And now he know, he just needs to get the proof so he believes. And hopefully Zarkon will be kept in the dark until it's too late to do anything about it. I just hope Lotor thinks up a decent cover story for why Allura hasn't been dismissed yet, lest that little detail gets him trouble. Well, until chapter 58, then. Laters.

Oh, and if you're interested, I've started my own Voltron fic, slightly crossed with Cardcaptor Sakura, and the first two chapters are now up at regular FF.net, I use the same name as here so it shouldn't be hard to find. Enjoy!

ooh, I wonder if Lotor is going to believe her claim to be Allura right away? I'm already preemptively feeling sympathetic to the princess of Demos - I hope Lotor decides not to destroy them (at least not by cruelly capturing the princess) once he realizes Demos never killed Allura after all, and that Lotor somehow manages the cancel the deal so she doesn't get lured to Doom. Oooo, now that you've told me new chapters are written, I'm really looking forward to the updates of your other stories too!

Yeah, that would kill the mood, wouldn't it? Hopefully once she explains why she didn't tell him sooner, complete with the big revelation of who really killed Adaline, he'll calm down. Yep, it's plotting an coup time! Can't wait to see how it happens in this fic! And of course Zarkon's arrogance is showing again. After all, he doesn't know for a solid fact Corrall is Demos's only heir to the throne, and by all accounts the King of Demos isn't all that much better than him, and so may not actually care what happens to Corrall once she's on Doom, so long as Zarkon keeps his so-called "promises". Well, until chapter 56, then. Laters.

Lots of drama this chapter; that meddling Zarkon! (Ugh, poor Allura forced to kiss her most hated enemy, that is shiver-inducing). Have I mentioned how much I love this story? Yes, I think I have, but it bears repeating.

In fact, I'm loving this story so much that I got impatient waiting for updates and went to your WordPress link from your homepage and have now gorged myself on more of your literary candy. So now not only do I have updates for Porcelain Dreams to look forward to, but I will be awaiting updates for some of you other stories as well (darn you for writing such compelling stories). I am *especially* enamored with the Skin Trade and Animal Attraction (any plans to add those to additional sites? Titillating stories the both of them -- I certainly am hoping you plan to continue those as well, even if slowly). And as I mentioned in my first review, I have never seen this series, but from what I can tell (based entirely on your stories, since yours are the only Voltron stories I've ever read or am likely to read in the predictable future) the premise of Animal Attraction provides an extremely plausible explanation as to why Lotor would be obsessed with Allura to the degree he apparently is, pursuing her despite repeated rebuffs. (And those were just my two favorites, in addition to Porcelain Dreams of course - I also am quite enjoying a Pregnant Pause (already finished Lusting Effects), Time's Tangent, and more. I really ought not to have discovered your Word Press treasure trove!)

But enough about your other fics, this story still has my rapt attention. Glad to hear you've finished the writing, but that there are still 30(ish) more chapters for me to await. How exciting that the Arusians are putting up a resistance even with their Royal Family lost to them. I can't recall, was Lotor aware/informed as a child from which planet Allura was taken? I certainly hope he was, and perhaps he will let slip that his childhood friend was from Arus (how else is Allura to discover this? I find it extremely unlikely that even if she were taken to Arus with Lotor (for example, if he is sent to quell the rebellion and can't bear to part with her) that any Arusian citizens would recognize her as the adult princess long lost to them...best to hear it accidentally spilled from Lotor's mouth.

Okay, obviously he's forgotten that Lotor would sooner kill any member of the Demos Royal Family than marry them, or is that the idea, get the family to come to neutral ground for ostensibly "peaceful" purposes and then ambush and whack the lot of them? Either way, Allura's options if the marriage does go through are reveal to Lotor the truth of who she is, suicide, and hopping the first nondescript transport out of there(and to hell with the Madame!)! And do I possibly detect a looking into Arus and discovery of her earliest roots on Allura's pat in the near future? And I half expected Lotor's reaction to Mundi's final question of where he was going to be "To run a knife across my father's throat!". Speaking of Mundi, darn you, I was ready to get my hate on for the guy, and now I don't know if I want to hate him or not! OH, well, until chapter 55, then. (82, huh? only 28 to go then!) Laters.

Yes, well, the implications were there nonetheless in the conversation. And given what little was told/seen in regards to Phillip's character, I'd honestly really hoped he'd taken off after that blowout in the classroom and was going to pop up as an independent or something. Poor guy, his worst fear his ultimate fate. Frankly, I fear his chances of making it to a second client... And I don't think Zarkon's ever managed to freak me out quite like that before. I think Allura should definitely let Lotor in on this incident and maybe even tell him straight out that it's her, if only in the hopes of gaining some insulation against Zarkon of some kind or other. Well, until chapter 53, then. Laters.

Why do I get the feeling she's wearing one of Adaline's old dresses, and her jewelry? Zarkon you skunk! The party should be quite interesting, as I'm guessing she gonna re-run into Crystalline, yes? You mentioned one of the other girls was going to wind up on Doom, and since Liandra is with a human client elsewhere... And as to the teddy robeast, thanks for the comment, I had been wondering. And you're welcome for the reassurance. Well, until chapter 52, then. Laters.

Hmm, well you could always double check, if nothing else. Yeah, I think once she calms Lotor down, possibly involving a lot of sex, she start checking of information you previously alluded to. And it occurs to me that the last time they laid eyes on her she was 10. Would they have really ever bothered to wonder what she would look like as an adult, especially Zarkon? So, no, I think their intelligence is just fine, but, as you say, ignorant of certain little facts. And in Zarkon's case, overconfidence and arrogance. Well, until chapter 49, then. Laters.

i don't think you made everyone too stupid - it was a bit of a giveaway that her name is Allura, but you remedied that by telling us that the name is common in their universe. Probably to the Drules, all humans appear similar anyhow, so it's not so strange. and you're right, people tend not to question deeply held assumptions (e.g. that Allura has been dead for years) - no reason to start questioning that now

Hmm, nice return to Doom, and good to see teddy robeast again, pity his head's not better off than before, though... And nice to see the Voltron robot mentioned again, though I see we're once again doing the replication game. Ah, well, no matter. So, when she realizes everyone thinks she died she also learns something that has her fearing for her life should her identity be realized? Can't wait to find out what that is! And you're welcome for the laugh, glad you enjoyed it. Until chapter 47, then. Laters.

Oh, I don't know, I think it works just fine. Makes sense to me she would have a mild breakdown after that way of losing her virginity, and it's nice to see Lotor actually stopping and backpedaling to correct a mistake, or at least atone for his moment of thoughtlessness. I think things are going to go well for those two, in private at least. Of course, there's still the matter of how Zarkon's gonna react to her, especially if he ever figures out who she actually she is! "WHAT?! But I killed...I mean, she was killed by the Demos bombs! Uh... Guards, KILL EVERYONE IN THE ROOM!!!" Nah, he's not that dumb...or is he? Oh, well, until chapter 44, then. Laters.

love this story. very well written and engaging. (And I don't even watch the series...not sure how I first came across this fic but I'm hooked, can't wait for the next twist.) One comment on this chapter - honestly I think the progression of Allura begging for the sex was a bit too fast here - she just got through having really painful penetration her first time, and the very next sexual encounter she's begging for it? that's the only part I found unbelievable - I like that you have Lotor trying to please her, by performing a very un-Drule like action (putting her pleasure first) and I don't think it's too unrealistic that she ends up finding the penetrative sex enjoyable after all that preparation, but it seems to me like it's definitely premature for her to request more - I find it tenuous that she would make the connection between "oral sex feels good" to "now I want him to stick it in me" based on her one prior unpleasant experience.

can't wait until Allura/Lotor figure out the truth behind who they are/what happened way back when. I'm hoping after they get closer and Lotor finds out who she really is, that she will eventually mention that his father killed his mother. Ooh, then the sh*t will hit the fan!

Yeah, very horny, the dolt. I don't suppose she quickly figures out he doesn't actually know it's really her, does she? And I see Haggar's being as creepy as ever. Hopefully after she's done it a few more times and maybe even derived some decent pleasure out of it if not an orgasm or two, Allura will change her mind about it? Or not... Well, until chapter 42, then. Laters.
