirt at Lavi “Wear that till you get to your room yours were cut up and as you can see I’m wearing my jacket now.”
Lavi looked at the shirt and grinned as he put it on “Thanks Yu, You do have a heart… I told people you were human.”
Kanda growled at that and grabbed Mugen, Lavi yelped and jumped from the bed “I’m sorry bye…” opens door and running to his own room, Kanda sighed and grabbed clean things going for a shower.

Kanda had avoided everyone after his shower he skipped going to the lunch hall during the busy times and took his food outside to the training area where he spent most of the day.
He rested after eating and looked up to the clear blue sky before standing and stripping his uniform jacket and the dark blue shirt he wore underneath leaving him standing in his trousers his hair tied up in his usual pony tail his chest bare, He pick up Mugen unsheathing it and stepping into the large clearing.
He closed his eyes taking a deep breath before starting his training.

Lavi slept when he got to his own room before waking late afternoon with his stomach rumbling, He grudgingly got up and dressed fully leaving Kanda’s shirt on he left his room and made his way down to lunch hall… He was eating as Koumi Lee came over to his table
“Can you come to my office after you’ve finished eating please Lavi.” He said a gentle smile on his face, Lavi merely nodded and stood leaving his food and placing his fake persona on his face and following Koumi out the hall
“Not in trouble am I, cause I’ll pay for the ruined uniform” he said casually as Koumi led him into the office
“Not at all just need to check how you are and ask you few questions.” He walked to the desk and picked up a report “This is the confession we got from Bookman we need you to read it and confirm it as the truth then he can be punished.”
Lavi tensed slightly but left his persona on smiling “Sure Koumi” he grabbed the file and opened it reading he grew pale as he read everything… After he placed the file down “Everything’s true… who …knows.”
“Just me and Medic that was in the room, It will pretty much remain that way his charges are abuse and there are many forms of it”
Lavi nodded and stood “Thanks if that’s all I’d like to go and rest.” Koumi nodded and watched as Lavi left his office .

Lavi made his way up stairs and hid away in his bathroom showering till the water had run cold, He shivered and got out drying off looking to the high window in the bathroom ‘Dark already.’ he sighed and pulled on some boxers and long shirt as he climbed into bed.

*Meanwhile*

Kanda was pushing his body to the limit during training and paused panting… he grabbed his things and walked inside ignoring Lena Lee who called him, He quickened his pace and hid in his room showering before climbing into bed with only his boxers on.

Lavi was in a restless sleep, He was tossing and turning as he dreamt of the various punishments Bookman had given him over the years he suddenly jumped awake panting. ‘Not had nightmare in a while.’ he ran his hand through his red hair and checked the time on the small alarm clock he was given when he joined the order.
‘Damn to early to get up and to late for anyone to be awake.’ he thought as he swung his legs over the bed ‘Unless … I pray he doesn’t sleep with weapon.’ he smiled weakly and stood opening the door to his room glancing up and down the hall to make sure it was clear before moving quietly down the hall pausing in front of the door ‘Please be in a good mood’ he thought and knocked lightly twice opening the door.

Kanda opened his eyes “Better be good reason you’re here Rabbit I was nearly asleep.”
“Is one of your reasons for sharing a bed cause you personal Rabbit had a nightmare and really doesn’t want to be alone is it…” Lavi said in a hopeful and small voice.
Kanda sighed and lifted his quilt “Talk once before I wake up on my own I will kill you.”
Lavi closed door and climbed in beside Kanda feeling his bare chest… ignoring it he curled on his side against him and he felt the blanket lower around him.
Kanda sighed again as Lavi hugged his side but tiredness won over and he fell to sleep his hand unconsciously stroking Lavi’s hair in a soothing manner.
Lavi was soothed by the hand in his hair and listened to Kanda’s breathing slowing to signalling he’d fallen asleep, He smiled sleepily and followed into sleep still curled into Kanda’s side.

*Week Later *

Kanda awoke and looked down at Lavi ‘He’s been climbing into my bed for the past week’ he thought realizing to himself that he didn’t mind the red head climbing into his bed. ‘I sleep better with him here then when I’m alone’ he continued to watch the red head sleep content in the silence which would be broken as soon as Lavi wakes up.
Kanda let a small smile slip onto his face as he watched Lavi and contemplated the new found feelings for the red head. ‘He’s always managed to slip past the walls I build… He’s straight though and even if he weren’t after what Bookman has done over the years he’ll never have that sort of trust again.’ Kanda remembered the conversation with both Koumi Lee and Lavi about the full extent of Bookman’s punishments. He was brought from his thoughts by Lavi starting to stir.
Lavi yawned and stretched before opening his eyes “Morning Yu… Sleep well” a small honest smile on his face.
“As fine as I can with a Rabbit in my bed.” Kanda smiled back before masking it and pushing Lavi to sit and moving off the bed.
Lavi noticed the smile before it was masked and pouted cutely “Awww but Yu, If you truly minded you’d kick me out and I’m good on a night I don’t talk and I don’t wake you up.”
Kanda sighed and shook his head knowing that Lavi was right but didn’t voice that. “I’m getting ready for the day don’t touch my things” he walked into the bathroom with his uniform
‘He didn’t kick me out like he normally does.’ Lavi thought and respected Kanda’s wishes, He made the bed and sat on it waiting.

Kanda come out short time after and looked to the bed Lavi was still there and his bed was made. “Che didn’t know rabbits made bed’s judging from the last time I saw your room”
“Well I know how you like order and it’s all I could do while you were changing.” Lavi said standing and rubbing his head.
Kanda strapped Mugen to his back and held the door open for Lavi, Who stood and walked out the room.
They made they’re way down to the lunch hall for breakfast, Kanda ignored the looks they were getting from finders as they entered together and sat at the same table.
Lena Lee and Koumi Lee had just entered the hall together and looked to the table, Lena Lee smiled and waved to the pair Kanda nodded and Lavi waved back happily before eating while Koumi Lee looked curiously at the pair “Lena Lee-Chan when did Kanda start letting Lavi eat with him” He asked
“Not sure Nii-San but yesterday Lavi jumped on his back and Kanda didn’t withdraw Mugen until after a few minutes was after answering his question.” She replied before going to get her breakfast. Koumi shrugged and joined his sister for breakfast.
Kanda finished his breakfast and cup of tea and stood “I’m going training rabbit.” was all he said before he walked out leaving Lavi to staring at his own empty plate…
“Guess I’ll go to the library.” Lavi said to himself before leaving the hall and making his way there.


*Few Hours Later*

Lavi had gotten bored in the library so he placed the books away he had been reading and made his way down the corridors ‘wonder if Kanda’s still training… I feel safe with him.’ he sighed heavily ‘I’m falling for him.’ he thought pausing at the window he looked over the training grounds Kanda uses and smiled ‘Maybe it’s time to find a little more out about Yu and see if I have a chance.’ Lavi grinned and nodded in his choice and heading downstairs to the training area.

Kanda was wearing only his trousers, his shirt and jacket were folded under a nearby tree along with a towel he brought with him.
He had been training for a few hours now and the last hour of it he had been training with Mugen at level 2 it caused Mugen to appear to have 2 blades with a slight glow from the illusion of it… He was lost in his training and didn’t notice Lavi sitting under the tree his clothes were, He trained for 15 more minutes before he paused panting in exhaustion and deactivated Mugen.
Lavi watched as Kanda stopped and watched him walk over picking up his towel rubbing himself down and laying towel round his shoulders before Kanda acknowledged him “What do you want Rabbit…”
“Just a chat I thought it safer to wait till the sword was away.” he smiled and winked rubbing the back of his head.
“Che…” was all he got in reply before Kanda laid the towel and his jacket in the grass and laid down arms under his head for support.
“Ok I’ll take the no threat as a go ahead Lavi-kun ask away” he said in his happy fake voice.
Kanda reached for Mugen “Talk in that fake voice I’ll slice you across chest see if you can keep it up” he said pointing the unsheathed Mugen to Lavi’s chest.
Lavi laughed nervously and sighed “Ok normal voice no fake happy voice.” he said seriously before laying hand gently on Mugen.
“Che… It’ll do” Kanda replied putting Mugen away and closed his eyes as placed arms under his head again
“Well I know nothing about you, like where did you live before the order? Or how long have you been here? Hobbies? Lovers? What you draw in that book you hide?” he said watching Kanda for a response.
Kanda visibly tensed before relaxing he didn’t move or open his eyes “Bookman junior through and through”
Lavi smiled a little knowing he was right “Maybe but you take in as much details as me… and this is for me only I won’t be writing any of it down, It’s just you know most of my life when you saved me.”
Kanda sighed and remained still thinking for a few silent minutes. “I’m Japanese so should answer where I was before even Allen can figure that out, I came here when I was 12, I don’t have hobbies unless you count been an exorcist one and drawing I guess. I don’t have a Lover as you’ve put it nor have I ever had one, Been in the order doesn’t make it easy to date. And finally I draw various things Mainly to clear my head of thoughts for a brief period.” he answered each of Lavi’s questions sighing as he finished.
‘Damn should of specified them more… wonder if he’ll answer more.’ Lavi thought before tilting head as Kanda seemed to be asleep as his breathing was even and calm he reached to touch him.
“Haven’t you learnt anything when you touch me in a relaxed state.” Kanda said not even opening his eyes or moving, Lavi pulled his hand back.
“Thought you’d fallen asleep” he said lamely.
“Thought you were asking me questions…Besides wouldn’t sleep out here unless I passed out.” Kanda replied easily.
Lavi smiled and nodded sitting back “Ok… Where and When did you get that tattoo? If you had a lover what gender? And do you really hate everyone around you?” he choose to ask next.
“I was given it before I came to the order and must’ve been when I was 9...no 10 years old, If I decided to date or take on a lover it would have to be a Male and I never said I hated everyone… I choose to keep them distant from myself doesn’t mean I hate them.” Kanda said now curious by Lavi’s choice of questions ‘He keeps slipping in questions about lovers…my past I understand by that.’ he thought not changing his expression his eyes still closed breathing even.
Lavi smiled as he thought to himself before asking “You never dated does that mean… um never mind. Why did you get a Tattoo that young?”
“I didn’t choose to get it… it was forced on me during my training. And yes no dating means I’m a Virgin” Kanda said before adding under his breath “The one thing they let me keep.”
Lavi looked shocked for a moment “What training? What sort of person lets a child get a tattoo?” he ignored the other statement for now.
“I do not wish to discuss that with you and same for second question… your turn” Kanda said opening his eyes turning on his side facing Lavi “Why all the questions? More importantly about my preferences?”
Lavi blushed as Kanda turned looking at him curiosity and something else in his eyes. “I was curious and wanted to judge your feelings … I mean thoughts out”
Kanda tilted his head cat like “Curiosity killed the cat and my feelings for who?”
Lavi gulped nervous he’d lose what friendship Kanda had given him “Well me if you must know.”
Kanda smiled a smirk hidden under it as he laid back onto his back and put arms under his head once more eyes closing “You interest me, You’re the only one able to get close to me. I feel the need to protect you and I miss the contact when your not there. More importantly I wait for you to open my door in the middle of the night to climb in my bed, And it makes me happy that you trust me in that way and no one else… And your quite attractive for a rabbit.” Kanda finished off.
Lavi was shocked into silence for a moment a silly grin spread across his face he crawled to Kanda and looked down at him “Attractive hmm” he said smirking.
“Che of course that’s all you focus on.” Kanda said not bothering to open his eyes “So Lavi now you know my feelings what you going to do about it.”
“This” was all he said before straddling Kanda’s waist and leaning down hands either side of Kanda’s head and kissing him fully on the lips… “Mmh” he hummed into the kiss.
Kanda finally moved he wrapped his arms around Lavi’s neck and held him there and deepened the kiss licking Lavi’s bottom lip, Who opened his mouth and allowed Kanda’s tongue entrance to his mouth.
Soon the pair had to pull apart for breath and Kanda had a small blush covering his cheeks “We should take this somewhere more private if we are continuing” He said his arousal felt beneath his trousers.
Lavi sat up little feeling Kanda’s arousal matching his own, He nodded “I want more yes” He climbed off Kanda and offered his hand to Kanda who took it and stood up, He bent grabbing his towel shirt and jacket and clipping Mugen to his waist before grabbing Lavi’s hand and walking inside.

Ignoring everyone they made there way upstairs Kanda led them to his room and laid his things over the small desk, Lavi panted with arousal and removed his own jacket and hammer… Kanda turned and walked to him pulling Lavi flush against him and kissing him again. “How far can we go I won’t rush you.” Kanda said softly.
“Um … Well.” Lavi paused.
“I don’t mind been bottom if helps.” Kanda said moving his kisses to Lavi’s neck nibbling and sucking gently
Lavi couldn’t hold in the groan at that and nodded “Ok… ok” Kanda lifted Lavi’s shirt leaving him topless and started nibbling at his neck again sucking to leave a visible mark there.
Kanda stroked his hips and undid Lavi’s belt and trousers, They were pushed down and he was moved to the bed.
Kanda stripped his own trousers and stood before Lavi naked. “I don’t know what to do now” he said embarrassedly.
Lavi smiled kindly and patted the bed, Kanda climbed on and laid down… Lavi kissed him deeply before kissing slowly down his neck Nibbling and sucking giving Kanda a mark like was on his own neck.
