I really like this story. I keep checking for updates ^^ I think this chapter was good, as always. I'm really curious about what will happen between Iason and Riki now, and I usually only ever care about Raoul/Katze, he he. :3 It must be horrible to notice something like that, and of your own affliction. I wonder if this will make Iason hold Riki even tighter. You tend to obsess even more over things/people that you’ve almost lost.

And what in the name of perfection is Admon???

It is a harsh world you have created here, and yet once more there is a balance here. You give us two couples. . .Both contain Elites.

One is 'in love' with a mongrel, he has made a pet, and yet under the guise of 'love' he almost kills him, to punish him, for being back late. The mongrel, defies him, because he needs to be his own person, but as one can see here, he is still a Pet, forced to deal with Iason's (for a better word) perversions. Is this what love is?

Because we then have the other couple, they don't admit to love each other. And yet the Elite here, even though he is most unreasonable and has been 'harsh' has never yet crossed the line Iason has in behaviour. The mongrel here though warned continually, still crosses lines, and when certain lines are crossed (ie the use of the first name when not thinking) the Elite here, almost relaxes, feeling that the mongrel is more accepting of him. He has given the mongrel something I doubt Iason would ever grant Riki in this world of yours. The obvious being the equality in the bedroom, but there is a certain amount of respect there as well. He says he cannot understand mongrels, in general their need, for pairing partners, and yet in the same breathe, claims the same right as one. . . being faithful.

And yet if you asked this couple about 'love' they would look at you most curiously. . .for the present.
    .........

As to the rest of this chapter, well we now have a name to the Ruby and more facts are revealed. Admon. . .is too clever. . . and too sure of his abilities. Although he can 'read' what is going on between these two, he doesn't comprehend it. A weakness, that both Katze and Raoul should be able to use in the future when defending themselves against this opponent they are not even aware exists in their midst.

Re the rest of this chapter, your dialogue between Katze and Donovan was sharp and revealed more again about the relationship between them. And even Kato once more proves who he serves and who Katze protects.

Once again a brilliant chapter, which makes one pause and think beyond the actual storyline.
Thank you my lady, and hope to see the next chapter up soon. :)

    (17) Okay let's try this again because last night I got a whole review all typed out and then when I hit the review button the internet ate it. Then when I tried to get back to redo it, my internet decided to cut out and didn't come back until this afternoon *headdesk* seriously that's just my luck, technology hates me :(

Alright on to the chapter which I loved the beginning of and how you can devote a whole section basically just to kissing, it was so sensual and probably just as hot as the actual sex :) Didn't you mention something earlier in the story that hinted at Raoul bottoming because I'm not all that surprised that Raoul took this step, I sort of expected it. Either that or I took something completely nonsexual and made it sexual, which is a possibility ;) Considering how controlling Raoul has been throughout, this is a big deal especially considering that I doubt he realizes that who tops or bottoms has no baring on who's actually in control. Does Raoul even realizes how obstinate he can be and how it just makes Katze all the more determined to ruffle his feathers. They really need to stop with the games, you'd think that he's doing these things just to piss Katze off.

Of course this brings us back to Admon because I'm wondering if Raoul is allowing Katze this because he wants to give him something so he doesn't turn to Admon for it or is it the other possibility that he's allowing this because he finally got that clarity about Katze's feelings. Either way it's amazing just how much Raoul allows Admon to influence him even when he's not there, also considering Katze and him haven't really done anything yet. Although not for lack of planning on Admon's part, I'm thinking that he doesn't really have a chance but I can't wait to see how it all plays out. There's just so much more to Admon, I'm starting to get impatient to find out about him because I feel when we do it'll also clarify some of the questions about Katze's past, which I also can't wait for :)

Okay I'm done (again) I don't think it's as good as the lost review but at least it's understandable if a little random and I tended to babble on. I'm hoping next chapter we're going to get the guys out of the bedroom and dealing with other stuff which should be interesting :) Really great update ^_^

Oh, that was incredibly hot! I would not quite expected Raoul to give up or Katze to plunge so deep (pun intended). They seem to become more used to one another, which gives a pleasant feeling of intimacy, experienced by the readers, as well.

I found it very funny how Raoul is selective about what he hears and what he doesn't. It's touching how he doesn't want Katze to take drugs in order to satisfy the Elite's needs, which brings us to the fact that Raoul cares more about Katze, then just casual sex.

And there, ta-da, finally, we get the secret of the chaste kiss revealed. Because it was Raoul that dared to cross the line and kiss the suffering Katze (I assume when he was recovering from reconstruction), and that was a chaste kiss. A chaste kiss doesn't mean sex, it means affection, reverence, and a quality of feeling that surpasses the need for sexual release. Seeing that, I sense that Raoul tried to bring Katze closer, by any means, even tying him down with sex, to have him near, because he truly needs him.

Admon seems to be up to no good in this chapter. So he felt everything that happened between Katze and Raoul, because, for sure, he knows that Raoul gave himself to Katze, denying Admon this prize, to be Katze's first ... uke, he, he. Seme and uke, the place has been taken by Raoul, and he won't give up on it. Maybe Admon is right and it was fear that caused Raoul to let Katze play the top, but there was clearly need and desire, too. (The mysterious object, again ...)

The story seems to catch up with the pace, as Admon's true nature starts to reveal. I don't know exactly what it means yet, but it seems that the actions the Karinese will undertake have something to do with all the Blondies, or at least those in command, as he remarks how Raoul is more dangerous than Iason, because of his empathic abilities. In the same time, Admon knows that his smell irks Raoul to a great extent, and it does not seduce, like expected. He may want Katze, but I'm not sure if he will succeed, now that Katze got the real thing, and is no longer in need of a substitute. As Raoul noticed, by delving into Katze's inner feelings, it was Raoul always that Katze wanted, and not just a warm, pliant body.

I love how close Raoul and Katze get more and more with each chapter. Even Katze's pretentious conquest of lips and kiss, while making that pleasant inventory shows how the dealer learns how to take what's his, at least for small periods of time.

Kissing ... great kissing scenes, I always love to read great kissing scenes, as I always want to know what's behind a kiss, what it means. Smut was great, as always, but all that theory (and practice) about kissing really had me during this chapter.

Can't wait to see what's happening next.

Until next time, have a nice life, dear author!

Reading your work has always been like watching tropical storms gather; understanding the growing mass and strength while not really knowing where landfall will occur.

I am glad to see Raoul easing in his dominance; from experience I know that if the 'dominant' is too focused on getting what he wants form a partner, they often never receive the gift of the other and never understand why they are so disappointed.

I can only ask for more of your stories.

OMG! I am so loving this love affair between Raoul and Katze. I am kinda wondering, though, is Admon a servant of Katze's family (that Katze is unaware that he has of course). As sexy as he sounds I think Admon is going to cause more trouble for the dreamy red-head than needed. That's neither here nor there, I was hoping upon hoping that there would be more on the Katze being the "Seme" he never really leads in bed . This is the 1st time I am reading what someone saw as an extension of the OVA, I love the manga (read them all) and REALLY loved the anime (watched them both ), and this "pairing" was inevitable. I also wonder if you will tell us what happened to Riki when he got home (maybe in a new series***wink wink). And I think some one should put Guy out of his misery, I have hate him since he almost killed Iason & Riki in his jealous rage. I am looking forward to your next chapter . Thanks for bringing these to together.

It was a wonderful surprise seeing another chapter so quickly, and without your being aware, a wonderful birthday treat.. . . . .

So having read once, I read again, to really see here what I've missed the first time around:)

So before we begin any further, I have one simple question for you. .. Who has Raoul been kissing?

These Blondies, who are supposed to be above such things, really seem to have secrets galore. . .So when Raoul seems pleased that Katze enjoys kissing, it sounds to me as if this is one area he is not a novice in, as he also enjoys the sport and seems to be quite the expert as well. . . .:)

What I find most interesting in the first part of this chapter is that Katze is almost 'honest' with Raoul, but still holds back because he doesn't quite know what to make of Sir Am. . .And when Sir Am it seems isn't too sure where he stands in this, he withdraws into his Elite shell, which unnerves our Kat. . .These two are in quite a dance.. .

And for one brief moment, low and behold, when Katze has reached his wits end when trying to 'explain things to Sir Am, he tries to reason with 'Raoul'. Just as earlier Sir Am had to see the man rather than the ex furniture, Katze has also moved past the Blondie to the man beneath.

And yet these two continue to dance around each other, each not seeing or hearing what the other is truly saying. Raoul refuses to use the 'medicated' lube because as a doctor/scientist, he understands that it is not a safe product to use. Katze, not recognizing the 'concern' offers him a red robe meant for Admon. . .and the dance continues.

Now amongest all the 'action' going on here', I find you've revealed a few facts as well, and there are things that we have to remember too.

Raoul has empathic abilities, that he himself isn't aware of. . .That 'illegal' device that Katze offers him, regarding feelings isn't necessary because without it, Raoul reads Katze, and finally finds the 'truth' of his feelings. And with that truth, Raoul can now freely 'give' himself to Katze. And I would say this Blondie has fallen farther than Iason ever has. . .

But then again you jump to Admon, and the question now is. ..is he victim or villain? Raoul's untrained, unknown abilities, have picked up things without realizing it. It would seem there is a real reason beyond jealousy for his dislike of Admon. Because Admon is out for revenge. . .that box, that mysterious box is the key but the question still remains how involved was Raoul with the Ruby. What ever happened it would seem that Admon blames Raoul in some way.

So the questions that come to mind are. . how much does Admon know about what has happened between Raoul and Katze. He knows that Raoul took him, that was expected, he even sites that a bond was starting to be created between them. But here, he talks of sating Katze's secret desires and awakening others that have been untrammeled by anyone else. And I read this to mean that by having Katze take him, it would bind Katze to him in some way. But Katze has taken Raoul, so surely the bound that was being created, is close to completion. And surely even if Katze were to now bed Admon, he wouldn't be as 'amoured' or attached because he has already had what he has always desired.

I say close to completion, because even though the twin moons shine down upon them and they whisper each other's name to the other, minus title but in true feelings, it is the night, where all things are possible. The cold day, always has a habit of bringing back a colder reality, and walls are always easier rebuilt in the harsh light of day.

Hopefully something of this night remains when these two 'dancers' awaken.

Again a wonderful chapter, not only for the seduction, but for the depth, that makes us sit back and wonder, what will happen next. :)

    (16) When I got your email it reminded me that I hadn't reviewed this chapter yet, I'm sure you know how crazy busy the holidays are :)
This chapter actually brought to mind for me the Katze from the anime. Being strong not showing any emotion and doing whatever it is he has to do but once he's back somewhere safe you get to see just how deeply he feels things and how they affect him. By this point you can see how exhausted he is and he hasn't even heard from Kato yet about the whole Admon thing, does it ever end for the poor boy.

I think it was nice for Raoul to be reminded of just how deadly Katze could be if he so chooses, he isn't just some everyday business man, he has power and control in his own right even if it doesn't translate over into Raoul's world. And speaking of Raoul he was rather interesting in this chapter, he almost seemed sweet with his concern for Katze's arm and just general wellbeing. They have their moments where you actually do have hope for them, if they don't kill each other first ;) Plus there's always the sex which was as usual so hot between them, there's just such an intensity that always comes through in your story.

Another fantastic chapter, I will be eagerly waiting for more :) Have a very Happy New Year ^_^

He, he, this chapter was very sexy, indeed ... I love where the relationship between Katze and Raoul seems to head. Although Katze is still cautious about the feral animal that cares only about taking his body and bend his pride - apparently - there are more interesting things going on between them.

I love how Raoul begins to feel a little unstable when regarding Katze. After all, he wanted fear and respect, but being desired is so much better, isn't it, dear Raoul? I guess he is falling for Katze, or, better put, he is starting to realize that he already fell ... talking about 'imaginary fall from grace', I guess Raoul won't be a stranger to this, either. And it's quite funny how Raoul's jealousy is rearing its ugly head, what proof do we need more that another poor Blondie got entangled into some monkey business with a mongrel?

'Katze was finicky about what went into his mouth'. And there again, you have me rushing to the dictionary, because that sounded hot, and I didn't know what it meant. ;)

There is a part of Katze that Raoul only now begins to acknowledge. The part of Katze being 'the king of Midas', but I don't think that's it. It's also a glimpse of how human Katze is, and the way Raoul takes him to the bathroom and washes his hair really surprised me in a very pleasant way. Raoul providing comfort? Not something I could imagine at the beginning of this wonderful story. Hoping for it? Definitely.

This chapter was a really nice surprise for us, readers.

Until next time, Happy New Year!

First a very humble thank you for the unexpected acknowledgement. ..but now to more important things. . . .:)

Okay, I lied, my mind is too full of thought to re read this 3x and I really have to go back and check out where and when Admon talked about a 'fall from Grace'. . .but the one thing that hit me on the head in this chapter is the shift in perception. . .

The ever jealous Raoul (and does the 'man' even realize that that's what it is, or does he just look upon it as an unexpected intrusion in his domain) has by circumstance and 'desire', now been forced to see Katze in another light. And it makes sense why this change had to occur. . .

We already know what Katze is capable of, we have seen it time and time again. Raoul 'knows' what Katze is capable of, but there is knowing and knowing. For the first time, he has moved away from his mind set and see's Katze as a powerful figure. A leader, a thinker, a doer, and not just an ex Furniture who is running the Black Market, but 'a man' who is 'running' the Black Market.

Raoul's mind set has moved to a new plain where not only does he want to take, but to be taken as well. . .Why else when he watched Katze walk away dripping with his essence that his own spincter muscle responded to the sight. . . wanting that very same thing. And this is a Blondie we are talking about, he couldn't give himself to an Ex Furniture. . .but to a man. . . .well things are certainly progressing.

So as they stand in the shower, Raoul plays 'Furniture' to Katze. . .pleased that the normal Furniture mode of irritated speech of two beats has been missing for the evening. Progress, he thinks, but once again 'blind' as he only sees that Katze has changed. Well Raoul my dear. . .Katze isn't the only one whose mindset has changed. . .and as they are in the shower, I would hope that there is a part three to this little interlude. . .

Just two other asides. . .

I actually, just did my hunting and I found the Admon line." Oh just the ones we select to keep from ourselves in hopes of avoiding the imagined fall from grace." But would it really be a fall from grace. . .or just the opposite. . .Complicated indeed when you not only do you keep secrets from others, but from yourself as well. . .

And lastly, Katze's reaction to the 'girls' death.' He has no hesitation earlier in saying he is going to kick out of his stable two male members who have lost appeal. And once on the streets, you know they won't last long. However, it would seem that it is not only good business to keep his stable safe, but also something more. . .perhaps another 'secret'. Something that happened long ago to someone else, that causes those tears to fall. Once again, curious and out of place. . .once again similar to Sherlock Holmes and that dog in the night. . .afterall, this is Ceres, and this is the Leader of the Black Market amongest other things. . .why shed tears over this piece of chattel. . .

Considering I didn't think we would see another chapter until 2010, thank you for the treat. Hope you enjoyed your Xmas, and hope you have a healthy and prosperous New Year :)

Hello! Happy holidays to you too!!!
Nice one! This chapter had a little bit of everything:lemon, action, drama,violence...complete. My favorite part is (not a part actually) is the way their relationship is moving on...slowly, as should be from the begining.
Asalways there were a lot of ideas or more phrases i didn't get,but i think i'm gettingbetter because mostly of the chapter was understandable.
Happy Holidays again to you and your family!!!

    (15) Raoul seems bound and determined to make me loathe him especially when he's being such a condescending ass all the time to Katze. I'm also thinking that you can't really have a relationship that starts with abuse, it would become very tiresome very quickly if the person you were attracted to flinched every time you made a move around them. But this is a different society than ours and not just with the different classes but also their emotions and the way people react to certain situations. Katze is certainly capable of dealing with rough situations and by the end of it you saw that Katze may not be quite the victim that he first appears to be, or at the very least he can take care of himself. (did that make sense, i hope so^^)

Then there's Admon, I'm not entirely shocked that he had an outburst, I am shocked by the level of violence and that it was poor Kato that had to bare the brunt of it. I love that Kato isn't going to back down or be placated simply because Admon apologized and put on the obedient pet act, can't wait to see Katze's reaction to all this. And also your hinting at things to come from some of the stuff that Admon was 'seeing' definitely makes me wonder but I don't want to even begin to speculate because everything that I think of just seems too farfetched that it couldn't be right. It was just such a good chapter, it makes me anxious for updates :)

Merry Christmas hun, hope you have a wonderful (and not too stressful) holiday! ^_^

    Just a little addendum. . . :P

I really have to remember to read one of your chapters 3 times and slowly, rather than drinking it in quickly as things get missed. . . I take it back. . . its not Iason standing over Katze during that 'procedure' it's the Ruby. . . Black Moon Rising indeed. . . or to quote Raoul. . “He was that and brilliant. Well beyond his caste,” and I would say a scientist, perhaps doctor as well. . . meddling in things Jupiter wouldn't be too happy about. . . .

As to Admon. . . why do all his thoughts have triple interpretations. . . is that a double bond or a triple bond. . . between your world and Ainz's my brain is running overtime . . .:)

Grin, grin, grin, ... long minutes after .... still grinning ...

Thank you, dear author, from the bottom of my heart, for noticing the ardor with which I read this perfect piece! It is maybe unusual for this little fanfic world to encounter such sublime play of words, for transmitting feelings so fragile, only for the fleeting benefit of those in search of a little shot of stout to ease their need for something more. It is yet enough for me, a mere mortal, granted a dedication I've never felt worthy of. Am I too much of a suck up? But I'm impressed, and
there is one thing I know, even if it is said that imitation is a sign of admiration, I will never do that, because I know I can never become you.

And, now, about the chapter ... Katze seems to be so daring ... I love it! He frankly admits, much to Raoul's surprise, I bet, that he likes Admon, and he intends to sample the goods in order to establish the price. Yet, the price is not the reason ... and there is a stronger link between Katze and Admon that Raoul is not aware of ... if he knew it, he would be through the roof, I presume.

Which brings us to the strange sensations Admon is experiencing, while 'visiting' Katze's past with his keen mind ... His mind is traveling, but towards what? Will we be soon revealed the meaning of the story title, Black Moon Rising? Is Admon to transform into something else, and is Kato not far off the mark when he thinks Admon can be really dangerous? Yet, Admon seems to be on Katze's side, so Kato may be just misreading.

The smut was incredible! Do I sense Raoul's tough composure cracking a little? At times, he almost seem affectionate towards Katze, and I don't think it's just the sex. Clearly, he is jealous of Admon and that makes it so funny, but that confession, "I have always wanted you", tells us more of Raoul's interest in the 'little one'.

I looooooove how Katze is so lewd in his comments during sex. "Fight later. Fuck now" Oh, yes, baby, Katze, you're so good! But then again, comes something Raoul says about 'mine' and 'yours' that leaves Katze (and us, the readers) hanging in hope for a stronger feeling to develop between our two beloved bishies. When Katze asked Raoul to make him rememmber that the Blondie was the first one is like a sign that Katze thinks that Raoul will get over his infatuation and forget about him at a certain point. It's pretty sad, but I just know in my guts (he, he), it won't be the case. :)

There is one thing I noticed ... I don't know its significance, but Admon remembers a chaste kiss, which reminded me that Katze, at a certain point, during the first chapters also remembered about a chaste kiss. Is it a coincidence, or an important point that binds the two together? (And the biggest question is ... who kissed Katze, back then? Could it be Raoul? If so, what could be so chaste about the guy ;) I guess it's someone else involved ...)

Forgive my puny vocabulary that cannot express the feelings I experience when reading your story, but I'm writing my comments in the 'heat of the moment', because later, I find it hard to recollect those first impressions.

Until next time, have a nice life, and thank you again! (bows deeply)

I liked the part Amond played in this chapter. It gave it more depth. Raoul is still a hard piece of stone, but he showed more emotions here. I liked that too :3 I simply love the way Katze is portrayed here. And it's so sweet how loyal his servants are to him. I really like that. I can't wait for the next chapter.
