Burning Amber Ignited by Azure Flames

Kaoru
awoke to something tickling her nose.
She brushed at it sleepily hoping it would go away, but it refused to
obey her demands. Reluctantly waking
up, she opened her eyes to see several strands of dark, red hair brushing
across her face. Grinning slightly, she
turned her head to look at the man lying beside her.

Kenshin
was sleeping soundly, and Kaoru had a distinct impression that she was the
cause of it. She was his calm in the
storm that was his life. He was lying
on his side, and his left arm was wrapping securely around her waist, clutching
gently at her yukata.

gently unlaced his fingers and slid out from under the covers. Kenshin shifted slightly but did not
awaken. She walked to the door leading
outside and quietly slid it open.

The
sky was clear with only a few wispy clouds, and the stars were twinkling up in
the heavens. Even a falling star winked
at her as it made its way down past the horizon.

Kaoru
crossed her arms and rubbed her shoulders briskly. It was rather chilly for a summer evening, but then again, she
was rarely cold when Kenshin was beside her.
Her thoughts turned steamy, and she felt her cheeks flush at the
memories that came to mind. Their love
life was sweet and sensual; their desire never dwindling for each other. Kenshin once told her that she brought the
same passion she had in life into their bed, and he loved her for it.

‘He
loves me; it still seems so new,’ she said silently.

Kaoru
had always known that Kenshin had felt something for her, but she never knew
exactly what that something was. His
protection of her had been a hint, but only when he’d actually said the words
had her heart exploded into pure happiness.

“How
long has it been since he said it?” she voiced quietly.

“Since
I said what, koishii?” a soft voice rumbled, and a pair of arms wrapped around
her waist. Kaoru sighed happily and
leaned back into her lover’s embrace.
Turning her head, she smiled tenderly.

“Nothing
Kenshin, I was just thinking.”

“About
what?”

“The
first time that you told me that-”

“I
love you,” he interrupted. Her knees
nearly went out from under her at his soft words and the love in his violet
eyes.

“Yes. It just seems like yesterday.”

“I’m
sorry that I waited so long, koishii, but I couldn’t risk…”

“Shh,”
she quieted him, “I know, my darling.”

Kenshin
cupped her face in his hand and just stared into her beautiful, blue eyes. He’d been awake since she’d removed his arm
from around her, but he wanted to see what she was doing. Her beauty never failed to amaze him, and
her scent nearly drove him mad – as sweet as jasmine and as addictive as
opium. There was only thing that he
loved more than her scent, and that…was her taste.

Kaoru
had been watching the desire begin to boilhis his eyes and was just waiting for
him to erupt. He claimed her mouth in a
soft kiss and turned her around to face him.
Kenshin’s arms wrapped around her like steel bands, and Kaoru curled her
arms around his neck. Just a few
moments of touching were enough to make them both hungry for each other.

Kenshin
pulled away from her questing tongue, which had just done a thorough survey of
his mouth and slid the dojo door shut.

“Come
back to bed, Kaoru.”

When
she smiled warmly, he swept her up into his arms and carried her back to their
futon. He laid her down and gazed into her eyes.

Kaoru
tugged impatiently at his hair, and he grinned at her slyly.

“Patience
koishii, you know I can’t resist you.”

“To
hell with patience!” she nearly shouted.
Now, that was the Kaoru that Kenshin knew so well.

He
swept down and fused their mouths together before she decided to clobber
him. His nimble fingers tugged at the
belt of her yukata, and a moment later it was released. Kenshin pulled back slightly and stared into
her eyes. Kaoru made no move to stop
him as he parted the folds of her robe and revealed her body to his eyes.

She
began to tremble as his piercing gaze consumed her entire form. He had long ago burned her image into his
brain, but it made him gasp every time he saw her exquisiteness. Amber fire flashed in his eyes as desire
roared through his veins – an unending need for the woman in his arms.

Kaoru
watched the golden fire roaring in his eyes and smiled inwardly. It never ceased to amaze her just how much
power she had over him. Though no one
could ever tell, she knew just how much her mere presence could affect
Kenshin. She was the one who had asked
the rurouni the stay with her, and she was also the only one who could calm
ra
raging fire of Battousai!

Kaoru
almost giggled at seeing Kenshin fight within hif; if; it almost felt like she
had two men competing for her attentions.
She couldn’t complain though; he’d never left her wanting for anything. Kenshin brought both extremes to the table
when they made love. He could be soft
and gentle as he was quite fond of being with her, or when Battousai was
unleashed, he became hot and needy – like an animal in heat, and Kaoru found
that her fire would ignite to the same intensity as his. She loved both sides of his personality
equally, but what truly made her heart swell is that both her rurouni and the
Battousai had said they loved her.
Kenshin loved her with all that he was.

“Koishii?”
His voice brought her out of her thoughts.

Kenshin
was hovering over her; his body not even an inch from hers. Kaoru cupped his face in her hands and drew
his lips down to hers.

“Take
me, Kenshin, take me anyway you want me.”

Again
the amber fire roared into his eyes, and for once, Kenshin let it remain. She was so trusting of h eve even with
Battousai she still trusted him.

Kenshin
brushed his fingers along her neck and felt her tremble slightly; she was so
responsive to him. He nibbled on her
bottom lip while his hands slid lower.

“Kenshin!”
she gasped as he cupped the fullness of her breasts.

“I
need you, koishii, I need to taste all of you!”

Dipping
his head, the samurai drew a pink crest between his lips. Kaoru gasped and pressed his head against
her body. Kenshin opened his mouth and
drew in as much of her flesh as he could.

‘Kaoru…your
skin could put even the finest silk to shame.’

He
moved to her other mound, and Kaoru’s fingers guided his head along. His free hand danced over her toned stomach
and parted her yukata completely.
Fingers trailing through soft, raven wisps, he found the heart of her
being.

“Kenshin!”
Kaoru shrieked as he stroked her center.

At
first, he only played with the surface never touching the pressing need
inside. Kaoru’s hips arched into his
hand, but he did not cooperate.
Instead, Kenshin slid his legs between hers and held them down to the
futon. He could feel the heat bubbling
under his fingers and opened the soft folds.
Her nectar flooded his hand, and he groaned at how wet she already was.

“My…my…koishii…you
are a greedy little thing tonight…aren’t you?”

“Kenshin…don’t
tease me…please!”

“Trust
me, you know I would never leave you unsatisfied.”

Kenshin
continued to torture her senses. His
lips continued to assault her quivering breasts while his fingers brushed
against the border of her entrance. He
playfully teased the hard bundle of nerves, and Kaoru bucked underneath him.

“Please…please,
my darling, I can’t take it!” she begged with tears streaming down her
cheeks. He kissed her lips softly and
nuzzled her right ear.

“Then
you shall have what you desire,” and his fingers thrust inside her.

Kaoru’s
being shattered in a violent scream of her lover’s name, and she shook
uncontrollably as thousands of sensations ran through her body in a matter of
seconds.

Kenshin
was there when she came back to reality, and he kissed her cheeks softly. His fingers continued to stroke her
sensitive opening while his other hand massaged her firm breasts.

“Kenshin…”
Her voice was raspy and hoarse.

“That
was beautiful, Kaoru,” he said huskily, and she blushed at his praise of her
response to his touch.

“However….”
His violet eyes twinkled with mirth, “…this time…I want to taste you when you
explode for me.”

Before
she could even think, he made his way down her body. Kenshin stopped to place an affectionate kiss against each
aroused peak, and her breasts trembled beneath his lips. Making his way down over her stomach, he
kissed her womb, and thoughts ran through his mind of their child someday
growing within her. He reached his
final goal and brushed her center with his lips.

“Don’t
be shy, koishii, let me know what you’re feeling.”

With
that, he kissed her soft folds. Kaoru
arched her back in sheer rapture as Kenshin began to lap at her essence. His tongue traced through every intricate
feature of her womanhood, making his lover quiver in delight.

“Kenshin…it’s
so wonderful…please…don’t stop…”

His
lips quirked up, and he continued to assault her mercilessly. He traced the hard nub of her pleasure, and
Kaoru screamed his name so loud Kenshin was afraid she’d wake up the
neighbors. Still, he didn’t care what
anyone heard; he loved drinking her essence.
He could feel Battousai rising inside of him again.

‘The
taste of my woman. Mine!’

Kenshin
couldn’t help it and let himself go completely. His tongue delved inside, and Kaoru’s hips arched to meet
him. When his eyes opened again, they
were solid amber, and the Battousai lifted his chin to look at his woman.

Kaoru
was moaning uncontrollably, and her hands were cupping her own breasts.

“Kenshin!”
she cried out and pinched her nipples.

‘Ah,
she yearns for me…does she?’

He
nearly ripped off his yukata and climbed back on top of her. Kaoru whimpered when she felt his wonderful
mouth leave her, but then, she felt his warmth encompass her once more. Her hooded eyes saw his face, and the bright
amber of his eyes. Battousai had come
for her once again. His hands cupped
her hypersensitive breasts, and his lips burned against her neck.

“You
are mine!” he said emphatically and kissed her lips. Kaoru draped her arms around him and pulled him close.

“Yes,
I am!” she cried out. His eyes held
desire, passion, love, and a possessiveness that made a delicious shutter pass
through Kaoru.

She
surprised him though when her arms tightened around his neck and nearly
growled.

“You
are mine!” she said in the same tone as he’d told her. The Battousai actually smirked at her.

“I’m
yours, am I?” his voice asked with a cool, seductive undertone.

Kenshin
maneuvered his hips, and his shaft brushed against her simmering heat. Kaoru moaned in agony, but she wouldn’t give
up this fight.

“Yes!”
she practically shouted. Her hands
moved down and grabbed his behind.

“You’re
mine!” and she thrust herself onto him.

Her
lover growled as he became buried in her hot tightness, and she clutched his
body against hers. Kenshin buried his
face in her hair and squeezed her breasts.

“Very
well…so I am,” he consented.

Kaoru
wrapped her legs around him, and he began driving himself into her at a furious
pace. Their mouths fused together as
their hips clashed time after time after time.

They
both pushed each other to the limit as Kaoru began chanting his name to the
rhythm of their lovemaking. Kenshin
drove himself into her depths, losing himself in the sounds of her voice.

“Don’t
stop, Kaoru, take all of me,” his voice groaned.

“Yes…Kenshin…yesssssssssss…”

Her
voice trailed off as she shuttered in his arms. Her body contorted with pleasure, and she screamed his name to the
heavens.

With
a final grunt, Kenshin slammed his hips into hers, growling her name as his
seed erupted inside her. He collapsed
onto her smaller body and closed his eyes in utter bliss.

The
lovers basked in the afterglow of their intense sexual encounter. Kaoru held his head against her breasts as
Kenshin listened to the steady thump of her heartbeat. Rising up onto his elbows, he placed a sweet
kiss on her swollen lips and brushed her hair off her sweaty face.

Kaoru
smiled as she saw his violet eyes had returned; her Kenshin was back. Still, to know that he could be both men in
one night was an exhilarating experience.

“Are
you all right, koishii?” he asked softly.

Typical
of Kenshin to worry about her – even after something like this.

“I’m
fine, my darling, I promise.”

With
a regretful sigh, he pulled out of her body and moved to lie beside her once
again. Kaoru moved into his embrace and
nuzzled her cheek against his chest.

“Hmm,
Kenshin.”

He
trailed his fingers through her raven locks.

“Kaoru,”
he murmured and kissed her sweaty forehead.

Reaching
behind him, Kenshin found their discarded blankets and wrapped them both in a
warm cocoon. Kaoru purred in
contentment and closed her eyes.

“I
love you, Kenshin.”

“I
love you too, Kaoru. Now, go to sleep,
my koishii.”

“Mmm.”

Her
soft grunt signathatthat she was already well on her way to the world of
dreams, and Kenshin tightened his hold around her as he soon joined her.
