It was mid afternoon in Odaiba, and at the stadium, the area around it was filled with tents and stages, while the sense of celebration was in the air.

And in some stands and tents, Hyperion civilians were showing off tech and trading with people who stopped by.

This celebration was to mark the ten-year anniversary of the victory over the Hyperion invasion, as well as the freedom of those Hyperion who rebelled against their former masters.

Heroes and civilians from all over were visiting Odaiba for the celebration, with the main attraction for the night being a concert, featuring the heroine idol Nene Amano, also known as Songbird, alongside Hyperion heroine and rising idol herself, Eri, also known as Starguard.

Walking down a row of stands was a small group of individuals, dressed in their civilian clothing, Yolei Inoue, Rika Nonaka and Zoe Orimoto, better known as Shuriken, Vixen and Wind Angel, who were talking amongst themselves, pointing out the sights, while Mimi Tachikawa, also known as the heroine Lilly, was walking very close to her best male friend and also her secret crush, Izzy Izumi, known as the hero, Hightech.

Next to them, Sora Takenouchi, also known as Firebird, had her arms wrapped around the arm of her boyfriend, Tai Kamiya, known to a few as the hero, Dragonheart, while next to them was Tai’s younger sister, Kari Kamiya, the feisty feline heroine, Electric Cat, who had one arm around a giant stuffed bear that was won for her, while her other arm was around the arm of her boyfriend, Davis Motomiya, secretly known to a select few as the masked villain, Painz.

Finally, next to them was the newest and youngest member of their group, a sixteen-year-old girl with lightly tanned skin, dark purple hair that went down her back.

She had dark purple eyes and was wearing a plain pink T-shirt and jeans.

Suzie Wong, despite her age, was considered the world’s most powerful psychic.

As she learned to control her powers, she ended up helping the girls when members of the military villain group known as Dark Heart, who were looking for her to exploit her powers for themselves, cornered them, winding up with her as an honorary member of the group, helping fight crime and keeping her powers in check.

As the groups continued to walk, Kari looked up at Davis with a worried look.

“Davis, are you sure you’re alright being here? We could go home if you want.” She said, for Kari knew this day was not a good one for Davis.

She had been with him during the invasion, and remembered will that it was the day both his parents had died, to which Kari didn’t know how being at the celebration, let alone being around so many Hyperion, would affect him.

However, Davis just gave a reassuring smile to Kari and replied in a tone full of care and honestly. “I’m alright.”

“We’re here to celebrate remember?” He then pointed out.

Kari could not help but get a warm feeling as her love smiled at her; he had gone through so much and asked for so little.

‘That’s it, no more stalling. I’m telling him now,’ Kari thought as she pulled on Davis’ arm lightly stopping him.

“Davis, I need to tell you something ” She started to say, not caring what her friends, her brother or the world thought, she wanted to tell Davis the truth.

‘She’s going to tell him about our hero lives!’ Suzie mentally screamed into the other hero and heroines’ minds, causing their eyes to widen, before Tai and Sora started to intervene.

“Hey let’s go try some of the games.” Tai suddenly called as he put his arm on Kari’s shoulder, giving her a stern look.

“Or try some of the food.” Sora added in a friendly tone, trying to take everyone’s attention off of their conversation.

“No, no more, he has a right to know.” Kari retorted through gritted teeth, as an angered glare was directed at them.

“We talked about this.” Tai said, getting annoyed that they were at this again, while Kari felt just as irritated and was about to say what was on her mind.

But before anything else could be said, Davis nonchalantly asked. “Is this about you guys being super heroes?”

Davis kept a straight face as he laughed on the inside, while the rest of the group stared at him with wide eyes and gaping mouths.

“How..?” Yolei tried to ask.

“When...?” Sora added.

“How did you know?” Kari managed to asked, bewildered that Davis already knew they were super heroes.

‘I had several of you as my brainwashed slaves for a while, and one of you is still under my employ, as the lovely Katastrophe.’ Davis thought in his head, before giving the answer he rehearsed for so long.

“Really? I’ve known most of you for years.” He replied, before he pointed to Kari, Sora, and Mimi and asked. “Did you really think just covering your eyes like that would keep me from noticing?”

This response caused the three to blush, before he pointed to Yolei and Zoe, “The same with you two, covering your mouth might fool others, but not someone who knows you well enough.”

The two blushed at this response, before he pointed to Rika and Tai, where the maroon haired boy commented. “You two are better at it, but I can recognize your voices a mile away.”

Rika just blushed at that, while Tai palmed his face, embarrassed, before Davis continued, faced Izzy and asked. “And Izzy, the drones, the control matrix you got for that suit, we did talk about them a few years back, remember?”

Izzy face palmed, remembering that they did indeed have a conversation about that, as the rest of them realized that someone of Davis’ intellect would probably have figured out who they were.

“Why didn’t you say anything?” Tai questioned, shocked since the maroon haired boy had never mentioned anything before.

“I figured it was a serious secret and you guys would tell me when you felt I was ready to know.” Davis responded.

Worried, Tai asked. “Does anyone else know?”

‘Just my allies.’ Davis thought, but shook his head.

“I wanted to tell you, but they kept telling me no, that you would be safer that way.” Kari said as she pointed to Tai and Sora, making the pair sweatdrop.

‘Way to throw us under the bus.’ Sora and Tai thought, causing Davis to lightly chuckle, stopping when he noticed Suzie staring intently at him.

“Something up?” Davis asked, earning a nod, before Suzie said in reply. “I can’t see into his head.”

Everyone’s eyes widened at this, while Davis started to worry, not wanting to let them know who he really was, before Izzy got a thoughtful look.

“Hey Davis, isn’t you sister a psychic?” Izzy questioned.

“Estranged sister, and yes.” Davis replied, knowing where Izzy was going with his line of thinking and was grateful for it.

“Then you must have the Para Gene.” Izzy said, causing the others to look at him inquisitively, making Izzy then explain. “It’s a gene that, though rare, shows up in sibling of psychics that makes them immune to mental intrusions or mind manipulations. Basically if he was in a room full of people and they all get mass brainwashed, he’d be the only one not affected.”

With the theory of Davis’ mind being unable to be read, the intercoms began to broadcast that the main event would happen in a few hours, making Davis say. “Since you guys had promised to help Nene and Eri with the show, and you need to meet up with your other teammate Azumi, why don’t you go on ahead? I’ll look after Suzie.”

Everyone nodded at that, before Tai nodded and said. “Alright Davis, we’ll see you at the show.”

With that, the group headed out, with Kari giving Davis a quick kiss, but still had her worried look on her face, where she told him in a caring tone. “We’ll talk later.”

Watching Kari kiss Davis, just before heading off with her friends, Suzie gave him an annoyed look with a light blush on her face, one for being alone with a cute guy, the other for the idea of being treated as a little kid.

“I can look after myself you know.” She said in an annoyed tone.

“How about you stick with me and I get you ice cream?” Davis offered with a smirk.

“Deal!” Suzie all but screamed, quickly putting her hands over her mouth and blushing at how childish she sounded, before following Davis to the ice cream stand, realizing that she still had a little more growing up to do.

----A few minutes later----

As the two sat on a bench, eating their ice cream, with Suzie occasionally stealing glances at Davis, blushing at how cute he was, Davis smirked, before he spoke.

“Sorry if being around me is uncomfortable. It must be hard after being so used to seeing into people’s minds to not be able to.” He said.

“Actually, it’s kind of a relief.” Suzie admitted, before telling him. “It’s nice to actually get to know someone, rather than get it all at once.”

However, her expression then turned solemn as she then said. “Kari was really worried about you.”

“I can understand, though her worries are misplaced.” Davis replied, secretly happy that his measures to protect Kari’s Katastrophe persona from the young psychic seemed to work, causing Suzie to look up at him inquisitively, before he decided to explain what happened.

“In the last day of the invasion, a lot of civilians were inside of shelters, protected by the military. Kari and I were in one together, along with my parents, however, a politician who was in a more secure facility needed more protection and ordered our shelter’s guard to abandon us to reinforce him.” Davis explained, noticing the shock look on Suzie’s face.

“We were defenceless as a Hyperion energy weapon was used on us. Kari and I survived, but everyone else didn’t, including my parents.” Davis finished, realizing that the blast must have been what gave Kari her powers, along with his own.

“What happened to that politician?” Suzie asked, hoping he got what he deserved.

“He made the media think he played a huge role in the victory and was eventually elected mayor.” Davis said in reply, causing Suzie’s eyes to widen at that.

“I don’t blame Hyperion for what happened, or the soldiers that left, they were following orders. What does bother me is after everything that happened, after nearly being destroyed, the world just carried on just as it was. Governments remained the same, corrupt politicians and leader took over and the heroes of the world carried on, protecting the corruption even if they don’t realize or care for it. The next time we get invaded like that, I don’t know if our world will survive. I hope that one day the world will change though, when someone strong enough to lead it can rise up and protect this world better. And on that day I hope the world makes the right choice.” Davis told Suzie, before thinking. ‘Or I’ll make it for them.’

Davis then looked at Suzie, who was listening to him intently, before he said. “I know you want to be a hero like them, but consider what worth protecting and what is worth changing. The world is not all black and white and I see you playing a big role in our future.”

“Thank you.” Suzie said in reply, blushing a little, before they heard the announcement that the show was about to begin.

“Time to go meet the others.” Davis said in a more cheerful tone as the two got up and headed into the stadium, followed closely by Suzie, but not before getting her another ice cream.

----Half an hour later----

The stadium was crowded, to which Nene, alongside Eri, who was dressed in a pink tank top and matching shorts, were dancing and singing on the large stage.

Davis was in the crowd with Kari’s arm wrapped around his, while the rest of the gang was dancing and cheering.

On one side Davis saw Nene’s teammates, Angie and Mizuki, also known as Thunderstrike and Paladrina, cheering for their friend, along with the Atlantean Princess Rachel Acquaguerriero.

On another part Davis saw his mole in the Odaiba PD, STAR Corps member and heroine, Yoshi Fujieda, better known as Quickshot, along with her partners Miki Kurosaki and Megumi Shirakawa, Shadow Walker and Starlight, who, while enjoying the show, were on duty, watching over the crowd.

As he continued to survey the stadium, Davis noticed a few photographers and news casters filming the event; before he gained a slight smirk seeing a few wearing rings on their fingers that had a black top with a red V engraving on it, showing that they were agents of Dark Heart.

The next moment, however, there was a big flash of light and a loud booming sound above the stadium, causing everyone to look up and see a ship above the city.

While circular in shape, the ship was almost, if not larger than the stadium, had a crude look to it and had a large red eye on the bottom.

While not in Hyperion design, most people began to panic at the sight of the ship, with most of Hyperion seemed to be even more frightened, as though they recognized the ship.

“Oh no, why is he here?” Eri questioned with a fearful voice, before Nene grabbed her hand and headed off, getting ready to help fight the new threat.

As Tai, Izzy, and the girls got ready to fight the new threat, Davis just stared up at the ship with a neutral look, interested to see what would happen as a lone figure descended from the ship.

The figure was tall, at least fifteen feet in height, and was clad in a full silver suit, with red on his boots and claw-like fingers.

Two large pairs of metallic spikes came out of his back, with purple energy coursing between them like wings.

In between his legs, as well as on his knees, hands, and shoulders were large red eyes, while another large eye was on his chest with eight smaller ones around it.

His helmet had three horns on it, with a third red eye on his forehead, while a long silver cape draped around his back.

As the crowd watched the figure descend, many began to panic and scream as beams of light shot down from the ship, before hundreds of figures moved out of them.

They were at least twelve feet tall, had long arms with one claw like and the other having a plasma weapon built into it. Six tentacles came out of their backs, while, similar to the first figure, all had helmets that had two horns coming out on top with one eye yellow and the other purple.

As the creatures began to surround the stadium, the ship opened up and hundreds of small circular drones with red eyes and four spikes began to fly out of it.

Having gotten into their hero and heroine outfits while the crowd was distracted, everyone moved to protect the civilians, with Eri, Nene, Tai, Sora, Izzy, Zoe, Rachel, and Rika flying up towards the large figure, just before the Hyperion heroine yelled in anger. “Leave here Charis, you are not welcome!”

“This world belongs to me now, Hyperion whelp. Submit and bow to me.” Charis said, his voice cold and full of malice.

“Like Hell!” Tai snapped back, then asked. “How about you surrender and we won’t kick your ass?”

“Then you will learn your place by serving me.” Charis said in reply, before all the red eyes on his body began to glow, beams of red energy shot out, knocking Tai and Izzy back, while the others dodged as the fighting below began.

“Watch out for the Vira!” One Hyperion civilian called in warning as the tentacle creatures began to fire their weapons at the crowd, just before Rika flew down and formed a barrier between the blasts and the civilians, to which the PD began to fire back at the aliens.

And aiding in the fight, Yolei and Azumi, along with Angie, Yoshi, and her STAR Corp teammates engaged the enemy, with Angie punching some of the Vira at super speed, while Azumi and Yolei used their weapons to hack down their enemies, while Mimi used her vines to make walls to protect people while grabbing the aliens.

----Meanwhile----

Above, Izzy, Zoe, Rachel, and Mizuki were fighting the drones, while as Tai, Sora, Nene, and Eri attacked Charis, who seemed to brush off their attacks like it was nothing, before grabbing Eri by the hand and throwing her down to the ground as though it was nothing.

And as the fighting continued, Davis was in one of the stadium exits, watching the fight as he communicated with his AI, V.E.E.

“I have contacted our allies, they will meet you at the base.” V.E.E. said through the intercom, earning a confirmed nod from his creator.

But before Davis could reply, Kari landed right in front of him, dressed in her Electric Cat outfit with her back to him, making Davis smile slyly as he stared at her butt, which she failed to notice.

“Stay there, I promise I’ll protect you.” Kari instructed as she hit a charging Vira with and electric punch.

However, before Davis could reply, Charis’ voice boomed over the stadium.

“Enough! You will all submit!” He called, just as his red eye began to glow, before a shockwave of red energy enveloped the stadium.

And when it passed, most of the people in the stadium, including the heroes and heroines, had blank looks on their faces; their eyes were glazed over, before they chanted in distant tones. “All hail Lord Charis.”

Davis, who was among the unaffected, quickly looked to his side, seeing Kari entranced just like the others, chanting alongside the others who had fallen under the alien’s mind control.

But not letting Kari become a puppet, Davis acted quickly and whispered into her ear. “Shadow in the Light.”

Hearing the trigger, Kari’s eyes blinked as they returned to normal and her Katastrophe persona kicked in, making her looking around in confusion, before looking at Davis. Confused, Katastrophe asked. “Master, what’s happening?”

“I’ll explain later. For now we need to get out of here.” Davis said in reply, causing Kari to nod as they quickly headed for the exit, while Charis’ brainwashed slaves began to round up the remaining heroes, cops, and civilians, making sure all would serve their new ruler.

----Half an hour later----

Davis, dressed in his Painz outfit, entered his control room with Kari, who was still in her Electric Cat outfit.

Inside the room, Davis’ assistants, Jeri Katsu, also known as the dark mystic, Psychonis, and his sister Jun, also known as the villainess Mesmera, were standing next to Davis’ best friend, the CEO of Ichijouji Corps, Ken Ichijouji, on one side of the room with several V-bots, while on the other side was the renegade elemental warrior of fire Takuya Kanbara, also known as the Firelord, was standing talking with some of his disciples, including the evil warrior of earth, Quake.

On the far side of the room, Takato Matsuki, also known as the Shadowlord, stood waiting with his minions, Lilith Blackheart, Beelz, Hades and the corrupt elemental warrior of metal Merius, as well as some shadow warriors and cultists.

Finally, on the monitors was the general of Dark Heart, Mikey Kudo, along with Dr. Ebe and two other of Dark Heart’s Upper Echelon, the villainess psychic Airu Suzaki, known more by her code name, Charm Mistress, and Dark Heart’s top assassin, Ren Tobari, aka Shadowblade.

Airu, the head of Dark Heart’s Psi Division, was a nineteen-year-old girl.

She had blonde hair done up in two pigtails, with curls near the ends and had red eyes.

She wore a modified Dark Heart soldier outfit that was pink with a matching trench coat over it and four cylinder-like objects coming out of the back to help amplify her psionic abilities, while Ren, the head of Dark Heart’s Black Ops corps, was a nineteen year old teenage boy with light skin, straight dark blue and brown eyes, wearing a green Dark Heart soldier outfit, wearing a helmet that was shaped like an oni mask, a cloak generator rested on his back and two katana blades were in his possession.

The gathered group in the room turned to greet Davis, only to look panicked as they saw Kari in her heroine outfit and were about to attack her, before Davis held up a hand, stopping any unnecessary violence between allies.
“She’s fine.” He told them.

“Didn’t exactly have time to change,” Kari added as she glared at them, particularly at Jun and Jeri, who just chuckled nervously.

“Well then...” Ken started to say, getting back to the current problem upon Odaiba, where he then said. “Can someone please explain what happened? Most of the country is bowing to this thing and they’re rounding up anyone who wasn’t brainwashed and bringing them to the stadium.”

With that said, V.E.E. turned on a monitor showing cages made of energy in the stadium, with people being placed in them.

In one cell were Nene, Mizuki, Angie, Yoshi, Miki, Megumi, and Rachel, who were trying to get out, to no avail.

If one could see his face under his helmet, they would see Mikey’s eyes narrow in anger at seeing Angie, Nene and Mizuki in trouble, for, despite them being his enemies as Dark Heart, when he wasn’t trying to conquer Koto, he would hang out with the girls.

“V.E.E., do we having anything on this Charis from the Hyperion database we stole?” Davis asked, getting the others attention.

“Accessing...” V.E.E. said in reply, carefully searching through its memory banks, before coming across images of Charis appear on the screen.

“Overlord Charis, one of four children of a dark celestial called the Leviathan, and rule of a planet coined the Dark World. A powerful psionic, Charis has conquered thousands of planets, using their resources in a bid against his siblings as well as against their counterparts, the children of Minerva. It would appear he has come to Earth to add it’s populous to his army.” V.E.E. concluded.

“If he’s that strong, why isn’t the whole planet enslaved from that blast?” Airu asked, voicing the confusion that everyone else had.

“It seems that his energy was not at full capacity for it. The fighting must have distracted him. It may only be a few hours before he can try again.” V.E.E. explained in reply.

“Then we need to dispose of this threat now. If he thinks he can take our world from us, he’s dead wrong.” Davis stated with a determined tone, only for Mikey to point out. “Even with our combine armies, while powerful, we do not stand much of a chance against this creature. The heroes were unable to harm him and if your AI is correct, he didn’t even show his full strength.”

As soon as he asked, however, the black orb on Davis’ control chair, given to him by the Circle, began to glow a dark aura as six red eyes appeared in it.

“THE ANSWER YOU SEEK IS NOW ON YOUR DOORSTEP.” Zhaitan said, causing Davis to check the monitors for outside the base, smirk and then say. “Yes it has.”

----Back outside----

Suzie, dressed in her heroine outfit, which consisted on a red and black spandex suit with silver gauntlets, boots, belt, and a chest piece, flew fast down a narrow alley, using her telepathy to move trash cans and a dumpster, only for them to be blasted away as Zoe, Izzy, Tai, and Azumi chased after her.

And as Suzie continued to run, she soon came to a halt, for she found herself in a dead end, turning in fear to se her four brainwashed friends surround and approach her.

“Surrender Suzie and Master Charis will give you a grand spot in his army.” Zoe said in monotone voice.

“C’mon, snap out of it!” Suzie yelled, trying to use her telepathy to reach into their minds to them, but Charis’ mental hold was too strong for her to break.

Scared as they were about to come at her, Suzie closed her eyes, before she was teleported away in a stream of energy, confusing the brainwashed group, making them wonder when their target had gone.

----Painz’s base----

Suzie still had her eyes closed as she felt two arms wrap around her, before she calmed down when she heard Kari’s voice.

“It’s ok Suzie, you’re safe now.” Kari assured, causing Suzie to open her teary eyes and saw Kari smile at her, causing the young psychic to smile happily at seeing the electric heroine not under the aliens’ control.

However, her smile then faded as she looked to her side and saw a gathering of some of the world’s top villains, causing her eyes to widen and question with a shriek. “How is this safe!?”

“If we wanted to harm you Ms. Wong, we would have left you outside.” Davis said in his Painz persona, not even looking at her as he typed on his control screen as the side of the room opened, revealing an army of V-bots, including two gigantic ones that resembled large dragons that had giant claws, three horns on their heads, and a massive beam canon on their backs.

“I will bring my armies from the void to aid us, we will meet you there.” Takato spoke up, just before he and his servants disappeared in a cloud of dark energy, a sight that scared Suzie as she clung tightly to Kari.

“We’ll meet you there as well.” Takuya said as his group left.

“And we will reinforce you.” Mikey said as he ended the transmission, sounding neutral, while hiding his determination to save his friends and unknowing enemies.

“Well then...” Ken spoke up, getting everyone else’s attention, causing Suzie’s eyes to widen at seeing the head of Ichijouji Corps, Yolei’s boyfriend, here with one of the world’s top villains.

“I best get ready myself.” He then said, making Davis ask slyly. “Going to join in the fun finally?”

“End of the world, why not go all out?” Ken asked with a matching smirk, just as he made his way out of the room.

With all the villains but Davis gone, he then walked towards Suzie, who clung tighter to Kari, making the brunette gently caresses her back gently and tell her. “Now my dear, we have a lot of work and little time to do it. Let’s go save the world, shall we?”

Though she didn’t trust Paniz or those who would act on the sides of evil, she trusted Kari and knew siding with the enemy would be the only way to save their friends, as well as the world.

----Charis’ ship----

As the invasion continued, Overlord Charis sat on his throne as he regathered his strength, while looking over some of his newest servants.

Both Rika and Eri were dressed in skimpy harem outfits that showed off their tone bodies, as well as Eri’s D sized breasts and Rika’s large C sized breasts.

Both had collars around their necks with chains that attacked to the throne as they stared worshipfully at their Master with blank eyes, while in front of the throne, Sora, Mimi and Yolei stood at attention in their heroine outfits with blank looks on their faces, awaiting commands from the one who had brainwashed them.

On Sora’s and Mimi’s arms were special bracelets that, along with a device on the back of their necks, amplified their powers.

And instead of her usual weapons, Yolei had two sleek blue sword hilts on her sides and specialized daggers.

And observing them, a small creature, dressed in a black robe with only two red eyes peering out of its hood, walked around the girls before saying. “These will be powerful warriors for your army my Master.”

“Indeed, the fiery one will be the commander of my new forces.” Charis said in reply as he stood, already looking forward to adding more of these super powered humans to his army, as well as retraining the Hyperion on this world to serve him.

“Gather my servants, it’s time I bring this world fully under my thrall.” Charis then commanded as he made his way out, ready to move onto conquering the rest of the Earth, unaware the forces of darkness were planning to stop him.

----Painz’s base----

Suzie sat quietly in a chair as she looked around her, seeing V-bots getting ready for battle, while Jeri summoned a large wooden lion.

She then looked to see Kari and Painz talking as he helped put special equipment onto her.

Slightly worried for Kari, Suzie tried to concentrate, to see into their mind to find out why Kari would trust Painz like this, only to find that she couldn’t making her fear that her powers might not be as strong as she and everyone hoped.

“There are Psi dampeners in this base Ms. Wong, so your powers won’t work in here.” Davis explained, getting Suzie’s attention, before the masked villain looked at her and asked. “How else could I hide it from other psychics?”

Suzie just nodded at this before Davis looked back at Kari to see her new gear; special bracers and a neckpiece that had blue wires running up her arms, connecting to one another.

“This should amplify your powers greatly, and it looks the same as the alien tech, so you can blend in with the others.” Davis told Kari, making her nod in reply.

“Now you know your part?” Davis then asked in a whisper.

“Yes Master, sneak in and blend with the group, that way when they’re all freed, my other half will wake and think she was part of the group that was enslaved.” Kari replied, though sounded a little sad, which Davis noticed and asked in a gentle and caring tone. “What’s wrong, my naughty feline?”

“I want to be with you fully Master, and I am confident my other half feels the same way. When this is all over, please tell her.” Kari replied with pleading eyes.

“That would only complicate things. Plus I doubt She would accept me for what I really am,” Davis replied, not ready to lose his one true light like that.

“You’ll be surprised what she can except when it comes to you, my Master.” Kari said in reply with a wink, confusing Davis, before she got up and got ready for her mission.

Davis then shook his head as he picked up another neck device and walked over to Suzie, who had a defiant look on her face as Davis got down on one knee in front of her.

“This device will amplify your powers, enough to free everyone from the mind control they are under, and will prove a match against this Charis.” Davis told Suzie as he held out the device, offering it to the girl.

“Why should I trust you? And what did you do to Kari? She would never trust someone like you so easily.” Suzie all but yelled, angry and confused as to what had happened.

Realizing that this was the only way for her for her to trust him, Davis reached up to remove his masked, confusing Suzie, before her eyes widened at seeing the familiar face under the mask.

“Because I trust you, and the world needs you. I will explain everything when this is over.” Davis told Suzie in a gentle tone.

And while conflicted, Suzie just nodded her head, still shocked that the boy she had ice cream with only a few hours ago was one of the world’s greatest villains as she took the device, thinking back to their conversation from before.

Seeing her ready to help, Davis got up and walked towards a metal cylinder that popped out of the floor, which then opened to reveal a special armour Davis had constructed for such an occasion, never expecting such a situation would arise where’d he have to use it, but was glad he did make it.
